This is a private rp between

Ac.Wings & Storei.

Place: Aphismet's house, Durem Caves North
Time: Morning, tuesday
Weather: Summer day, warm, slight cloudiness.

Tyson groaned impatiently as he waited up for Lillian infront of Aphismet's home. They had just gotten there and now Lillian was taking forever paying the cab driver. As the time drawled and his boredom grew, Tyson found relief and a helpful distraction in digging the toe of his right shoe into the ground and humming a quiet tune to himelf.

"Lil....hurry up..." He whined after glancing up in his sister's direction. She was still rummaging through her purse for one last dime that she was missing from the final cost of their cab.

A frown placed itself on Lillian's lips as she listened to her brother's complaint about her nonexistent speed. "Tyson, just a moment...I've almost..." She felt around the bottom of her purse for a moment longer, searching for the coolness of a coin to brush up against a finger at any second now.

By now the cab driver was ready to just tell her to forget the change so he could go on his merry way. He was beginning to tell Lil not to worry about it when the girl suddenly pulled out a dime, the coin she had been looking for. "Here you are, sir. Sorry for the wait!" Lil dropped the coin into the driver's palm before she picked up the plastic bag at her feet and walked over to Tyson.

"We can go in now, Ty." She told the youngster, pushing open the front gate with her free hand and motioning for him to go inside before her.

Lillian closed the gate behind her after they were standing on Aphismet's grassy lawn. The two siblings looked identical in the way they had positioned themselves, both looking up at the mystical house with their heads tilted back in awe.

"It's creepy...." Tyson whispered before his body shook from a sudden shutter.

The older Maevin rested her free hand on the younger's shoulder and led him forward, "It's just a house, come on, Aphi wants to see the superhero and he won't be able to if you don't bring it to him."

As they made their way to the door though, Tyson's feet stopped abruptly as he caught a glimpse of two figures to the side of the house. His heart nearly jumped up his throat and out of his mouth at the thought of who they could only be. "Theives!"

"Eiry, hand me that lavender, would you?" asked a voice. It was the smalled of the two figures, the one sitting on the ground beside a pair of glimmering crutches. The other one, who was now reaching for the lavender was kneeling down as well, except that...He didn't have legs. Instead he had a twirling ribbon that kind of wound up in a spring underneath him.

Handing over the pot, Eiry replied mechanically, "Of course, here you go." Now with that small chore done, Eiry turned his attention back to eating the death in the plants that were withering from either too much water or too much sun exposure.

"Thanks, now if you would stop over watering and killing my plants so you can eat them, perhaps we'd have a decent looking garden that's not half dead and half bursting with life." The sour boy said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Looking up as the sudden figures stepped into view, Isi scrunched his nose in distaste. Huh, Aphi had invited people again and not told him. He really wished that Aphi would tell him these things so he could go out back and hang out in the tree house until they had gone. He never liked visitors...They always asked him questions and tried to help him...Oh well, there was nothing he could do now.

"Hello!" he called, "Are you here to see Aphismet?"

"Tyson...stop overreacting. I think they live here with Aphi." Lillian told the child after he ducked behind her to avoid the other two. Clearly Tyson would've sacrificed his sister and ward off the bad guys rather than see if the figures really were theives.

A short struggle started after Tyson showed that he wasn't about to cast his eyes on the other two. It lasted for only a minute before Lillian tugged Tyson's jittery form infront of her, his battle lost to her strength.

"Hello! And yeah, we're looking for him...are you his brother?" Lil looked the kid over from where she stood once recalling Aphismt saying he had family living with him. "I'm Lillian Maevin and this is my brother, Tyson Maevin."

Still forced to stand infront of Lil it didn't take long for Tyson to realize what exactly it was floating close to the sitting boy. A raevan! This one looked younger than Rivener though and less...mean. Tyson could only guess that he was a kid raevan. A raevan that was more HIS age and less aggressive than the adults like Rivener.

