Averus Ikaru
Averus looked at Shun as he spoke about the information he had learned about himself, about how a large wolf had attacked him, and said that this is ‘What I am now’. The words ran deep into Averus’ mind, something he was surprised at when he thought about it. He had never put much thought into himself, outside of training and gaining knowledge for a future he was looking to obtain. Yet, hearing Shun speak about his changes and how this is the truth of himself, it was as if something woke up inside Averus, something that had been dormant and hidden away.
It was a question, a question he had not dared asked since he first came to the village. A memory of a child being led by a group of shinobi came to him, his first time he had come here to start a new life. He stood at the entrance of the village, looked down at his small hand, and the question came to mind; What. Am. I? Simple, yet it ran deep into his psyche. He had such fear to the possible answer that Averus had somehow buried it deep into his memories, yet seeing his comrades now changing seemingly overnight had brought it from the depths of his mind to the surface. He ran a hand through his hair, turning a little in the direction that Shun had looked at.
What was he? Averus had never put stock into looking into it since he had unconsciously buried the question. The only answers that started to come to mind was Experiment, and Test Subject, both grim answers.
Hearing Takera point out the fact that he had eaten and was looking at his mouth, Averus snapped back to reality and wiped his mouth with the back of his gloved hand. “Ah, yes I did not know how long the two of you might be, so I grabbed something to eat. Well, how about we head out toward somewhere quiet? Perhaps we should head to a library, perhaps there will be documents or scrolls to help you two out in understanding more about your new abilities, or potential ones?”
Averus took a look between the two, and attempted to see if he could understand their changes more. His eye twitched as he looked between them, and felt that their chakra was indeed different. He could not really describe it all that much, as he could not actually see their chakra, yet when he looked at them he got a feeling of how different they were now. A small shiver ran up his spine, and he felt like someone was watching again.
This time the group of hooded figures were no longer together, though one was now alone as they began to walk toward the group. Shun would actually smell the others not too far away, though one by one the smells would disappear, but not before he could count there was at least four others, besides the one that was walking the street.

Shun eyed the vibrant white skin of Takera's hand and raised a brow at it, rather curious about it. He wondered if it had something to do with the sudden scent change Takera had undergone, but he would work to figure that out later. Shun stood and listened to Takera speak all the while he looked around in order to test his senses a little more. Even though he had thought he should leave it to rest, but something inside of him itched to attempt to fully obtain a grasp of his newfound power. He took a sniff of the air, more specifically around Averus. "Bacon... Egg... Cheese... on a biscuit." Shun grinned just a little before he shrugged his shoulders. "I would not be against going somewhere... the smell of all of this food is making me hungry..." The smells still overpowered him slightly, but he tracked the majority of them down to their location in the marketplace. The smell of various meats and spices that were roasting on fire pits seemed to make him drool out of hunger. He wondered if this new obsession with meat was due to his new change, but he was not completely sure. Deep down he could feel something inside of him wanting to claw out of him, to take control and run rampart. What did he do to me... Shun grit his teeth, his eyes closing as he focused and suppressed the growing feeling. Shun was about to step forward in the direction that Takera pointed but immediately stopped and sniffed the air. A low growl emitted from his throat as he looked in the direction of the hooded figure that was coming towards them. He could smell the others that were not entirely too far away, but his most immediate concern was the scent that was coming toward them. "We have company... we need to move... there are too many people here... too many people could get hurt... Library..."--------- Meanwhile... -------- "Hahahahahahaha... go." The monstrous wolf commanded a second wolf that sat beside him; this wolf was much smaller than him, but he was similar in nature except he was all black. The wolf howled just loud enough that Shun could hear it followed up by an even louder howl from the larger wolf beside him. The secondary beast took off from their location on a rooftop, heading toward his destination - to his new master. The monstrous wolf stepped forward, almost disappearing from sight before reappearing in a silent approach behind one of the hooded figures with a twisted grin across his muzzle. This is going to be fun... He licked his lips as he stood and waited for the more opportune time to strike. The beast had been tracking Shun since his attack on the boy last night, he could smell everything and everyone who was inside of the city. Anything unfamiliar to him or seemed different than the normal scents from Kumogakure he made an immediate note of. He was living up to the promise he had given his master, the boy's mother than he would protect Shun but also train him when the time became right. While he sat there he remembered that night clearly as if it had just happened yesterday. Both Shun and his pup, Sha, had been born at the same time and seemed to have some unnatural link to one another. Shun would not have sensed this because his father sealed his bloodline, providing that only Zarathos could awaken it when he deemed appropriate. He had not found Shun until a few years ago, but he decided to not approach him until last night. The wolf had been watching him grow to be both an intelligent ninja, but also one who lacked commitment and dedication. He felt both of those properties would be failings for the boy and kept a watch to see if he would improve at all. It frustrated him the more the child became careless, but he saw something in him the day before. A potential when he had felt him move and attack without hesitation. It intrigued him. Perhaps this was the best time to awaken him, force him to adapt to the animal-like instincts that would be coursing through his blood. They seemed to prove useful now with how he was being followed and discern threats that would approach them. It will be certainly fun to break the boy and mold him into a monster...hahahaha.. Zarathos thought to himself as he resumed waiting for his chance to strike. He began to wonder how much fear he would invoke in the young shinobi if he appeared before him again. This thought excited him thoroughly.

