Still, a meteor shower was both a fascinating scientific phenomenon and quite lovely, and so she paused over the unconscious body of the poor b*****d whose energy she had just drained to watch the stars streak across the sky. A tiny "hmm" passed her lips as she considered the odd ones--the colors that shouldn't be there.
Well! That would be interesting, she was sure.

Super Sailor Etamin had powered up too, because he had sensed the presence of an enemy in the area. But he too, stopped and started up at the beautiful, yet he knew unnatural scene. Was it an omen? And if it was, was it good was it good or bad? He forced his attention away from the shower, and unto the enemy. What was she supposed to be? "What are you supposed to be, an underwater ninja?" He supposed that she was a Captain, at least that was how he sensed her. An unconscious civilian lay at her feet. She must have drained him. He had to stop her, before she hurt anyone anymore.

Amazonite blinked, and turned to face the Super Senshi. She'd been so distracted, she hadn't even noticed him coming up. How silly of her; she knew she needed to be more aware.
"An underwater ninja. What an interesting guess! Nope, I'm Captain Amazonite of the Negaverse. I do science, mostly." She swept a bow, and summoned her deer horn knives to hand, then straightened back up. "This doesn't have to get violent! I mean, I won't mind if it gets violent, but it doesn't have to. We can both just watch the meteor shower and walk away, I promise!"

Etamin frowned. And ran a hand over his new shaved head. It was strange, no longer having his long thick braid. "But you already made it violent." He nodded to her unconscious victim laying on the ground. "For him." He was quiet for a minute and then asked, "What am I supposed do with that? Would a police officer, upon finding a criminal standing over a hurt man, just let the criminal walk away? Tell me that."

Amazonite glanced down at the unconscious man underfoot, and made a "huh!" noise. "Oh, right. Guess that's true, I did." She shrugged her shoulders, and briefly bounced onto her toes.
"Well then! You have your duty, Officer, but I don't plan to come in peacefully!" she chirped, and then she launched forward, bringing up one of her knives to slash at his chest.

Etamin had to put a quick stop to that. Quickly he used his power. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Pharaoh's Plague -Directions: Write Curse in Hieroglyphics in air. In English reads, "Blind and deaf as Pharaoh, In death, you will be, Until count of thirty, Cause you would not listen to me." -Effects: Blinds and deafens enemy for 25 seconds -Uses: 2

Amazonite had been fully ready to attack, really she had--except then the magic happened. And everything went dark. And silent.
"What did you do to me?" She demanded--or thought she demanded. Hoped she demanded, because she couldn't hear her own voice. Her weapons slipped from her hands as she grabbed for her face, trying to feel if something was covering her eyes or ears--nothing. It had to be the Senshi's magic.
There was nothing she could do, even though she felt fury rising in her chest. She hated having her senses suddenly taken away--it was terrifying and rage-inducing all at once. But all she could do was wait it out, and hope the brat was still there when her vision cleared--if it cleared--so that she could make him regret it.

There was no point answering her, not right away, she wouldn't hear him anyway. It would come back to her in a few seconds anyway. He kicked at her, attempting to knock her knives out of her hands. Without weapons, she should be easier to fight, even when she did have her sight and hearing back. Meanwhile the draining victim was able to groggily get up. "Get out of here!" Etamin yelled at him. He ran.

This was....the most terrifying fight Amazonite had ever been in. The darkness seemed to stretch on and on, and there was nothing she could do to stop it, even if practically she knew it couldn't have been long at all. Worse, when the Senshi came at her swinging, she couldn't see or hear it to protect herself--so when he kicked at her, it hit home, and she stumbled backwards.
She flailed out with her hands, hoping to grasp cloth, but it was hard to aim or even grab.
It was like some kind of terrifying nightmare, and even once it abated, she was left shaken. The sudden return of her vision had her blinking and rubbing at her eyes, and then glaring.
"You...you'll pay for that," she growled, and she launched herself forward, aiming to shove her hand in his chest and grasp his starseed.Sailor Hawk obv feel free to stop her however you like!

Etamin easily knocked her grasping hands away. Then he tried to knock her legs out from under her. This was definitely one of the toughest fights he'd been through.

Amazonite skipped back from the attack on her legs and growled, summoning her weapons back to her hand. She didn't like having to do that, it cost her energy, but clearly this Senshi needed to be taught a lesson. She borught up her deer horn knives and slashed them at his chest.
"You got what you want. You saved that poor innocent soul. Why don't you run before I decide that I'm going to make you pay for that with your life?"

Light gashes appeared on Etamin's chest. The pain was inexplicable. Did she have poison on those things, or did she nick something important. Spots appeared in his vision, but he held it together. "Does a police officer run from a criminal that hurt a man?"

"A smart one," Amazonite said lightly, and she let herself grin like a slightly dangerous creature, "might think about the wisdom in living to fight another day." She twirled her weapon around her finger. "Unless you're really ready for this to be your last night on duty. Because I promise, I am so happy to oblige if that's what you want."

Etamin grinned ruefully himself. It pained him a great deal, but he didn't show it. Etamin spoke the words to what could be her fate. Whether he was successful or not he didn't know, but he began to drag himself away.

There it was again, the terrible blindness and deafness.
Amazonite would remember this Senshi. She was sure of it.
She wanted to keep going,t o finish this--but something heavy and solid struck her, and the Captain collapsed. Etamin had successfully knocked her out; she couldn't even begin to try and follow.
