Flutist - Shelley has been in a band geek since middle school. It has come to a point the girl considers it her greatest passion and can't think of living life without playing her flute. She wishes to pursue a career in music, but her father has his reservations about this, so Shelley hangs on to every moment she has in band until the time comes when she has to give it up. She practices four days out of the week in a local park because there was only so much her father could take of pwoteeet, pwoteeet before commanding she go somewhere out of the house.
Beading - Arts and crafts is Shelley's favorite activity. She especially enjoys working with beads and making items such as necklaces, key chains, phone charms, and the like. When her inventory piles up, she sells her wares online just to clear out her stock a bit. It makes for good spending money on the side, so she does it often. She also relies on her skills here to make gifts for friends when birthdays or holidays come up as the redhead believes a handmade present is more personal and special.
virtues
Philomath - Shelley has no fear of what exists beyond the horizon of those questionable and unknown to human knowledge. If given the chance, this firecracker will burst through with great elation to discover an answer unknown to herself. This has made her a philomath, as her seeking for knowledge is overcome by the amount of questions she asks herself. She misses school greatly even though she chose to drop out after her second year to take charge of her father's company. This curiosity even stems over to her social talents. Shelley adores learning things from people, curious what makes them who they are. She embraces her social curiousness openly. It is one of her greatest respects as a person.
Cheerful - Shelley's smile is like injecting a sweet, syrupy drug directly into the bloodstream. It is forever quick to bloom and slow to fade, spreading across her lovely lips like afternoon sun. Even when there is a saddening matter bringing her down, she is capable of relieving herself with a light smile. Unlike her father who curls inside the confines of his office when depressed, Shelley has an incredible forbearance against sadness. Nothing ticks Shelley off more than a depressed mess stretching a tongue about to lick their own wounds. No, she won't be one to mend them for healing but she will prep the person to take care of the scraps themselves. Sorrows to misery cannot steal away her joys of life, the barricade known as a brawny bosom keeping them at bay.
flaws
Selfish - When Shelley has a task tightened in her mind, she does whatever it takes to get what she wants. Her determination is unshakeable and she remains a huffy piece of work to shy away when she makes a choice. Shelley still has dreams—some possible, some not—but will use any means necessary to achieve them. She has been known to crack down on people who become obstacles in her path to achieve success; some even bellow she is being unfair for roughing up the weaker people. Even so, she turns up a nose and retorts her adamant trait is justified and correct. Shelley is the absolute value of one—one for the benefit of herself.
Brutally honest - Honesty—it can help or it can hurt. When it comes to dear Shelley, you better get used to the pain. She won't sugarcoat anything just to sweeten you up. Oh no, no. When she has something hurtful to say, she will never hold her tongue. She has grown up with a father whose tongue never knew less than a good lashing towards others. She has adopted this trait from him, never knowing that what she says is actually hurtful unless the other shows signs of it. However, her bluntness has caused her to lose great opportunities in the past. Offers towards her are retracted often for her simple expressing of a harsh opinion. She has been known to rebuke herself for what she says, but just cannot help it if something happens to slip out.
history
In the sixteenth year of their lives at Meadowview High School, Desmond Nickson proposed to his then sweetheart, Songhee Im, with the hopes of marrying her in the future. In the school year that they had grown to know each other and their passionate summer together, Desmond felt as if he had found the girl that made him whole. With tears in her eyes, she accepted, but their relationship did not last further than the promise they made. Two months later, Songhee became pregnant with her boyfriend's child and Desmond, unable to commit with a baby on the way, left her high and dry. Nine months later, an infant was born. With her fiery red locks and bright blue eyes, one could not deny that the baby was indeed her father's child.
Songhee's mother, already torn up that her only daughter had taken on a responsibility she was not old enough to pursue, gave her an ultimatum: Either the baby goes or she does. With a heavy heart, even though Desmond had no wish to see her, Songhee begged her ex to take the baby as the guilt of putting her up for adoption would eat away at her heart. She promised that as long as their baby was in his care, she would not seek him out again. Despite his reluctance, Desmond agreed to do so, and the baby—named Shelley—was raised in the care of her grandmother, Iona. After graduation, Songhee remained true to her promise, and kept the distance between her and her ex. Their only correspondence was sporadic texts with her asking how Shelley was doing and Desmond replying in the same manner, "She's fine," no matter her condition. The last time he saw of his ex-girlfriend was a passing glimpse of her on the street when he was out with friends.
