Quote: Prompt 6: There's something on the roof. It has no energy signature, so it can't possibly be a youma or any powered vigilante, but something's on the roof. It sounds like it's clopping around. If you go outside and investigate, there is a deer on the roof. A fully sized deer, staring down at you. The moment you blink, or look away, it's gone; if you investigate further you will find that there are tracks left in the snow atop the roof--but none around the house. It looks like it just showed up there--and just disappeared. Hadaya was not the most athletic creature on the planet. For a cat, he was drastically inept, really, though he did not like to think of it that way. He did his best, after all, and that was what most folks could ask for of him, right? At least, that was what he had heard a few times, from gentle voiced people trying to soothe him after he fell on his face. In any case, staring up at the roof, Hadaya had absolutely no idea how he was going to get up there. But what he thought he had seen was... It demanded he climb. Whining softly, the fat, short legged cat stared up at the trash can in front of him. If he jumped on that and then tried to scale the pipes on the side of the building... he would absolutely not make it. Plus he was hungry, and that made him even less inclined to jump. "Ugh," he announced to the empty air that was around him. He flopped down onto his stomach, arguing with himself about if he wanted to try or not. Effort was such... effort.

The evening was crisp, and Realta knew she wouldn't be out for terribly long. The chill was seeping up through her paws, ears, and tip of her tail. The idea of heading back home to monopolise Raja's body heat, or Lilith's for that matter, while curling up amongst warm blankets, was a highly alluring one. What consisted of her evening patrol was likely soon to come to an end, at least. No troublesome youma had come to light, no unawakened senshi's starseed calling out to her, no troublesome agent to deal with... the night was quiet, really. Something she enjoyed and refused to take for granted.
Distantly, something crunched. Something heavy in the snow. She drew up short, head lifting as her ears swivelled this way and that. For a moment, she heard nothing else, but then--oh, there it was again. Blinking at the odd sound, she turned down a street, trotting in the direction she seemed to catch bits of the sound from.
She could have sworn she'd heard... something nearby. Her ears were straining. It sounded alien amongst the sounds of the city, but there'd been something off, just around this--
The lilac Savannah stopped short, head tilting as she took in the feline ahead of her. There was a trashcan set against the back of a building, and up above, on the rooftop...
Her eyes narrowed, back bristling as she thought she glimpsed something up there, but the tilt of the roof so high up made it hard to be sure.
She padded forward, mindful of pops of snow from other buildings and drifts formed by wind. Completely diverted around a puddle of melt water forming, with no interest in her part of having her paws freezing. Her relatively light coat already made for some issues with the winter weather for her.
Before she could begin the leaps and hops necessary to head up towards the rooftop to chase her curiosity, she paused, head tilting somewhat as she took in the cat down on his belly. The star upon his forehead told her all she needed to know, and for the moment, entirely pulled her from the question up on the roof.
Another Mauvian was far more important.
"Are you alright?" Her voice was light and she pitched specifically in hopes of coming off as friendly. "You're not too cold out here, are you?"
Pearlesque eyes flickered between the flopped feline and the can standing perfectly upright before them. He wasn't struggling to get food, was he? She'd assist, if that were the case. Though she'd have to search for another way up to the roof if she took out the can... eh, fine by her. She'd her priorities, after all.
And one of her own kind ranked very, very high up on that list.
"If you need any assistance with anything, I can try to help," she offered, unsure if that was being rude to just go off her assumptions like that.

"It's freezing out here!" Hadaya whined, perking up at the company. He noticed another mauvian, floundering a bit because he was not the best at talking to other cats. Let alone girl ones. He always felt so weird and awkward, and that was before he got a heavy does of self consciousness. Here he was, flopped in the snow, looking pathetic and stupid. Great first impression, Hadaya. The pudgy guardian sat up, taking in a big breath to make his chest puff out a bit more. And hopefully make his gut suck in a bit more. Speaking was a lot more difficult this way, though, and his voice eeped out with the first few words in a voice that was most certainly not his own. "I'm food. Fine. Good. Not food." He puffed the air out in a sigh, giving up almost as soon as he started. "There's something up on the roof, I think. I mean. I think I saw something, but I don't know what it was. I was trying to get up there but uh." He lifted his paws, showing just how short his legs were. They were certainly not built for jumping, and his added roundness did not help in any way. He had been working on his figure a bit, but the siren's song of food was always too alluring. "Do you think you can see up there? I am not sure how I'm going to get up there on my own, but I want to see if there's a youma up there or something..."

Realta's ears swivelled a bit, listening both to the Mauvian before her, and up at whatever might be up on the rooftop. Something sounded to be moving up there. Something heavy.
But she blinked, staring back at the other Mauvian as he sat up, and seemed to puff himself up a bit. His words were more squeaks, and she had to suppress the urge to laugh. Not food, oh dear. "It's lovely to meet you, dear. I'm Realta." She had to keep herself from making a dad joke with, nice to meet you, Not Food. He didn't need her teasing him, not in this situation.
Yes, his height was... certainly less than hers. The Savannah's tail swayed lightly. "I did hear something, too, which is why I came over... but I don't sense a youma, at least," she noted, looking from him to the tall trashcan a few times. She wondered if she could give him a boost up to it..?
Movement up above made her jerk, ears pinning back and tail puffing up as she stared up--and gaped. A large deer stared down at them from over the edge of the roof. No. A reindeer. She'd seen enough illustrations of them this time of year to guess that much. "I-I'm... very certain we don't need to get up there, and it's not a youma," she murmured, alarmed if not... well.
Rather awed. Yet, as soon as she blinked, it... vanished. No more hooves clopped up above. No more reindeer stared down at them. She blinked a few more times, ears flicking as she listened... and Realta laughed. Nothing. It was... gone. She looked to the other Mauvian with a slow grin, a twinkle in her eye.
"I suppose... there's more magic to this city than just us, hm?"lithiasaur ;; Know it's been AGES, but trying to wrap up Rps since I'm... horrible at things. Threw this ending in, but if you want to continue anything, or do some new Rp(s), let me know! <3333
