Meet at the basketball court of Meadowview High School to ferry from the Earth to the Moon.

  • Ferry 3 - Horatio, Guardian Cat
    ------Kallichore (already has a pearl)
    ------Ida

All comers are welcome to have post in one of the three ferry threads to receive a Moon Pearl of their own (if a senshi), meet the Ferry Mauvians and senshi, and go to the moon! If you chit chat a bit, this RP would count as a reg (remember 450 words!).

Kallichore had received the message loud and clear - meet at the basketball court of Meadowview High School at a certain time to assist in ferrying individuals from the Earth to the Moon. The eternal senshi wasted no time at all powering up as soon as the coast was clear and took off to begin her mission.

The trip didn't take long but the eternal senshi took her time, stopping to scan every few houses due to the paranoia embedded within her from the Chaos ambush. Despite the fact that cats would likely be in attendance, once could never be too certain. The last thing they needed was to lose more people to the clutches of Chaos, never to be seen again. Kallichore sometimes found herself wondering what had happened to those that were not killed in the ambush but were never heard from afterwords.

She shook her head, trying to clear her mind of those thoughts as she made her way to the basketball court. Others were still alive and needed their help and it was their duty as soldiers to assist in any way possible. Kallichore found herself alone when she finally arrived, heels clicking into place on the concrete slab. The night was clear and the moon shone like a beacon in the sky. Now to wait and see who would require ferrying to the Moon.

The nightmare had come again tonight, but at least waking from it this time she had something to occupy herself. Tonight was the full moon, after all, and the message on her phone had called for a trip to the sanctuary so that Thraen would introduce his Black Watch. She'd volunteered to man one of the ferry points, so it was conveniently time to head over to the school and take up her post. Hopefully this whole event would help distract her from the dreams and all the revolving thoughts about Thraen and Bischofite and just... everything. She needed to stop thinking for a while.

Powered up, the walk to the school was an easy one, senses and phone open to make sure there were no chaotic signatures near the ferry point. Ida had no idea when Horatio would get there, so it was better to err on the safe side. When no blimps appeared on internal or external radar, the eternal made the leap over the link fence and headed towards the other eternal she sensed. That was most likely her partner for the night, so it was time to go and say hello.

Coming around the corner of the school, Ida caught sight of a girl with dark hair and a vibrant red and blue fuku.

"Hello!" She called as she lifted a brown hand in greeting, her compact making a soft click as she closed it and let it fall to bump against her stomach. "I'm Ida. Kallichore, right? It looks like we're the first ones here. Have you messaged Thraen yet? Or heard from Horatio?"

Degrasse was still on Hvergelmir's mind -- the big pearl sphere clutched proudly between her impossibly tiny hands as she showed off her weapon. And Cove -- his brilliant smile infective from the very first. Both dead.

Distantly, far away in the unforgiving guts of Mistral's Labyrinth, two radiant knights of the Cosmos had winked out as easily as the little white bulbs on a string of Christmas lights. Not on the front lines of a war. Not because the universe had destined their deaths for some great purpose. Just because sometimes, people died.

Sometimes children. Sometimes people who knew how to laugh and mean it. Sometimes -- almost all the time, all around the world, every single day -- people who should've had incredible lives ahead of them. People who ought to have laughed and loved and lived more.

Sometimes -- too often -- people died in pain. Sometimes -- too often -- people died afraid. Sometimes -- too often -- people died alone. And were never found. And went unremembered and unmourned.

That was not going to be Tara, Laney decided. She was done with waiting and worrying and hoping, and leaving her best friend to a fate of semi-abandonment. Tara had been missing for weeks now -- and there were stones Laney had been leaving deliberately unturned all along, just to give her hope while she looked, hope that the likeliest place she had left might still be where Sailor Aquarius was hiding. She couldn't bear it anymore. Not with the ghosts of Degrasse and Cove sitting on either of her shoulders. If there was any hope left that her friend was still alive somewhere, Hvergelmir would see it through to the end before the week was out. It was time.

The next-to-last place on her search was a long shot -- she knew that much. Expanding her powered social circle had certainly had its benefits, and one of them had been an surfeit of information through the grapevine that she hadn't previously been getting. This little tidbit was about the formation of a new senshi-and-knight coalition of some kind. Not a bad idea -- but she'd assumed it wouldn't be for her. There were too many things she couldn't do without putting her oath at hazard, and no point in teaming up with people who didn't share her disadvantage, or might be put in danger by it. It was better, she'd already decided, to stay on her own, managing her affairs in the way she'd already started doing.

