" ah wait sphinx" Leto called out or well though he called out of course his younger sister had already darted into the crowd and Jin was starting to look shifty too. He knew he said he should find a bench and release them into the wild but some part of him had also been kidding. It was then that Jin's eyes let up and she let go of his hand dashing into the crowd. He made a move to follow her when suddenly a plushie was handed into his arms and he was basically distracted, A pained look briefly crossed over his features as they said something and dashed into the crowd. It had been way to fast for him to try reading their lips. He had gotten to used to everyone either having a white board or knowing sign. ------------------------------------- Jin felt bad ditching Leto like that but she was going to come back. It would just be for a couple of minutes while she grabbed his surprise. Okay it wasn't really a surprise but it would have to cheer him up. Her guilt grew a bit more when Leto was handed a plushie especially since she knew he would feel down at not being understanding the other. However she had a mission she was going to... oh that was a cute plushie. Okay she had to rescue the cute plushie and now towards her goal. " Vega. Hi. This way" Jin made herself speak as she practically popped up next to the Kirin. She seemed to be in a phase were she hated talking, thus her whiteboard. However no time to write things out.

However surprisingly as soon as she stopped running after the familiar. It swooped back and landed on her shoulder nuzzling her cheek. Ah well Oberon knew everyone got tons of familiars during festivals so he shouldn't be too put out right? While she was deciding the best pout face to use, another freshling ran up to her and handed her a plushie. Had they made them in class? Huh well it was cute and she smiled at the freshling and ruffled the top of their head before they darted into the crowd. ------------
Reed - 2 Reed gave Bowie a big grin and nuzzled his nose against the fuzz on Bowie's face "David it is!" He let the Bunyip slide to to ground and give Bowie a big old sniff "I promise I'll help look after him, He'll be like our baby!" He laughed And accepted the little plush "I love him, Thank you Bowie. You're so thoughtful!" He Took Bowie's hand and steered him towards the Mint candyfloss, "My favourite!"

Rana - 20 Rana was feeling pretty great about her snowglobe and extra plushie, so far this event was alot of fun! She went to a stall with different christmas jewellery - bracelets, jingle earrings and fun little bulbs on a string, filled with glowing glitter and stars, she totally fell in love with the pink one and gave the nightmare her coin!
She clipped it on around her neck, dropping her jackelope plushie to the floor, A little nose peeped from under the tablecloth, followed by a mini pair of Antlers - a tiny REAL Jackelope in a flower crown showed up and scooped the plushie up and held it towards Rana, Rana was delighted! It wore the sigil of the Wreath and was absolutely beautiful, the nightmare behind the stall looked down to where Rana was looking and smiled "Looks like you've been chosen little one, she might like this." She handed Rana a cookie in the shape of a flower!
Alula - 13 Alula praced around in her antlers, Making a real show of herself an enjoying all the attention she received! She grabbed a pair of jingly clip on earrings as well for twice the jingle-bility!
She stopped in her Jingle tracks when she spotted a gigantic Fennekit plushie! It was her favourite colour purple, and looked almost angry.. Alula was in love!
Bailey - 6 Bailey finished his hot chocolate and spied a table of home made peppermint bark, Bailey was overjoyed apparently they only ever made this treat at Winter solstice and he was so excited! He had to have some of that!, It was wrapped up in cellophane with a pretty chocolate colored ribbon! Next to the peppermint bark sat a Happy looking chocolate coloured Fox plushie with tiny paw prints on it's head, he thought he looked so pleased to be there, Bailey had to take him home to be friends with his other plushie buddies!
Bowie He returned the hug from the imp, and laughed when his face scruff was touched. "You're adorable, you dork." He kissed Reeds nose when he stood upright after setting the familiar on the ground. "So, I get you a plushie, and you bring me a baby, and I'm the sweet one?" He raised a brow curiously. When Reed grabbed his hand, he just followed along, looking back at the bunyip. "Come along, son." He laughed. Ah, they were going to get candy. "So candy floss is your favorite? I should remember that. He thought about getting some as well, but a bag of peanut brittle begged to be taken instead. "Wanna share?"

