If truth-be-told, this particular evening had been one where Liryn had been planning to spend some more time over at HQ.

Well at least that had been the plan up until the point where the intriguing message that had pinged across his comm - but he had been to HQ pretty recently whilst working on Iðavöllr's ring, and it wasn't every day that an invite like that pinged his comm–

And besides it wasn't as if his plans for the evening had been set in stone.

The log cabin that had greeted him when reaching the location had been somewhat unexpected, but it hadn't stopped Liryn from nonetheless nudging at the door of the cabin until it had shifted open enough to allow him entrance.

Namielle's summons read more like a normal cat had written it, not like a Mauvian, but Viatrix understood the spirit of it, at least. It was very infrequent that she got a summons at all, really, and the concept of one excited her enough that she told Ignacio and Richard she'd be back later and happily marched right out of the house.

She couldn't quite tell if they were happy to see her leaving or if they were just acting so cheerful because they were generally in a good mood. Viatrix quickly decided that she wasn't going to inspect that any further.

Now it was time for Mauvian things.

The little cabin, admittedly, was not what she was expecting to find herself summoned to, more used to any Mauvian meetings being in the headquarters. It was, though, cozy, and she seemed delighted by the concept of it as she sauntered in the doors and settled, taking a look around. She recognized Namielle from the Moon and its terrible out-of-date computer, but the other two Mauvians were unfamiliar to her. She waved, anyway.

"Vi here! Namielle, what was that message, exactly?" she couldn't help her teasing giggles.

Purplish eyes had started to glance around as he entered the cabin, but Liryn had been distracted by the arrival of a grey-furred mauvian–

A very familiar grey-furred mauvian.

"Hi Tama" he said cheerfully, recognising the other mauvian from the Nekosuke cat cafe opening.
By then another mauvian had arrived, although the ginger-furred mauvian (Viatrix) wasn't one that Liryn personally recognised, although he noted that the other new arrival appeared to know the third mauvian (Namielle) who had already been in the cabin when he had poked his head in through the door that he had nudged over.

"It is a lovely cabin" he agreed cheerfully as he padded closer "I'm Liryn." Purplish eyes glanced at the mauvian that the ginger-furred mauvian had addressed as Namielle and then at the ginger-furred mauvian who had called herself Vi.

Vi? Viatrix? Maybe Vi was a nickname.

Maybe, but Liryn didn't ask.

"And it's nice to meet you both" his gaze shifted towards Tama "And good to see you again."

He listened quietly as Namielle explained why she had sent the message and waited until she had finished speaking before saying "I'd be happy to give you a paw - or even hands" he paused "Although we'd probably want to be somewhere more secure than this for hand things."

After all the other form wasn't exactly subtle.

He gave Namielle a cheerful grin, "But I'd love to help work on some things that could be useful."

Honestly, Viatrix could understand that level of excitement, considering, though she couldn't help the tease of, "There is a talk to text function, ya know." Giggles followed, and she clarified that with a, "Of course, I understand the excitement!"

Alright, so that Mauvian was Tama, and the other one was Liryn. Got it, got it. It was always good to know who some of the other Mauvians were. Good to know who could call back on if she needed a second set of paws, as it were --

Or hands! Oh, she was a bit jealous of that. While she had gotten the keychain that allowed her to access the civilian form for about an hour or so, it was considerably lesser than being able to simply call on the human form whenever she wanted. Of course, it did come with that giant aura... Advantages, disadvantages... "Oh, that's fancy, hands! Congrats! I would like to get them back more full-time," she squinted, "just haven't quite gotten there yet..."

Soon, hopefully.

Namielle said useful things, and as much fun as Viatrix had making little gadgets and apps -- was still trying to figure out the finer work of transporting a bunch of human songs into a senshi phone app for one of her charges -- making something useful was even better. Not that those things weren't useful! But-- "Imagine what a whole group of us could make," she noted, pupils dilating as she bounced in her excitement. "I agree! Let's make some useful stuff! I've had some projects but nothing really shattering yet--"

Well, there was the whole GPS that Almadel had given her, and she wanted to adapt that--

"Did you have any ideas you wanted us to start with?"

