The priestess looked as if she was about to begin wailing yet again when another priest, this one elderly but spry, broke through the crowd and struck her across the back the head with a lofty tome. Turning to the crowd he shooed them away, insisting there no show here to be seen. Finally he turned to look at the monk before him and frowned deeply. "You there. Pardon this fool of a girl. She has a habit of being spooked by her own shadow.." The man said as he helped her to his feet and glared at her for a moment before looking back at the monk. "You look as if you are here for a pilgrimage. I'm Gaveth, a devout priest of the Seven. I was just about to return to the Holy Citadel, you are welcome to join us." With a bow from both of them, they turned and made their way back to the Holy Citadel.

Shun nodded graciously to the master, handing him a pouch with the retainer fee of 2,000 Jakatas, made up of his own remaining fees and part of Takera’s, inside before he bowed and stepped to his cart. He grabbed the horses by the reigns and lead them back to the location they had gotten for themselves. A heavy sigh escaped his lips once they had arrived with Takera and Averus. The male walked over to his traveling companions, specifically looking Averus in the eye. ”I am sorry that I tried to sell you off… but it was for our goal… if I had not pushed so hard we may have been able to garner information from him… and ally here in this market, but now I feel we have only made an enemy.”Zarathos and Sha both wandered opposite sides of our soon to be built stand and laid down as a way to outline how far we could go and to keep people away, most would be relatively fearful of such large beasts. ”Let us get started… we need to start selling or I will be taking from both of your Jakatas to keep us going.” He withdrew the tarp from the cart and began to unload the crates of goods they had been carrying, storing them near the back of the location. He purposely separated the vials that Averus and Takera had filled, knowing one would not be toxic until he shifted back to his other form. Shun whistled and Zarathos sauntered over, laying beside them to watch over them. He wandered back over to the cart and began to assist Averus and Takera with unloading their building supplies. They had opted to go a rather simple setup as opposed to something elaborate; four poles in every corner securely set into the ground with tables set around three sides of the stall. During their work to set up the stall, Shun had scribbled a message on part of a torn scroll, handing it off to Takera. It came to my attention that it would seem the people here do not like the Malazans, so if they are indeed in the city they must be in a place… not in the city. I remember there mention of a mine in the city somewhere… take a satchel of goods and Sha with you. Whistle for him when you are leaving. Shun resumed his duties as he laid out a rather elegant rug on the ground within their location, giving them a place to sit and rest if need be. He could feel himself getting rather tired, but the effects of hunger were starting to whittle him down. The male grabbed his pack and set it down on one of the tables, pulling out three wrapped sweet buns. He handed each one to Takera and Averus before taking his own and downed it in a few bites. ”Mmn.. delicious.”He knew it wasn’t much, but it could saite him until he finished setting the supplies up. He setup three tall stands behind him and began to fill each one with fabrics of varying colors. On the left side of the stand varying dried meats from venison, beef and chicken hung on display with what was for sale wrapped underneath them to keep them relatively fresh with canteens of water set in rows between them. Located on the right side of the stand he had set the five crates up at an angle with two filled with small, inexpensive wooden toys, the other two with various bags of candy and the final one had bags of candied nuts. Shun wiped his brow before he brought over the crates containing their healing tonic and alcohol sold side by side, he specifically left the crates containing Averus’ chakra in the back of their shop. Once everything seemed to be set in a way that would attract people of varying ages, he worked with Takera to write the signs for their items. He made an obvious note on the sign containing the tonic that if taken while drunk it would sober you up faster, allowing you to drink even more. It was in that moment that it hit him when he looked over to Averus and then Zarathos. He can talk… he is bandaged… perhaps maintaining this enemy was not as bad as I thought.. Shun whistled, beckoning Zarathos over from his sleeping location as he placed a hand onto Averus’ shoulders. ”You my friend will make us millions of Jakatas.” Shun grinned wildly without really thinking of the phrasing of his statement before he withdrew three stools from their cart and set them up behind the counters they created. Zarathos sat behind the counter as he was large enough to be seen with most of his upper body and head sticking out from above the counter. Shun led Averus over to one of the stools next to Zarathos, making him sit down before he grabbed a sign and began to scribble upon it. Zarathos, the ama~zing talking wolfhound! He set the sign up in front of their stall before he took a position in front of it. The male took a deep breath as he looked up into the sky, noticing that it was getting later and they had barely just opened the shop. This is bad… hopefully the night market is as busy as during the day. Shun cleared his throat and began to speak, expelling a rather loud voice to the crowd. ”Come one, come all! Be amazed at the talking wolfhound, the ama~zing Zarathos!” He purposely emphasized the word ‘amazing’, grinning as he looked over to see the utter look of disgust and hatred coming from the beast. You… You will pay for this humiliation, Shun… I will end you. Zarathos growled for a moment before he looked out in the market. ”Greetings, travelers… I am Zarathos! Come take a look at our items and buy something! We have all sorts of goods!” He howled loudly, not entirely sure what to say or do… especially since he was being exploited in a way that was non-violent, something that he was not entirely used to.

