Animal Shelter – at least once a week Eric volunteers at the animal shelter, on the contingency that hes never a part of any euthanasia. Eric loves being around animals, and the gentler cats and dogs match well with his personality. He had a dog for a little while, but he felt bad because he couldn’t provide for it. When the poor pooch got hit by a car, he didn’t have the heart to adopt another one.
Guitar – Eric plays several instruments, but none so well as his guitar. His ideal weekend is spent picking at those six strings and humming a tune to go with the melodies this produces. He plays frequently on corners, his guitar case open in front of him in the hope that maybe, just maybe, someone will drop a penny into it.
The Bus – a stranger fascination Eric has is with riding the bus. He tells people it’s because he never saw buses back in Scotland. This isn’t true, Eric has a much more personal and secret reason that he takes the bus where ever he has to go and even rides it when he has nowhere in particular to go.

Virtues:
Forgiving – Eric isn’t the kind to hold a grudge, he accepts most people for what they are and rarely admonishes anyone for anything. He doesn’t judge people for their pasts and expects they’ll reward his faith in them.
Kind – Eric is a gentle soul, he doesn’t like hurting people and will go out of his way to keep people from getting hurt. As an example of his kindness, there are a few street kids that help him promote his corner side music, even though they aren’t much help he still pays them out of his tips every time he performs, just to see the looks on their faces.
Optimistic – Eric still believes he’s going to be a famous guitar player, and this pervasive optimism in the face of all evidence dominates his entire life. Eric will always see a silver lining in every storm cloud, and always squeeze a half full out of every bone dry glass. It’s just the way he is, and those around him depend on his insights to lighten their loads.
Flaws:
Unmotivated – Eric rarely gets off his butt to do anything. Unless someone is being hurt, he generally doesn’t see anything as so important that his has to be done right now. Eric hasn’t been to a job interview in two months, and the last one he went to he was two hours late for. When hes hungry, he finds food, when hes tired, he finds somewhere to crash, but he doesn’t think there’s any need for a more structured life.
Inattentive – Eric is often in a world of his own, not really paying much attention to the world around him. He usually does this when he’s playing his music, but sometimes he gets this way when he’s in other relaxing situations (like on the bus). When this happens, he’s likely to miss something very important going on around him.
Romantic – Eric is easily smitten by women. This gives women specific power over him; they can easily crush his heart with a scowl or buy his allegiance with a blown kiss. This doesn’t mean that a woman can easily motivate him to, say, get a job or something like that, it usually just means that women who play into his flirtatious advances will be showered with love songs.