But Aquarius could be here, she'd reasoned. To get help with her translations, or just to offer to pitch in in some way . . . She could be here.

If not, Hvergelmir would turn over her last stone, and see if Aquarius was there. That would be the end of it.

There were two sailor senshi on the basketball court; both felt powerful. Hvergelmir raised her voice to announce herself. "Hello?" she called out. "This is the right place for travel to the moon, right?"

Bifrost had heard about a sect of Order member creating a self place for people. She hadn't quite gotten the memo of who they were or where they were meeting. For all her socialiteness, Bifrost was out of the loop more often than not. She wasn't known much outside of the Chronos knights and the Zodiac, and the rings did very little to, well promote mass communication. She hoped that the loss of life to gain better com devices was well worth it to that Page.

Bifrost knew of death. Bifrost had died to become what she was. She had died to protect the Surrounding. She understood what giving your life meant. A rock had snapped her neck. She'd watched her best friend die not fifteen minutes later. Death was not something to take lightly, nor was it easily forgotten about. It was not something she was ready to invest time in again.

Bifrost idly rubbed the back of her neck at the thought.

She sincerely thought that the benefits outweighed the sacrifices. That was, though, neither here nor there for this evening's business. She could reminisce about death later. There was something else more important right now.

Even while being out of the loop, she'd heard about the meeting place. The little note it came in was rather polite, though it took her googling it to figure out where Meadowview was. The Squire of Chronos felt the powered auras before she reached the court, which meant she was in the right spot.

She saw a knight dressed in white announce herself and mention something about travel to the moon. Bifrost dropped from the roof tops and stepped up to the senshi.

"What she said. I'm Bifrost Squire of Chronos, by the way."

Megrez had been unsure of which ferry to go to when the locations were revealed. Any of them seemed like good locations, really, but when it came down to it, the ferry by Meadowview was simply the closest and most convenient for her. She went into her favorite alleyway (which she had mentally dubbed Henshin Alley at this point), powered up, and headed to the basketball court.

She wasn't the first person there; aside from the Eternal Senshi that she felt from quite a while away, there were two knight-looking ladies present. Megrez announced her presence cheerfully. "Hi! I take it this is the ferry point to the moon, right?" She hadn't met anyone there before; she was already wondering what kind of people she'd be heading to the moon with.

Though typically a morning person, even Ganymede had some difficulty dragging herself out of bed not long after 2 AM to get to the Meadowview basketball court by 3. Ignoring the temptation to roll right over after dragging her finger over the screen of her phone to turn off her alarm had been twice as difficult as usual. Stubbornness could be quite beneficial in that regard, and stubbornness alone had pulled her from the warm cocoon of sheets and blankets and Chris to make her way out into the night. She'd made the decision to hear this thing out, and she didn't often go back on her word.

She did, however, feel somewhat guilty for dragging Val out with her, particularly since his schedule was no longer as comfortable a routine as it'd once been. But she didn't really fancy showing her face without him there. Something told her he wouldn't have been happy to let her go alone anyway. At least she'd made it up to him with a big thermos of coffee and breakfast to go.

“God, I haven't been around this way since they kicked me out,” Ganymede said, glancing up at the school buildings as she and Val drew closer to one of the ferry points.

Meeting up beforehand seemed unnecessary to her when she was capable of heading to the Moon on her own, but she knew to expect Kallichore there. Tenuous as their acquaintanceship often was, Ganymede knew she'd still feel kind of bad for not dropping by to at least bid her teammate as merry a 'hello' as she could muster.

The heels of her boots clicked along the concrete upon arriving at the basketball court. Ganymede made a quick survey of those that had already arrived and decided Kallichore and Ida were the only familiar faces. Well, and she was pretty sure she'd seen the Senshi in cream and yellow at some point during the blackout a couple of months back, but she couldn't for the life of her remember the girl's name.

“I guess this is the place to be,” she said to announce her arrival. She didn't immediately offer to introduce herself, but held up the bag of food and thermos of drink she had with her. “Anyone want some tea and a muffin? I've got blueberry and chocolate chip. And Val's got coffee, but he's kind of cranky when he's just woken up, so don't be upset if he doesn't share yet.”