Averaging C's in college, Desmond showed to not have much prowess as a student despite graduating. Though his future looked dim, it was quite the opposite—nepotism was his beacon in the unknown events to come. Having a grandfather that always favored him among his many grands, Desmond was slowly segued into the position of CEO of the family jewelry company. Surprisingly, Desmond exercised great control over his grandfather's company, and after his death, continued to do so for over a decade. He married Giselle Wilkens after their affair forced a divorce between her and her husband. They have been together ever since.
Growing up, Shelley did not have much of a childhood with her parents. With no knowledge of who her mother was and a father who had little interest in her, Iona was the only person the redhead turned to in times of grief. She did have brief exchanges with her father around holidays, but it mostly came down to what she wanted. So when her grandmother passed away when she was fourteen, it hit hard. Shelley swallowed her loneliness, though, and refused to entertain Desmond with her problems. Forcing a cheerful facade, Shelley dived into social circles instead. She made numerous friends, jumped between clubs, and even volunteered at several places to assuage the growing loneliness in her heart. However, soon this grayness in her heart diminished. She literally faked it until she made it to a semblance of joy in life.
However, she was hit with another internal dilemma after this one: What was her purpose in life? While one could chalk up her thought to typical adolescent angst, Shelley truly had no aspirations in mind besides playing the flute; a passing interest she had taken up in the start of middle school that didn't become serious until she joined the school band. Unfortunately, Desmond only saw her talent as an annoying hobby, and normally drove her out of the house whenever she wanted to play—which was quite frequent at four days out of the week because of how passionate she was about it. Knowing Desmond would not allow her to pursue a career as a musician, Shelley truly felt she had no direction to journey in, until the turritella seashell flute belonging to her past self materialized itself in front of her and she awoke as Slievenamon. Now with something more than herself in her life, Shelley has dedicated her entire being to her duties as a knight of Neptune and her wonder.
miscellaneous information
Shelley taught herself how to play the flute in middle school before she joined the school band in high school. Thus, she was a bit ahead when she started. However, she tends to downplay her affiliation to avoid labels like band geek.
When in the comfort of her home, she wears her reading glasses. It is rare to see her using them when out in public except at school.
Love is a touchy subject for her. She's a bisexual with a heavy leaning towards women physically, but has trouble connecting emotionally. She shares an on-again, off-again sexual relationship with her father's best friend's daughter, Philomena. The blonde, on the other hand, only uses her to get what she wants.
All of the jewelry Shelley wears are from her father's company. Likewise, all of her outfits have been coordinated and bought for her by her stepmother, Giselle. She doesn't have much of a fashion sense, and wears mostly tees and sweats when not expected to dress up.
When not in a bun, Shelley's hair is an untamed mess of curls at waist length.
Shelley's half-Irish on her father's side, half-Korean on her mother's—though she only learned of the latter later on in her life.

Reads: It is humanity's strength to thrive.name
Slievenamon, Squire of Neptune.
weapon
Turritella seashell flute.
attacks
Page No magic here; can play a pretty tune, though!
Squire Slievenamon can play a lengthy tune that gives a speed buff to any allies so they can run faster and dodge attacks. This effect is only active as long as she is playing, and once she stops, so does the buff. She can play this tune for up to forty-five seconds.
Knight She plays a more ornate form of of her squire stage's tune and it can be up to a minute long. Once again, the effect is only active if Slievenamon is playing (stopping when she isn't) and only applicable to allies.
summons creature
Sheegouna, a teal-colored Steller's Sea Cow. She is a little over four feet in height and seven feet from nose to tail. Instead of hauling herself around on land like a walrus or seal, she can "swim" through the air (akin to this). Her summons is held in the pearl of a hair stick the size of Slievenamon's hand from knuckle to wrist. It is small enough to be hidden inconspicuously in her bun.
summons ability
Sheegouna can erect a ten feet tall wall of water that can protect anyone behind it. It can deflect any physical or magical attack one time before dissipating in a splash.
miscellaneous information
Slievenamon's stance on the war is permanently grey. Yet, she has no desire to corrupt; the brainwashing aspect of Chaos, to her, skews ideals and doesn't allow individuality.