Despite the market slowly closing up a few passing Arens look into the shop out of curiosity. A handful of them enter and buy some goods, smiling and chuckling at what they assumed was a cute and elaborate prop. A few people come in simply to touch and pet the wolfhound, pulling on it's ears and cheeks while laughing. A baby is brought in to sit on it's head for the parents amusement, they buy several products before leaving.
You come away with 2,500 Jakatas within a short amount of time. An EXTREMELY lucky draw of fortune.
You notice that towards the end the Master of Commerce strolls pass the shop and gives it a pointed stare. You have drawn his attention.

Shun noticed that even the market was starting to slow itself, people had still come to visit his shop to see the plan he had come up with. He was thankful most of them thought it was a prop, but could properly discern others away from the actual truth - that Zarathos could actually speak. This was the main reason why he had Averus sitting next to him, working as a fake ventriloquist to fool the crowd itself. Shun gladly assisted those who came through to purchase goods while greeting all who entered, even if they were only there to play with the wolfhound. He kept his ears open for any talk between the people coming and going, wondering if he would hear of anything that could be useful. Zarathos seemed rather irked at first when people came to jeer and touch him, which almost made him snap and bark at them, but he knew that would cost them. Oh you will dearly pay for this, Shun… The wolfhound suddenly changed his demeanor and happy yipped to those who pet him, licking their hands in a friendly manner. Even when the baby was sat upon his head Zarathos gladly kept the child and parents entertained as he paraded around the shop. Once they had left the dog stared over at Shun who was just standing there with a grin on his face, counting the Jakatas they had made. 2,500 Jakatas in such a short amount of time… hopefully we can keep this up and we will not end up in the red… He bagged the coins in his pouch and placed it into the sack that hung over his shoulder before he sat himself down beside Averus and Zarathos who was now laying on the sprawled out rug. ”We had a fairly good haul for our first day… I am rather surprised we had so well.” Shun sighed rather heavily as he caught movement from in front of the shop, looking forward and seeing the Master of Commerce had strolled by and was looking into the shop. Shun held himself back from shuddering as he bowed his head in respect to him.

As she made her way into the market place Nisha looked around the market, taking in the sights of the market as it had switched for work in the evening with the increase in lantern lights brightening the area, most of the stores didn't really catch her attention as she was ether too young to enter them, or didn't have anything interesting for her as she had already eaten and was full at the moment, however something did catch her eye, it was a huge building that seemed to stand out of the rest of the area, it was the Holy Citadel, Nisha smiled and made her way around the market to the Holy Citadel. As Nisha made her way around the market place she would hear from some of the bars and eating places with outdoor area, people talking about the events that had been happening today, the capture of Leoman and the others who had been brought with him, she didn't catch any names about them but she said to herself that she should ask when she talks to someone, she had learned about Leoman from that group she had spoken too just after he had been brought before the Citadel, with that in mind she finally reach the area outside the Citadel and took a moment to look up at it, and then around at the stores near it. Spotting a older gentleman who reminded her of her grandfather, had a cart that seemed to be filled with scroll and books, he seem to be packing up but due to his age was slow, Nisha made her way over them him, and stood near him so he would notice she was there, and as he looked over at the young girls wearing a robe style outfit, Nisha cocked her head. "Hello, I was wondering if I could look at yours books and scrolls, and would you like some help?". Nisha said as she stood there waiting for a reply.