She was curious, and oblivious to the other's discomfort. "Have you checked out all the cool gifts you can get here?" She held up the purple bracelet she had gotten.
Zaye Zaye almost rolled her eyes, but caught herself. "You're not likely to find one here." She held up the plushie a random passer-by handed her. "These are all cheaply made, bought in bulk junk meant to entertain the stupid masses."

Sphinx She was going to be right back. She just had too much STUFF right now. She found a nice little corner to stash her stuff. As she was setting her things down, she found an abandoned bag of candy, and picked it up, adding it to her collection. She looked up and saw Jin heading towards... OH! Vega was here! She thought a moment, then pulled the bow off the bag of candy and ran over to them.
Vega He was admiring the snow globe, and very nearly tripped over a torti. He flailed a moment, but managed not to fall or drop the snow globe. He looked at the red bejeweled torti and smiled. Kneeling down, he gently touched the thing's back. "Hey there. You here by yourself too?" The torti just blinked at him. Vega smiled and picked the little one up. It seemed content with him.
He was about to star walking again when suddenly Jin popped up. He jumped a little. "Oh, hello." Wait, then had that been Spinx? "Uh, ok..." He blinked when Spinx ran over and first tugged his hand. He looked squatted to be eye level to her, and the little hybrid put a bow in his hair. "Uh... o...kay..." And then he was ushered off by the little ones. He wasn't sure where they were going until he saw a familiar redhead. "Leto!" He was really happy to see him, and stepped away from the little ones. He waved at Leto to get his attention. With a huge smile, he signed, though slowly "I w-a-s- j-u-s-t- t-h-i-n-k-i-n-g a-b-o-u-t- y-o-u."
Asher Asher started running through the dance hall flinging fake snowballs at others who seemed to be playing snowball tag. As he passed by a table, he stopped, and looked at the snow globes displayed there. Awww, these were really pretty.
Meadow Looking at the plushies reminded him of when he and Aurelia competed to have the most plushies. He smiled at the memory as he picked up a nezubat plush.
Avalon "Yes, I'm sure they would." He smiled and tucked the plushie away. Suddenly, Avalon jumped with a startled yelp as something tried to wiggle between his arm and body. "W... what?" He looked down at a skyfish that was trying to nestle into his armpit. After a second, he just started laughing and moved his arms so he could cradle the familiar.
Ten "Avalon?!" Ten was startled by the sudden cry from his mate. What happened? He watched the hybrid move and suddenly he had a skyfish in his arms. "...Oh." And then he began laughing as well. "You looked ridiculous." Avalon tried to shush him. Ten was about to dance away before Avalon gave him a playful shove, but Ten tripped on a large, crystal-covered torti. "...festive." He smiled.
Nashira It seemed like no one had seen the candy incident, so Nashira simply walked on. As she did, she heard some kids griping over the books being handed out. She was curious, and looked at the kids, and one of them thrust a book at her. She looked at the title and blushed.
Nivasi There were a lot of what looked like home made crafts. Nivasi couldn't say he wasn't happy to see them. He liked the home made touch. Someone offered him a bracelet, and he smiled, taking it with thanks.

Tinú: Moving right along, Tinú shifts to another table. This one is covered in snowglobes and he gently picks one up to take with him.

Sylkie: Sylkie reaches over and gently fingercombs Habushu’s hair back from his face. “I’m glad you found me then! I was getting worried about you in this crowd.” She looks away for a moment to the table and absentmindedly picks up another book. Then she leads Habu over to the plushies, where she picks up a red Fennekit.

Habushu: Habushu follows behind Sylkie, appreciating the tousled hair and affection. He looks at the plushies, but doesn’t feel interested. Thankfully the table nearby looks like it has some interesting jewelry on it. He reaches out and picks up a glowing red lightbulb necklace.

Georgette: Georgette scooted along through the crowd, bunyip knocking into people and tables as it went. He stopped at a candyfloss table and grabbed a blue one. Hmmm, this doesn’t taste like mint..