Takera stared in surprise as Shun began to recite the names of food that he picked up through his sense of smell coming from Averus. He chuckled heartily upon hearing "..on a biscuit." Takera remained silent, picking up on the tension within the group. Averus seemed to losing focus in his own thoughts while Shun showed signs of frustration and perhaps, for a moment, a small sense of fear.
Takera turned out of habit to glance around the area. Simply surveying the area around himself, otherwise known as being vigilant, was ingrained within his character, and often times gave him an edge in dire situations. There were very feint sounds of food preparation. Anything from the rumble of fruit landing in a stack to the sizzle of grilled foods being freshly prepared in the open to draw in customers. All in all, the market seemed to almost be bustling. Takera's eyes glanced along the crowd gathering along the street when suddenly Shun began to emit what almost seemed like a low growl. Takera let a hint of a smile escape his lips before Shun spoke of a presence in the area making a B line for them that carried an unfamiliar scent. Takera returned his vision to the crowds behind them. His eyes gazed through with haste from person to person with great speed, looking specifically for a particular characteristic among them. He passed the sight only for half a second before his eyes bounced back to it. Through the far side of the crowd, a similar hooded figure was slowly advancing toward them. The person's face concealed from that distance. "I can see him. He's still a ways off behind the crowd. I'm with Shun. We need to move." Takera whispered back to both of them. Takera turned to move with the rest of them making sure to keep an eye out for the pursuer and any other suspicious people that might be hanging around on the path ahead.

Averus Ikaru
Averus looked in surprise at Shun, who began to name off the food he had just eaten for breakfast. In a way, it sort of spooked him that he got all that from just smell. “Impressive…” Averus spoke to him, his eyes slightly wide. “Well then, lets…” Before Averus could finish his sentence, he heard the growl that came from Shun’s throat, and he looked even more surprised, before hearing that they had company. Averus took a quick look around his surroundings, and though his eye twitched slightly in the direction Takera mentioned, he was sure that things were more than they appeared. Averus turned his head to Takera, nodding. “Let’s head toward the library, but if we can we have to avoid crowds and people.”
Averus began to wonder if this was some kind of test setup again by Shyn and the other shinobi like before. Yet, the fact that Shun had let out a low growl meant otherwise. This was an enemy, an unknown factor to the village that seemed bent on...well, at the moment approaching them. Though he was curious to know more, Averus knew that they had to keep moving, walking with his comrades toward the library. “We must be careful, best to let them think we are unaware of them till we are in a better position” Averus advised his friends as they walked.
Meanwhile, the hooded and cloaked figure kept his normal pace as they walked behind the crowd, yet never picking up the pace, and keeping their eyes set on the three man team. It was clear to anyone that this was someone dangerous, almost an air of bloodlust came off of the cloaked figure. The very crowd he hid behind instinctively stayed a few feet ahead of them, yet didn’t seem to notice him either. The other four that had left and hidden themselves were on the move still, and Zarathos wouldn’t find it all too difficult to find them, as well as the other, younger wolf.