It had taken until the incursion into the Negaverse, into Negaspace, before Liryn had managed to get the ability to get hands with it somehow just managing to suddenly.. Click.

Although two feet walking had taken a little getting used to.

"Thank you" he said "Being able to have hands is useful at times but it's easier to get scritches in this form" he admitted, because Liryn was never going to be not partial to scritches - and (for the most part) wasn't too picky about soliciting for them.

"And treats too."

The (much) reduced aura also made it much easier to sneak into investigate places.

And as it happened Liryn did happen to know about a cat cafe that had opened relatively recently–

He had happened to meet Tama at one, after 'investigating' one by chance.

Liryn listened quietly as Namielle, mentioned living with a fellow mauvian who had made some things which were apparently open to everyone, as his purplish eyes looked interested, but Namielle was still outlining things so he sat and waited for her to finish–

Only for his eyes to outright sparkle at Namielle's next suggestion - because the star was a dead giveaway.

"I really like that idea" he said "So kind of like some sort of glamour device of sorts maybe...?" He made it a question.

"And I'd definitely like to help to try and come up with something."

Viatrix giggled at the grave expression, winking back at Namielle even if she let the banter sit there. Should probably let the little meeting move on, especially if they were going to make important Mauvian technology things, which she was very down for.

She settled in for the explanation, nodding as she explained that another cat she was familiar with made some interesting things for his bonded -- would have to ask after them, see what those things were, perhaps Encke might find them useful, or Basiluzzo, or maybe just in general because their house was becoming a bit of a senshi and knight nexus -- but then she mentioned something close to home. Something to benefit them specifically. Something that might help them blend in with other cats.

Oh, like a glamour device!

Liryn was the first to name it after Namielle, and Tama pointed out that they really couldn't hide if they went anywhere. Who was to say a Negaverse agent wasn't just lying in wait for one of them, to convert them by force--

"That's a great idea! I'd love if we had some better way to blend in. We already kinda figured it out for a temp civilian glamour, right? Maybe we can convert it into like, a temp kitty glamour." She tapped her chin with a paw. "Might allow us to spy, too. No one's gonna expect a normal cat to actually be listening in, right?"

A dangerous proposal, probably, but...

"And it would just let us go to places to hang out if we wanted to. Like the cat cafe."

There was something to be said about room mates and given that Realta's current companion had installed herself (rightly so) in the house at the end of the garden, it was to be expected that she would visit. Not that she wasn't welcome, Realta was very much invited to such things, but just like Viatrix she had a way with words. Namielle's ears drooped somewhat sheepishly at the teasing, all fair and all valid, but come on guys there was science to be had.

On the plus side it seemed like everyone was on board for what they all seemed to think would be a relatively easy thing to pursue!

"Exactly!" she declared with a warm smile and tapped at her forehead delicately. "We do need to be careful, but I imagine it would be feasible. We don't typically lose our power in our other glamour so it should theoretically be possible in this one too," she shook her head. "We just need to make sure it's easy to deploy and performs the same function," she waggled her eyebrows.

A pause.

"To state the obvious, not only do we need to not look like ourselves, we also need to ensure that we dampen our signatures," she pointed out. After all, though they didn't radiate very far, they had a rather easy to recognise signature when in close quarters. Even without the star on their forehead they would bleed energy in close proximity and give themselves away. The only way to survive in that scenario was to hope they were in a herd of cats...

"But with that in mind are we aiming to look like ourselves in the sense that our physical colouration remains the same, or are we of the view it should be customisable?" she asked curiously. She was rather partial to her own physical appearance and there were plenty of rag dolls around, but others may have their own preferences.