Vígdís: Vígdís slowly crept into the hall, eyes wide with excitement. This was her first time at one of these and it looked so very very different from what she’d imagined. She grabbed a yellow stocking from the very first table, then moved on. A Kidden plushie got scooped up then at another table a bag of peanut brittle was pocketed.
Karayas--Carrying her new stocking she ran off to find her next adventure at the festival. Running about almost in circles she became dizzy and plopped down in front of a table. The attendant asked if she was okay, she nodded and stood up a bit shaky but okay. Laughing she saw the table had cute little trinkets and the attendant waved her over to choose she chose the reindeer ears because they were blue and made noise! Thanking the attendant she put them on and ran off again!
Kalek--Watching all the students roam about he walked slowly, taking everything in. How he enjoyed the festivites. He felt happy. He lost sight of Karayas she simply ran to fast for him to keep up, he figured he just walk around and enjoy everything around him. A festive colored booth caught his attention and he walked over. There was a game and special prizes to be won if you were lucky enough but only if all the spots were taken. He looked over the how to play and rules and shrugged to himself. Seemed a bit difficult but he wanted to try anyway.
Waiting his turn, he watched the group in front of him try and a Goblin won. The object was to take the small gun and shoot the water hitting the small circle just right to make your plush rise and if it hits first you win. He did not notice what the prize was he just wanted to play, he stepped up and chose number #4. Each plush was the same just different colors, his was Red.
The attendant said Ready! Set! GOOOOOO! He pushed the trigger on the small water gun and it hit square in the center of the circle and his plush was moving up quickly, not wanting to look up and chance missing he just kept on spraying, suddenly he heard a bell. Looking up he saw he had won! Jumping up and down he was excited. The attendant waved him to the side and opened up a heavy drape there roaming around were beautiful familiars with special accessories or clothes like capes! He was ecsatic! He loved famliars. Looking them over carefully he chose a very regal looking Spectrfox who promptly snatched the cookie the attendant was about to hand to Kalek and trotted off. Laughing Kalek chased after him!
Snow--SnowLily was glad to have Dayanara with her as she wandered about the festival. Her adoptive Mother and Aunt were following a bit behind close enough to be there if they were needed but far enough back to give them space to explore and feel grown up in a way. She loved the feeling. She glanced at the beautiful bracelet on her wrist, she loved it so pretty. Chattering away in excitement to Dayanara, SnowLily saw a table that held plushies! Oh how she wanted one. Pulling Dayanara over with her, she immediately saw one she loved and reached out for it but stopped herself to see if there was a game in order to have one. The attendant laughed happily and handed it to her, simply said "Enjoy little one" and turned to the next freshling who approached.
Daya--Dayanara almost stumbled when SnowLily pulled her towards the table that had plushies on it. Dayanara already had one but the excitement on SnowLily's face was something sweet and Dayanara followed behind her. She did not want another plushie so soon so she stood back behind SnowLily while she chose her plushie.

Dayeon--Dayeon was right behind his Sister and her friend, his Mother and her friend right behind him. He stopped when he saw them go to a plushie table and his Mother and Aunt did not stop walking in time and ran into him making him tumble to the ground, he began to laugh and roll around. His Mother, began to fuss and then she laughed to.

Pippi--Holding onto her Mother's hand and her Aunt's with her other, her stocking dangled in between her and her Mother. Smiling ear to ear, Pippi began to feel comfortable at the festival. They walked past several food carts and then more games! "Games, Mama can I play another one please?" Callie looked down at her with love in her eyes and smiled, "Of course we can, what do you want to play? Looking around she spied a water game and said "That one Mama, I want to try!" They walked over and she was told how to play, it was simple. The small pond contained rubber familiars, you chose one and the number on the bottom was your prize table. Laughing, she reached in and grabbed for a Green Spectrefox but missed and grabbed a Red Fennekit instead. The number was 8. Prize table 8 was next to where she was standing and she got to choose another trinket to add to her stocking, since she had the Reindeer ears she chose the Bell earrings to go with it. "Mama can you put them on for me? Callie took them and gently fixed them to her ears, they felt funny since she did not have pierced ears as of yet but she loved them! Walking off with her Mama and Aunt she felt happy!
Milseain--Milseain was scared, she was alone in the large festival. She knew there was adults that were there to keep a eye on the younger festival goer's but she felt overwhelmed. Standing still holding the pretty stocking that was given to her when she entered, she did not know what to do.
Kayndie-Kayndie was enjoying the festival this year she came as a Mother. Dayanara and Dayeon has brought her such happiness, both her children meant the world to her. Both children were having fun, Dayanara had found Karayas and were walking around holding hands, while Dayeon was following behind them as if keeping an eye on them. The big brother syndrome! Laughing to herself she saw the children stop at a plushie table so she took a break and decided to play a game while they were doing the same. The booth she stopped at was decorated in gold and silver. It was lovely, the game that was to be played seemed simple enough, it was toss a candy cane at a tree that was in the middle of the booth. If it hooked a branch you won a prize, but each section of tree was a different color! Odd, but she wanted to play.
She was handed 3 candy canes which had a bigger "hook" then usual, she tossed the first one and missed, the second one landed in the middle and the third one missed.
WINNER! WINNER! was heard after she tossed her last candy cane. "Your prize awaits mylady!" lifting up a blanket to reveal several beautiful familiars all laying about looking content. Kayndie adore her familiars and having one more would be precious. A very regal, princesslike familiar walked over to her and butted her hand and Kayndie melted. "Okay my princess I choose you" and it looked at her funny. It kept going after Kayndie;s hands, but she had nothing. A chuckle came from the attendant, and a cookie was tossed at Kayndie but the familiar got it first and ran off!
Callie--Callie was having the time of her life, Pippi was with her, she has a new familiar friend and her sister, Cyndal was with them enjoying the festival. To her this day was complete. If she did not win anything else, the memories of this day would be all she needs. Smiling at Pippi, she walked off towards a small food cart her stomach reminded her it was there

