Kean's stocking was starting to get a little too full, though at one point he felt it might have gotten a bit lighter, but he hadn't looked. Surely bags couldn't suddenly lose weight? Unless they had a hole in them, which he had checked for at first and once again, making sure he hadn't poked anything through it or that Flitter hadn't chewed through it. He was once again directed over to the cookie table, where he decided to grab another cookie. You're mine cookie! He thought as he lifted the cookie towards his mouth, and took one mouth-watering bite out of it.
As he was chewing the first bite though, a Nezubat swooped in and took it right out of his hand. "Not again!" Kean replied, quickly chasing after the nezubat! However it was quite a bit harder this time than when he had chased Flitter. After all, Kean didn't have a really heavy sack with him that time!
He ran as quickly as he could through the crowd, trying to catch up to it! Unfortunately, he lost it for a bit. He frowned, almost ready to cry at the thought of the lost cookie, when suddenly he saw the nezubat sitting on a nearby table, eating his cookie! Kean ran over to it, yelling "hey!" as he got closer. Unlike last time though, he would not be able to save his cookie. Indeed, this time, the nezubat had finished it by the time that Kean caught up to it. It then flew off the table, and onto Kean's head, settling itself in, a content look on it's face.
Kean felt like crying.

Talia was starting to feel a bit worse since she had hardly gotten anything, or at least any of the cooler things that were available. People were getting plushies and so many other cool things! And while it was nice to have some warm hot chocolate and a book were nice, she was starting to feel like the unwanted geist she was.
However though, she was gently directed to over to the place with a whole lot of familiars. At first she wasn't sure why she was guided here, until she was told that she could pick one! She practically squealed in delight! Though she tried to keep it down, she knew that others didn't really like kids yelling or screaming.
She slowly perused all of the available familiars, wondering which one would be best. The fluffbugs looked cute, though she knew they could also be dangerous. The flitterats might be good too, but she wasn't sure if she wanted something that would chew through her things. She already had so little, she couldn't afford to lose any of it! The skyfish were nice, but she was too little, in her mind, to care for one. What if it got stuck somewhere really high? How would she be able to get it down?! And then some of the other familiars were just too big for her!
She was almost starting to wonder if she would find the perfect one for her, when she came across a fennekit and she quickly asked the handler what they needed for care. They told her, and warned her that the fennekit would need a lot of energy and would have to be played with a lot. Talia could do that! Without many friends and getting schoolwork done early usually, she would have a lot of time to play with it! And it seemed like a good pet for a geist! Or at least she had been told that as a geist they were quite mischievous. She wasn't too sure though since she didn't have parents, and hadn't hit puberty yet, but if it it did happen, then the fennekit would be perfect for her!
The handler handed her the fennekit, and it was almost as big as she was! She quickly wondered how she would keep the fennekit with her, when it seemed content to follow her around. That was lucky! She pet it a few times. "You'll be my new friend, that all right with you?" It seemed to wag it's tail in agreement, a smile on it's face.
The gifts just kept coming. While Rowena and Tania were enjoying the buffet someone came over to them and told them to have a little winter spirit. Then they handed Rowena and Tania bell earrings. Then a little girl came up to them she was very shy and didnt say a word but handed them both a plushie and ran off.

Kasseri: Kass continues onwards, tucking the now empty mug into her stocking with hthe other items she’s gathered. She notices a small table selling candyfloss. That looks sweet and yummy! It’ll be perfect for her sweet tooth desires. She leans over and nabs a red one with a green cone holder. As she does so she feels something nudge her hip. It’s a white, green and red Spectrefox. She tears off a piece of the candyfloss and offers it to the familiar. It gently takes the treat from her hand.

Tinú: Tinú spots the hot chocolate table and rushes through the crowd. That’ll warm him up perfectly right now. He grabs a purple mug and starts to gently sip it. As he does so something lands on his head, causing him to splash a bit of hot cocoa on himself. “What?” He reaches up with one hand and discovers something fishy. Literally. It’s a Skyfish! Tinú feels lucky that it only landed on his head and didn’t try to land in his mug.

Sylkie: Sylkie circled around the tables, looking for Habushu once more, when a book on the table piled with them caught her eye. She quickly scooped it up and into her stocking for later reading.

