Hunting :: xxxxxRéalta views few things as more enjoyable than the instinctive urge to stalk and hunt prey. Her size and place in a city be damned--there are more than enough creatures running around the streets for her to occupy herself with. Of course, her interest in hunting is not restricted solely to animal prey--she enjoys stalking and surveying humans as well, learning their routines, likes and dislikes, and cataloging the information away. Not that she often hunts them, in the traditional sense, but that being said. She's not against ambushes that result in someone getting bloody ankles if her claws just happen to catch them. She's just playing, she swears. Inanimate objects can also fall into this fascination for her, due in part to a bit of fascination with the romanticism of treasure maps, and finding secret caches.
Patrolling :: xxxxxSitting still is not much of an ideal choice for Réalta. Be it making her rounds in her home, going for walks, or stalking the streets to ensure all is well, it is her preference to be on the move and aware of the going-ons in her area. From sticking to the streets, to finding her way up to the rooftops--thick of the hustle and bustle of the city, to the dark forest and quiet suburbs--Réalta does not hesitate to scope out whatever zone she finds herself in. Learning the ins and outs of an area, including good hiding spots, and possible routes of escape if necessary, are some of her top priorities, but more than that, she priorities knowing the people in the area she's in. Bonus points if there are people she can talk to, but she's not against people watching--or people stalking--and just meowing at them if they don't understand the meaning behind her guardian mark. People who are happy to give out free, positive, attention to a large feline are just as highly marked on her mental maps as the escape routes, and people who aren't so fond of cats.
Singing :: xxxxxWhile this is rather difficult to hear when she has to play the part of a normal feline, Réalta does possess a very melodic voice. She is very much a lover of the arts and has an adoration for performers of any variety, especially. There's no stage fright for this performer, and she'll usually be overheard humming songs she's heard from radios, or in performance halls, or even melodies she's begun to work on construction of her herself. Usually she can be found near places were performers gather outside, or looking for the kitty cat entrances to performance halls, theaters, skating rinks... anywhere that she can watch and listen to amateur and experienced performers. She also has a deep affection for places that teach, and will listen intently to take her own mental notes for how to better her own performances--even if she can't join in on the classes herself.
Trophies :: xxxxxThere is no doubt that this feline is a bit of a collector in many respects. She collects bobbles and trinkets, not against asking a friendly human to help attach them to her by some means--a makeshift collar, a necklace, a ring around her tail. She likes dressing up in her trophies, though is careful to not allow things to become too cumbersome. Réalta also is very much a nester, keeping various hidey holes around her main areas that she roams, storing away her thefts and finds in caches for her to later retrieve, or use as a safe, warm resting spot. When she's decided a human is hers, if not perhaps a trophy themselves, she is quick to keep an eye out for trinkets or bobbles she could take from them to act as a suitable trophy for her collection in their stead--though that doesn't mean she won't groom them or fuss over the human any less. She takes good care of her precious treasures. Her humans receive no less attention.
Stable :: xxxxxRéalta does not waver very easily. That's not to say she's incapable of showing anger, or sorrow, or joy, but she tends to stay in a constant state. Even when riled, she keeps her composure rather well, though that's not to say signs like puffed up tail, or bristled fur wouldn't be present. But it does mean that in a time of crisis, Réalta can very easily act as an anchor for those that need it, and a calm voice for others. Her tendency to try and learn the ins and outs of places, and other forms of preparation when possible help in these situations especially, though no one can prep for everything. Even still Réalta takes things a step at a time, trying to collect information as she goes to be better prepared and stable for the next time a similar event occurs. All of this being said, if startled, Réalta tends to respond with a good bit of aggression until she can regain her composure--depending on the occurrence, she might apologize, but usually will scoff that the offender deserved any damage she might have caused, even for a prank.
Protective :: xxxxxIf you mess with humans in her areas, never mind the humans she's considered hers--be they her trophy humans, or humans she's taken trophies from--Réalta will very quickly act with aggression against the offender. But to those she feels even a bit of affection or familiarity towards? She can be very gentle and do what she can to help sooth them. Be it with gentle words, or a shoulder to cry on, or a warm body to cuddle with, she will do whatever is in her power to help. If she hears that there is trouble in one of the areas she patrols, Réalta will very quickly offer to walk with someone, or simply appear to trot along side them. Even if she is not capable of doing a lot herself, she's aware of her size, and will use it where possible to aid others.
