It just had to be this dark and spooky night that Sailor Abramov's twin sister, Sailor Giclas ditched him for homework. Abramov was uncomfortable in the dark and really didn't want to come patrolling after dark but he knew he needed to. He just hoped no kid would scream out what he seemed to look like. He wandered into a local park and attempted to hide among the flowers with his large, red puffy flower hat and his long purple kimono robes. Couldn't the universe get anything right? The most obvious error aside, he was blatantly of British descent (note the red hair), not Asian. As he was thinking about this, he bumped into someone. "Oh pardon me." He said shakily.
Christabel was taken back as someone bumped into her. She looked at them and all she saw was what looked like someone wearing some sort of flower costume. Though then she realized it was more than that, she felt power. Now was it order or nega power she had no idea but she figured the first thing to do was talk. "Oh no worries at all! I'm short so it happens," she said in a jolly like tone before introducing herself. "I'm Christabel! Senshi of Mistletoe it's a pleasure to bump into you." Just as she went to hold out her hand, she saw a dark creature fly straight towards her hand. As if it didn't like the idea of her jolly nature in its dark domain.
Abramov smiled. The young child seemed to be a Chibi Senshi - he had heard of those, but had not met one other than Leaena and that was only once. "Pleased to meet you as well. I'm Sailor Abramov, Senshi of Raffl-" Suddenly he was interrupted by a flapping noise. Suddenly the sky was darkened by the wings of a single giant bat. Terror seized him and his blood turned to ice. His life passed before his eyes, including a death scene he didn't know - buried alive in an underground cavern collapse followed by being eaten to death by bats. He cringed and then turned and threw the young Chibi to the side (is this ok?) and then launched himself in the other direction. "Bats! Why did it have to be bats!?!" He wailed as he hit the ground.
Christabel quickly jumped back trying to put some distance between the creature and her hand. Thankfully she had a little had a little help from the senshi throwing her to the side. Any help she could have to go further away from those winged things worked for her. As she did so she noticed the other sailor looked a little terrified. She wasn't sure why but she had to agree she did not like these things. All black and winged and trying to attack her. Just was a big no in her head - it wasn't jolly at all. "I agree! These things are just no," that was when she had an idea. She could brighten these bats up with her berries and maybe that could get them to leave her alone. After all she had been training for this. "I've got an idea! Go berry blast! Let my Mistletoe, blind you with its jolly shine!" As she said that she blew a kiss and sent an array of mistletoe berries. She didn't know if it was going to work but she had to do something. After all the senshi had helped her get away from them.
kissing blast
If they burst on impact, they have the potential of leaving a sticky residue that the target will have difficulty removing. If they do not burst, they cause discomfort akin to being pelted with a series of small, hard berries. In addition, the residue or pelt sites have the potential to leave a temporary stinging sensation for the remainder of the attack time. Impact is determined by player's discretion. Attack lasts 20 seconds. Can hit 1-2 people per attack, 2 uses per battle.
Interesting power that kid had. Well, phobia or not, he was not going to be upstaged. With all his courage, he forced himself to stand and called to Christabel, "I am about to attack, you may want to back up a bit from the sticky bat, as it will not be pleasant!" His voice was shaking.
"Disgusting Raffesia!" A nasty fragrance as if from a flower formed in front of the bat. It sniffed and immediately gained a look on its face that seemed to mean it was sick to its stomach. Immediately it threw up on itself. It then attempted to do the staggering version of trying to fly away. Abramov watched it warily.
Christabel listened to the Senshi and backed up a few steps. She watched as his attack hit that bat right where it hit. Between her sticky berries and the nasty fragrance attack. Well that poor bat didn't stand a chance. She couldn't believe how well their attacks went together. While it was a bit smelly and sticky it still did the job. Just as the bat was trying to get away it suddenly let out a loud echoing noise. She quickly covered her ears, "Ow..." The noise was like a screech from the darkened night. It hurt her ears but before she could react she turned around and noticed the bat was gone. It had disappeared into the night but not before it had its final say in the battle. "Where did it go?!" she said as she took her hands from her ears. Hoping that the creature was gone, and not just waiting around the bend.
Shaking badly, Abramov stared in the direction of the bat. His breathing stabilized and he felt the terror leave. He nodded to a tower in the distance. "It seems that it has gone there to roost for the night." He turned back toward Christabel and offered her his help. "As I was attempting to say, I am Abramov of Rafflesia." He grinned and then offered, "It's interesting that we both have plants for spheres.
Christabel was so excited to hear that the bat was gone for the night. She did not want to see them again no matter what. So she made a mental note to stay away from that tower at all cost. "Well looks like I'm going to be going the opposite direction then," she said with a bit of a nervous laugh. Who knew what that bat might be like after a rest. "Well it's nice to meet you! I haven't met any other plant senshi's before," she said trying to remember all the senshi's she had met. Haunting, mummies, cheetahs, sugar. Never a plant though. She was excited someone else had a plant sphere honestly. But at that thought she looked up at the sky and realized it had gotten rather late. "Man I really wish I could stay longer . I really hope we can meet again sometimes soon. Since it'd be nice to learn from another plant senshi. I mean we had such a wonderful battle with that bat after all," she said with a joyous smile. So happy she could put her attack of berries to use.
Abramov nodded, blushing. "I hope we can learn from each other. And yes, I agree it s late . See you soon." With that he was gone .
