Similarly he would be unaware of the next wave of Lifeless that were coming his way. His attention would solely be on the squirming man that he had pinned to the ground before him. That was until the scroll went up in the air...
Eyes wide, Sai would let his gaze follow the arc of the toss. It was close... way to close... Was the b*****d trying to take him out as well?
"Tch.." Resisting the urge to dig the scimitar deeper into the Bishop, Sai would lean forward to take a dagger from the robes of the man before turning to rush towards the entrance of the Citadel. It wasn't that far away but neither was the scroll...
~*~
It wasn't that big of a scroll. A glossy black parchment, normally tied tight by a single purple string that was currently missing. It was by no means an inconspicuous object but in the middle of a battle of close to a thousand soldiers, it was as good as invisible.
Head over tail it would spin in the air, unraveling as it did. It would be just a few moments, moments that felt like hours to those who watched the scroll fly, before it made it to the highest point of it's arc... just above the battlefield, wide open without the string to hold it together anymore, a bright blue light erupts from the scroll making it hard to look directly at.
It would draw the attention of all the rebels for a fatal moment. The Lifeless, unphased, would continue to press on and slaughter the opposing enemy army in an efficient push. The scroll forgotten as it flutters to the ground to be stomped over and forgotten.
~*~
The remaining rebel soldiers try to muster their defenses up again but their numbers have been spread to thin, Asliah knows this is a futile attempt... their commander has been seen fleeing, their general gone since the beginning of the battle, and the strange soldier that had been occupying the Bishop has fled as well. The woman knows they have been forgotten and their morale has dropped. She sees some soldiers have turned to flee from her corner of her eye, 'Cowards..' she thinks but they are struck down mercilessly by the Lifeless and she still feels a pang of regret. Someone could have survived this maddening battle.
Asliah moves with the remaining soldiers to close their defenses and protect each other, these few are prepared to fight to the bitter end. She does not spare a single thought is for the bright light a moment ago. Not a moment can be spared to question why, despite the closeness of battle and the heat of fighting so fervently, is it so cold. Several soldiers are shivering but it's dismissed as fear, obvious fear. She understands their fear, she feels it. She shivers as well. The Lifeless are slowing down, their movements are becoming more lethargic as they swing to kill soldier after soldier. She takes this for the adrenaline in her veins, slowing the world down for her, keeping her alive... but why is she so tired? She shakes her head to shake the weariness. She is to tired to continue questioning.
Eyes forward. Determined. Asliah defends. She hacks. She returns back to formation. Prepare for the next wave. It is all that her life is at this moment. At this moment a blade is coming for her head. Her shield was not raised. She doesn't have the time to raise it yet. The edge of the blade is dirty with blood and grime, the gore of it's victims. It is held by a desiccated hand. The hand is attached to an arm that is slashed in several places, the whiteness of the bone underneath showing clearly. She wants to move out of the way but she can't. She is frozen in place by her fear... the blade is coming closer, so tortuously slow. It inches closer bit by bit, each movement a fraction held in time for a moment too long... She can't close her eyes at this point, she is going to greet death with her eyes open... The blade is just a fraction away from slicing her clean in half... so close. So...
~*~
For any who were watching the battle from a safe distance, they would have seen what happened next.
The scroll that had fluttered to the ground would freeze on contact. Tendrils of mist would spread out from it rapidly. They would reach out to whatever was close by; the floor, the Lifeless, Rebels, fallen objects, discarded weapons, everything. It would take no longer than a breath for whatever was touched to freeze as well. In total it was only seven breaths. Seven breaths for the entirety of the two armies to be caught and frozen. Seven small moments for the battlefield to become frozen statues, the tendrils freezing at the end to make it appear as though the scene was etched in the center of a flower.
A moment frozen forever...
"...Shatter..."
..forever has ended.
The ice cracks. The frozen statues within the flower shatter and it spreads from the inside out. Until all that is left is flakes of ice flickering in the air. Spreading out and falling down in a gentle mist. The battle is done and the soldiers are gone. Nothing is left. Even the steps and floor in front of the citadel have been destroyed revealing the hard earth ground beneath.
~*~
Except their is one monster left.