Takera's expression melted from one of confidence, and his shouldered slouched down as the merchant only grew more dissatisfied with them after Takera's proposal. He went so far as to proposition that Takera be dragged up into the deal and unveiled yet another vial that was producing the disgusting smell that was hanging around them. Takera cringed at the thought, but he was drawing a complete blank on the subject of finding a way out of this mess. Why did things have to go wrong at such a critical point? Takera thought to himself. He watched as Shun took the second vial from the man. A pitted feeling began developing in his stomach. No part of him wanted any part of whatever was in that vial. He happened to notice in that very moment that Shun was caught up in contemplation of something. It wasn't easy to spot, but sometimes there were slight tell tale signs in the way he responded or gestured that showed his attention was more invested in thought than what was actually being said or going on around them. Takera immediately resumed focus upon the Master Merchant trying to keep the heinous merchant's attention. The sounds of a girl screaming 'RAPE' could be heard off in the distance when suddenly the two wolves started going wild and rough housing around by the cart nearby.
Only a moment passed before Shun had suddenly distributed the vials to Averus and himself. He let go of Averus, stuffing the bottle of their product in his back pocket before clasping the bottle offered with both hands. He realized almost immediately from his angle and the lack of smell that it wasn't the merchant's vial. Oh, you beautiful beast, Shun. Takera thought to himself as he pressed his thumb on the cap of the bottle. Just then the merchant chimed in with his change of interest. The head merchant took another shot at Takera and Averus. Just you wait, you repugnant little pig. This doesn't end here... Takera thought as he raised a hand to tug on Averus's shoulder before turning to walk back to the cart. As they reached the cart Takera leaned over close to Averus and whispered. "That was a close one. Sorry about messing things up.."
Takera sighed and shook his head as he walked up along the cart. Once they were back in position at the vendor spot, he began plucking boxes and materials from the cart to help setup the spot, laying them close to their intended display spots. Takera heard some rustling near him as he looked up to see Shun unpacking some snacks. He handed one to Takera. In all the excitment and disappointment he'd been too caught up to realize he was hungry. His stomache growled lightly. With an awkward smile he gave a polite half bow and took the snack, hastily removing the wrapper and discarding it before tearing away bite after bite into the sweet bun. Later during setup work, as he brushed past Shun, a note was passed to him casually. The note revealed information Shun salvaged from their interaction with the head merchant. It seemed as though the town had a great disliking for the Malazans and if they were in the city, it would probably be somewhere out of sight. The suggestion was for Takera to investigate the mines. Takera immediately scooped up his bag from the back of the cart. He dug through a couple of crates laying out a few vials worth of purified liquer and water as well as some random supplies. He left behind all the sign creation materials for the others to work with and slung his newly packed bag over his shoulder.
Takera patted Averus on the back as he passed by giving him a nod and a wave to signal his leaving. He flipped his hood up over his head and whistled for Sha on his way out. He had only made it maybe fifty feet down the road before he happened to catch sight of something on a nearby vendor's table. Takera walked up slowly as to get a better idea of what the item was. As he came closer he noticed it was a netted bag of marbles. The marbles looked pristine and well kept with very fanciful designs unique to each one. Takera glanced up to spot the merchant hastily packing up. It seemed as if something was wrong, but he was not quite sure what. Clearing his throat, he placed a cusped hand to his mouth. "Ahem. ..Hello? If it's not too much trouble, I was wondering if maybe I could purchase this bag of marbles from you? Would 50-100 Jakatas be alright?" Takera propositioned raising a brow as he watched hopeful for a positive response.

The merchant had his back to Takera when he approached, he had been packing up for the night. "One second, sir." The merchant said, bending behind the counter to retrieve a parcel. "Hm? Marbles?" The voice of the merchant changed dramatically, taking on a whimsical note as the man stood back up. His features were shadowed but a wolfish grin could clearly be seen.
A touch to Takera's should would prompt him to turn around. The space he found himself was no longer the market but a frozen wasteland. Spikes of ice were littered every where he could see, blood staining most. Should Takera choose to come closer to one he would notice a figures frozen within each spike. A wind would whistle and howl, threatening to rip him to shreds with it's icy claws, the sound of a voice would call to him from it. As Takera walks among the spikes are the faces of friends and comrades long killed in a faraway land. With each step the voice becomes louder and louder until finally Takera finds himself in front of a spike that shows his own face.. 'Shatter'.
"Are you buying or what?!" The merchant yells, holding out the bag of marbles. "150 Jakatas! Let's go, don't you hear those alarms?!" The alarms of the city are wailing and the merchant is obviously in distress. The markets almost empty and the few people there are running for safety. Come Play -3 Fear -1 Time Surrender or Fight or Run Fear and panic was spreading through the city rapidly, confusion was tearing through the people's hearts and minds. The elderly man didn't bother to respond to Nisha, instead he pushed his stall in her general direction and began to run.
The sound of marching could be heard rapidly approaching, the sound was deafening and the entire market seemed to shake with the descent of the Holy Army.
Several soldiers dispatched from the main regiment to surround Nisha, weapons out. "You are under arrest by Holy Decree! Resist and we will use lethal force!" You make it to the market but you see that things are not much better here. The soldiers are approaching from the direction of the Holy Citadel and the soldiers have already arrived to reinforce the guards from where you came from. If you do not find some where to hide soon you will be found.