Cyndal--Cyndal was absorbed in the beautiful decorations and lights that covered the fairgrounds. They were so bright and vibrant, she wished her clothing could mimic the colors!
Please? That was easy enough to say. But now that the other had demanded it from her… Lily wasn’t quite sure she wanted to say please. She eyed him critically for a moment before sighing and holding out a hand. ”Please give me so,” she demanded before giving him a toothy smile. That should do it, right?
When he handed her some candy, she positively beamed with excitement. She stuffed one in her mouth and, with the rest, shoved into her pocket of her dinosaur onesie for safe keeping. ”My name ‘s ‘illy,” she said around the candy. Her eyes were straying to the snowglobe section on the table.
She hated snow but… snowglobes weren’t cold. They were pretty cool, actually. Slowly, she picked up the snowman building one. She never had the energy to build one before; the cold always zapped her of desire to do stuff, regardless of how bundled up she was. Staring at the snowglobe, she grinned, before dropping it into the stocking. The loud clinking sound of it hitting the bulb and the other snowglobe had her eyes widen. Quickly, she looked into the bag. Fortunately, everything was still intact. Phew.
Birkita didn’t care for the ceiling. Nor for the bustling of people. Standing in a corner, she shyly looked around. She had promised to try and make friends. Attending this festival was an attempt, right?
Mumbling under her breath, she moved along the wall… and spotted a game. A game where others could win trinkets or plushies. A simple ball shooting game. There were a pile of… books on the table. Glancing around nervously, she inched closer to the books, snatching one up and moving away when she thought no one was looking.
Once she retreated back to the wall, she looked at the cover of the book. Malice in Wonderland. Curious. Her glowing eyes looked through the book, intrigued.
Yaruka sipped the cocoa happily as she wandered the festival, enjoying the smooth and delicious sweet drink. It really did hit the spot during the cold weather and she felt a little better. She paused at a game that had people throwing snowballs at moving snowman targets that exploded into snowflakes when they were hit. It looked like fun so she figured she'd give it a try. It was hard to hit a moving target and she missed about three times but she managed enough hits to earn a prize, the person running it handing her a cute little plant and squishy aetherjelly plushie.
Danielle smiled as the nezubat decided to stick with her, giggling a bit as she carefully brushed off some frosting and a sprinkle left over in its fur from the cookie they shared. She never had a familiar before but this one seemed....special (like the little Aesteria charm wasn't a major clue.) She moved through the festival and spotted some adorable snow globes, picking up one and shaking it gently to make the little internal snow storm fall. The nezubat watched curiously and tapped the glass with its wing claw.
Guzma laughed as he watched Flossy snort and shake her head gently to get the wisp off of her nose. Oh these two were going to be so much fun to have around. He just watched his new companions for a bit when someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned and saw a demon in a priests robe smiling up at him. "May the Spear guide you to your every goal and desire." They handed him a fancy-looking cookie that was shaped like his zodiac.....wait, how did they know that? He was about to ask but they were gone before he could get a word out. Huh....that was weird. While he was looking around for the robed figure, a cockatrice landed on his arm that held the cookie, the clenching of its talons catching his attention enough to look in time to see it leaning towards the cookie he held. "Ah! Hey now, hold up there little guy!" He snatched it away in his other hand and the little creature let out a disgruntled shriek. "Noooo....no....that's not nice." The cockatrice looked almost stunned that this big thing was talking back at it, watching as Guzma broke off the staff end of the cookie and held it out for the creature....which, after a moment of sniffing, it took in its beak and chomped greedily. "There ya go, see? If you're patient and nice, people like you more."
Mariana smiled at her new flitterat companion as it climbed up onto her shoulder and nestled happily in her hair, warm and cozy. Ok, she had to admit it was cute. She happily walked through the festival while humming and singing carols to herself, pausing by a book vendor to look at some of the ones on display. She saw the copy of Malice in Wonderland and picked it up curiously, reading the first few pages and suddenly hooked. This was going to be a fantastic story!
Kean didn't mind the demanding tone from the other freshling. After all, she had said please, and so she did do what he had said. It was a little better than asking out of the blue if one was going to share their candy, even if he was creating a small horde of it at this point. He didn't quite catch her name through the chewing, but it sounded most like "Lilly". "I'm Kean! He replied, looking over at the trinket table again and wondering what he should take. He decided to take some peppermint bark this time. He wanted some chocolate.
Instead, he turned back to Lilly, whom he saw take a snowglobe. "Do you like snowglobes?" Perhaps an obvious question, but it was one of the choices and if he just wanted stuff, he might take one himself.