The RP with Laurelite hasn't gotten to the point for the Jovians to come in yet, but if you still intend to bring Kalli into it when it does, she'd already be aware of Ganymede's new look at this point, since ICly that happened about two months ago. <3

Being up this early definitely wasn’t something he’d been looking forward to, but the thought of letting Ganymede out and doing something potentially dangerous was even worse. He didn’t like thinking that he was getting too possessive or protective of her, as he was entirely confident in her own abilities as a senshi, but with everything that had happened recently, could anyone really blame him?

Valhalla blinked blearily as he followed Ganymede to wherever it was they were going, clutching tightly to the thermos of coffee she’d made. He’d been up late the night before at a game, so only having a few hours of sleep really didn’t do it for him…

"I'm okay, thanks," Hvergelmir averred the pretty blonde's offer of tea and muffins. She looked around at all the new arrivals, trying to see if any of them looked familiar. The senshi she didn't know, which was unsurprising -- she didn't know many senshi in general. They didn't drop by the park too often, and that was mostly where she did her socializing, such as it was. One of them, Sailor Tea and Muffins (for now) had a sharp, bright aura that reminded her of what had become of Babylon's after Cosmos's touch, but what that meant, she couldn't say.

There was a knight of Jupiter there, too, and a squire of Chronos -- but if they were familiar from one of the Olympus meetings, the impression was vague. Would any of them know Tara? Would she be here?

"I'm Hvergelmir Squire of the Cosmos," she introduced herself around, deciding to take advantage of the small gathering of people. "I'm actually looking for someone -- a friend who's missing. Sailor Aquarius of the Zodiac Guard -- she's been gone for a couple of weeks. Several weeks. I don't suppose any of you . . . ?"

The purple eternal felt the approaching signatures and part of her worried at this congregation of Order people without a cat to dampen their auras. Horatio was a little later, but maybe if they were quick about things, no one would notice the gathering... she'd just have to keep her eyes and senses open while they were transitioning.

"Hello!" Ida called as two knights and a senshi approached, offering them a warm smile. "Welcome to the ferry point! You are indeed in the right spot. We are without a cat at the moment though, so I think we're going to need to hurry things along before we get noticed... I'm Ida and this is Kallichore."

Ida gestured at herself and her temporary partner, the tingle of another eternal and knight signature drawing her attention. "I don't have a pearl, so Kallichore will have to do the majority of the moving you all until Horatio arrives... Oh! Ganymede!" The orchid senshi lifted a hand in greeting, her smile warming with familiarity. She recognized this eternal, though the gentleman with her was not someone she had met before. This could be beneficial though... maybe Ganymede had a pearl already.

"Ganymede, do you have a pearl of your own yet? We've got a bit of a group to move here, and at the moment only Kallichore has a pearl... It would be a good idea to start moving people as soon as possible, I think. Um... you look different... and you feel different, did something happy? Actually, no, never mind... I'll catch you later to ask, when we're not out in the open." This was probably the last place to be sitting around asking the other eternal questions while everyone else stared on. Questions could wait for the moon. Hopefully everyone else at the other ferry points was having a good time of it so far.

Nat -- sorry, Amphitrite; she thought maybe if she called herself that in her head while she was in powered form, it might help her not to have any little identity slip-ups. That would be just her luck. Even if she was supposed to be surrounded by friendly faces tonight, she didn't want to be the only senshi that showed up and randomly blurted out her actual name. Having a "superhero" persona was still pretty new to her.

Much to her pride though, she had gotten a lot of reading done on the whole primer thing, at least the basics -- so she shouldn't look too incompetent -- and, what was probably her biggest accomplishment if she was going to be completely honest with herself, she'd finally gotten the hang of the damn shell heels! Granted running still wasn't really her thing, but she doubted she was going to have to worry about that little issue tonight.

Ash was the one that had urged her to come, and Amphitrite wasn't about to say 'no' to her favorite alien cat. Even if she was totally into the idea of submerging herself in a sea of new faces that were all potential new allies (which were really all about one to three conversations away from being potential new friends), it would be nice to see Ash again. It would probably sound weird to anyone else, but that was sort of why she pushed herself a little extra hard with the whole shoes-and-info thing; Ash said she had only awakened two senshi so far. Even if there were a lot of senshi in the city, when it came to Ash, she was only one of two. Amphitrite didn't know if senshi were really a reflection on the cats who awakened them, but she kind of wanted to look capable if that was a thing.

She had thought about going to Destiny Tower since she knew that was where Ash was going to be, but she didn’t want to look clingy or something; she was getting by pretty good! Mostly. Considering. -- anyway, so she decided to head to one of the other two points, and it only made sense to stick with what she knew, right? Well, sort of knew. She didn’t play basketball, but she knew where the courts were and you get the idea.

