Bowie The little fox just stared at Bowie for a moment. The hybrid slowly turned to face the familiar, and bent down so he didn't tower over it so much. After a moment's hesitation, the fennikit climbed up into Bowie's arms. He managed to get the cookie away from it, and placed it in his bag with all his other goodies. "I have someone who would love to meet you."
Miu Miu shuffled her feet, and started looking around for something more entertaining to do. She had to practically dance out of someone's way as they went running through the crowd. Sheesh! They almost stepped on her paw!
Sphinx Sphinx really wanted Jin to be right. She hoped that she would find a familiar here too, before they all had to go home. She looked around them, but so far, she didn't see a familiar. How long would it take, she wondered.
Vega Oh gods, he was being a dork again. Leto probably thought he was being so weird! Well, he kind of was, wasn't he? UGH! And he'd said Leto's voice was hot! What the hell was he going to do? Thankfully, he was distracted a moment as a jackalope hopped up to him. Oh? Well this was cute. What pretty flowers on it's head! And it brought him a cookie? Score!
Asher He couldn't help himself. Asher began to read some of the book. He remembered he had loved it as a child... though Kae had loved it more. He smiled at the artwork. It was so familiar still.
Nashira The problem was... Nashira wasn't sure any of her jokes were funny. She awkwardly closed her mouth and glanced to the side. People didn't usually laugh at her jokes. And Charon was always saying she was weird... but he always punctuated that with a hug. She really didn't get it.
Nivasi Nivasi realized that he suddenly had a familiar. This wasn't... quite what he was hoping for from the evening, but... He had to admit that the little thing was quite cute. Maybe it would be fun to have around the shop.
"Well, not if you say it like that," Lilly rasped lowly, sticking out her tongue. She picked up a purple bracelet next, adding it to her bag. She was going to collect them all. Really, she wanted to collect everything.
Well, everything but the books. She really didn’t need the books, after all. It wasn’t like she would read them. And if she wanted to, she could always borrow a book from Birkita. But that wasn’t very likely. Because she really, really, really didn’t like sitting still and reading. She just wanted to have fun and play all day. And talk about dinosaurs, of course.
Birkita rolled her eyes before reaching for another book. It had an... interesting title. Taken by a Chimera.
Her hand nearly had it when a blue and white Spectrefox snatched it from her, giving a disapproving look. She frowned back. "Hey," she growled. "That's mine," she told it peevishly. The spectrefox gave a sniff, turning it’s head away stubbornly.
Birkita wanted to kick the spectrefox. But she wouldn’t, of course. She was a violent one, after all. But just because she wasn’t prone to violence didn’t mean she didn’t get the feeling. And right now, the feeling was strong. What a stubborn fox.
”I’m going to wander around for a bit. I-If you don’t mind,” Sisal told the mayor with a blush. Oh, how his heart was pounding. He could barely breath. It was too overwhelming at the moment. He needed to calm down and talk to her then. When he’s prepared himself.
”I-I’ll be back later,” he stammered out before moving away. He moved to the other side of the room, taking deep breaths. It was suddenly very hot under his jacket. Sighing, he leaned against a table… and decided he may as well grab some peppermint bark to munch on. The nerves had made him hungry, after all. He’ll find his way to the dessert table eventually.
Bowie The little fox suddenly wiggled out of his arms and dashed into the crowd. "Ah!" He tried to call after it... but maybe it belonged to someone else? He was about to give up on that when the familiar came running back, this time with a plushie in it's mouth. "Where did this come from?" That was answered quickly as a freshling started crying. Bowie sighed and handed the pilfered plushie back to the child.
Miu Oh! What the? She turned around and there was suddenly a large plushie in her face. GAH! There were so many cute plushies here... but she couldn't take them all home! There was just no room for them all at her place! She wished she could take everything home though. Ah well. Some day she'd get a bigger house. Yes, then fill it with plushies! Or not.
Sphinx There were a lot of plushies, and Sphinx was getting a little annoyed. Maybe the familiars couldn't see her because of all the stuffed animals? Hmmm... "I wonder how Vega's doing with Leto." She said out loud.
Vega Ok, Vega was actually really glad to have a familiar with fur right now because he started nervously petting it. He couldn't help it. He didn't know what Leto was going to say... and if he actually talked, oh, his poor heart couldn't take that. He might faint. Oh gods, why did he have to have a crush on his friend like this?
Asher The book truly was delightful, and Asher very nearly fell asleep reading it. It was such a great bedtime story, after all. He yawned and stretched, standing up again to work out his muscles a little.
Nashira Socializing really was difficult, but... Samhain seemed to do it so naturally. And so had Bebe and Calixtus and the others. She wondered for a moment how many of them were here, but she didn't dare wander off to see. That would just be rude to Sam.
