Lau was watching everyone chaces around the flutterbugs. She laughed and ate her food. One of the flutter bigs must of seen her and the big or pile of food and it flew right to her and instead of Lau catching it. It caught her. Lau and the flutterbug laughed and watched everyone else rry to catch one.
Bowie and Miu are sitting silently on the sidelines.

Bowie Suddenly, the little fennikit perked it's ears up and ran off. "Ah, wait a second..." But it was too late. The little familiar had vanished. Bowie sighed. "Well, as long as it's happy..." He said softly. But suddenly, the fennikit came running back, a flitterat sitting on it's back. "Oh? What's this? Did you just bring a friend?"
Miu Miu found some punch for herself and a bit of water for her new friend. "I hope you like it." Miu smiled, setting the flitterat down on a chair with a tiny dish of water. She took the chair beside it.
Sphinx Oh, she really did hope that Jin would go for what she was implying. She picked up one of the enchanted 'snowballs' and tested the weight in her hand. Yes... these would be great. And they were cold.
Vega Vega leaned his head in and rested his forehead against Leto's. He kind of wanted to kiss him again, but he was also really embarrassed to do so. But then... there would be a lot of time to practice kissing.
Undine This was already really fun. There were so many lights and people dressed up in pretty costumes and so many goodies! She was reaching for a cookie when suddenly a coatl appeared in front of her. Undine stared at it and slowly took the cookie, then smiled and reached up to pet the snake. "How pretty!"
Nashira And then the awkwardness set in. Nashira wasn't really good with children. She liked them well enough, but she didn't know how to interact with them.
Nivasi He only started laughing harder when a flitterat, of all things, climbed up into his lap. He found it quite funny as he had a basically a cat and mouse in his lap. And they even seemed to get along. "I don't even understand what's going on!" He chuckled.
Cecelia was bored. How much longer was she supposed to wait here? She only agreed to come to this place for the manuscript and she had that. Thats just the price of having important parents, she supposed. They are always somewhere else busy with other things. If it was her sister here surely they'd have picked her up a long time ago. She was just as talented and successful as her big sister, if not more so. Cecelia sighed and took her violin from its case. After listening to the orchestra's tune for a moment, she proceeded to play, matching in pace and tune. Playing seemed to be the only thing that kept her sane now and days. Surely thats because it's all she knew. She didn't get the normal happy childhood all these freshlings had. Perhaps she despised them because she envied them. Meanwhile, Ruby tried to eat the table cloth, unsuccessfully, not that it tasted good anyways.

Winter waved as her new friends left to continue exploring. She hoped she would run into them again sometime in the future, perhaps in classes? She hadn't really thought to ask what houses they were in to know if they would even be in the same schedule as her. Winter looked around at all the people coming and going outside the freshling zone. Blue the fluffbug was curled up comfortably on her head, his little bee leash wrapped around one of her pigtails, for safety off course. Jack had picked up the bat plush and was carrying it around by a wing. Winter sighed and gathered her two plushies and decided she might as well enjoy what was left of the fair before she had to go back home for the night.
Reece's search was halted when a man stepped into her path. He wreaked of salesmen but he clearly wanted her attention so decided to hear him out. "You there! Yes you! You look at like an athetlic young Lass" "In need of a companion that can keep up with that staminia and fighting spirit?!" "Well I have just the pet behind this very curtain". Reece looked to where the man was gesturing. There was a field's worth of land shrouded by a large curtain, almost like concealing a stage. Weary, but curious, she followed the man behind the large curtain. Behind the curtain she found was a fenced in area full of large creatures with tusks and claws and..webbed feet? "Bunyips! Found only in Wailing Swamp" said the man. "Then what are they doing here?!" inquired a concerned Reece. "Well these aren't from the Swamps of course, these were hand raised to be pets for caring people like yourself." The man looked at her with his most sincere expression. Reece stepped into the fence, closing the gate behind her and was rushed by a group of the curious creatures. One stiffed her, another shoved her, while one approached her dropping a large ball at her feet. She went to lift said ball and found it to be very heavy, like a bowling ball. Guess it needs to be durable to survive this pack. She summoned her strength and with her best toss sent the ball on a fast roll across the enclosure. Strike!. The bunyips chased after but 2 of the 3 quickly lost interest and only the one returned the ball to her pacing back and forth at her feet. He was very festivie in appearance. With his white fur and red and green markings his ears resembled two shiny peppermints. Reece crouched so she was eye to eye with the beasty.. "How do you feel about the name Bark, like peppermint bark?" she inquired. She ran her fingers through his mane. It seemed he was pleased with this name as he didnt pull away when she reached for him. Reece turned to the slick salesmen and told him she would take this one home with her. "Splendid!". He gestured to one of the caretakers nearby who laced up Bark in a hardness with a lead. "Its just a safety procausion, there are a lot of treats and small children here today" The shade assured Reece. She nodded and with the lead in hand walked out of the shrouded field, Bark in tow. "Onwards to adventure!" Reece cheered.