The hooded figure lifted a hand, wrapped in black bandages, up to their hood, moving into it as if to touch their ear. “Target and group are on the move. Lin, set the Net, and ready the Dome as well for when it is time. Grant, Orsai, Grimm, ready to move on my mark, watch for any problems as well.” Then the figure dropped their hand down to the side again, and continued to follow the group. “This will be an interesting job. A dog child, a cursed boy, and a kid with stitches.” The figure continued their approach, keeping at a careful distance.
Once the group had arrived at the Library, Averus looked back a little, and saw that the hooded figure had followed them, but then turned down a street corner and into an alley. A moment later, Shun and the wolves would lose all sense of smell, as well as everything else, as the hooded figure seemed to disappear. The other four were not hard to find again, but something would smell very off around the area. Buildings seemed to radiate with a smell of string and a earthy, mud smell.
Averus looked around once more, before looking toward the entrance of the Library. “It should be rather empty inside, save for the librarian, at this time of the day. Once inside, we need to be ready.” Averus spoke softly for only the two to hear. The Library itself was a two story building, two large wooden doors framed in iron was the entrance, several windows that were closed shut with wooden shudders.
Averus walked up with the group to the entrance, opening the door for them to enter, then closed it behind them. The entrance hall was that of a small hallway, an open archway that led to a circle desk with a single woman sitting behind the counter. She seemed to be reading a scroll, waving a hand in greeting. Past her, there was rows of tables and shelves of books near the walls, a bit more open so that many people can sit and read in peace. Several staircases went upstairs, where all the walls were lines with shelves of books.
It was at this point that two hooded figures stood on the rooftop of the library. One was shorter and cloaked, the other was the hooded figure from before who had somehow made it to the top. Both made no movement, and seemed to be waiting.

Shun could almost feel his beast-like tendencies come out, as if he were going to attack those intruding on his home and yet he held back in heed of Averus' advice. He could smell out the most appropriate path as they moved and guided them on their way, making sure to steer clear of crowds of others. He began to wonder why the guards had not done anything to stop these intruders unless they were either taken out, replaced or they had a way of entering the village without anyone noticing. Shun had heard the howls, recognizing one of them but the second one made him wonder. He seemed slightly frightened, but shook it off. He needed to keep his head in the game at this point. Once they arrived and entered the library, Shun immediately noticed the two other figures on the rooftop. "Rooftop... two bodies." Shun said in a low voice as he waved to the librarian before walking up to her, both of his hands set on the counter. "Excuse me... I'm trying to find a specific scroll on the Inuzuka clan..." Shun knew exactly where the scroll was, he had mapped the entire library out from the entrance all the way to the upper floors. When the librarian set the scroll down she was reading and turned to point in the direction he needed to go, Shun quickly struck a point on her neck that immediately knocked her out cold. He leapt over the counter and caught her, placing her over his shoulder as he slipped into her office. The boy set her inside of a large steel cabinet, locking it before stepping out of the office and grinned at Takera and Averus. He knew this was no time for him to step into his more lethargic ways, in fact he seemed to be more energized than before. It was an odd feeling. Zarathos continued to pad quietly behind the figure that had been communicating with the others. He could sense the blood lust radiating off of the man, but that didn't seem to bother him. The crowd effectively ignored him, he took full advantage of the blood lust he spewed in order to navigate behind him. If the figure knew that he was following him, then he was most likely being led into a 'trap' but he also knew that he could most likely react much faster than him. The younger wolf was padding through the streets quickly, following Shun's scent before reaching the library. He gazed up at the rooftop and growled before pounding away at the ground, slamming through the doorway and into the library to seek out Shun.

Upon hearing Averus' mention of the Library, Takera moved in tow with the group glancing back only enough to catch those behind him in his peripherals while still keeping an eye on the various openings around them. It wasn't long before they would reach the Library. At a passing glance back Takera had noticed the cloaked figure split down an alley way. Takera returned his focus to the entrance of the Library where Averus had moved to open the doors for them. Just then as he passed through the door, a feint additional creaking occurred, hidden within the sound of the doors fully opening for them. Takera looked up toward the ceiling in passing before turning around to face the door way that Averus was now closing up.