Bishop Havarseth stands at the top of the destroyed stairs. The left side of his face is raw from where the ice had touched him. From the temple to eye, down to his chin and throat, the skin is gone and the muscle and bone beneath can be seen. No blood flows. One of his arms are completely gone; the right one, from the shoulder down. The remaining shoulder hangs limp, blood flows from a wound at his shoulder. He's forearm and down is missing. His robes are covered in a light sheet of ice, hiding the black color of them beneath a blue-ish white coating. Dust and mist float around his legs, obscuring them from view.
He is glaring out at the battlefield through his lone good eye. An anguished cry rips from his lips and he staggers forward. The sound of a crystal can be heard and the man drops to his knees, throwing his bad but only arm out to catch himself. Painfully he falls all the way down unable to stop himself.
Rolling onto his back, he stairs up at the Citadel, a single tear rolls down the good side of his cheek. The building is just as badly destroyed as his body.
His legs can be seen frozen, still standing where he had been a moment ago. A coarse and pained laugh leaves his lips as he lays there, waiting for the end...

Shinken caught sight of the scroll as it was tossed into the midst of the raging battle. When it flashed into a bright light he knew something was wrong. He didn't know where it had come from but he knew it was bad news. As soon as he felt the temperature dropping and his movement's becoming sluggish he began to channel his fire nature Chakra into his limbs to keep them warm as he dashed as far away from the source of the light as he could. When he finally felt himself warming up he turned back to the battle and quickly wished he hadn't. The young Genin watched as the bodies of hundreds of soldiers froze and shattered. It might have been beautiful if it weren't such a horrific loss of life. Thankfully the bishop suffered as well and even as he tumbled down the stairs Shinken was moving to intercept him. When the young ninja reached his target he looked the man straight in his one functioning eye.
"In the name of justice, for the Irikura, and all the people you've killed. For all the men you turned into monsters. I pronounce judgement on you. The sentence is death...But not before I send you to hell." Shinken growled as he activated one of his nastiest genjutsu on the bishop. The man would feel trapped in an eternal darkness with only his own immolating flesh to fill his senses. As he did this Shinken drove his stolen blade through the man's sternum piercing his heart. His dying moments would feel like eons in that genjutsu, and it was still better than he deserved. The young genin watched the man cough up the last of the air in his lungs, before spitting on the corpse and beginning to walk toward the now crumbling citadel.

  Takera watched on. His expectations were immediately shattered as the temperature began to slowly decrease around them. His eye widened as a mist rolled over the steps toward them. The very steps themselves freezing solid as it encroached. It drew closer and closer to them by the second. Takera hesitated to move from their spot, a mighty chill running down his spine. There was something eerily familiar about this. The mist slowed as it come upon them. It stopped just dead of the last step.
A cracking noise began to stream out from the steps going all the way up and echoing out from the top. All at once the steps exploded into tons of frozen dust and small chunks. Takera reared to the side, Zarathos turning as Takera hunkered over and shielded his and Zarathos's head from the debris raining down over them. Things began to grow eerily quiet. As Takera lowered his shield, he glanced upon the broken steps ahead leading to the top. A light mist faintly covering the path ahead. Takera glanced over to Averus, his heart beginning to grow heavy under his thoughts of what they might find. "..Let's go up and see what happened. The bishop may still be alive and we still need to find Sai and Shun." Takera heaved a heavy breath as Zarathos turned and they took off back up the crumbled path towards the top. Sha carried Averus staying closely behind.
As the two reached the peak, Takera could see the battlefield as it was. The very ground itself had been blow apart into icy dust and chunks. Partial bodies and pieces laid about over the battle field, portions of icy powder blanketed the battlefield. Immediately Takera's mind jumped back to a time where this very carnage took place upon his prior comrades at Sai's hands. It only served to worsen the feeling--to make his heart that much heavier at what he had just done. He paused as he stared along the battlefield. At the far end stood Shinken looking down upon what appeared to be the badly beaten Bishop. The wolves carrying the two moved up slowly around to Shinken's left side, their presence could be heard from their arrival on the steps. Takera kicked his leg over the wolf and set down onto the ground beside Zarathos.