Talia had once again been distracted by playing with her new familiar, when a hand gently guided her back over to the plushie table. She first asked if they were sure that she could choose another one, and when they said yes, she decided she would! Plushes were always so nice to cuddle when one was alone. And you could read to them too! Though she would also do that now with her new familiar, but now she would have an even bigger audience!
And so, after taking another look at them, she decided on a nezubat plush. It was perfect for hugging since it was round, and it was so soft! Her new fennekit familiar seemed to approve too as it rubbed it's face on the plush. She placed the plush gently into her stocking, before wandering over to the trinket table again. She once again picked up another book, placing it into her stocking. She hoped to get all of them!
Lailah was pretty happy with her bulb necklace, and hoped that the light wouldn't go out too soon. Though it was nice enough to use even after the light stopped working. Looking again around at the trinket table, and after having asked if she could please take another one, this time taking a book. After all, a book would last a lot longer than a lot of the other trinkets! And it would be a lot less annoying that some bells!
After she had put the book in her stocking, she was gently guided by another over to the plushie table and was told that she was allowed to pick one. She thanked the vendor, and started to look over her choices. There were quite a few large ones, but taking one of those would mean she would have to carry it around, and if she was a grown-up like a lot of the others here, then maybe it would be okay! But instead, a blue kidden plush caught her eye, and she politely asked if she could have it. The vendor happily gave it to her, and she thanked them, before taking a look around to see what else she could do here.
Rowena and Tania started to watch carolers singing. Then a table of snow globe caught Rowena attention. She grabbed Tania hand and dragged her to go look at them. There was a sign saying free snow globes Rowena got excited and started to looks for one. She seen one that she liked alot and she grabbed it. Tania didnt really care for one so she went and grabbed a beautiful cookie and then something jumped and took it out of her hand. Tania had a good chace till she finally caught it. The familiar was beautiful and seemed to like her. So she decided to keep it.
Luma had a present for herself, and a present for her family but now she wanted to do something for someone else. Tis the season for giving afterall. She sat down on the fountain of the nine. You don't notice how much is actually going on until you stop moving and just watch. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a small fey freshling. The child was starring wide eyed at a the Fluffbug event being hosted by a group of feys. Apparently if you could catch one you got to keep it.
Luma got up and walked over to the child, kneeling gently beside her. "You like Fluffbugs huh?". The child was startled clearly not noticing Luma approach. She held a plush up to her face shyly and nodded. "I personally like flitterats" Luma pointed to Lyre who sat comfortably on her shoulder. The child pointed at swirly blue flutterbug perched on the other side of the glass. "Oh that your favorite one?" The child nodded again putting her hand up against the glass. "Well lets see if I can get it for you then. Would you like that?" Luma patted the small child's head and entered the Fluffbug room. She was determined. (One Epic Action Sequence Later) Luma emerges from the event, her hair is a mess and her shirt is torn at the bottom. Immediately behind her floats the blue fluffbug, now on a tiny leash, like a floating balloon. The child doesn't notice at first, more concerned with Luma's frazzled appearance. "I'm okay!" Luma laughed. "And so is this little bugger" She handed the leash over to the little girl who bounce excitedly, her wings fluttering. The fluffbug landed on her head, seeming content with these arrangements. Happy Solstice little one. Luma fixed her hair and picked up her things. She could use some hot chocolate. Cecelia lightly gripped the plush she had just won. Even if there were 100 more just like them, she didn't really think of it as just some cheap trinket. "I see. Well as charming as this conversation has been, I intend to find that book stand, whether you believe it is here or not". With that Cecelia nodded her head in adu and stepped around the Imp. She did not have all night to make idle chit chat and the sooner she found that manuscript the sooner she could return home and sit in front of the fireplace.
Winter looked up at the fluffbug on her head. "Im call you Blue cuz you blue" She whispered. The fluffbug buzzed softly. "Come Blue! Les get candy"
Bowie "So are you having fun?" Bowie asked Reed, blinking as David seemed to go after a plushie. "...that's not going to kill you. You don't need to attack it like that." He laughed, but let the bunyip keep playing with the plushie. Best to let it chew on that then a person.