He calmed himself for a moment listening as Shun warned them of the two people on top of the roof before he moved over to the Librarian at the main desk. Takera turned to watch Shun as he requested a book on the 'Inuzuka' clan, but in the moment that the Librarian was most vulnerable, Shun spiked her with a senbon in such a way as to knock her out. Takera looked along the book shelves strewn across the room, glancing from point to point, whether it be windows or areas not clearly survey-able from his position. He gathered a mental note of the layout of the Library. He took notice of Shun grinning at them both and turned back to Averus.
"Beyond the one who followed up and the two sitting, hopefully idle, on the roof. How much do we even know about the threat?" Takera inquired between the three of them. "Further of that, it seems clear they haven't run into any opposition from the guards, but stealthing into another country's military base isn't something that one might normally find easy. I hope this isn't another one of our teachers' pranks." Takera exclaimed his unease with the situation. He crossed his arms slowly keeping his senses on alert as he moved away from the two of them. He happened to notice a section of books close by and became mildly curious after prior endeavors at his home. He moved over the shelving, remaining just out of sight from some of the entry points of the room as he glanced over the titles of the books. Reaching the second row he happened upon a book title that caught his attention. He reached out and pulled the book by the top of it's binding back from the rest before pulling it free of the rest. He turned the book's opening to face up and cracked the book open to it's table of contents.

Averus Ikaru
“Why can I not just blow this whole building up? We take out the target, as well as the extra’s, then leave. Simple, easy, and I can test out the few jutsu’s I created for this kind of reason.”
These words were spoken by one of the two on the roof of the library, a short, robed person who stood about four feet tall. The other was clearly taller, robed as well, at least over six feet tall. The taller person pulled the hood down off of their head, taking a moment to sigh as they turned. It was a man, middle aged, with a scruffy beard on his face. His hair was up in a tall pony-tail, a deep brown as he had a scar over the left side of his face, clearly a deep cut that had healed a bit poorly over the years.
“Think of it like this. If the plan goes to hell because of either the shinobi of this village getting past the defenses, or somehow the brats beneath us are stronger than our reports, then I am sure the boss will let you blow this place up, Lin.”
Lin removed the hood from their head, revealing a young girl's face underneath. She had a light, blond and short hair, a bit messy as it was clear she had no real care for it. Scars ran around her neck a little, what appeared to be burn marks. A grin was on her face as she looked at the older man. “You do have a point, Grimm. Now, guess I should get to work. Think Orsai will be fine going in?”
“My apprentice and Grant will be fine, Lin. If anything, this will be a test for them both.” Grimm spoke as he looked out toward the rest of the roof tops of the village. The bait they had placed before entering wouldn’t distract the shinobi for long, and he was sure others were already aware of their presence. Grimm wondered what the boss was doing at the moment, as Orsai and Grant were going to enter this library at any moment….
---
Inside the library, Averus watched as Shun dealt with the librarian and had her moved to a safer location, and listened as Takera took the moment to ask a few vital questions. “Yeah, I agree. Who ever these people are, they are skilled and dangerous. The fact that the guards and other shinobi haven’t caught on to them yet could mean something is terribly wrong. Or, if they are aware, this group must have some means of keeping them at bay. We need to be careful, but if this is some kind of test or not, we better be ready for whatever they have planned.”
Averus looked as Shun grinned a little, unsure if it was just nerves or if Shun was ready to test himself. He shrugged, then watched as Takera took the moment to walk along the shelves of books. He took the time as well to look around, though taking in how things might be. The windows around the room were either blocked or closed, shades drawn to keep out most of the sunlight. Lights and candles were lit around the room, as well as chandeliers hang from the ceiling to bring more light to those who wanted to read the various books and scrolls that were open to the public. Near the back of the first floor was a locked door with several locks on it, most likely the forbidden section Averus thought to himself. Several long tables were around with chairs, and several large open paths around the bookshelves and tables meant plenty of space.
Averus looked up toward the handful of stairs that went to the second floor, mostly open space with a railing that was the second floor and more bookshelves. This meant they could have a height advantage if needed as well, if they had the chance to do long range attacks. The real question now was just how their enemy was going to approach them.
----
Back outside the building, the hooded person in robes like the others walked along the streets. The figure did not turn their head to notice the large wolf that had been following them, most likely due to their inability to hide the bloodlust that surrounded them. The hooded figure continued to walk along the streets before turning down an alleyway that was a dead end. Once the reached the wall, they stood still, awaiting the wolf to approach from any direction as they turned around to look down toward the street. Pulling the hood back, the person revealed a strange masked helmet that covered their whole head. It was a bluish-black color, with two slitted eye holes in them, and a few tiny slots to let the wearer breath.