"He failed to mention your coming," Isi said with a forced laugh, then he continued mechanically, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Isikoro Etan Delaran, brother to Aphismet Delan." Isi dusted his dirty hands off on his gardening pants (complete with knee sponges) and carefully brought up his crutches. Pulling himself up, the young boy hobbled over and gave his hand politely in greeting. There was no sense in making enemies off the bat, Isi concluded. They were perfectly good strangers. Perhaps they'd be friends?

Eiry scrunched his nose, sort of irritated for his Isi-time being interrupted, but...Oh well. New people! Putting down the potted plant he was currently trying to replant, Eiry floated up and over to the new comers. He stayed reasonably behind Isi, not willing to put himself out and in front yet. He'd wait for Isi to finish his introductions first and for now he'll stay put and observe...

...Naw.

"I'm Eirdirsceol!" Eiry exploded.

"Eiry! What did I tell you about manners?" Isi said, turning half way to give his frei a scolding glare.

"Otherwise known as Eiry, nice to meet you, pleased, honored, and you?" Eiry corrected happily, undeterred by his owner's scalding look.

"Don't mind him," Isi said, turning back to Lil and giving an apologetic shrug, "He's still fairly new. Only a couple months old."

"It is a pleasure to meet you both." Lillian stated politely with a broad smile. She shook Isi's hand, her grip firm and professional. The two before her she was pleased to see were both very polite and had a suitable charm to them. Yep, they belonged in Aphismet's family alright.

It was like looking in a mirror Tyson concluded as he looked between the young boys and his sister. Isi was just like Lillian he observed. They both introduced themselves well-mannered, poised, and polite. Then without a seconds notice afterwards they turn around and comment on the behaviour of the youngest in their duo.

Lillian shook her head, not minding Eiry's exuberant greeting one bit. "Not to worry, I have my own rascal right..." She patted the air below her with unbeknownst to her for a second was unoccupired.

"Is this your garden?" Tyson asked now crouched in the grass overlooking the various flowers. He had escaped Lillian's grasp while she spoke to Isi long enough to grant him the pleasure of exploring what Isi and Eiry had been up to. "They smell really nice, and there's not a dead one in the whole bunch! How do you do that?"

"Oh boy. Sorry, Isi. Atleast he's standing by the flowers rather than on them this time." Lillian apologized, making her her way over to gather Tyson and lead him back to the front door. The smells and the beautiful sight of fresh and alive flowers which greeted her, she had to admit, was a very pleasant greeting to her senses.

Isi nodded his head and he was about to say, "Likewise", when he startled, and turned around, looking over his shoulder, "Yeah, that's my garden. Be careful there, kid, we have a lot of plants balancing on the planter box." He said, an obvious tenseness in his voice. He really liked to garden and seeing a child near it sort of made him nervous. Isi knew better than to think that this would be a destructive child, though. There are children that have their wits about them still.

"No dead ones, huh, kid?" Isi echoed, as he hobbled forward to stand protectively near his garden, "That's because of Eiry here."

"Yes! I eat them," Eiry proclaimed happily.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt your flowers." Tyson responded to how obvious Isi was protecting his garden from him. "I help Lil in the garden sometimes, and I'm really gentle with the flowers now."

His reassurance to the protective teen ended once Eiry spoke of eating the flowers. Briefly Tyson looked confused before he reminded himself how different the raevans were to him. "Do they taste good?" He questioned as Lil stood beside him quiet and patient thanks to how well Tyson was carrying himself.

Isi nodded and he backed down slightly, letting his hands release their death grip on the handles of his crutches. Alright, so the kid knew something about flowers. That was okay. Isi glanced over at his plants and silently wondered how many he had actually bought from the little old peddler near Deadwood Park. He had just gotten back from feeding Eiry and he was in no rush to go inside and announce his presence to his brother. It was a beautiful day outside.

"Yes! I like the crunchy ones that are the color of tree bark and curled up like fists," Eiry grinned, floating higher and patting imaginary dust off his chest. He bobbed back down lower and drifted slightly with the breeze.

"He eats death from plants," Isi explained exasperatedly, writing down a mental note to teach his raevan how to fully answer questions, "It's because of his essence and soul, really."