Takera glanced over at the Bishop's corpse as he slowly walked up, his shield hanging on his right arm, his armor dusty from the icy debris. The Bishop's body was an absolute mess. Only one of his eyes was even recognizable, his arm was completely missing beyond a horrendously blown apart stump. Both legs frozen solid, the damage was done. Takera turned his head only slightly, keeping the core of Shinken's body in his peripherals. He seemed fine despite having been in the center of the chaos. "It's good to see we're not the only ones who came out of this." Takera's thoughts returned to the bishop laying before them. "Strange, how peaceful he looks despite his body being so torn and battered. I'm going to take his body with us. We'll leave you to whatever means you still seek here, if any." Takera nodded to Shinken before leaning down and grabbing hold of the body slowly. He hoisted the Bishop's body up and rested it over Zarathos's back, before hopping up as well. He reached back tight gripped the clothing over the Bishop's chest to steady him. With a final glance back to Shinken, Takera nodded and the two wolves took off towards the main opening to the rest of the Citadel that Sai had escaped through.
They passed through the next section reaching the opening to the next section and slowing to a hault just before it. Takera glanced into the clear distance before they could hear a sudden burst coming from far behind them towards Shinken's direction. Too far off to see anything or tell what it was, Takera unmounted Zarathos and pulled the Bishop's body free slowly and carefully. He propped the man's broken body up against the wall. He looked back at Averus. "It's up to you if you want to stay or go on in search of that." Takera noted the item Averus was meant to retrieve. "This is the closest we may get to it." Takera finished before returning his sight to the Bishop. The man's one good eye slowly opened up, his vision becoming clear, but his body in shambles, unable to do anything more than speak. Takera leaned back into a sitting position and stared upon the man's face. "It would seem we both failed as leaders this day." Takera spoke with a heavy heart. "I reached you too late. The most I could do was grant us a little bit of time. You'll begin to slip away in a while. The wounds were far too great for me to handle in my shape." Takera added on, not giving any specific details to the fact that he had done so through their prolonged contact on the ride over with the life energy of his purity form. Takera heaved a heavy sigh. "..Was it all worth it in the end?" Takera inquired.

Averus Ikaru
Averus groaned after regained him composure from the attack he had endured, looking now to see that Takera had landed not too far as he had originally thought. Looking at the direction that he had last seen Shinken, he gritted his teeth as he brushed himself off before looking over to Takera. He nodded, as it was best to get out now while the boss of this whole ordeal was distracted. Moving quickly and keeping low, as well as out of sight, Averus slowly made his way with Takera right to Sha and Zarathos. Averus was glad to see that these two were alright after all this time, but he knew it was no time to talk when in the middle of a battle. He looked as Takera noted the small scroll he held, and Averus wanted to ask just where he had gotten that. But, as Takera held his fingers up, he got ready to jump on one of the wolves.
Averus yelped after he jumped onto Zarathos, and the wolf made long leaps down the stairs. He turned his head back just in time to see a mist now coming out of where the scroll had been tossed into, and saw as the mist itself brought the cold touch of death to everything it touched. He panicked, afraid that it was going to catch them, but soon the great wolf leapt out of the way into safety, and averus had to take a moment to take a deep breath.
Now safe, he looked back just as the Bishop falls, his army gone and destroyed. Averus sighed a little, but then looked around again for Shinken, hoping the young man was alright after that whole ordeal.
“Right....give me a minute”, Averus responded to Takera on his question of wanting to either leave, or go into the citadel to find the object he was after. Sha brought him over with Takera, and he looked up toward the crumbling citadel. He knew it would be dangerous going into there, both the fact that it was basically a ruin about to collapse into rubble, and that the guards inside would be holding fast to secure their ruin.
He weighed the pro’s and con’s of the mission, and then made a decision. Having Sha bring him closer, Averus pointed toward the citadel to indicate what he had decided on, looking at the body of the bishop and wondering what Takera was interested with the half-dead corpse.

Quote: Coming in after Mercer's post. Michio emerged from the entrance in a leap and landing in a crouched position, his blood coils unraveling from his hands and swirling, ready to attack anything that came at him. But then he saw that all of the Lifeless were on the floor in a manner that their name suggested; lifeless. He glanced around and the tendrils receded, retreating back into his fingernails and into his bloodstream. He spotted Shinken from a distance and smiled before approaching him with a smug look on his face. "You look like you've seen better days, kiddo." he called to his teammate.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As Haikyo rushed through into the entrance of the citadel, he was greeted with a macabre scene at best. The armies lay dead in the front of the structure--frozen in place, or broken to pieces all across the ground. The man, however, who interested him most, was the b*****d priest who some man had just skewered with a sword. Apparently they had something against him as well...which was not hard to understand, considering Haikyo had learned first hand exactly what kind of monster the man was. But, the worst part of it all...the thing that made his damn heart sink, was the man who was standing there with his dagger. Sai had run toward the entrance as he was escaping the ice bomb, which put him directly in front of Haikyo in all of his trench coated glory.
