Reminiscing on her life
Noelle had seen so many things these past few days as a chibi. Part of her still couldn't believe she had met others like her. Let alone that she had gone on some amazing adventures. It all still felt like a dream to her as she sat at her desk in her room. Her desk was covered in fake snow, twinkle lights, some very cute Miku Christmas figures, and of course cute Christmas sticky notes and pens. She had to have it all Christmas since it was the one thing that made her happy. This room - this desk - was the perfect place to think about her chibi adventures. Since this room was the embodiment of her Chibi-self and who she really was underneath - even if no one realized it. Since they all said she would grow out of it - like it was something unusual to love Christmas as much as she did.
She even remembered her friends at school when she first met them. When she first entered the building of her new school, she got so many looks. Her Christmas-themed clothing was shown through the building as she walked in. It was like she was a black rabbit in the mix of all-white ones. She felt nervous and shy and like maybe she shouldn't have dressed the way she did. It was the first time she was so unsure about herself. She felt like maybe being herself was too much for some people. That was until her friends came up to her and started talking about her cute outfit. She remembered just smiling brightly as they grabbed her hands and showed her around the school. Floor by floor they pointed out important areas and showed her the rooftop, and even showed her the homeroom that they all shared. They made sure even though she didn't talk she felt like she was at home. They offered her snacks, treats, and lunch and she just sat there smiling. It took her a while before she could talk to them, but when she did things only got better. She had friends like a family, who treated her like someone that could never lose, and no matter how Christmas-themed she dressed they never left her side. They were great friends and still are today. It's really the only reason she enjoys school.
She never had the chance to tell them, but Christmas was important because it was the one holiday she saw both her parents always. They always made sure to take the week off and spend it as a family. They would do Christmas activities like baking cookies or seeing Christmas songs. Though no matter what it was she loved it and longed for it every year. So instead of allowing that time to end, she engulfed her life in it. The way she dressed, the way her room looked, and anything she could do to make Christmas stay all year long she did it. Christmas was her happy place and that part about her would never change.