Lilly dragged Birkita to the prize wheel, standing in the short line to try. This was so much fun! She was going to come away with several souvenirs, obviously! She wondered where she would put all of it! Excited, she rocked on her feet, ready to go next.
And she was finally there, to the front! Listening to the rules, she nodded along, anxious to spin the wheel. And then, she could do it! Grinning widely, she spun it… and won a plushie! And a bracelet! Fantastic! She turned her body towards Birkita, pulling her next in line. ”C’mon, your turn!” she hollered in her whispery voice, hugging her new prize happily.
Birkita gave an impatient noise as she was dragged to yet another stand. She would leave soon, she swore it. Sighing, she stood in the line with Lilly, avoiding eye contact with everyone. If she did that, people were less likely to approach her to speak, right?
Lilly went and won a plushie. Of course. As if Lilly needed anymore clutter. Birkita’s mind was occupied on how to discreetly reduce Lilly’s mess without Lilly noticing. And then, Lilly called out to her and Birkita blinked. Oh. It was her turn. She was expected to spin the wheel. Letting out a loud sigh, she spun… and won a plushie and a snowglobe.
Sisal decided to go eat more desserts. Edging around others, he slowly and gently made his way through the crowd. It took quite a while to actually make his way across the room, as the crowd had only increased. But finally, he made himself to the brilliant spread of desserts, that were filled with puddings, tarts, pies, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, pastries, brownies, and many other things. Interested, he picked up a plate and began layering desserts on it. It took quite a bit of balancing to keep the tipping pile from toppling over but he made it safely to the table. Sighing happily, he plucked a pair of green bell earrings from a cupcake.
Once back out in the open Reece sat down next to Bark. He didn't really seem to mind the harness, since he was too distracted by all the sights and smells. She scratched his head and smiled. "Welcome to the Academy, there are a lot of people here so you gotta be careful" Reece poked his pointy tusks. They could definitely injure a freshling that got a little too close. She turned her head having gotten a wiff of something delicious. Seemed Bark also picked up the scent. "You hungry? I'm hungry... lets go get something to eat! I smell soft pretzels!". The duo rushed off into the crowd towards what they could also assume was a food court.
Kean suddenly felt a bit tired, though he tried to make sure that he wouldn't fall asleep! Maybe he needed some food, and not candy! Though that was hard, since that seemed to be the only thing that was offered here! He then remembered the thing that his sister had gotten before, that wasn't like gross coffee, but should give him a bit of a boost... tea was it? He quietly asked his sister if she could go get some for him and she nodded, excusing herself from the table as she grabbed his mug, now drained of hot cocoa and hinting of an impending bathroom trip, and going to get some.
Kean didn't dare try to move, though he barely could anyway! He decided to lay his head on the table for a bit, almost falling asleep right away and not realizing it.
Kean's Items:
- it was eaten though, - eaten by a Nezubat,
For some reason, Talia suddenly felt very tired, and from what she was seeing with her fennekits, they all were. She turned to Lailah, who was still standing there and looking around a bit, and telling her that she was going back to the dorm room to drop everything off, including the fennekits, and possibly taking a nap before coming back out.
Lailah just nodded, but that was enough for Talia to take that as an okay as she tried, as quickly as she could, to make it back to her dorm room without falling asleep in the hall way. Somehow she managed to make it, but she only put her stocking on the floor, and crawled into her bed, her fennekits soon surrounding her and falling asleep with her.
Talia's Stuff:
- eaten
Lailah managed to hear what Talia was saying about going back to her dorm room, and Lailah nodded. It was a good idea anyway, and she should probably do the same, but... it would be a bit hard to care for all of these creatures without the right type of food... right? And so Lailah went over to the vendor with all of the familiars and asked what type of food hers and Talia's familiars needed. Luckily it all seemed to be food provided by the school, or that she could get from the school, so it would be no problem.
She then headed back to her dorm, which was right across from Talia's which made it surprising that they hadn't really met before all of this, but Lailah tended to wander, which made teacher's keep her either close to them or a close eye on her. She set up a couple of beds for her jackalope and nezubat, however, they both hopped into bed with her when she got into it for her own nap, and she decided it would be okay to sleep with them.
Lailah's items

Qilanna slowly sipped her cocoa, glad to have a moment of rest now that she had all of the familiars around her calmed down, though she knew she couldn't keep all of them. Two at the most for right now! She wasn't sure how, but she had to give the vespercat to someone else. And hopefully it would be an easy transition.
It was a few minutes of pure bliss, but then her brother tugged on her sleeve and asked where he could get some tea. She looked at his mug and it was empty! He's going to get a sugar high and then crash and I'll have to carry him to his room. She thought, wanting to roll her eyes, but she didn't want to disappoint him, and so she offered to get some for him.
She grabbed his mug, and headed to where they were serving some green tea, getting a mug for him. However, it seemed to be right next to the cookie table, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw something pink and furry near the table, and suddenly a cookie was gone! Qilanna did a double take, making sure she hadn't seen an illusion, and it was a jackalope! It had stolen a flower cookie! What was with all of these creatures running around the place? She would have to ask who was in charge of them if there had been a break-out or something. She sighed, quickly grabbing the jackalope and it squirmed a bit, trying to get away, and Qilanna was glad that she currently did not have the mug on her. Eventually the jackalope calmed down, and Qilanna took it and the now full-of-tea mug back over to the table, sighing as she sat down and making sure neither vespercat wanted to attack. Luckily it didn't seem as though they wanted to. Now she definitely knew she had too many, and would need to see how she could get rid of a couple.