“Well, what are you waiting for? Come, there is no need to hesitate.” A deep, male voice came from under the mask, their hands moving out from their sides in an open gesture.
-----
A loud knock came from the doors of the library, followed by a long silence. Averus turned toward the door, looking back to his comrades to see if they too had heard the knock. A few seconds passed, then minutes began to tick by. Finally, there was a loud crash as the door was sent flying into the front desk. Two figures slowly began to approach the now wrecked front desk. One was a very large person, clearly a man as the robe could hardly hide his physique. The other was a smaller man, whose hood was now down, and soon the large man removed his robes and dropped them on the ground. The larger man was shaved on his head, a stern looking man with a shinobi vest fit to his size, his arms large with tattoos of various kinds all over them. The smaller person was younger, looking like the same age as Averus, Takera, and Shun. He had a very angry look, the hilt of a sword sticking out of the opening of his ropes. As he adjusted himself once the two stood, the sound of jangling metal could be heard underneath the robes.
The two stayed silent as they looked between the three, before the larger man looked down at the smaller young man. “There was no need for you to destroy the door, Orsai. We could have just walked in and closed it behind us.”
The smaller man spat on the ground, a ‘hmmph’ coming from him, but not answering his large comrade. The large man looked over toward the three, Averus now having backed up a little to be closer to Shun and Takera. “Apologies if that scared you, I did try to stop Orsai from kicking the door down. I would like to start things a bit more civil before we get on with what we are here to do. Now, introductions. My name is Grant, and before you might tell me yours, might I ask who…” Grant stopped for a moment as he reached into the pocket of his ninja vest, pulling out a small notepad. He flipped it over and looked through each page before looking up again. “...Takera is?”

Zarathos continued to follow the man even when he stepped into the alley with the dead end. Fool... The large wolf stopped the moment the man turned around and pulled the hood back. He watched him for a moment and seemed to cackle into a howl. "Oh, of course not... however you are quite a fool... you should never have stepped into my territory... Time to let loose." Zarathos seemed to twist his head slightly as his body became much more feral in nature, his expression, his eyes, even the tone of his growls had deepened. The large beast unleashed his own bloodlust, dwarfing that of the man by tenfold as he cackled and stepped forward toward the man slowly at first. It only took a moment and Zarathos was upon him, teeth and fangs bared to crush his throat. ----- Shun stared at the wolf who padded over to him and pressed his muzzle into the pant leg of the shinobi, looking up to him and barked. It was strange... Shun did not seem to understand who this wolf was, but just a moment later he seemed to understand what the beast was saying. He could smell the scent of Zarathos on Sha, which almost made him wonder if this was that same wolf. He almost had backed away, but stopped when the scent of another came into question from the animal. It seemed much more friendlier than the other one and he had heard the second howl. He reached down to lightly pet the wolf hound before nodding slightly. "Alright.. I understand." Sha barked again before immediately turning toward the doors when the blew open and slammed into the front desk. Shun watched as the figures stepped into the room, raising an eyebrow at the difference in both of them. Even when the man had removed his robs, he did not seem very surprised but narrowed his eyes to examine the tattoos. His eyes shifted over to the other man, mostly noticing he was their age and the sword that stuck out of the opening of his robes. "Takera? Takera is dead... he died last night. Poisoned... the poor man..." Shun stepped forward in his approach, his hands behind his back as he twirled the senbon he had used against the librarian between his fingers. "I'm Shun, the lovely gentleman wrapped in bandages is Averus and the other one is Takito, my eldest brother who returned home just last night!" He doubted that they would believe him, he was mostly just trying to talk in order to give Averus and Takera time to formulate a plan. "You see he is a great writer... he writes very perverse books... our father is very disappointed in him for being such a terrible son... even I am disappointed in him... I wanted to follow in his footsteps! Become a writer of pornographic content! It was my dream!" A small surge of lightning left his fingertips, starting to hum through the steel senbon.