Averus Ikaru
Averus had done what he was supposed to do during the whole time that Shun was showing off his wares to the people; standing around and for the most part assisting Shun with what he needed. Though he did find the whole ventriloquist idea a bit weird, as he had to play out his body movements to how Zarathos spoke, making him feel like an actual puppet. Amused at the very least, Averus made sure that he stayed out of the way of the various customers, not wanting to discourage them of their shopping.
After the day had come to an end, or at least from how business started to slow down, he looked over to a rug to sit down, looking over to Zarathos, then Shun as he sat down next to them. He nodded in agreement to the good haul. When the master of the market had poked his head inside, Averus also had to hold back a shudder before standing up and going over toward a part of the shop to stand and watch, not really wanting to be a part of the conversation, but sure he was going to pulled into it once more.

Once the alarms started sounding in throughout the city, Shun noticed the other merchants that were rapidly packing up their items. Something is going on… Shun stood up and peeked his head out from his shop, noticing the mass chaos of guards running throughout the city. ”Averus! Take care of the merchandise, Zarathos to me!” Shun slipped out of the stall he had been selling from and dashed through the market, hoping he would run into Takera before he ended up reaching the city. It was only when he noticed a group of guards surrounding a female with their weapons drawn and ordered she be placed under arrest or die. ”Well.. This could be worse… Zarathos, go back to the shop and keep watch with Averus… I may be arrested.”Shun rushed over to the group of guards and yelled rather loudly. ”Oy! Oy! There you are, you stupid girl! Please forgive my sister, she is not well! The alarms blaring scared her off and I could not find her until now! I have all of our proper documentation here with me, please allow this one indiscretion and I will reprimand her the moment we get home!” Shun eyed one of the guards with rather pleading eyes, hoping that they may decide to seek pity on her if they thought she was not doing well. He held onto the bag of Jakatas they made earlier today, he was not afraid to pass along more money in order to save his and hopefully her skin. Zarathos raced back to their shop, growling and barking at Averus. ”Hide now! In the back!” Zarathos bit harshly onto Averus’ hand, forcefully dragging the boy into the back behind the stacked crates as he laid down and waited in hope they would not be bothered. That foolish boy… he had better not get himself killed... He growled lowly to himself, wishing he had stayed with Shun instead of deciding to abandon him.

Averus Ikaru
With alarms not blaring everywhere, Averus went on full alert status. He looked around the shop to see if anyone one else was around, then nodded to shun as the young man ran out the door with Zarathos. He then moved quickly to get all the supplies and merchandise into a locked chest, making sure it was properly secured. They didn’t need any kind of thief taking the moment to use the alarms as a sort of opportunity to sneak into the market and pick out anything that wasn’t locked away or nailed to the ground.
Turning to Zarathos, and seeing that Shun was not with him, made his heart sink a little as he feared something might have happened. Wincing as Zarathos bit his hand to drag him to the back, he moved quickly to move to the back of the shop, seeing the stacked crates he was being led to there. Once he was released, he moved some of the boxes as quickly as possible to hide both he and Zarathos, then squatted down to wait out whatever was going on.
Hearing the growl, he could only assume Shun must have done something to warrent him not returning to the shop, and turned to listen carefully to anyone who might be attempting to come into the store. Worst comes to worst, he did not know what he was going to do, though right now the only goal that could come to mind was to not make any more trouble.
Outside of that, he wondered just what in the seven hells was going on in this city. Did someone die, or was there some sort of attack happening right at the moment? He was a little frustrated to not knowing what exactly the situation was, but he sat tight and readied himself in case anything were to happen.