Habushu: Habu wove his way between people, searching for his friend. Suddenly he tripped, someone had dropped a giant Fennekit plushie on the floor! He picked it up and moved to the nearest table. Habu noticed an interesting book in the pile and grabbed it. He heard a throat clear to his left, turned that way and discovered Sylkie. “There you are! I lost you earlier!”

Georgette: Georgette continues wandering haphazardly through the tables, bunyip at his side now. He stops at the plushie table and picks up a vespercat plush, then moves on to grab an interesting snowglobe.
Bowie Ok yup. That was a very familiar face. When Reed reached him, Bowie reached out to touch the imp when a rather large thing was hefted up into his face. "Bwuh?" He couldn't stop the surprised noise as he backed up a step, then started laughing, making the bells on his horns jingle a little. "Well hello. You look a lot like me, little dude." Well, the familiar wasn't really all that little. He leaned back when he was suddenly slurped in the face by the creature, then started laughing. He sidestepped Reed's arms and the bunyip so he could put his face against Reed's shoulder and playfully dried the slobber off on his sleeve. "Let's start over, shall we?" He put an arm around Reed's shoulders and leaned in to kiss him. "Reed! I'm glad to see you!" He looked at the familiar. "Zowie, huh? Here I thought he looked like a David." He was laughing and finally pet the familiar.
"I got you something while I was waiting." He smiled, and pulled a plush nezubat out. "It was cute and made me think of you."

Miu Now that her new familiar had settled down, Miu could get down to party! She slipped a colorful glowing necklace on, then looked around and spotted a purple goblin who seemed to be here alone. Miu strolled over and gently tapped the goblin on the shoulder. "Hi! You wanna dance?" The hallowed grimm's little tail was wagging happily.
Zaye After looking at a table full of plushies, and selecting one worthy of sitting on her bed, Zaye decided to look around. She spotted a chimera who looked to be about as pretty as she was. Yes, That was someone worthy of her time. The bejeweled imp wandered over to the chimera. "You look like you're looking for someone." Well, someone or some thing. She didn't know. She also didn't really care.

Sphinx Bouncing around a little as she hugged her plushie, someone thought she looked just so cute with her antlers and arms full of candy and plushies that they handed her a purple fennekit plushie as well. "Erp. I don't think I can hold these all. Leto! I'm going to find somewhere to stash my goodies!" and she dashed off into the crowd.

Vega Ok. He had a gift now. He hoped Leto would like it. Now... he just had to give it to him. Vega was pondering leaving the festival to go to Leto's house, but... He also didn't want to leave just yet. He looked up and thought he spotted Sphinx running through the crowd. That couldn't have been her, right? He shook his head. There was no way it was her. Whoever that was looked to be alone. And knowing Leto's family, they wouldn't let the little ones out of their sight like that. He turned his attention to a table full of snow globes. They were gorgeous, and he really liked them. Since he tended to get ill in the winter, he didn't get to play in the snow much... so... maybe he should pick up a couple for his room, so he could enjoy the snow when he got sick this winter.

Asher What was that about socializing? He was handed a bucket of indoor snowballs. A huuuuuuuuuuge grin spread across the Grimm's face. He was going to have a lot of fun with this.
Meadow Hmmm. This was the season of gifts... Maybe he shouldn't be too greedy. Meadow looked around and picked up a plushie. He wondered if Aurelia or his brother would like this?
Avalon "I have to be serious all the time?" Avalon raised an eyebrow at Ten curiously. Ten looked like he was about to protest but Avalon placed a finger to his lips. "I am just teasing." He smiled. "Now, maybe we should find something to bring home to Sui and the kids." He stopped and looked at a jackalope plush. The colors made him think of Arch. "Hmmm..."
Ten Ten sighed when the finger was placed to his lips, then kissed the digit. He saw Avalon looking at the stuffed toy. "I have a feeling I know who you are thinking of." He looked around. "I bet they'd all like some presents..." He looked at some flashing, glowing bulb-shaped necklaces, picking up a blue one.
Nashira Ok, she really didn't... know what she was doing any more. She sighed, looking at the candy in her hands, then opened it to have a piece. It was pretty good. She heard someone yell in the distance, and suddenly, candy seemed to come flying at her and landed in her shirt. Her face turned bright red as she had to fish the candy out of her top. She had a bundle of candy canes in her hand. This... this was just weird.
Nivasi One thing that Nivasi really liked, was the fact that people were so kind and generous this time of year. As he was looking around, someone handed him a pair of silver bell earrings. He blinked at them and laughed, jingling them. Before he could thank the mysterious gifter, they vanished.