As Takera flipped through the book slowly, taking a vested interest in some of the content strewn through the book, he happened to catch sight of the small wolf padding down the stairs until he was low enough that he became concealed by the book cases resting right in the way of Takera's line of sight. Takera tilted his head lightly, a look of confusion over taking his neutral expression. Takera poked his head just out past the edge of the book case to watch as the small wolf made it's way over to Shun. It nudged his leg with a general since of compassion. Nothing seemed strange about the wolf aside from the setting, but even so something else felt out of place. In that moment a loud knock echo'd through the library. Takera quickly closed the book and made a quick sign to his side. A form of himself came into shape just before him, and he slipped back through the bookcases to the other end where he ducked down the back aisle. The clone took a few steps forward in position to block sight behind him during that brief moment.
The doors burst open, smashing into the desk. The two robed strangers entered the Library and began to reveal themselves. One was a tall, bald, and large man. The sound of bells echo'd out from his waist in the spacious open setting. The other was more down to the size of the younger Shun and Averus respectively while brandishing what appeared to be the hilt of a sword. Takera slipped back through the far side of the Library out of sight, giving him room to survey the situation and act accordingly. The clone remained completely still, standing in a direction that otherwise split the duo's attention now between the three of them, Takera's clone being the farthest as he was little more than 2 book shelf's space from the wall the main door was connected to. He had almost believed that he would have a distinct advantage for his position, but then Shun began to speak as he moved closer to the two. The clone focused upon the two while listening to Shun's words. He listened as Shun told the duo he had died. As far as bluffs and time bought, the idea was sounding alright, but how would he address Takera still being in the room physically? It was then that Shun's carrying on of the story took a strange turn, as he claimed that Takera was an elder brother of his named 'Takito', who also happened to be a famous 'family shaming' author of pornographic titles. Takera couldn't help but feel as if maybe this was a little too far stretched. ..Hunh? Takera thought as Shun brought his story to a climactic end, all the while brandishing the senbon behind his back.
Takera took a deep breath, almost sighing as he exhaled. He shrugged raising his hands in a similar fashion to compliment the shrug. "It's true. There's no use hiding it, I suppose. You see, I try not to use my status too frequently with others as my reputation for the perverse arts has garnered a lot of negative attention from the regular day-to-day folk. You understand, I'm sure." Takera said in a whimsical tone, letting his arms fold together behind his back as he took a few steps out from the book shelves towards them, but remained strongly at distance from them. "You see this fine bandaged young man here with us today? Yes? He would be one of my few fans, and subsequently my biggest fan. Surely you didn't think those bandages were for show, did you?" Takera said in a whimsical tone as he winked at them and gave a light jesture of nudging despite the distance between them. "You wouldn't happen to be fans of mine, would you? Looking for an autograph, perhaps? But, I must warn you. Even the autograph tends to be a bit.. perverse." He followed up, still carrying the whimsical tone of voice.

Averus Ikaru
The masked man looked at the large wolf that entered the alley with him, tilting his head a little as the beast began to change his demeanour into that of something far more feral in nature, feeling the wave of bloodlust that could crush their own. However, the man did not flinch, nor did the masked man even attempt to jump out of the way. As the teeth dug into the man’s shoulder and neck, Zarathos would get a sudden taste of metal and dirt, as if the body itself was made of clay.
“Fool I might be, but not foolish enough to walk into enemy territory without a plan. I do apologize, as I would prefer to face you with honor, but for now I hope you can at least wait it out here in this cage. Lin, create the cage”
A moment later, the walls of the alley morphed and changed rather rapidly, and faster than the wind long thin spikes began to shoot out from wall to wall, yet never approaching close enough to Zarathos and the now melting masked man. A ceiling formed like spider tendrils of silk, and the wolf would be entrapped with a small cell. If Zarathos sniffed the spikes, he would smell the stench of chakra inside them, and a dangerous, volatile one at that.
-------
Averus looked at the two men who stood at the remains of the front desk, and ask for Takera. He stayed silent, looking over at the clone that had approached, but had no real idea that it was a clone. Hearing the words Shun spoke, he almost wanted to start laughing rather hard at that, and wondered what Takera was thinking of when he started to hear that as well. Then he heard Takera also start to play along with the idea of him being the older brother who had a rather perverted nature.