Takera watched as the man finished up something else before turning to inquire of the item Takera was eyeing. A sudden chill ran down Takera's spine; the hair on the back of his neck stood on end. The merchants voice changed drastically to one of eery familiarity. Takera's eyes widened greatly as a wolfish grin spread across the merchant's face. A tap upon his shoulder caused him to reflexively turn on his heel and throw his arms up bracing for the unexpected, but instead he was greeted by the cold bone chilling breeze of a dark frozen wasteland before him. Spikes lining the path ahead of him. Takera took a deep breath as something caught his attention from his peripheral vision. Takera turned to glance across the spikes. He could see people caught within the ice. He wiped away the estranged layer of cold, and what was revealed almost caused him to fall back. He shuddered as the face was one of those select few from his group long ago. The memories began to flood in. His heart began to race as his eyes drastically scanned the spikes along the path. They lined the path like a nightmare coming a short distance to one that directly faced him. As he drew closer to it, he realized that the person reflected in this was himself, or rather his old self. Takera's eyes widened as the word rang within his head: "Shatter" echoing out.
Takera felt, for only a split second, that his body had come apart all at once when he was jolted back to conciousness. He was standing point blank at the counter as if he had never moved. His face was now pale and his eyes widened, a cold sweat breaking out. The merchant impatiently called to him angrily asking if he would purchase the unique marbles for 150 Jakattas. "Y-Yes, sir. My apologies." Takera responded. He reached into his pocket pulling free a handful of Jakattas. He opened his palm over the counter to notice that he couldn't keep his hand steady. It was shivering ever so lightly despite his best attempts to keep it under control. He counted out one hundred and fifty Jakattas and handed them to the man behind the counter. As the man collected the money, Takera took the opportunity to completely look over the features of the man's face to reaffirm reality from whatever it was he had just undergone. He grasped the bag of marbles tightly, picking it up and slipping it into his back pocket.
A blaring over took Takera and his thoughts surprising him. He arched his back lightly and looked around for the source. The merchant remarked the alarms blaring. Alarms? Why wasn't I able to hear them? Takera thought to himself. He felt a sharp pain in his hand and looked down to see Sha latched onto his hand with his jaw. "Right. I'm sorry, Sha... Hm?" Takera spoke to the wolf companion, but just then he heard the feint sound of feet clashing with the dusty road just down the road in the direction he was originally heading. He walked a few steps out from the stand and narrowed his eyes trying to garner details. A spikey haired peculiar man was coming towards them and he seemed flustered. That was more than all the queue Takera needed. Something was going on in this city and it was coming their way. Sha pushed up through Takera's legs forcing him to slide back over the wolf's back in a seated position. "Hunh? Woah!" Takera exclaimed as he was swept off his feet. Sha slipped into the divide between the merchants stands with Takera mounted upon him, and headed back passed it into a divide centered between the stands of this street and the next. Takera rebounded from the sudden stop and glanced ahead and then to both sides. There clearing hidden between the stands with a bunch of barrels Takera patted the side of Sha and pointed for the barrels. Sha carried them steadily over to the barrels. Takera swung a leg up over and off of Sha getting back onto his feet. He propped one of the barrels on it's side and opened the lid. They seemed to be empty. After a quick glance inside the barrel to check it he motioned for Sha to slip inside. Sha had a slight hint of hesitance, but backed into the barrel. "If anything happens to me, find the others and warn them, alright?" Takera whispered. Takera pulled the lid off of the barrel beside Sha and leapt into the barrel pulling the lid down over top and pulling it into place. Takera kept an ear out for any noise nearby as he let out slow breath and began controlling his breathing.
Takera's eyes grew wide as the events at the stand flooded back into his mind. He's here in this city somewhere. I'm absolutely sure of it, but what could he really want with this place..? Takera thought to himself as a bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face. Could he be responsible for the sudden alarms going throughout the city? This situation is bad. Very bad. Shun and Averus are still out there, but I have little choice right now. Takera's grasped his hand as it began to shake lightly and uncontrollably. He bit down on his lower lip in frustration. What can I do..? Takera thought as he closed his eyes tightly trying to desperately piece some kind of plan together. For all he knew, history might be repeating itself again and there's nothing he could do at that very moment to prevent it.

Nisha was a little sad that the man didn't pay attention to her, then heard the load sound of marching could be heard as she was standing there after the man moved to pushed the cart into her knocking Nisha over as the cart hit her, she stood up and was putting some of the book she had fallen off back onto the cart as the ground shakes under her, causing her to look up from cleaning up the books, as she looked about she saw several soldiers were around her with their weapons out before speaking up towards her. Nisha was shocked by this sudden development, but looked up at the guard and then got up from her cleaning of the cart and looked at the person who had spoken who was likely the leader of the group. "Hmm ok...". Nisha said in a sad tone to her voices as she stood there not resisting the guard as they move in. As she was speaking to the guards, waiting on what was going to happen, only for someone to rush up, calling out to the guard calling her his sister, she didn't move due to the weapons the guards had that still out, but she decided to play along. "Nii Nii look, it the Holy Citadel isn't it beautiful". Nisha said with a goofy smile spreading across her face, as she look at the boy who had come running into the situation.