Rarely, if ever, will she engage in battle and would prefer conversing instead. She has a memo pad on her at all times to jot down notes on her enemy and would even chance a fatal attack as long as she could document her opponent's power level.
However, her selfishness prevents her from sharing information about herself or others to the enemy. If she ever is meant to bargain for information via trade, Slievenamon's likely to lie. To allies, she is quite open to information exchange.
Slievenamon is incredibly excited about other knights—especially Neptune knights. She considers all of them her friend even if they're averse to her company.
Even though she knows it isn't smart of her, Slievenamon takes the time to play her shell flute every night she powers up.

about the mountain, slievenamon, and mythology
Slievenamon (Irish: Sliabh na mBan, [sleeve-na-mon] "mountain of the women") is a mountain which is situated northwest of Carrick on Suir and northeast of Clonmel in County Tipperary, Ireland. It stands at 721 m (2,365 ft). Sitting at the western end of a range of low hills, Slievenamon is a striking conical mass, offering a dramatic view from the top over the counties of Tipperary, Kilkenny and Waterford. Much of its lower slopes is wooded. A low hill attached to Slievenamon, known as Carrigmaclea (aka Carraigmoclear), was the site of a battle during the Irish Rebellion of 1798.
There are two prehistoric cairns on Slievenamon. One is at the very top, and the other is on a lower summit to the northeast known as Sheegouna (from Irish: Sí Ghamhnaí, meaning "fairy mound of the heifers").
The origin of the mountain's name is explained in Irish mythology. According to the tale, Fionn mac Cumhaill was sought after by many young women, but he said that he could have only one partner. His partner would be whichever woman won a footrace to the top of the mountain. Fionn stood on the cairn atop the mountain and gave a signal to start the race. The winner was Gráinne. past life and wonder information

Past Life Information Name: Gráinne (grawn-ya). Gender: Female. Ages: Fourteen at start of knighthood; forty-two at death.
Wonder Overview A striking conical mass with a rise that gave an endearing expanse of the land when one reached its summit, Slievenamon came to be viewed as a wonderful place of rest, relaxation, and comfort—only to those of the female persuasion, however. Dubbed "mountain of the women" for a reason, only they were allowed to breech the limits of this mountain in service to Neptune and its lady. Located on the southwestern end of the planet, any inhabitant above the surface of the sea on Neptune would always have Slievenamon in sight along the horizon. Like other areas accessible via pods, it was one of them, and probably one of the easiest areas to be reached. It attracted all manner of audiences and, while most of the mountain itself was only accessible to those of the female persuasion, all were allowed to come and go to the music hall located on the fairy mound, Sheegouna. In fact, this is what the mountain was most famous for despite being a cosmic "gentleman's club" to women.
For profit, the mountain relied heavily on donations from both tenants staying in the rooms of the temple and the orchestral performances put on at the music hall. During rare moments, flutes fashioned from coral or large seashells or pieces of jewelry crafted from the large pearls of oysters on the mountain would be made and sold by the knight herself, but considering how busy she was with the upkeep of the mountain, Slievenamon would hardly find the time to do so. Thus, the Slievenamon of the past was very modest with her earnings, and seemed to prefer her frugal living conditions as long as she put her duties as a knight first. In respect to her devotion, many of her visitors would happily give all they could to have her continue her service.
Flora and Fauna All manner of sea grass, coral, and seashells could be found along the base of the mountain; the constant lapping of waves pushing flora and fauna to it. Thus, a wide variety of organisms from Neptune seas could be found on Slievenamon. The higher one got up the mountain, though, the less likely one would find wildlife save in the garden of the temple's interior. The most notable creatures were the turritella sea snails and starfish found along the base—varying in sizes put growing up to half the size of the average man. They lived off of the glowing teal algae prominent on the planet.