She made sure to approach tall and confident, drawing a deep breath and stepping out to -- let her jaw drop a little. Oh holy cow, look at all the powered people! Look at those clothes! She’d never been around so many at once before -- hell, she’d still barely met anyone yet, so this was kind of mind blowing in a totally awesome way. “Hey, uh… glad I’m not too late for the moon thing!” Oh god, what was that? In that moment, Amphitrite took her father’s most precious advice to heart: when you say something dumb, just laugh like you meant to do that.

But seriously, what was she supposed to say? Not talk about the whole traveling to the moon thing? These people were going to the moon and they all had superpowers, come on now! Oh, right, introduction! Don’t forget the introduction! “I’m Amphitrite, by the way. Nice to meet you everyone!”

“Never met an Aquarius, sorry,” Ganymede replied, trying to sound sympathetic while eyeing the Squire of Cosmos with curiosity in an attempt to decide for herself who or what Cosmos even was. “I don't think I've really seen any of the Zodiacs since that one time with Madame Butterfly and the mirrors. Or... no, there was the ambush when we first went to the moon, but that was years ago, and I only ever really met Virgo that once at the Surrounding.”

Feeling incredibly unhelpful and somewhat guilty for it, Ganymede shrugged it off the best she could and focused instead on something she actually could provide assistance with. At Ida's inquiry, Ganymede gently tucked her thermos of tea under her arm to free up one of her hands, summoning her Senshi phone from subspace with a flick of her wrist. Colored red and speckled with black stars and bolts of lightning, there was indeed a glowing moon pearl dangling from the place where one would normally find some quirky phone charm on a normal phone.

“You mean these don't come standard now?” she wondered and seemed puzzled by it. Briefly she looked around for a cat to question but did not see one in the immediate vicinity. “Anyway, yeah, I can start taking people up if you want. I've only ever taken one person up at a time, though. I don't know how it'll work with so many other people.”

The arrival of another Senshi (Amphitrite) momentarily stole Ganymede's attention, and after looking the girl over the way she often did when trying to place a fuku or a face, she realized she should at least announce her identity seeing as she was mostly unfamiliar with the gathered party. “I'm Ganymede,” she said, red lips quirking into a smile. “Anyone ready to head up?”

Megrez recognized Ganymede from the rooftop during the blackout; she had targeted that certain General that Megrez had egged in the face. She began her introduction with enthusiasm. "By the way, I'm Megrez, Senshi of Eggs. It's nice to meet you all! Ganymede, you were there at the rooftop during the incident with the blackout, right? I think I saw you there. And... Kallichore? The same Kallichore who wrote the Senshi Primer?" It had to be the same person, but it never hurt to make sure. That and she was sort of still getting used to being around all these powerful, experienced senshi (though that was a bit of an exaggeration, given the other basic senshi and the squires). She was a little starstruck.

So she was late. Kepler got turned around here and there because she might have been sucked into a horror movie marathon with her little brothers. Then the oldest of them started falling asleep and snoring she realized what time it was and excused herself to bed and proceeded to sneak out like she did every night she'd went patrolling. To the little roof outside her window, shimmy down the drain pipe and then transforming in the clearing to the side of her house. She was getting a lot faster at it!

Checking her phone and realizing just how late it was, she'd ran at full speed to get to the destination point she'd heard.

Upon arriving at the basketball court, she realized she heard more voices than she thought she would and it only made her move forward even more. Meeting Senshi was something she'd wanted to do for a while now.

"Sorry I'm late," she chimed, dusting herself off with a sigh. "..Assuming this is where we meet up to go to the moon?" Lilac eyes moved from one to the next, waiting for an answer and biting down on he bottom lip.

Mimisbrunnr had received word sort of through the grapevine of a gathering on the Moon, a coalition of Knights and Senshi who would hopefully be able to help each other.

She wasn't sure she was ready to go to space again - her dreams were double-awful, the past few days, because first it was the entire city bein destroyed, and then it was Degrasse and Cove being sacrificed for the good of the rest of the Knights.

She still wasn't sure it was all worth it.

Still, she has henshined up, kissed her girlfriend goodnight, and gone to find one of the meeting places, where she was delighted to see a familiar face.

"Hvergelmir!" The Mercury Page called, perhaps a bit too excitedly given how they had last seen each other.
