Slievenamon's eyes narrowed as she stared at the hunk of a beast hanging from a tree in the park near her home. The branch sagged from the weight of the monster and its dank, matted grey fur rose and fell with slow, steady breaths. Once again, the page had found herself on the verge of study; her pen scribbling notes into the memo pad she now considered just an exterior form of her mind.
It was brimming with thoughts, questions, and theories regarding everything about Chaos. Studying youma had become a side hobby to her and she put her life on the line time and time again when she got too close. So this was a rare chance—never before did she get the chance to observe one so close, however; especially when asleep. After she was satisfied with the the amount of notes she had taken, Slievenamon pocketed her book and then looked at her shell flute.
"This is probably one of the stupidest things," she said to herself, sighing. "But I have to do it."
Sucking in some air, she pressed the shell flute to her lips and blew. A shrill whistle burst through the quietness of the park and, with it, a deafening roar. The sloth youma was now awake and, when it spotted the page, instantly began charging after her. The redhead would be seen a moment later running as fast as her powers could take her.
"Ahhh, I knew this was a bad idea! Help!"

Since her awakening, Achernar hadn't powered up, not properly. In her bedroom, sure, just to make sure it was real and not a dream. But today she went out of her house. Testing her jumping skills was amazing. She could scale the buildings in just a few hops and it didn't even hurt! The dark skin girl giggled as she walked the edge of this building, heel against toe, balancing with her arms spread wide. It was like she didn't have a care in the world! The crystal tear drops on her skirt and in her hair tinkled and was almost musical in the night breeze. Especially when she jumped down like she just did. She landed upon a branch of a tree in the park and smiled wide. The park. Ah, the swings should be free! She jumped down to the grass and barely landed when she heard a cry for help. "Oh, God," she whispered slowly, biting down on her bottom lip. That was definitely a cry for help. She was a superhero now! She had to answer the call, right? "I...I'm coming!" But before she could head in the direction, a red-headed woman burst out of nowhere. "H-hey!"

Slievenamon ran right passed the chibi, but when she called to her, the page skidded to a stop. "Oh, oh no!" she cried aloud. The girl was right in the path of the youma! "B-be careful! There's a— Oh crap!"
The sloth youma burst through the trees of the park and stood on its hinds to let out another deafening roar. With nostrils flared, it heaved out pants as it searched out a source for its anger. It found it in the girl just before it. Raising its clawed appendage, it attempted to take a swipe out of Achernar, but Slievenamon intercepted its attack by kicking off from where she stood and diving before her.
She hissed from the pain that ripped down her shoulder blade. Then, after forcing her way through it, she gently picked the chibi up and jumped some distance away.
"I'm so, so sorry!" she said to the girl, wincing. "I woke up that thing and started this whole mess. I didn't mean to get you caught up in this!"

She was absolutely terrified once she heard something roar and then spun to stare directly at the youma. Her throat seemed to close even as this woman lunged forward and took the attack for her. Tears welled up in Achernar's eyes as she was picked up and carted off like that. "I'm s-sorry! I didn't... I didn't see it! Oh, and now you're hurt!" The chibi senshi squirmed and sniffled as tears ran down her cheeks. She used gloved hands to combat the tears and just shook her head hard. "I'll... I'll help! We.. We can do this!" Let it be known that Achernar was lying and shaking, and absolutely unsure if she could ever kill something. Her stomach was twisted in knots and her hands moved to her skirt to do the same for it. "L-let's uhm.. I don't.." She didn't know the terminology for it. "Kick it's butt?"

Slievenamon bit her bottom lip. She didn't mind thrusting herself headfirst into the fray if it meant learning something about her opponent, but she didn't want to bring others trouble—especially not a chibi. Her energy signature was too innocent; she didn't deserve this kind of experience. Still, when the girl mentioned she'd help her in bringing the monstrosity down, the page nodded her head.
"Thanks," Slievenamon said, but she wasn't going to let Achernar anyway near the thing. She'd bring it down herself if she had to. "Just listen to what I say, all right? I won't let anything happen to you."
The sloth youma's claws scraped against the pavement as it hauled its heavy body toward the sound of Slievenamon and Achernar's voices. Despite its strength, it was still incredibly slow, and didn't serve to be a threat until it was within attacking range. Slievenamon, noting this, looked at her possessions: She couldn't strike much with her shell flute, but it was all she had. Glancing to Achernar, she also knew chibis were quick on their feet; quicker than even the average senshi or knight. That'd be the girl's best ability in this fight.
"How about this," Slievenamon said, "take a few rocks and pelt it at the thing. Just to get its attention. Once it has its eyes on you: run. Run fast. Don't let it get to you. I'll come up from behind and try to hurt it with my weapon. How does that sound?"

Achernnar wasn't going to sit back and let this woman fight the youma by themselves. With a noise the chibi senshi pushed her hair out of the way and took a deep breath as she listened and watched. Her hands twisted in her skirt, tinkling the crystal teardrops before she blinked. Throwing rocks? She could do that. The younger senshi nodded and looked around before grabbing a handful of rocks and took a deep breath. "Okay. I can do that. ...You have to follow me though." She sounded absolutely worried for the knight and just bit down on her lip one more time as she sniffled. Senshi of Tears. Kind of ironic given she was really a crybaby. Harden up! You have to help this woman out! It's hard to do it yourself, right? With that thought, her face changed to one of determination and she gripped those rocks harder. "Just tell me when to throw them!"

The sloth youma continued to rampage and, in turn, Slievenamon felt her heartbeat palpitate wildly in her chest. Still, she stood her ground and observed the monster, and just when she thought it was a good time to strike, turned to the chibi.
"Okay, now!" she cried, pointing at it. "Throw as many as you can!"

The chibi senshi took a deep breath and started throwing rocks, aiming for the youma. "Get outta here!" She cried, trying to get the sloth youma in the face. That would scare it right? Achernar stepped forward as the rocks kept flying. Was it working!?