Always the one with energy, Karayas was running about as if on a sugar rush. Running past tables, booths, games and sweet treats she wanted to see it all at once. Running until her energy gave out, she plopped on her butt and looked up to see a booth and it had plushies! She loves plushies, standing up quickly she went over and saw you played a game to try to win one. Shrugging to herself she watched a older Demon play by spinning the large wheel, it had colors, shapes and numbers on it. Not really understanding she waited her turn and spun. It landed on "8" and the color was blue. The Kirin who was at the booth handed her a Blue Fox plushie! She said thank you and placed it in her stocking for safe keeping.
Kalek saw Karayas running around like crazy, shaking his head he giggled at her. He knew his friend would be doing this, he just was not sure how soon she would do so. Walking along he took in all the sights of the festival, breathing in the cool, crisp air. He carried his stocking in one hand and wanted to fill it to the top with prizes! He bumped into a freshling and said "sorry" before he moved to the table where he saw the Librarian. He was about to ask if he could have a book when one was suddenly in his hands. Smiling he placed it in his stocking and began to wander about again.
SnowLily
Clumsy as usual, SnowLily had already fallen several times and kept on going. She knew it was a nuisance but she couldn't help it, she was just naturally clumsy. Her stocking was already dirty from falling and she sighed. Maybe she should look for a friend to help keep her out of trouble, looking around she saw a group of freshlings at a booth. Walking over she stumbled and knocked into a few before she got in line. Mumbling her apologies she started to walk away but Dayanara was standing there and reached out to hold her hand. Smiling she took it and waited her turn with Dayanara, they both began to laugh. The game was simple, toss one ball at the velcro wall, each colored section corresponded to a prize section. Not knowing what prize was what, SnowLily tossed hers and it stuck on Yellow. The attendant motioned to the bracelets and SnowLily clapped with glee, choosing one she slipped it on her wrist and waited for Dayanara to have her turn.
Dayanara
Dayanara had saw SnowLily approach and stumble and one of the freshlings laughed at her. Dayanara glared at the young female and fluttered her wings causing the Kirin to back up away from SnowLily giving Dayanara the chance to reach out and give her a hand up. Once she was on her feet, Dayanara kept holding her hand, she didn't like it when SnowLily was picked on. She waited her turn behind SnowLily, who won a beautiful bracelet. Dayanara tossed the ball and landed on a Red color, it was a deep Red almost Brown in color. Shrugging, she looked at the attendant who motioned to the plushie shelf. Smiling she looked them over and chose one of the Bat ones. It was cute and festive colored. Turning she and SnowLily walked off to find their next adventure together!
Dayeon
Dayeon did not stray to far from his Mother and Dayanara his adopted sister. He saw her come to SnowLily's defense when she fell and that mean Kirin laughed. One of these days he thought that Kirin will get what is coming to her. Secretly hoping Dayanara would be the one to teach her a lesson, he laughed to himself. He decided to play the same game they did, and walked over and tossed the ball hitting the dark Green square and his prize was a plush as well. He chose one in mind for his Mother, and placed it in his stocking for safe keeping before following behind his sister and her friend.
Pippi
This was her first festival away from the Orphanage, holding her new Mother's hand tightly, Pippi was in awe of everything around her. When they entered she was given a choice of a stocking to carry her prizes in. Looking at her Mother she was not sure if she should take one, but her Mother just smiled and nodded so she shyly chose one and handled it with care as they walked around. So many booths, tables and games to play!!! She felt overwhelmed, she began to have a hard time breathing. She was scared and excited at the same time, her Mother stopped walking and bent down to her and talked softly to her, and slowly wiping her tears from her face. "We do not have to stay little one, we can leave if this is uncomfortable for you" "I wanted you to have fun, you are such a withdrawn shy child I thought this would be something you could just run around and have fun with, it is your choice do we stay or do we leave?" she motioned around her and looked her in the eyes. Pippi took a deep breath and said "Mama I want to stay, I will try harder not to get overwhelmed, can we play a game?" Callie smiled, "Of course little one, let's find a easy one ok? Walking along they found a game with Candy Canes, it was easy enough. Each Candy Cane had a mark on it that you couldn't see, it meant the color code for the prize. All Pippi had to do was choose one and she won something. Reaching out, she pulled one from the green styrofoam and it had a Red dot on the bottom. The attendant told her any prize on this table and Pippi chose the antlers and put them on and made the bells jingle, causing her to laugh!
Cuileann decided to come and walk around, just to get away from her studies for awhile. Not really sure what she wanted to do she just walked. Nothing really caught her eyes so she sat down at a table near a plushie booth and people watched. Time slipped by and when she got up to head back home there was a plushie sitting next to her that was not there when she sat down, looking over at the booth the Demon had a twinkle in her eyes. Nodding her thanks she picked it up and walked towards home.
Citali was starting to feel incredibly out of place now at the festival. To many others were showing up, and she was afraid she would accidentally bump into someone and then have that awkward conversation and apologies and things she just wanted to avoid. I'll have one final look around, and then I'll head back to my room. She thought as she continued looking around. She really should be going back to her studies. If she was going to pass this year and finally graduate, then she had to get back to studying instead of meandering around this silly event.
She grabbed a pair of cute bell earrings, and then another plushie, both of which she managed to stuff into that tiny stocking. The goblin was a master of packing with little amount of space. Well, I guess I better head back to my room now.
------- She was tapped on the shoulder and Citali gasped as someone asked her to dance. "Um, um, um, well, um, I was um, going to uh, go s..s..study." She managed to stutter out. Darn it! Why did someone have to talk to heeeer? "Th..th...thank you though." Her cheeks were red hot and she looked down at the ground as she fiddled with her stocking she was holding.

