The Fireflies (6) : In the warm summer nights, little glowing lights begin to bob and dart through the city. Fireflies are mating, so this isn't uncommon in itself; in the past few days you've probably seen hundreds of fireflies. What makes these lights so unique is that they seem to change color; you might see a blue one, a green one, a red one. They flicker randomly, and something just seems off with them. If you come into contact with one, you will find yourself with a strange electric jolt. They cannot be caught, and will flicker away if you pursue too aggressively. This isn’t the first time they’ve appeared in Destiny City, but no one’s been able to tell where they came from or where they’re going. No matter how quickly you chase them, they always seem to disappear before you can find any answers.

Noelle had decided it was time to power down and relax as a normal kid. So she snuck behind the nearest dark spot and quickly transformed back to her normal self. Since this was her first festival she wanted to enjoy it as a Senshi and as a normal girl. Weird she knew, but she wanted both sides of her to enjoy it for the first time and she was so glad she had.
As soon as she was back to her human self, she quickly ran out into the crowds. Everything was so beautiful here it was like Christmas had come early. At least in her eyes. Her eyes shined with so much excitement as she ran through the crowds. That was when she saw them, something in front of her was flickering on and off like a Christmas tree light but it was flying. "What on earth is that.." she whispered under her breath as she stared at it flicking on and off from blue light to blending in the sky.
Before she could think too much she saw the flying light start to fly away. Of course, without a second thought, she bolted after the light. Dunking around people and weaving in and out of people to make sure she didn't lose it. After what felt like forever chasing the flying light she came to a field. She started to slow down as the light paused its flight in the middle of a gorgeous green field. That was then she saw it, the sight was like something out of her wildest dreams. All these different flying lights were lighting up the sky like a Christmas tree in the sky. Green, red, blue, and maybe a few more colors she couldn't see.
"Woah, am I dreaming," she said shocked as she stood there looking at all these flickering lights and pinched her wrists. "Ouch," she said as she felt the pain course through her wrist. "Well guess I'm not dreaming," she said with the biggest smile she had ever had. She quickly pulled out her cell phone to talk a quick picture so she could show her friends at school. Right after she decided why not fly with them. So with that in mind, she ran around like a plane in the field waving her hands in the air and smiling from ear to ear. She felt like they were one as she ran in the field with them surrounded by their beautiful flying lights. As she ran out of breath having run for a while enjoying one of her fantasies come to life, she noticed as one by one the lights began to disappear.
She waved and waited until each light went out right before her eyes. "Goodnight little lights," she said with a smile as she waved one last time to the sky. Before she turned around and walked back towards the festival activities. "I guess dreams do come true," she said happily as she hugged her cellphone tight to her chest. Happy she had a lasting memory of her dream come to life.