Averus Ikaru
Averus sat behind the boxes for a good long while, or at least that is how he felt it was. He kept turning his head to Zarathos for answers, but knew that he was not going to get anymore out of the dog than what he already knew. As far as he was concerned at the moment, he needed to do something, something that was not just hiding behind a large amount of boxes for whatever was going on in this city. Taking a moment to basically stand a little and stretch his legs, he was taking a quick look around the shop. With no signs of Shun at the moment, he gritted his teeth behind his bandage mask. Deciding he was going to have to do something that was not at all along the words that had been plaguing his mind since he had sat behind the boxes, ‘doing what he was basically told to do’, he turned to look at Zarathos one more time, before he slowly walked out from behind the boxes.
He knew he couldn’t just walk away however, his team would be more than likely mad at the fact that he left the shop unguarded. But, in his mind, if Shun did not return and Takera went off to find something of either interest or value, then the shop was going to go to waste either way, and he was not going to be the one to have to deal with the master merchant and his rather strange, lewd hobbies that seem to interfere with the man’s work, or even influence it. But, he was not going to leave the shop just yet. Walking over to the lock box that held the vials of potion that the group had brought, he knelt down to make sure it was secure with the metal lock he had placed.
It was just a combination lock, with a simple code that each of them knew after the box and lock were purchased. Making sure that no one was looking, he wrapped his hand around the metal and gave out a small amount of his miasma-laced chakra into it. Not infusing it like other jutsu or such, but enough to give it a mark that Takera and Shun would be able to recognize if that were to come near it. This way, they would be the ones who are most careful in handling it, and not some ragtag thief who would try to take what is not theirs.
Once he was done, he took a moment to look around, and then snuck his way toward the back of the cart and other empty crates they had stacked to take a good look around. Since they were close to the entrance of the city things would be a little harder, as that meant more people. But, he was counting on the fact that the alarms had sent most people to do what he had done, which was to hide. He had now seen this as the right chance to see if he can learn anything that might be going on around the city, as well as maybe eavesdrop any of the guards or soldiers that were more than likely prowling about the city for whatever reason.
The most obvious answer to a question he had in the back of his head was what was causing an alarm of this scale that made everyone in the area dart for safety? Clearly it had to be something that threatened the entire city as a whole, or perhaps it was something like a large scale fight or riot was happening at that very moment, and to make sure no one was going to get hurt in the cross-fire was to run and hide, less you were a guard or a rioter. If Averus was going to head out into the city, he needed to make sure he was going to have to stay very hidden from any who might have a curious eye, outside the guard. More than likely, the people of this city, if they were anything like the master merchant his group had to deal with, were most likely out for themselves. If they catch him out and about during this time of emergency, they would more than likely take the chance to yell out for a guard to come capture him, and hope for some kind of reward of some kind in return as well. Averus took a moment to breath a little, calm his nerves before he finalized the decision to leave the shop and begin to sneak around.
Looking around now for the closest wall he might be able to scale, he darted for the most obvious place he was going to have to hide in for him to continue with his adventure into the city, and that was to stick to whatever shadows were nearby. With any luck, he might be able to find the source for all this panic, or find an opportunity to use for a later moment in time. That is, of course, if he doesn’t get caught or killed. The next logical step for, if he was able to get into the shadows to hide, was to find a wall that he might be able to climb, and attempt to do so in order to gain the advantage of the rooftops. Of course, that was if there was no kind of archers or other enemies that might be up there.

Juugou arrived to the market area of Aren and was dismayed to find that not only was it emptying rather quickly, but guards were approaching from behind and in front of him. Great! What the hell caused security to ramp up all of a sudden?! He wondered as he he jogged with no clear destination in sight. He dodged into a dark alley and stopped to catch his breath. The only way out of this mess was to create a panic too large for the guards to handle. Juugou placed his hand against the wall and allowed three quarters of the insects in his body to crawl out and up to the roof where they would wait on his command. Juugou then proceeded to run to where most people were gathering to be escorted by guards. Once he reached that point he commanded his insects to take flight and flare up the green markings on their bodies as they swooped into the sky. The young Aburame turned and yelled at the top of his lungs, "WHAT ARE THOOOOOOOOOSE!!!" At this point the insects were flying down in a great cloud coming at the crowd of citizens and guards, streaks of green light in their wake.