"So, before you go ahead and tell me how big of a s**t I am for letting him have that, I will have you know that b*****d force-pushed me on a stone slab and tortured me for it. So, let's let bygones be bygones and just say that it was unavoidable, yeah?" Haikyo stated, with a hint of humor and a hint of shame to his voice. He knew that the dagger was supposed to be one of his most prized possessions...so the fact that it had managed to be taken from him for a second time was less than ideal. He could only hope that Sai wasn't too pissed off about it. "What in the world happened out here? Did you do all of this?" Seeing he ravaged corpse of the bishop not too far away gave him a sense of satisfaction...the man looked like he had suffered. That's all that mattered.
UltimaMercer Exit to Holy Citadel Ruins Turning to the sound of Haikyo and Juugo approaching, Sai raises a brow at the sight of the boys. It was clearly visible that both had gone through hell the past few days, he was amazed to see they were even standing with the wounds they currently suffered. What he wasn't sure of was why Haikyo was so oddly dressed. "That b*****d?" The man repeated, turning back in time to see Takera carrying the body of the Bishop. "Ah. Him. To be honest, I thought he had killed you when I saw this." He raised the dagger to eye level, handing it back to Haikyo. Shrugging he lets his gaze fall to his own clothing. He was covered in the bodily gore of both the Lifeless and Rebels alike but no wounds were on him himself. "I might have lost my temper a bit... but no, well yes, but no I didn't do all this. Technically it was one of my personal toys that did this but I wasn't the one to do it. He was." The man states, gesturing towards Takera who was currently sitting beside the Bishop.
Frowning he turns to face Takera, stopping only as Averus walks past them to enter the Citadel."I would not suggest doing that... That building is going to fall down any minute now." He warns. Due to the vacancy of the area his voice travels as does all of the other sounds in the immediate area.
"Don't wonder off to far, boys. We'll be leaving this city momentary as soon as I wrap up my business here." Sai notes to Haikyo and Juugo before walking to Takera. Crouching down before the Bishops body, he reaches with a slender hand to life the chin of the man, staring into his vacant eyes. For a moment he clenches his jaw, the muscles of his neck visibly straining before a sigh passes from his lips and he relaxes. His drops away and he looks to Takera. "Sorry to say but whatever you were hoping to get from this man..." He trails off for a moment, his eyes closing for a moment as he takes a large breath. Letting it out, he lets himself sit down. The oddity of the scene is not lost on him and he smiles to himself. "You effectively ruined his life's work, congrats."
He lets the words hang in the air for a moment before continuing, "He wasn't always such a twisted man, believe it or not. Ambitious, arrogant but he was always aspiring to improve this city that he loved. I'm sure he still thought he was..."
Shinken was about to respond to Michio when the man who had been fighting the bishop spoke up about what had happened. So the scroll had been thrown by the supposed general of the Rebels? The man wasn't worthy of the title of soldier if he would so readily sacrifice his entire army. In fact Shinken felt his anger rising up in his chest and took a step towards Takera.
"You son of a b***h...You killed everyone under your command? What did they mean to you? Nothing?! They were people with families! They had wives and sons and daughters! You threw their lives away what? because you were scared? You're just as bad as the Bishop!" The young Uchiha snarled as he balled his hands into fists.
"Michio...You wanna have some fun? I've got a target for your rage. General I'm sending you to hell." Shinken spat as he pointed towards Takera.
Michio watched as Shinken began to fly off the hande at a man a short distance away from them and then asked Michio if he wanted to jump in on the fun. He look between the man, who looked far worse for wear than either Michio or Shinken, to his teammate and then smiled. "I think you've got this, buddy. Two versus one isn't really my style." he replied, looking around. He found a dead person somewhere far and away and snuck off while everyone was paying attention to Shinken and Takera or to their own conversations. He removed the pants and boots from the man and carried them to Haikyo. "Hey, you might want these. The other guy won't have any use for 'em." he said, turning and watching the scene unfold. His money was on Shinken.