Nivasi He gently tickled the familiar's ear before setting it back on the floor. Oh, he would have to come up with a name for it. Hmmm... He glanced back up at his baphomet companion, and pondered asking her for naming help. Then he realized he hadn't introduced himself.
Kean had started to pull away from his sister's hand a bit, seeing if there was any place he had missed, but ultimately decided to stay with his sister. After all, he had to show her all of the really cool spots! Though the familiars were looking pretty cute, and the vendor offered him a chance to pick one out but... he already had two of them. And as much as he liked the creatures, he knew he was too small to take care of them all. Plushes would be a much better idea. That way he could act like he had a familiar, but didn't have to do all the work of actually taking care of one, like feeding and taking it for walks.
He looked at his sister, who seemed to be eyeing the rest of the event, and he tugged on her sleeve. "Sissy! We can go over to the table where you got the book again! But this time don't get a book for me! You need to get something for yourself!" He said, tugging on her sleeve a bit more before he managed to convince her to move toward the trinket table. Although he really didn't want anything else, his sister had barely gotten anything! She needed to get something too!

Talia was about to talk to Winter some more, but she was a bit distracted by the plush vendor calling out for more people to come over. She hesitated for a bit, before asking Lailah to look after her stocking and the two un-named fennekits, as she hurried back over to the plush table.
Once she was there, she wasn't exactly sure if she should choose to get another plush or not. It's not as if she needed more, but she did want more. But, she had promised the nezubat plush that if she got another chance at getting a plush, she would get a friend for it. And so she chose the green and red nezubat plush to take back with her. She quickly gave her thanks, and hurried back over to the table, hoping that she hadn't kept either Lailah or Winter waiting for too long. She smiled at Lailah. "Thanks for watching my stuff!" And quickly put the new plush in her overflowing stocking.

Lailah had barely noticed that Talia had gone off, and mostly concentrated on sipping at her cocoa every once in a while. So when Talia did come back and thank her, Lailah was a bit confused as to what she was being thanked for. She wasn't exactly watching Talia's things, though it seemed that she had done her 'duty' well enough. "You're welcome." She replied, taking another sip of cocoa. It was then that Talia told her that the plushie vendor was looking to give away more, and Lailah decided to wander over there herself.
Although she had plenty, she wondered if she could get one of the bigger plushes, and asked the vendor if it could be delivered to her room later, as she was quite small and couldn't carry it that well. The vendor chuckled a bit and told her that of course it could be, and which one would she like? She looked over at them, trying to decide. They all looked sort of angry, which she didn't mind but... she thanked the vendor, telling them that if she had a chance at another one, that she would get a large one that time, but this time wanted to get a small purple kidden plush to go with her other one. If she got another chance, she would choose one of the brown ones. They all looked good though.
Then she made her way back to the table, quietly stuffing her new plush into her stocking, making sure her jackalope was comfortable.

Lady Angel Heart
Qilanna giggled as her little brother tugged on her sleeve, and she let him guide her over to the trinket table. She didn't really need anything off of there, but her brother seemed to be quite insistent that she take something. She supposed he still felt bad that she couldn't eat that cookie earlier. But the vespercat currently sleeping on her shoulders had made it worth it.
Of course, the trinket table was mostly filled with little kid stuff, but it did have a nice selection, and she found herself having to choose between getting a necklace or a bracelet. The necklace would be more practical than the bracelet, but she wasn't too sure that the glow from the necklaces would last forever. But... she would probably have another chance at the trinket table, and so decided on a bracelet this time, quietly slipping it on her wrist and thanking her brother for bringing them over here.
The family split up once more, each going their own direction. Seeing Ashford, who had somehow managed to snag both a glowing red bulb and a cute fox plushie, with his bark candy earlier had created a craving and Erwyna set off to find the table or stand or person that had it, intent on getting herself some peanut brittle. She crossed paths with Syblia, a steaming purple mug clutched in their grasp, and caught sight of Elirian with two bracelets. A smile touched her lips as she saw her give one to Veles with a grin, though as she saw Aleanette snagging up another plush and a small bunch of candy canes, she gave an amused snort. That girl’s room was going to be covered in plushies.