“Yes, a fan who has a strange allure toward the works of the great man, this pioneer of innovation, this connoisseur of the writings of pleasure. I am...but a peon to his majesty” Averus hammed it up as best he could, but he was seriously going to punch someone if he had to drag himself into the mud like this. Though, he knew it was just for show, and that the fact they were looking for Takera meant they were here to clearly do damage and harm to him. Averus looked over toward Takera and Shun, then back to the man who called himself Grant. “So, less you are here for a signing, perhaps you should leave? The librarian does not take kindly to visitors who bust down the door.”
Grant looked between them all, and Orsai spat on the ground again, clearly not being amused by any of what they had been saying. Grant raised a meaty hand to his chin and rubbed it, looking down at his notepad as if he was reading a few lines from it.
“Strange. If that really is a classy writer of the perverse arts, then perhaps you know of Kyen Melon, writers of ‘Slime of the Life’? I hear she has a wonderful series of lust novels, all of them well known to any who would aspire to such skill?”
Grant spoke to them as he looked up with a gleam in his eye, while Orsai was looking a bit dumbstruck to that line of reasoning.
“Thing is, if you are not Takera, then you clearly look rather alike, from how you dress to the eyes, to the color of hair, height, body size. Almost as if you are a complete copy of the actual Takera”
Grant spoke as he put the notepad back into his small pocket on his vest. “Look, we have been doing this kind of things for a good long time, and know when someone is either lying to us, or just making a fool of themselves. So, how about we act like men here and act honestly?”
---------
Grimm and Lin stood still on the roof of the building, and Grimm held a gloved finger to his ear. He nodded, then turned his head toward the girl who had finished with a one handed seal she had been holding. “Boss says its time”
Lin had a devilish grin on her face at that, then put both hands together. Lines of chakra began to appear around the building of the library, as well as several other buildings that had been surrounding it, as well as the streets. Moments later there was shouts as citizens were scrambling as spikes of earth began to jump out around where the lines were, jabbing into other walls and streets as it created a sort of cage around the area, much like earlier in the alley.

Zarathos spat on the ground, growling when all he tasted was metal and dirt. A clone!? Damnit! The wolfhound was about to launch himself away when he noticed the walls morphing and shifting into a cave while the man melted away. The beast was about to break the bars when he caught a scent of them, reeling back and stood in the cage while growling loudly. "You will die before you walk out of this village... I will personally hunt each and every one of you down the moment I escape from this cage."Zarathos howled loudly as he sat in there waiting, biding his time as his anger and bloodlust continued to grow without check. The moment he was free from this cage, he would chase every last one of them and eat them alive no matter how long it took. Vengeance was his strength and they were just another group to be added to the evergrowing list. ---- "Aye... she is going to beat you both with a stapler when she finds out it was both of you who broke the door down.... she loved that door..." Shun grinned a little as he continued to twirl the senbon a little faster between his fingers, working it fast enough that a very low humming sound could be heard from behind him. He looked over to Grant when he began to discuss Kyen Melon and made a rather shifty look before he pulled his free hand out from behind him. He unclasped the buttons on his jacket and opened it, displaying the latest volumes from Kyen Melon and even a few unreleased volumes. "Limited edition versions... has all of the extra juicy bits inside... and in color." Shun grinned over at Grant, effectively ignoring Orsai before he stepped a little closer to them. He knew that his plan was not meant to deter them in any way, shape or form, it was mostly him just panning for information and to delay the inevitable. "I suppose you are right... if you are interested in one of these volumes... I can hook you up later... I might even be able to get you a copy of their latest book... currently unreleased." He winked over to Grant before he just stood there with a grin across his face as his expression shifted immediately to a deadpan one. "That is truly Takera. What do you want with him?"

Takera (Clone) watched on between the two in the door way and Shun beside him, listening for Averus just behind himself and Shun. The comedy routine began to thicken as Averus joined in on the skit, and Shun took things a step farther. As Shun's coat swung open to reveal a plethora of writing material, Takera's (Clone) head tilted back a mixture of surprise and bamboozlement overtaking his expression. "How long have you been hiding this from me?!" Takera (Clone) whimsically questioned as his expression changed to match the setting.