Juugou emerged from the citadel to a scene of icebound carnage atop the stairs. There were corpses of lifeless and an unidentified army littered all over the place, and it seemed as if someone had summoned forth an avalanche from nowhere. What in tarnation happened here?! he wondered, looking around speechlessly with eyes wide in awe. There were too many people to treat for wounds, and most of them lay motionless already so Juugou averted his gaze and looked down at the floor. The young Aburame did a double take when he noticed Sai standing not too far from them. The man was covered in blood virtually from head to toe, which made him stand out more than the others in the area. Haikyo began recounting bits of his story to Sai in an attempt to make him understand why he had lost possession of the dagger that the latter had returned to him. Sai had stated that he ha thought that Haikyo had gotten killed when he saw the weapon in the hands of someone else, and the way he said it got Juugou wondering what the connection between the two of then was. Eventually after explaining the nature of the events that had transpired and his role in them, Sai told Haikyo and Juugou not to stray too far since they would be leaving soon and went over to sit with another one of the survivors, who was carrying the corpse of the former bishop around. However things began to get heated again when someone who knew Michio began to get angry at the man sitting next to Sai for killing all the men under his command with the ice technique, and asked Michio wanted to join him in beating up the man responsible. Michio declined and walked some distance away to strip a corpse of its pants and boots before joining Juugou and Haikyo and giving the Yomi the clothes to put on. "Thanks for getting him the clothes, man. I would've done it myself but i didn't want to risk anymore random objects falling on our heads." He also turned to see the situation play out. The army's general seemed to be in worse physical condition but he still was seated next to Sai, who despite being covered in blood was unharmed. Then again the man was unpredictable so there was no telling what would happen.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Haikyo was surprised that Sai hadn't taken the time to tell him off for losing he thing...I guess it was easy enough for Sai to understand why Haikyo wouldn't have been able to hold onto that dagger. The Bishop...as much as Haikyo didn't want to admit it to himself...was so much stronger than he had been. Had the fights he had been through thus far not strengthened him at all? "Well...he didn't kill me, the damn wardrobe almost did, though..." Haikyo muttered under his breath, more just pissed off with himself than anything. Sai stated that they would be moving from the city, as soon as he had wrapped up some business he had yet to finish, and Haikyo merely nodded. Haikyo watched as Sai spoke of the Bishop and, as he stated that he wasn't always a twisted man.
"Ambition can make monsters of us all." Haikyo spoke up, his voice trailing off on the wind like a long lost secret hung on it. He took a deep breath in as he looked around the battlefield, and he shook his head. He heard the commotion begin as a man spoke about Michio and his apparent 'rage' which Haikyo had yet to--okay, not really yet to see...he had been struck down by the man in an instant for pushing him. Michio instead ended up bringing him some clothes, and Haikyo nodded to him in thanks as he pulled on the pants and then the boots, in a rush. "Sorry Juugou. I have a lot to tell you...but it has to wait for now." He said with a nod. Then, he walked forward, even in his exhausted, battered state, and he stopped between Shinken and Takera. He looked Shinken in the eyes as he stood there--though he did not know the man. "There is no honor in striking down a defeated man. Sometimes...the greatest justice that you can hand down...is forcing them to live with what they have done. Murdering the people that you served as their leader...this man will be in far more pain than you could ever deal to him. This is over, shinobi...let it be." Haikyo stated. He was not threatening or menacing...he could not be. He could barely ******** stand, let alone fight off the ninja, if he so decided Takera deserved to die.

"Oi!" Michio called to Haikyo after he had delivered his speech. "I don't think standing between that guy and his target is a good idea, man. I've seen what he does when he's pissed off, and if you keep getting in his way it won't end well. You'd be wishing to meet the wardrobe again!"He sort of wanted to see how far Shinken had come as far as facing other people. He and Shinken had trained for the last four months, so he knew the Uchiha's combat capabilities as well as he would know a brother's personality, but he had never actually seen Shinken in action. Every mission they had ever gone on always ended up with them separated from one another. "Besides, if that b*****d really did turn on his own people and just used this guy-" and at that he pointed at Sai "-as the weapon to wipe them all out, he's undeserving of any mercy. He's no better than the Bishop who brought all of these dead warriors back from the dead and kept them from receiving their eternal rest. Let the coward have a trial by combat."