Just as Luma was about to get up and make one last round of the festivities, the mysterious women with the cookie tray appeared again. "Quite the lucky lady you are" said the women. "Have another cookie." Luma noted the Lyre cookie was still missing from the tray and she was very suspicious this time. However this unusual force compelled her to pick a cookie, this time the Crown. She thanked the women who had one again, disappeared. "Okay I would expect this type of stuff from the October celebration but for a Solstice festival to have this much weirdness.. its just weird". The flitterrats squeaked in agreement. It seems like she would now have to break the cookie into 4 pieces, when out of nowhere a kidden leaped from a nearby table taking the cookie in its mouth and fleeing. However, they didn't get far. Right after making a run for it the kidden was tripped up on a violin case that was partially sticking out in the isle. Luma walked over to find the kidden wiped out in the lap of the Chimera from earlier. The Chimera stared up at her in shock and confusion. Luma grinned "The nine have smiled upon you, enjoy your cookie!". She quickly turned heel and retreated to her stash, loading her rat companions into her stocking and making a beeline in the other direction. Cecelia was still in shock. Its not often that a flying kidden lands in your lap. When the kidden realized what had happened they seemed very paniced and began looking around like they were missing something. Cecelia noticed just an arm reach away was a tiny crown with rubies in it, kidden sized. She picked it up and placed it on the kidden's head, who was very relieved. It nudged the previously dropped cookie in her direction. "Oh no, I'm not a crown, I'm a staff." The kidden rolled her eyes and looked at her with a stare that meant. "Just eat it". "Fine but if I contract some strange disease from eating this, my death is on you.". Cecelia cringed and took a bite of the mysterious cookie. Luckily it didnt taste like a poison. In fact it was a red velvet cookie, her favorite. She suddenly felt a strange connection to the kidden. "Is your name Ruby?". The kidden nodded in affirmation. "I have a kidden at home, his name is Conner". Cecelia rose to her feet, having successfully jammed as her loot into her shoulder bag, aside from the bracelets which she now adorned. She picked up the violin case and gestured for Ruby to follow. "Come then"
Winter smiled at the compliment and hugged her own plushies, the old and the new, resting her head ontop of them. "Thank you......". She loved her wings cuz they looked like snowflakes. The season was her name sake after all. Not many people cared to comment on them though. Most people don't notice her at all. In fact she was still kind of in shock these two had approached her.
She scrunched her face. "Spectrefox...not a doggy?". She wasn't familiar with..familiars. She looked down at her companion, whom she had named Jack after his frosty appearance, and the fact he responded to it. He rested his head on the ground and huffed, like a father entertaining small children. "He followed me" She noted. "He's nice though, likes food". She tilted her head examining the two fennekits which were now fast asleep ontop of Jack. "What are those fluffy things?"

had to figure out how to engage two people at once
Reece was currently on the hunt for the fellow student who had just engaged her in snowball combat. Unfortunately when she turned around to return fire there was noone standing there with a bucket. It would be unlikely they were hiding their ammo on their person because these enchanted projectiles were beyond cold. She refused to give up! She would get revenge if it was the last thing she did! Unless something more important came up, like fair food, or games...but revenge was definitely gonna happen. Probably.
Illusion smiled brightly as he grabbed a red and green stocking and a pair of red and green antlers, this was so great. Winter solstice was here Illusion was going to spend time with friends and family. This was like his favorite time of year a time full of wonder and magic. Happiness and joy. He looked around the room and up and at the beautiful stars in the night shy. He hurried around the room taking in the decorations and looking for someone to play with and show his magic tricks too. His grin on his face smiling from ear to ear.
Cascade walked into the party, she was dress in a red and green dress and her long fluffy tail trailing behind her as it normally did. She smiled a little but Cas wasn't a very forward person she liked doing things quietly a lot like her daddy Evergreen. She looked at the table with the stockings on it and she chose the white and blue stocking. Then she went around looking at all the decorations and seeing who else was at the party. She moved forward and felt something stuck in her tail. She looked down and saw that there was an atherjelly stuck in her fur. She picked it up cuddling the pretty sparkly plushie.
Malik still couldn't see well he was always squinting and he decided to pick a black and white stocking then he went to a table run by a purple and blue blur. He smiled a little, not being able to see once made him nervous now it was used to it, he could hear things that others couldn't songs about the holiday season filled his ears as he picked up a pretty yellow necklace and put it on. He thanked the blur running the table and then went to see if there were any yummy snacks at the party. Following his nose.
Caraway was still upset and kinda depressed she felt like she didn't have a family to go home to after her fight with her sibling. She grabbed a bag a candy and went off to the side of the room to eat her candy and watch the others having fun at the party. She wanted to see her family but she also didn't want to fight with her sibling anymore since they didn't get along it felt like Caraway wasn't welcome at home. Which was why she lived in the dorm rooms at school instead of living at home anymore.
Sugar Maple entered the party wearing a green dress, she went to the table and got a pink and purple stocking. She smiled at the person giving them out her smile small and shy. Then she went and looked at a table run by a pretty red and grey litch who seemed very kind. There Sugar received a cute little plant. She smiled and thanked the litch, Sugar was very fond of plants since she was part dryad she felt like she had a connection with plants. It gave her comfort. She then took her new plant and stocked to the side of the room to sit down.