Manatees and Steller Sea Cows could usually be found swimming along the base of the mountain feeding on the sea grasses. Come the season, mating herds of both would gather at the base of Sheegouna to breed. This, along with the musical performances, would attract visitors to watch. Sheegouna, the knight's summon, could also be found swimming with all of them and encouraging them to play. However, her main purpose was to look out for any trespassers on the mountain and stand vigil over the oysters of the fairy mound that produced the pearls her knight would use for jewelry crafting.
Notable Locations There weren't many notable places on this mount to its visitors, but to Slievenamon, there were areas that served to be of great interest and emotional specialty to her. The first is Carrigmaclea, a low hill at the base of the mountain. It served to be the area where she first met, had her first intimate and passionate act with, and eventual burial mound of her past lover, Diarmuid. Though the first in her heart would forever be her wonder, Slievenamon would return to the lone hill every once and a while to recall her memories of the only woman the knight had come to love.
There were two cairns on the mountain constructed by the knight herself. The first was at the peak's summit to serve as a marker when one finally made it through the arduous hike to the top. Standing beside it offered the best, in Slievenamon's opinion, view of Neptune for any to enjoy. It was also a popular area for women to unwind, drink their spirits away, and even slip into the temple for private affairs.
The second was known as Sheegouna—a fairy mound that was the favorite location of the knight's summon by the same name. Though the knight could never figure out why, the teal-colored sea cow always trekked there when she was given freedom, and Slievenamon would always haplessly trail after her as if drawn to the spot as well. This area was also the only location on the wonder where members of any gender or gender identity were allowed. That is because low to the base of the mound was an open concert hall where many could come and enjoy a musical performance if one was being put on, free of charge. Slievenamon would usually be found performing here playing her shell flute for an audience.
The most recognizable spot on Slievenamon was the temple at its peak. Though it went without a name (usually just referred to as "the temple" or "Slievenamon's temple" for brevity's sake), it was always brimming with senshi, knights, and other forms of cosmic travelers within its walls. Less of a place of worship and more of an ancient club or bar, it housed large hallways, wine cellars, a bathhouse, and bedrooms where women could come and go as they pleased. Though the knight made her place at home in the temple with her own private quarters, she disliked going within, as the atmosphere was always bustling and wild with hedonism. Plus, it was too common of her to bump into a pair in the drunken throes of sex even when she made it specific, time and time again, for women to keep it to the rooms where they stayed.
Society As a location where women could come and go as they pleased, there were no definitive politics regarding the mountain besides general rules that applied to the planet Neptune itself. In other words, respect it as one would any other place on the sea planet. Despite being the wonder's protector, Slievenamon was more of a warden (with occasional janitorial duties) that oversaw those coming and going from the mount. She constructed ten items to abide by called the Rules of the Summit that were to be obeyed at all times. Every descendant of Slievenamon as a page were expected to know and be able to recite them by heart:
1. All laws of the planet and her lady Neptune apply to the summit of Slievenamon. 2. Do not disrespect the knight or her patrons on the summit of Slievenamon. 3. Only those of the female persuasion may breech the summit of Slievenamon. 4. Men or those who identify heavily under a masculine appeal are not permitted on the summit of Slievenamon. 5. Children are strictly forbidden, no matter their identity, on the summit of Slievenamon. 6. Do not disrupt the wildlife on the summit of Slievenamon. 7. Do not destroy or access impermissible areas on the summit of Slievenamon. 8. Conduct or behavior in and around the temple not conforming to the sanctity of the temple will not be tolerated on the summit of Slievenamon. 9. Sacred artifacts or items originally found in the temple may not be removed from the summit of Slievenamon. 10. Permission must be given first before any of these rules are broken on the summit of Slievenamon. The only rule that was to be stressed at all times was that no men or those of a masculine persuasion were allowed on the mountain. This wasn't always the case, though. After the death of her lover, Diarmuid, by the negligence of a jealous friend with an interest in her, Slievenamon shouldered a heavy hatred towards men, and banned them from her wonder altogether. Any who tried to break her rule, be it through a cocky male or a woman trying to sneak a lover onto the mountain, were barred from coming back on by the knight and the magical wall erected by her summon, Sheegouna. It came to a point that Slievenamon's distrust caused her to cast a spell that anyone who identified as such who took one step on her mountain would be teleported a hundred feet from its base.
