✪ August 10th, 2008. Lillian takes Reks out grocery shopping at Gambino Marketplace. While there, they meet Namini, another lab member that Lillian has come across on a few occasions. A diamond in the Rough.
✪ August 7th, 2008. Let us introduce You. After the kids take care of their ward for a few days, Lillian decides to call Aphismet. They are invited over to his home, and while they are there Tyson and Iorek go off to play with Rivener while Lillian talks with her friend, Aphi about what they should do.

While out on the street, they run into a green haired woman with some alien creature, and a man with a kid who has hooves for feet, and a raevan! Shopping is good for the Soul!
✪ August 27th, 2007. After visiting the Delaran's, the children go home but when they turn off the lights, someone decides to make themselves known. This mysterious being will change their lives for good.

While she is there she meets up with Natsuki, Alex, and Niksia and listens to Natsuki's sad tale of a genie.

Currently: evil Name: Iorek Nickname: Reks Fel Essence: Mimic Stone Fel Essence Desc: It’s a rock. A plain, old, boring everyday rock with just a dusting of creeping moss on the side. It’s a scientific fact that a rock will stay a rock, no matter what size, color, or shape it is. It should not have the ability to change freely into a butterfly and flutter away or shift into a beautiful daisy swaying lazily in the breeze. But this little rock did not get mother nature's message. What looks ordinary now has a very special surprise once released from the glass test tube. Whether it’s a cup, a stapler, or even a human being, as soon as it's free of the glassy tomb the stone will immediately mimic the form beside it to perfection. There seems to be no limit to what it can change into and remains a fascinating little piece of magic history. Soul: Gargoyle Soul Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Height: His height varies but whenever Iorek feels threatened for someone's life or his own he will rise up to be taller than his foe. It's quite a daunting sight. Weight: It's hard to say but one could say that Iorek is pretty heavy. Food: For energy and nutrition Reks eats rocks. His favorite kind are the beach rocks that are around his home. Not only because they are easy access but their salty flavor makes his mouth water. Personality: Iorek came to life from the death of a very old, strong, and protective Gargoyle. While in the care of the Maevins it seems the soul that made Iorek is affecting him more and more. While innocent and naive to the world, Iorek is always around his guardians to keep them safe.
✪ He just can't shake the feeling that there is someone in the world who would take delight in harming his family. Whenever in a crowd or at night Iorek stays close and floats high above Tyson and Lillian to look as intimidating as possible while scoping out the area. Iorek blames this behavior solely on instinct. Lillian has yet to tell him about Garg's warning and perhaps something carried over to make Iorek so fearful.
✪ Yet there is more to Iorek than just being a shield for the two Maevins. The young raevan has taken a liking to training his body and mind. Every morning when the children get ready for school and work Iorek can be found down by the beach demolishing whatever he can find. When he was younger he merely would crush large rocks with his fists or seeing how far he could throw them. Now though the raevan has started studying different fighting techniques from old books found around his home. He is a dutiful lad who stays on top of his training. Everyday he holds fiery determination in his eyes.
✪ After realizing just how slow he is with all the weight he needs to carry Iorek has also taken up working on his agility. Iorek can be found flying around his home, the neighborhood, and even between the buildings of Gambino Isle. Perhaps you'll catch a glimpse of his form weaving and darting through the different establishments on the island one day?
✪ Aside from being determined and strong-willed Iorek is a very kind raevan. Although quick to trust and rather naive Iorek seems to have a good grasp of how to react around others. It's taken quite a lot of trial and error not to stutter so much around others but Iorek has begun to take a calm aura when he is around friends and family. Never as anyone ever seen the raevan react poorly or with a bad temper. He is a cool cucumber who just wants to please everyone.
✪ Rather frightened of the strength he possesses Iorek is very gentle when it comes to anything he is given or when it comes in contact with animals, bugs, people, plants, books, and artifacts. Rather than use his whole hand to touch these fragile things Iorek will try and just use one, two, or three fingers. That way he feels it is safer and he won't break anything.
Likes: His family. Rocks. Training. Comic books and the heroes that decorate the pages. His home.
Dislikes: Water. Uncomfortable situations. Failing at some kind of task. Obvious but always true: Cruel humans.
Fears: Aside from any harm coming to the kids or his friends, Reks has a secret fear. Water. Thoughts of sinking and especially drowning haunt his dreams after an incident that took place a few months in of living with the Maevins. Since Iorek's body, the little that he possesses, is composed of rock material the lad is so heavy that if he enters water he sinks just like a...well...like a rock.
The thought of being unable to pull himself out of danger like he normally would on land terrifies him. Water is something he can't control. If Iorek wishes to become stronger, he trains. If he wants to be faster, he practices his flying agility. Yet when placed in water Iorek loses all his abilities. Nothing he has worked towards can save him if in the dark depths of the sea. Strength, agility, and defense means nothing when you're a living paper weight.
Favorite thing at the moment?: The comic books he shares with Tyson. They read them every night before bed.