Lilly was excited! It was her first year at the academy and this was her first winter solstice. Hiding near the entry way, she wiggled excitedly albeit nervously. She had been shoved in a dress but… she had somehow stuffed the outfit into her dinosaur onesie when out of sight.
Now, she used the hood for protection from eyes of others while leaning far from the wall, staring open-mouthed up at the ceiling. It was… great! Letting out a small giggle, she brought her eyes down, looking towards the different nightmares in the room.
She wanted to speak to one… but didn’t want to yet. Not yet. Just watch…. Oh. There were presents. Grinning widely behind her onesie covered hand, she snuck around along the wall, heading to the present pile. ---- The first thing she grabbed was a stocking... the orange and yellow one. It seemed like dinosaur colors. Feeling the fabric, she grinned happily before standing on her tippy toes and reaching towards the middle of the table... to snap the snowglobe. Holding it up in the air, she stared at the academy with the fake snow falling inside... before wandering off with it, eyes glued to the globe.
Lokni decided to take a break from his studies of the weather and rocks to visit the festival, play a few games, eat some delicious food and get some warm sweet drinks. He walked around, enjoying the weather and observing how the people interacted with it and making mental notes.

Iason looked forward to this event for some time, the weather was a bit cold for him but he loved the overall feel of this particular festival. The beginning of the end of the year was always a busy time but he enjoyed it immensely. The hustle and bustle of the season, coupled with the cold weather he had a very good reason to stay inside with his plants and his studies in biology. Walking around the festival grounds he saw a table set up with some plants and it drew him like a moth to a flame, the attendant told him no need to play a game the plants were to be given to those who asked or wanted one. Carefully inspecting them he chose the plant that he liked the most and thanked the attendant before moving off to head back to his dorm to get his new plant into the warmth.
Eberly
Eberly came to the festival to get inspiration for his art, needing a muse to get his creativity flowing. Looking about, all the colors brilliant against the dark lit up like a beacon to him. The glorious lights, the color so clear and brilliant against the backdrop on which they hung, the plant/flower decorations with its delicate balance of fragrance and color was amazing to behold. The different colors and styles of dress the festival goers wore beckoned his attention, within a small span of time his muse hit and they rushed off to their studio not even partaking in a game to win a trinket.

Ostander Enver
Ostander had followed Eberly for the same reason, their muse was gone. Usually they shared a studio one was content to paint the other was content to do sculpture. Each one seemed to have a different muse strike at the same time, which helped the other immensely. The slump Ostander was in was far worse then the one Eberly was in, nothing seemed to jar their interest. Even walking out among the festivites did not glimmer any muse to them, sighing they walked for a bit before giving up and returning to their dorm.