Miu "Oh! And the plushies! Aren't they super cute this year? I hear there's an abundance of them every year... and rumor has it someone made a canon to fire plushies out of once." She tapped her chin as she thought about it, still unaware that the other wasn't comfortable. She also didn't realize she hadn't introduced herself.
Zaye Talk about stupid masses! Did... did that b***h just snub her? Zaye threw her head back with a 'humph!' sound and stalked away from the chimera. So that was how she was going to be? Well! She would find that first edition book first and then flaunt it. How dare she!
Sphinx She was so glad that Vega was there. He was totally going to make Leto smile again. As Vega started signing soooooooooooo slowly to Leto, she sighed, and tugged Leto's sleeve. She spoke as she signed. "See the pretty bow? I did that. Now you can unwrap Vega for the solstice!" She said innocently.
It was then she was handed the most dangerous of toys. Enchanted snowballs. Ooooooooooh she would have fun with this!
Vega "I g-o-t y-o-u a p-r-e-s-e-n-t." He signed, then held up the snowflake motif bracelet. He blushed a little as he offered it to Leto, and his color got a million shades darker. "U...un...wrap?" He could not believe that Spinx said that! He grabbed a plushie and hid his face in it.
Asher Over all, this was a really fun day. He looked around, and spotted a table of refreshments. A hot drink was just what he needed! He looked at the selection. While chocolate sounded good, Tea was his life blood, and he ended up with a cute mug of fragrant tea.
Meadow It was getting late, and Meadow was starting to get tired. Ugh, he needed sugar, and he needed it now. And right on cue, he was given a bag of candies. Oh good! He popped some candies into his mouth.
Avalon "I never look ridiculous. I was totally adorable and you know it." He smiled as he virtually cuddled the skyfish. It wiggled happily in his arms. "Oh? What's this?" He blinked as he found a lovely gold-ish bracelet on the skyfish's tail. He carefully removed it and it seemed the fish was happier. "You must have wiggled through the booths." Avalon accused teasingly.
Ten Ten watched as Avalon cooed over the skyfish. He sighed. Avalon was so motherly, even to familiars. He really was just too perfect. "I still don't know how I managed to make you happy will forever elude me." He gave Avalon a kiss. "Mmmmh, now I'm jealous of the skyfish. I want cuddles like that. I guess I need to find something to cuddle." And a near by plushie was his victim.
Nashira One of Nashira's downfalls was she did indeed love shiny things. When she saw a table of bracelets, she couldn't help but check them out. Before long she walked away with a pretty little bracelet
Nivasi One thing the hallowed nixie didn't appreciate was when he was confused for a child. Someone walked by and set a pair of antlers on his head, and Nivasi was sure that whoever that was just now... thought he was a child. He sighed, but smiled.
