The only consolation is that the flavor stays fresh and delicious the entire time. Maybe it takes a few minutes, or a few hours; you can try whatever remedy you want, but if you wait it out it will eventually soften and you can free yourself. Overall it’s harmless, just massively inconvenient, and maybe a bit embarrassing.

Mabella was out and about looking around the festival by herself for the moment, she spotted a candy shop and went inside to buy some star candy and to pick up another star charm. She smiled and thanked the person working at the counter. She then went outside and sat down on a bench to relax with her candy. She put the candy in her mouth and started to chew. She soon found that she couldn't open her mouth. She blinked in shock confused as to what had happened. She tried to remain calm as she waited for the effects to go away.

Christabel had been exploring the festival. She was so excited to see the festival was already growing on the second day of her coming. Pop up shops were everywhere and the music and laughter filled the air. Everywhere she looked, she saw smiling faces and people enjoying the festivities. She was glad she had come to experience the festival.
Then a smell hit her nose. It was a smell as sweet as Christmas cookies coming out of the oven. She followed the smell to a wonderful candy shop pop-up shop. The shop was filled with colorful, handmade candies of all shapes and sizes. She couldn't help but grab a few of her favorites, all colored green and red - her favorite colors. "Thank you," she said before she quickly exited the store, and popped a piece in her mouth. That's when everything went wrong. Her mouth got gummy but gummy in an undesirable way. It was like she couldn't chew anymore.
She quickly looked around, and tried to find anyone that might be able to help her. She didn't mind being silent, but having her mouth like this was not at all something she enjoyed.

Mabella waved her hand at the other person who seemed to be in the same spot as she was and gestured that they could sit next to her while they waited for the candy to dissolve. Hers did first and she sighed with relief when it did and she looked to the other person. "Well, that was kind of scary." She got up and threw the rest of her candy away. "I don't like this candy it makes me uncomfortable to have my mouth sealed I know I can steal breath but it still feels horrible to have my mouth sealed like that." She said shivering a little.

Christabel sat down next to the person on the bench. She seemed nice enough, and so she didn't think twice. Once she sat she noticed they were in the same predicament. She saw the other person's candy end, and she exhaled from her nose calmly. 'Thank goodness this thing will end,' She thought to herself quietly in her head.
It took a few moments but then her candy also freed her mouth from its gooey trap. She quickly raced to the trash can spit the candy out and threw the rest of her green/red candy out as well. "I can't agree with you more," she said with breath if relief, "I never knew I'd be happy to open my mouth again." She ended her last few words with a slight laugh.
She was trying not to let the candy get her day down, and while she would be avoiding that store for the rest of eternity. She figured that now that one pop up shop was down. She had to find another. After all she still loved her sweets. Even more so if they were Christmas colored.
"You know I know we both had a bad run in there, but would you like to try to find a different sweet place with me? Maybe cookies or cupcake? " she suggested kindly. Since she figured at least with those they didn't run the risk of a goo-d up mouth.

She sighed out and then said "Right, I was not expecting that and I never want to deal with that again it was horrible. "I'm Mabella." She said and then nodded "Sure cookies or cupcakes sound like a safe bet hopefully nothing strange will happen with that." She then leaned down to pick up a star charm she saw on the ground. "So what's your name?" She asked. She was still powered up but her senshi outfit wasn't all that strange specially for the star festival lots of people were wearing strange outfits since the Jaws the musical was also happening soon and people were auditioning for that and getting costumes ready. She wondered if they would be able to tell the difference between Mabella and Issy. She figured she could run away and reintroduce herself but she just didn't think it mattered. So she decided to go off with them to get was sweets that hopefully wouldn't result in a sticky mess. She shivered thinking about the thought. She never ever wanted to feel like her mouth was sealed again it was so uncomfortable and made her feel panicky.

Christabel firmly believed that if she never saw that Christmas colored candy again she would be okay. Since this was not an experience she would ever want to repeat. "Nice to meet you Mabella, I'm Christabel!" She said with a bright smile on her face as she headed towards a cupcake shop she had noticed on the way to that candy pop-up shop.
She was determined to get something sweet and have a positive experience. Christabel didn't even mind that she was powered up, since no one ever said anything. Plus her normal day Santa like outfits were probably even weirder, but she always dressed like the holiday she loved - Christmas. It didn't take her long to get to the shop, and when she did she noticed something colorful hanging by the door. It was a star charm that said take me, so she did.
"Well here we are! Let's grab some delicious treats!" she exclaimed excited as she could be.As quickly she entered the shop, the colorful cupcakes seemed to be a much better choice then the other candy. She smiled, glad to have found a different kind of treat.

She found it funny that their names were so similar. She entered the shop with Christabel! and ordered some cookies and some black tea. She filled her cup with milk and sugar and sat down breathing in the scent of the tea as she waited for it to cool. She bit into her cookie and smiled at the sweet taste and the taste of the cinnamon in the cookie. "This is much better." She said with a sigh of relief that nothing weird was going on here it was a nice change of pace. She was getting a little tired of the magic everywhere.

Christabel quickly picked out a red and green cupcake with what looked like fairy dust on top. Then she ordered some ice cold milk, since what goes better with a cupcake than that? Then she quickly took one bite. That one bite lit her eyes up like a Christmas tree on Christmas morning. She couldn't believe the amazing flavor of the cupcake. She knew she had to come back and get more. She closed her eyes in bliss as she finished the last bite.
With a bright smile on her face, she said, "Me too! We'll have to return sometime! Oh and I will say I'm glad it wasn't a magical cupcake." As she finished her sentence she laughed a bit, since she loved being a Senshi, and helping people. Sometimes she was okay with ordinary experiences like enjoying a simple but amazing treat with friends. She knew she would be back to her mission soon, but for now she was content just drinking the rest of her milk.