In that moment their attention was redirected to Orsai and Grant standing before them. Orsai proceeded to spit on the floor. Takera's (Clone) shoulders tensed up ever so lightly. Grant seemed to have mild amusement with their shenanigans, but chose quickly to bring them to an end in revealing that they could easily see through it. That's when Takera (Clone) noticed a discrepancy in the man's statement. 'from how you dress'? Takera (Clone) thought to himself. Takera (Clone) turned his head lightly as he heard Shun spill the beans, confessing that it was Takera standing with them. He seemed to be reaching a point of seriousness. Takera (Clone) scoffed as he relaxed his shoulders, his body having a broader definition than it had in the past. "As men? Then maybe it's about high time you man'd up and taught Fido here," Takera (Clone) pointed to Orsai, the cocky shorter individual beside Grant. "that it's rude to drool on the floor. --And, give me some credit. The style might be generally the same, but my attire is entirely new, and it comes with a surprise or two--of that I guarantee." Takera (Clone) said, his expression darkening ever so gradually as he stared the two down. He could hear a thrashing noise coming from outside, which sparked the thought of Shun's earlier remark stating that two were above them.
--------------------------------------
Takera was crouched back in the corner left side of the Library out of sight between some book cases. He slowly advanced to the window between a bookcase facing out from the wall and another on the opposite wall in the corner. A little ways out was Zarathos caught in a cage. Takera's eyes widened as he glanced around to see strands of earth breaking free from the ground and encompassing the buildings like a cage. He slipped down under the window sill sure that no one had seen him from the outside. This looks bad. We're caged inside and Zarathos is locked away. Takera thought to himself. He took a deep, but steady breath to clear his mind while doing his best to make no noise. Ideas began to foster in his mind as he sat quietly, all the while the conversation heating up with the invaders and his team.

Averus Ikaru
Averus looked at Shun with a mix of surprise and contempt, close to just losing it and breaking out into endless laughter. He stifled the laughter, however, as he could tell the aura in the room changed from one of jokes and giggles, to a deadly serious tone. He looked to Takera Clone, and smiled at how everyone seems to be picking on the clothes that he seems to be wearing all the time. He turned his attention, however, to the sounds that seemed to be coming outside, muffled by the walls. The only real reason Averus could hear it was because the doors to the library were laying underneath the large feet of Grant.
Orsai looked at Takera, frowning as he moved a hand to the hilt of his weapon, but Grant moved a large, meaty fist out in front of him, then looked at the three young men in front of them.
“Surprises I do hope you will need, boy. However, I will give you one chance. Surrender to us, and we will allow these two to leave alive. If you are all not aware, this area is under our control. No one will get in, or out, without the boss’ permission. If you wish to fight, and I do not blame you if you choose to, we will kill you.”
Grant frowned now, as he looked at the three, particularly Takera, though he moved in a position that made it clear he was ready for a fight to start. Orsai turned slightly, his left shoulder toward the group now, and his cloak moved enough to show that there was some kind of layered armor underneath, and a katana at his side. His hand was still on the hilt, also clear he was ready for combat.

Shun just shot a grin over to Takera before he closed his coat and buttoned it back up. He seemed to step up forward again one hand behind his back twirling the lightning infused shaft of metal while the other remained at his side, but it looked as if he was rolling something between his fingertips. The boy stopped just a few feet away from both Grant and Orsai. "You know it's rude right..? Coming into someone else's home to make demands... but we might let you have Takera. However..." He moved the arm that held the senbon out, flipping it between two of his fingers as the lightning dissipated and the piece of metal disappeared down the sleeve of his coat. "I know of two men who could get inside... one of them would outright destroy the entire Library just to get in.. but considering the chaos being caused in the city he is most likely dealing with that..."A small line of water seemed to advance from the bottom of his heel, sprouting backwards very slowly toward Averus and the clone of Takera. It would snake it's way toward the section where the forbidden scrolls were held. "But I feel that it would better serve us if we speak plainly without weapons... no one needs to die or get injured here. If your 'boss' wishes to obtain Takera without some cliche battle happening, it would be best for us to sit down and talk... I can tell that.." Shun pointed one finger over at Grant. "You can appreciate the fine arts... do you really want to destroy all of these great works over one measly ninja? Seems like a waste if you ask me... so why don't we all just calm down and relax... tell me what you want with Takera.. what makes a Genin so valuable to this boss of yours?"