  Takera watched on as the Bishop seemingly came alive again, but then faded as if his soul were missing, or rather broken. Takera let go, the energy that was maintaining the man's physical body dissipated and he slipped off once more. Takera released a heavy sigh, but just then, as he zoned back into his surroundings, Sai leaned in to examine the Bishop. Unexpectedly Sai took a large breath before plopping down beside him. His body covered in the blood of the soldiers. Takera felt strangely more at ease as Sai told him that they were responsible for the Bishop's work coming to an end. A weak smile spread slowly across his mouth as he head hung a little. It wasn't the tragedy sparking the feeling, but rather the reliable unyielding cold wit that seemed iconic to Sai. Takera felt grounded, free of the surreal feeling, but still buried in the weight of his own fatigue and the mental exhaustion caused by his guilt. Averus leaned in handing off the sack of Jakattas he had brought with him to Takera and relaying his decision to go on ahead for their final objective. Sha and Averus then headed off into the Citadel and out of sight. Takera stowed the Jakattas in his armor with his own not sure of what use they would be in the current situation.
Sai gave a tidbit of information, seemingly almost uncharacteristically, about the Bishop. A different light in which to view the dead man done in by Sai's, Takera's, and Shinken's hands collaboratively. "We sit here covered in blood, an ice cold graveyard behind us. I can't help but feel as if we were infact the twisted ones.. acting upon a man more devoted to this city than we may know." Takera posed the concept, but knew that only he currently knew the truth. "..If you knew about the Bishop, how come you allowed things to take this turn?" Takera inquired upon Sai, his expression still sullen as his head raised.
Not but a moment after Takera asked his question did a certain unfriendly draw near. Takera could hear the steps as he had drawn a little closer to them. Takera turned and stood up seeing Shinkin only a little ways off coming towards them. "We've got an issue. I'm going to take Zarathos and get out of here for now. You haven't forgotten our deal, have you?" Takera expressed in a low whisper close enough for only Sai to hear / make out. Just then another individual from amongst the four in sight stepped in the way of Shinkin's path trying to reason with him. Takera's eyes widened a little as he noticed that this person was only just barely standing on a thread. Takera took in a deep breath, and turned--throwing his leg over as he mounted Zarathos once more. The wolf stood up all at once, balancing Takera's weight for a second as he adjusted. Takera spoke to the man in warm voice reminiscent of how his brother would always speak to him. "I appreciate your efforts. I won't forget this." Takera said, as a tired smile crossed his lips, though no one could see it through his helmet. He leaned in as Zarathos turned and ran at an arc far out to the side, he was careful to ensure that Takera and himself stayed completely out of their reach as he flew by the rest of the group.
As they passed, Takera overheard Michio beginning to badmouth him. "It's best not to judge a book by it's cover." Takera spoke out to him in a normal voice while passing, his volume lowering as distance formed between them. Zarathos sped forth and leapt before reaching the main steps, the two disappeared over the steps and into the distance.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Haikyo looked around the group of them, and as Takera mounted his large wolf, he spoke to Haikyo in thanks, before the massive animal bounded away. He looked to the other shinobi in the area, glad that no battle broke out before they had a chance to actually relax, or leave this damned place. He looked at Sai and Juugou and he nodded to them with a small smile. "Alright, guys...I am getting...out of this place...forever. Seriously...for. ********. Ever. Lets meet back up in Fire Country, if you don't plan on coming with." He stated, giving one last look at the city, flipping it the god damn bird, and turning on his heel. He didn't want to be anywhere near this place ever again. But...he had learned more than he ever would have if it had not happened. He had learned what torture was. What pain was. He was prepared for it...if it came for him once more.
Michio raised an eyebrow at Takera as he ran away from the challenge and snickered. "Reading the book and the first chapter's title says.... 'I'm a cowardly b***h'." He threw up a middle finger in the direction of the coward's retreat before walking over to Shinken. "I'll see you back home, buddy." and with that he ran to the exit, up and down walls, and made his trek back to his village, hoping that he wouldn't have to explain too much to the Kazekage.