Alatheia
Alatheia decided to take a break from her meticilous note taking in regards to natural medicines, standing up stretching her back she began to walk around and headed to the festival. The lights were glorious to see, so many rides, games and booths there may not be enough time to see them all. Wandering the aisles she enjoyed the sights, the sounds and the smells before returning to her work.

Kamiaela
Kamiaela was walking around not really noticing anything that caught her attention when she say Alatheia. She had wanted to talk with her about her natural medicine recipes, so she ran to catch up to her. The festival forgotten as she hurried to speak to Alatheia.

Anaeia
Anaeia had come to the festival to get her mind off her worries, so much work was piling up on her she knew she shouldn't but she needed a break. She felt caved in at home and needed a change of scenery. The festival was the perfect place to relax and enjoy herself for a few hours. She was drawn to a booth that had beautiful decorations all over it, the colors were so pretty. She saw that it held a game, one she wanted to try. It basically was hitting the lever to launch the rubber toy into the small cups and if you landed in the middle you got a special prize. She agreed to try and was given 5 rubber familiar toys to try with. Each one was different, shrugging to herself she placed them one at a time on the pad and hit the large button launching them, she landed 3 of them in the water, the fourth one landed in a small cup but it fell out but the fifth one landed in the Green/Red cup in the very center of the water. The attendant clapped and rang a small bell. "You won my dear a very special prize, one of our familiars" "Choose please" pointing to the side where a curtain hung, moving it back she gasped at the beautiful familiars there. One of a species she never saw before comes over to her and plops down right in front of her and its teeth were huge but it seemed to be very docile. "How about you become my new friend?" with that she turned and it followed right behind her.
Cadhla
Cadhla snuck out, she knew she shouldn't have but she needed a small break. Her studies were getting to her and all the words were running together when she tried to read them so she gave up. Walking the festival, she sighed in happiness. Only a hour break but it was enough to give her a respite and relax her.

Kayndie
Kayndie followed behind Dayanara and Dayeon, watching them closely without interferring with their fun. Smiling she saw how Dayanara had defended her clumsy Baph friend SnowLily and how Dayeon noticed and seemed to be happy for his sister. Oh how she loved the fact they got along, especially since Dayanara was adopted while Dayeon was her birth child.

Callie Mae
Callie Mae was having a lot of fun with her newly adopted daughter Pippi. It was tough going at first but Pippi seemed to perk up and enjoy herself at the festival. Seeing a game booth, Callie asked Pippi to go over so she could play a game. Bouncing on her heels, Pippi said Ok and walked over with her.. The game was a favorite of Callie's. It was the dart game, but this one had a twist to it. You had to follow in order meaning the first spot you hit told you which one you had to hit next and so on until all 5 of your darts were used. Callie threw the first dart, landing on Red which told her to go to Green, tossing her second dart landed on Green, which told her to go to White, landing her third dart on White, it told her to go to section that looked like wrapping paper now here is where it got tricky there was several colored squares on the board that were wrapping paper colored so she just randomly chose and the fifth dart landed on the wrapping paper with Red/Green bows on it. The attendant removed the darts and looked at Callie, "You won a familiar but not just any familiar, one of our special ones. Pulling a cord a curtain was lifted and there was some familars adorned with some kind of jewerly, flower or clothing. She spied one she fell in love with and asked if she could have that one, it came over to her and she squealed in happiness before picking it up gently and showing it to Pippi!
Cyndal
Cyndal was at the festival with her sister and her niece and nephew. Her mind was on the orphanage children and her application. She was not really paying attention and passed up getting a plushie.

Su was very excited for the festival, it was her first. She felt like a freshling, seeing the sights for the first time. She was in awe at all the different things there was to try, she felt so lost she just stood there taking it all in.

Kalen wandered about slowly, his tail was his guide. Not being able to see most thought was a handicap but to him it was not. He relied on his tail and his tail relied on him, they had a trust that was unbreakable. He moved according to what he was "told" and he was enjoying the sounds and smells of the festival. He wandered around for a while before getting tired and headed back to his dorm to return later that night or next morning.