Tyson looked behind him, giving the ground one final check before he sat himself down on the fresh green grass. He didn't want to accidently crush a stray flower or bush branch. Isi seemed very touchy about his garden, and Tyson wasn't about to find out how mad he'd get if a single plant was harmed by just a simple wayward accident.

After a free spot was found, the squirt raised his hand and scratched his head to relieve himself of an itch. It only took a second before his eyes were back on Eiry. All he could imagine now was the other gobbling up old and dead fall leaves. What a weird thing to eat....

"So you don't like to eat anything that is alive? Like a nice green vine or a fresh strawberry leaf?" He questioned with a tilt of his head as he began to rock from side to side. "I think they'd be pretty yummy. Ripe and juicy! I haven't tried anything like that before, but humans shouldn't eat stuff like plants unless they are in a edible garden." The tyke added after his imagination took a quick trip as the child thought of what the plants would taste like. Something like a home grown vegetable he guessed, although that was the complete opposite he'd realize if he were to ever take a bite out of a leaf.

Lillian overlooked the garden for a brief moment before she turned her attention back to Isi. "So does this mean that your garden is everlasting? Well, atleast until Eiry stops eating from it?" What a handy little raevan he had! Perhaps they'd get lucky and their raevan would eat the cobwebs or the dust around the house?

"Ew, no!" the minty raevan made a face and ran his tongue under his teeth as if he had tasted something horrible. With the quick shake of his head and hands, the raevan rid himself of the imaginary bad taste and said, "No! Life tastes bad. It's disgusting! I like death, it's sweet and tangy. Sometimes it's sour, but it depends on the plant." Then thoughtfully Eiry announced, "Did you know that because of a german printing error in the dictionary, what was actually called strayberry because strawberry?"

Isi glanced over at his raevan, making a surprised face as Eiry threw out a random piece of info. Well, that was incredibly out of the blue. He had given Eiry a new book to read, 2500 Amazing Facts, and now he was regurgitating everything he read whenever he had the chance. Shaking his head, Isi turned back to Lil and shrugged meekly. "Yeah, pretty much. But Eiry likes to have the garden die before he eats from it and I'm not about to let that happen. I take him to Deadwood Park so he can eat."

Tyson's thoughtful looked changed to that of shock and amazement. His eyes grew to the size of tea cup saucers after Eiry had shared his unusual fact. He didn't laugh it off as silly or accuse Eiry of being weird like numerous children would've. Instead, he sat up straight and stared at Eiry, absolutely amazed.

"Really!? Wow! I didn't know that! Boy, Eiry, you're so smart!" Tyson chirped with enthusiastic praise, "What else do you know?" If the raevan knew that little fact then there must've been countless of other things Eiry was storing in his head. Atleast that was what Tyson figured.

"Someone likes his facts." Lillian mentioned as she too heard Eiry. "He can always come over to our house and eat the dead off our bushes. That'd be a feast for him." She hated to admit it, but her house as well as the plants around it, (not including their garden) needed a makeover. They just hadn't been able to keep up with repairs, the house too big and their schedules too filled. "But Deadwood Park? I remember now, we were going to meet you guys at some point there! I think both our families were too busy for that though."

"Uh..." the young minty raevan paused and thought about it for a while. He had just gotten the book and he didn't know much off the top of his head. He had only read the first two pages. Shrugging his shoulders and floating down lower so he could be eye to eye with Tyson, "I can't remember. I know story. One about hearts, would you like to hear it?"

"Really? That'd be nice. Eiry's making everything in Deadwood park not so dead anymore so I need to find a new place for him to feed...Oh, really? I can't remember that." Isi said, bemused as he adjusted himself on his crutches.

"A story about hearts?" Tyson pondered over hearing his story or saying no and asking about something else. Eiry didn't seem to be the type to tell boring stories...and maybe the hearts went on a rampage and a hero had to stop them? Besides, what did he have to loose?
"Sure!" He scooched closer to Eiry and prepped himself for an exciting story. One with intense action and adventure!

