Research || Miri is forever seeking new knowledge. The pursuit of learning is never over, as far as she's concerned. There's always something else out there to know, some new discovery being made - and so she endeavors to broaden her horizons as much as she can and as often as she can. She can often be found with a book or watching a documentary or flipping through some obscure journal to find the latest and coolest research out there!
Science Fiction || Yes, Miri loves scifi. Star Wars, Star Trek, Dune...hell, even old scifi b-movies. She eats it up with absolute glee! She also considers it a theoretical source of ideas for research -- there's so much potential in the universe, and sometimes it's only in fiction that people are willing to take the first steps.
Virtues:
Curious || Miri loves to discover things, push boundaries, and generally pursue as much as she can. She is constantly exploring, both the physical world around her and in her research, and she does her best to share her knowledge with anyone willing to listen. It's all so exciting, after all!
Dedicated || Miri really does truly love science, and so she puts all of herself into it. This same dedication goes into every aspect of her life. Nothing is ever left half-finished and everything is always done to the absolute maximum. To do any less would be to waste whatever effort went into it.
Flaws:
Obsessive || When Miri finds an objective, she pursues it with everything she has, and if she decides that something needs to happen, it needs to happen. She can become almost Frankenstein-esque in her pursuit of knowledge, chasing goals regardless of ethics, limitations, or morals. This extends outside her work for the Negaverse, too - any project Miri takes on, she will burn herself out on completing them and absolutely will not let things go.
Perfectionist || Everything must be in its place. Lord help you if you mess up Miri's organization. Having her schedule changed completely throws her off, having her things moved around turns her into a wreck. If things are not where they are supposed to be, when they are supposed to be there, expect her to fall apart in embarrassing ways.

 Negaverse Alias: General Amazonite
Challenge: "I'm not the princess. I'm the dragon."
Weapon --
Captain: A pair of deer horn knives
General: A pair of chakrams. At General, Amazonite's weapons can deliver an electrical shock when they come into contact with the body, enough to briefly stun or disorient the target. The stun lasts for a maximum of about 10 seconds, and they have to charge back up for 30 seconds between shocks.
Because of her half-youmafication, Amazonite has magical abilities instead of a weapon!
Frosty Presence: Amazonite runs cold, and touching her is a little uncomfortable, but during battle, she can turn that up, and create a sort of frosty aura around her. Her claws extend, a thin coating of frost trails over her arms and legs, and the air around her (and out to about 2 or 3 feet) becomes extremely, uncomfortably cold. Hits from Amazonite are also cold, and can leave behind the sensation of first degree (superficial) frostbite if they’re made to bare skin (or by her claws ripping through clothing!) with actual damage at player discretion. Amazonite can summon this aura for 30 seconds at a time, twice per battle.
Frost Breath: Amazonite takes a deep breath, and then exhales, and breathes frost that spreads to a ten-foot cone in front of her. The cone maintains itself for ten seconds before dissipating. Anyone within the cone will be chilled and experience the sensation of first degree frostbite, with actual damage at player discretion. They will also find their limbs, and especially their joints, lightly frosted over and will have some difficulty moving for 20 seconds, until the frost fades away. Amazonite can use this ability twice per battle.
Personal Item: Tome of Heraldry Physical Description - An elegant ancient tome, inscribed on the face with the heart-variant Mercury symbol and the Mimisbrunnr (a stylized version of the Well itself). The pages are of vellum, and have held up well through the centuries. Benefit/Boost - At first, the tome appears to be blank, but at the touch of a Knight of any rank, it will display an image of their heraldry, topped by the name of their Wonder. The image is then permanently recorded in the Tome, a record of the Knighthoods of the galaxy. It can only record three a day.
If offered to a Negaverse officer, the tome will not produce heraldry, but it will show them their Knight name. However, this drains the book for an entire month, and it cannot be used to record any more names or heraldries until it is recharged.

In Norse mythology, Mímisbrunnr (Old Norse "Mímir's well" ) is a well associated with the being Mímir, located beneath the world tree Yggdrasil. Mímisbrunnr is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. Both sources relate that the god Odin once placed one of his eyes within the well. The Prose Edda details that well is located beneath one of three roots of the world tree Yggdrasil, a root that passes into the land of the frost jötnar where the primordial plane of Ginnungagap once existed. In addition, the Prose Edda relates that the water of the well contains much wisdom, and that Odin's eye sacrifice to the well was in exchange for a drink from it.
On Mercury
There are two major parts to the Wonder of Mímisbrunnr on Mercury:
The Library:
The Library at Mímisbrunnr is the newer of the two parts, having grown up around the Well. Contained within it are primarily science, engineering, and mathematics treatises, as well as blueprints and, deep in its vaults, devices - some completed, some half-built.
The library itself does not look like a traditional library - the shelves are compartments, which are electronically locked, and only open when the documents inside are requested through the library’s archival system or if a manual security code is entered. More important documents require security codes entered into the archival system, only known to the Knight herself. The system is accessible from anywhere in the library, and is useable via a HUD with touch sensitivity.
The Well:
Mímisbrunnr’s well is the thing that gives her Wonder its name, and it is so old that its origins have been completely lost. As far as anyone - alive or ancestral ghost - knows, it has always been there.
In the Silver Millenium, the well was magic - it was truly a Well of Knowledge, and a sip from it could grant a seeker one tidbit of necessary knowledge, be it an answer to a question, the solution to a problem, or anything else small. Drinking more granted more knowledge, but drinking too much could break a mind with the influx of so much Knowing. In the present, the well’s magic no longer functions as it once did.

Weapon --
Page: A vial of a strange, glowing blue liquid.
Squire: A shortbow of some strange clear material (looks like glass, but much harder and less breakable) filled with strange glowing blue liquid. Magic: Mímisbrunnr's bow shoots plasmalike arrows. They pass through the target without leaving injury and vanish, and upon contact cause the target to, for as long as the magic works, "know" some terrible cosmic secret - the sort of thing man is not meant to know. It is impossible to define or pin down, except that it is very forbidden knowledge. At the Squire stage, it is mostly distracting, making it hard to think or focus on anything else. Once Mímisbrunnr stops channeling or runs out of magic, they forget whatever secret they "learned." At this stage, she can channel for a total of 30 seconds.