Organized :: xxxxxEverything has its place, and every plan has backup options in case the first few don't succeed. Réalta keeps detailed mental maps of the places she patrols, and the people she encounters, with a photographic memory that has served her well. She treats her mind like a large house, in her own words, a sprawling manor where each piece of information is associated with specific images, smells, tastes, and so on in her mind to assist her in recollection later on. It is part of why she enjoys trophies, as physical manifestations of her mental connections, but they are not required for her mental mapping to work. That being said, she becomes rather upset when someone messes with her spaces and her hidey holes, or caches.
Flaws:
Unwavering :: xxxxxOdds being against her, and the fact she is predominantly in the form of a feline--albeit a rather large one--does not sway her. Once Réalta has a plan in mind, and a route she intends to follow, she will continue towards it. Come hell or high water, she will find a way through. Even if it means changing the plans to figure out a way around obstacles, or altering things in the heat of battle, she will do all she can to keep her composure, think quickly, and act as necessary to push towards the desired goal. Opposing information or forces do little to make her back down, though she will take note and listen to consider things later. But it won't do much to stop her if she has her way. Pausing plans, putting things on hold? That's acceptable. All-out abandonment or failure? Absolutely not.
Relentless :: xxxxxPut an obstacle in her path, fight her on a topic, or try and sway her from her decisions, and you'll find Réalta has not only a bit of a temper, but a very high willingness to use her claws and fangs to aid her as necessary. She puts a great deal of time into her information gathering and her attention to details, something that has long given her the confidence to do what she feels is necessary to gain the desired outcome of a situation. She's aware that not all plans go as desired, and will work quickly on the fly to determine new routes and options, but she will not accept failure. Even in the face of defeat, she will continue to fight on, regardless of her own safety. However, she will do her best to not endanger others, as her protective instinct makes the safety of others a very high priority in her plans. That is not to say she will weigh her own safety very high on her list.
High Expectations :: xxxxxWhile she is aware not everyone holds the same standards she does, she does expect people to try their hardest to live up to their full potential. This includes training frequently, frequent patrols, and research whenever capable. Wars cannot be won on force alone, and while that helps, intelligence on the other forces are also necessary, and she expects any Order agents she deals with to be fully aware of the war around them. And if they're not? To sit their asses down and listen, or if Réalta herself doesn't know the answer, join her in locating those that do. If she believes that someone isn't putting in their all, or is slacking off, she becomes rather difficult to deal with, snipping at them and making frequent house calls--or work calls, or jogging calls, or whatever else have you. If she knows places you frequent, you can bet she'll find you eventually. While Réalta herself doesn't view this as unnecessary treatment, or even harassment, she is very quick to remind anyone who she believes is slacking or goofing off that there are lives at stake in this war, and there is no room for half-assed attempts.
Teleportation is an ability Mauvians used to have, though the skill was lost to time. It can be regained now, though not by conventional means. Rather than being a natural ability, the Mauvian must unlock it; it is an engrained trait hidden within them and it will only manifest in rare circumstances where there is a magical charge in the air and they find themselves in great enough danger that their starseed resonates with it. Mauvians can freely teleport to their Headquarters and back to their starting point without expending any energy; Order Mauvians may only go to the Order Headquarters and Chaos Mauvians may only go to the Headquarters in Negaspace. Mauvians may also, once per day, teleport anywhere within a five mile radius. This is an emergency teleportation that does not drain energy and will allow them to teleport in a flurry of stars to their chosen destination. They can only travel to a location they can clearly envision, and they cannot bring guests, and they do not get a return trip--it is one emergency trip somewhere. This is most useful to Mauvians who need a quick escape or to travel somewhere quickly. Trying to teleport more than once will result in an uncomfortable tingle, but attempting beyond that will results in dizziness and beyond that, unconsciousness.
When striking an opponent with her claws Realta leaves the acute sensation of burning that lingers. The burn can feel like anything from a bad sunburn on the skin, to more radiating burning sensation--up to the player. The burn itself is a sensation only, the only damage to the opponent is the scratch itself. There is no limit to how often Realta can use this, and the effect triggers with each scratch. Duration: 10 seconds (Mauvian) ; 15 seconds (Humanoid or Senshi)