"Anytime you guys feel like coming over just call us. My yard needs some life brought back into it. Um...I don't imagine you'd have any paper on hand with you? Ah, nevermind. I'll just write down the directions to our house and give them to him. Just don't forget to call us and hour or so before you get to our house, okay?" The last part Lil's face was serious, her tone stern to make a point. If they were to have visitors, especially a raevan and a teen with crutches; she'd have to make sure that the yard of their home wasn't littered with any heavy-duty traps. No way was she about to get sued if the kid fell in a ditch or the raevan got hit by a flying log, a long with their safety of course.

The raevan nodded excitedly and opened his hands before Tyson, as if he were a play spreading apart its curtains, "It's my favorite story from Mister Edgar Allen Poe!" Eiry pipped, "It's called "The Tell Tale-Heart"..." And so, Eiry began to recite the tale, word by word, from memory. He had read it over twenty times and he had a habit of reciting it around the house. Retelling it again was no problem for the minty raevan and he swelled and pulled his hands as if they were puppets. When he finished he was shouting and his volume had risen dramatically so that...

"EIRDIRSCEOL!" Isi cried, exasperated. He had been repeating Eiry's name, trying to get him to quiet down for the past two paragraphs, "Really, I'm talking to you. You'd do better to pay attention to me got it?" the boy gently socked Eiry on the head.

Eiry rubbed the spot on his head and grinned widely at Tyson, "Did you like it?"

Turning back to Lil, Isi shrugged pathetically, "I'll get the number and address from Aphi," the boy said, "And no, I won't forget to call. Why so tense all of a sudden?" He was startled. The last part was really stern and uncharacteristic of her. Isi, on the other hand, was curious as to why that and...why they had the same style of hair.

Lillian cast a glance over to the two youngsters as soon as she overheard the name of the story. Maybe that wasn't such a good tale to spin to Tyson. He probably had no idea what it was about, and when he did find out then that meant a whole week of sleeping with lights on. But as Eiry got into the story, Tyson was pulled into it too quickly for her to retrieve him. If she didn't want an arguement, all Lillian could do was just sit back and wait for the ending.

Just as she thought, Tyson's stare of disbelief meant he was too far gone to be pulled out of the story anytime soon. The way Eiry presented it, how the minty frei gestured his hands and moved his upper half while telling the story entranced the tyke to no end. His imagination flourished with each sentence that fell from Eiry's lips.

The child clutched the grass or his jeans at various parts of the story once it had gotten onto the path of scarey stories. When the protagonist killed the old man and cut him up and hid him under the floor boards, Tyson had a fistful of grass in one hand; and in his other hand he had wadded up his jeans. What was happening to the characters was gruesome! It made his stomach tickle and do loop-d-loops as they crossed over suspenseful or nasty areas.

Questions that many teens and adults would laugh at flooded Tyson's brain in record timing. Could they have someones body parts hidden under their floorboards like they psycho had done in the book? If so, how would they know? Would someone's heart begin thumping in the middle of the night and drive them mad? If that happened, and they were insane afterwards, they still wouldn't find the body bits.

Tyson remained seated, his full attention on Eiry. The only thing that had snapped him out of his concentration was Isi's sudden shout. Unlike his other cries for the raevan beforehand, this one sounded very serious to just brush aside.

Once the other was disciplined, Tyson got back into their conversation lickety spilt. "I did like it." He smiled at Eiry before not forgetting to ask, "That can't happen in real life....right?" Yep, he was scared all right.

Lil looked back to Isi, allowing the boys their "fun" if you could call it that. She had been looking him over while he spoke to his raevan. Why did the kid look like someone she knew? This was her first time meeting him too. Maybe it was the hair? Maybe he looked like...

The teenager's eyes widened while she finished the process of placing Isi to a face. That face was hers! Why hadn't she seen it before? They both had similar hairstyles. Although why on Gaia would the boy want a girl's style? It just was weird in Lil's books.

"Who said I was tense?" She asked as she studied the way Isi made his hair. He too flared out the ends...copycat. "I just want to make sure you don't forget!" Alright, so that may have been a lame answer but Lil didn't bother thinking of a better one. If Isi questioned her anymore, she'd change the subject to his hair and if he got it done the exact same place she did.