Eibhleann felt amazing, so many things to do it was to much! Her head began to swim with everything for her to possibly do, food to eat, sweets to snack on and drink, games to play, rides to get on, music to listen to, lights to see and admire, trinkets and familiars to win and friendships to be made.
Sitting down on a comfy chair she decided to take a break to get herself in order to know what she wanted to do next.
The event was really too much fun! It was amazing; Lilly had never experienced anything like it before! And the snowglobe… she couldn’t yet put it in her stocking. And somehow… she had wandered over to the trinket table again, bumping into Kean.
Shocked and nearly dropping her snowglobe, she took a step back, frowning at the other freshling for a moment while she carefully stored her snowglobe into the stocking. And then, she spotted the candies in his hand. Blinking, she moved closer, fidgeting slightly. ”A-Are you going to share?” she asked in a hushed voice.

A green glow caught her eye and, while still staring at the other freshling, she reached over and snatched the bulb necklace off the table. It was... pretty... Hastily, she stuffed it into her stocking, delighted by the clink of the bulb hitting her snowglobe. There should be festivals like this all the time!
Yaruka was smiling as she stopped to read the first few pages of the book and was hit with instant nostalgia. The story was beautiful and sad....but the sadness was part of the beauty. She wasn't sure if she looked a little down because of the story or if that was just what her resting face had become....but she looked up when she felt someone tap at her knee and saw a Grimm freshling holding up a big mug of what looked like hot cocoa with tons of little marshmallows that looked like a cloud on top. "Chocolate always makes me happy....so here!" Yaruka blinked but she smiled warmly and took the cup from the adorable child. "Thank you, sweetie. I hope you have a Happy Solstice."
Danielle glared at the cheeky little nezubat and tried to grab the cookie from it, only to have it dodge out of the way with little chirps that sounded like laughing. "Oh come now, that's not necessary! I'd gladly share with you but you have to let me have it so I can break you off a piece!" She hoped that she could reason with the nezubat (which, in hindsight, seemed like a silly idea) but the little creature looked off in a direction and just dashed away. The imp sighed and shook her head, mourning the loss of a pretty special cookie.....but then the nezubat came back and fluttered right in front of her, chittering loudly to get her attention. She looked at it curiously and it dipped down towards her hand before flying back up to where it was. Taking the hint, she held her hand up and the critter not only dropped the cookie in her palm but also....a little glowing bulb necklace? "....For me?" She asked and the nezubat just chirped, then fluttered down on her shoulder. Danielle smiled and slipped the necklace into her stocking, then broke off a chunk of the cookie and gave it to her new companion. "Thank you."
Guzma grinned as he just kept rubbing on Flossy, who was not opposed to the petting and seemed to even be enjoying it. Was she drooling? That was so cute! "Aaww, who's the best girl? You are! That's right, you are!" The big, burly hybrid was slowly degrading to baby-talk to the bunyip and he couldn't have cared less; he loved her! "You want a treat?" He stood up and looked around to see what he could give her and grinned when he saw the bags of peppermint bark. He snagged one and pulled out a piece, holding it out to Flossy....who then sniffed it curiously before grabbing it with her teeth, taking it from him and chomping it down with a grunt. The bunyip was enjoying the sweet treat till something bright and shimmery landed on her nose, making her go cross-eyed with a confused snort. "Ooh, did ya make a friend there Floss?" Guzma looked at the wisp curiously; it looked like it had a tree at its core.
Mariana giggled as she walked around, constantly hearing the soft jingle of her antlers while she enjoyed the festival. A tree had bundles of candy canes hanging on it with a sign that said "Take one and spread the cheer!" So she gladly grabbed one. When she came upon a group of people who were singing Solstice Carols, she couldn't resist and jumped right in to join. Her voice rang out in joyful chorus and she was praised by the adults for how pretty it sounded. She still had a lot to learn, of course, but that was part of the fun! She was approached by a pretty baphomet who smiled warmly at her. "Mnemosyne smiles upon you, dear. Here; a special treat for a special young lady." They handed her a beautiful cookie that was shaped like a lyre; it looked so tasty that she wanted to gobble it up but so pretty that she didn't want to ruin it! "Thank you very much." Mariana said with a smile and a curtsy, taking the cookie carefully. She decided to stick it in her stocking for later but just when she was about to put it in, a little face with twitching whiskers poked its head out of her stocking and was looking right at her. They just stared at each other for a moment before the flitterat inched forward and very lightly booped its nose against Mariana's. The little naiad smiled and giggled a bit. "Ok, I guess you can stay."
Kean let out a small 'hey!' when he was bumped, and looked to see who it was. If it was someone older, well, they should have been watching themselves. What he found though was another freshling like him in a really cool outfit! He was a bit jealous! However, he barely heard her hushed question and wondered slightly. He... really wasn't wanting to share. But... he could grab some of the spearmints/peppermints. And he could always grab more right? Though why the other freshling hadn't grabbed any when they were at the trinket table he couldn't understand. Candy was awesome!
'Cookie Stealer' was still happily resting on top of his head, no matter how many times Kean had tried to shake it off. "Uh... sure? But you have to say please!" Or at least that's what he had been told numerous times when he had eagerly run over to get something that he wanted or asked someone for something. He shuffled through his bag, going for the bag of spearmint and peppermint, Flitter giving an indignant squeak at having his second set of candy stolen from him, as Kean got the bag out of the stocking.
He opened it up and grabbed a handful, before putting the bag back, to Flitter's delight, and Kean held his fist-full of candy to the other.