Strength: 38 - Iorek is one of the strongest freis. He's proud of it and every day works to improve this particular ability. Endurance: 34 - His second highest stat. To illustrate his endurance - Reks can hold up against three baseball bats to the head. Course if he was pushed into a pool the raevan would become as weak as a newborn babe. Intelligence: 22 - Although Lillian has been teaching him how to read, write, history, science, and all the other basic school teachings it takes Iorek longer to understand and remember what he has learned. It is just difficult for him to learn and comprehend things. Creativity: 20 - The raevan suffers from a poor imagination. He needs books and tv to fuel it so rather than make up his own projects the raevan will just copy the ideas of others. A simple macaroni project will take him hours to plan out and then to make. Friendliness: 26 - Although he looks menacing and grisly he's a pretty friendly raevan. Charisma: 16 - When he was younger Iorek was very quiet. Although he did start talking it was always with a stutter attached. He's outgrown that stage in his life but at times Iorek will second guess himself or grow quiet around others because of such a low stat. Humour: 18 - Sure he may know to chuckle now at jokes but Iorek rarely understands them or finds them funny. Never has he laughed genuinely and it can become very awkward when someone tries to make him laugh only to be met either with a blank stare or a sheepish smile. Magic: 18 - So far Reks hasn't shown any magical powers. But there may be something lurking under his skin, just waiting for the right time to be released.

Currently it is on the shorter side but still has a cute boy-ish cut and wave to it. Likes: As a teenager Tyson still seeks a good adventure. He still enjoys sitting and reading comic books with Iorek. It’s taken some effort but he is really beginning to enjoy sciences and engineering at school. Does he have any idea what he might want to do in college? Nope. Slowly but surely he’ll figure it out. Right now there is no rush. Originally, Garg was supposed to just be another piece to add to the mysterious Maevin collection. But as soon as night fell the stone sculpture sprang to life and changed Lillian and Tyson’s lives for the better. A courageous and wise creature, Garg saw it as his duty to shield the children from anything that would harm them. He became a friend, a caretaker, and the protector they needed in a time of uncertainty and fear. Unfortunately he was taken from them all too soon in a peculiar accident that remains unsolved to this day. In the hopes of reviving their companion, Lillian and Tyson collected his soul in the bottle and crossed their fingers they would see their friend again..

Dear Raevan,
Hello there! I know you aren't born yet, but I decided to start making you a scrapbook of what you need to know about your family. Oh! I also have begun to draw what you are missing right now. Well, I hope you like it when you do join the family! You can add to it when you know what you're doing later on.

Okay! This is our family! In it is Lillian who is my big sister and is your's too. I'm in it, and I'll be your big brother! Also there is Marmaduke who is our dog. Oh, I drew you too! But I don't really know what you will look like right now, so I guessed. I forgot to draw in my hamster, but I don't think he'll mind.
Alrighty, another family! These guys aren't in our family though, but they are really nice! You have Eiry and Rivener who are raevans like you with their brothers Aphi and Isi. I don't really know Isi but he and Lil don't get along right now. Rivener and I are becoming friends,(atleast I think so) but Lil doesn't like him because he can be grouchy. I'd watch out just in case. Then there is Eiry, who I don't know too well, but he does love ghost stories that are really scary! Finally there is Aphi! Lil and I really really like him because he is so nice to us, and I know he'll be nice to you too. When you can eat human food, I can gurantee you that you'll absolutely love his cooking!

✪ Rivener Good Friend Iorek's known Rivener and his family since he was little. He hasn't seen Rivener lately but has fond memories of spending time with him. Reks' admires his strength and determination.

Back of the house that leads to the beach. The home that the two children live in rests on Gambino Isle, where glitz and glamour resides. Luckily the siblings have been able to escape the ritzy life of the other civilians since their home rests by the shore on the outskirts of the island. The mansion is secluded from the other residents of the expensive lots and a driveway goes through the iron gates to lead up to house. A beautiful little mansion, it houses every treasure that Lillian and Tyson's parents have found thus far. Traps for security are found everywhere on the yard, in the trees, in the bushes, etc. etc. When it comes to guests, Lillian and Tyson much rather go to the other person's house if they were to get together. Yet if worst comes to worst and someone must enter through the gates, Tyson normally gives them a little map of where the traps can be found and how to avoid them.

The old house that Lillian and Tyson lived in before they moved to Gambino Isle. This was when they were watched by two caretakers and various helpers who worked at the mansion. Lillian's parents for some reason decided to uproot their treasures and children and place them in their current home, which is slightly smaller than the house before. At this house there were no traps set up by the children littering the yard, it was actually pretty peaceful.

An adventurer's heart can never stay in one place for too long.
Not much has been revealed about Lillian and Tyson's parents. Why they are never around is because of their job and they will be returning home in a couple of months.
Months have turned into years, and there's still no sign of Mr. and Mrs. Maevin. Even a trip to find them over several months came up empty handed for the young trio...
Lovely gifts the Maevins have received from friends!
Ghoulia was given to the kids during the Halloween season by their good friend, Alex. Ghoulia is a ghost and not much is known about her. She just drifts around the house and enjoys a round of hide and seek at least once a day.