Talia was currently playing with her new familiar and trying to come up with a name for it too. Fluffy seemed too generic, and she wanted to give this one a special name! However, while they had gone off to the side, one of the vendors called out to them, leading them towards the plushie table. Talia picked up, as well as she could, the fennekit, who was happy to be held, to keep herself from squealing.
All of the plushes were adorable! But some of them were just too big for her to hold! So she couldn't take any of those. And so, she scanned them, wondering what the best one would be to pick. There were a lot of cute smaller plushes, but what caught Talia's eye were the fennekit plushes. She just had to get one, not only for herself, but to commemorate her new friend! She quietly asked if she could please have one of the red ones, and it was handed to her. She gave it a hug, let her familiar sniff it, and then put it in her stocking, before going back over to the trinket table, and grabbed another book for her now-growing collection.
Lailah was quite awed at the event, surprised that it was just so big! And wonderful! She wanted to run around and tell everyone to have a happy celebration! But she refrained herself, instead, thanking the vendor who gave her her stocking, before wandering around to see what was going on. That was when the trinket table caught her eye and asked if she could have one of them. The vendor gladly told her that she was free to choose one from anything on the table, and she quietly picked a pink bulb necklace, and put it around her neck, thanking the vendor, before wandering around the event again.
Luma had just finished her second cone of candyfloss when a strange women in a cloak approached her. "The nine are smiling upon you, have a cookie!" It seemed like the women was smiling but she couldnt tell since her face was in shadow. The women offered forward a plate of 9 cookies, all zodiac signs from what she could tell. Normally she would've chosen the crown since that was her own but a different cookie seemed to be calling her, the Lyre. She wondered if this reflected something about her personality but quickly shook this feeling and made her choice. The cookie was quite beautifully frosted. She looked back up to thank the women but she had mysteriously disappeared. Luma shrugged and went to take a bite of said cookie only for it to now have disappeared too! Not like the women into thin air but having been swiped by a flitterrat in a tiny cape; how odd..and cute! But wait, what about the cookie!? Luma quickly followed in pursuit, for some reason she really wanted that cookie.
The epic chase ended at a large fountain which portrayed each of the nine as familiars. The Lyre it seemed was a flitterrat. The thief in question sat down next to its stone likeness, cookie in paws. Luma walked over and kneeled down. "May I please have my cookie back?" She asked in calm sweet tone. The flitterrat reluctantly agreed and returned the cookie. Luma always had a soft spot for flitterrats so she broke the cookie into thirds. She dropped one third into her stocking for Cocoa, kept one third for herself, and gave the last third to the cookie thief. After all the cookie was devoured she held out her palm and asked if they would like to come with her. The rat, who seemed to respond to Lyre as per the symbol on his cape, pondered the offer for a moment then accepted.
And so the Naiad Luma and her two rat companions continued their adventure!

Kean's stocking was starting to get a little too full, though at one point he felt it might have gotten a bit lighter, but he hadn't looked. Surely bags couldn't suddenly lose weight? Unless they had a hole in them, which he had checked for at first and once again, making sure he hadn't poked anything through it or that Flitter hadn't chewed through it. He was once again directed over to the cookie table, where he decided to grab another cookie. You're mine cookie! He thought as he lifted the cookie towards his mouth, and took one mouth-watering bite out of it.
