Madriu gave Arcalis a thoroughly tired smile, but it was still full of warmth.
“Sounds right, migadye,” he said, more than a little strained. But they were not alone. He felt Amateru’s healing and Elkurud’s feathers, and Aberdonia’s papyrus sprung up around them again.
He could also see Arcalis shaking, but he chose to set it aside. Of course he was afraid. There was plenty of reason to be afraid.
“We’ll have to rest when we get back home. But not yet,” he said, and before he launched into the air again, he pressed a kiss to Arcalis’s temple, just next to those adorable bunny ears of his.
Then, he turned back to the Hollow, punched his fists together, and launched up to hit its underbelly again.

Sailor Scout Attack:Stay with Me!
Mirabilite utters a heartfelt plea, and sheds a single crystalline tear. The tear shatters upon hitting the ground - sending up a mire of iridescent sparkles that seem to coalesce and condense in the air around him. Almost like a glittering dome of static.
AOE: 10 foot radius Number of Targets: Only those within the dome. Number of uses: 3 Duration: 20 seconds Effect: All who are caught within the sphere are compelled to stay within it. Mirabilite's heartfelt plea and tears are meant to endear and focus them on him. An easy target, a helpless innocent. They're open to attack him - but why would they? She's just standing there asking them to stay with him. Just for a moment...
Should any opponents overcome the magic that makes them feel endeared towards Mirabilite and choose to attack him, they will take half the damage of their attack. This works for both magical and physical attacks. Similarly, if Mirabilite attacks them, she will take half the damage himself as well.
Mirabilite cannot leave the sphere, but anyone else can go in and out of it; the magic will compel anyone within the dome to stay with him, and anyone who attempts to leave the dome will feel like they are trudging through molasses. Because the attack can be seen, those outside it can avoid stepping into it.
The dome does not act as a shield, but if anyone outside the dome attacks someone inside with physical or magical damage, the damage will be split evenly among everyone inside the dome.

Cryolite thinks of his distant, frozen moon, it's doomed goddess. Then feels everything in his mind go still as his hands coat in thick ice so cold it burns. Upon contact with any moderate injury the ice sublimates into an encapsulating fog. This gaseous, soothing mist seems to seep into the very essence of the wound he's laying his hands over, and the moderate injury heals.

Albite’s tattoos appear to tear from his form, lightning quick, and lash out at his nearest opponent like mindless rabid animals. The magical bindings crack loudly through the air, creating a startling warning noise, just before they coil and yank across the opponent like an angry living whip. The player feels as though they've received a mild rope burn (pick body part) for up to thirty seconds, though no physical or lasting damage is done; only the very uncomfortable mental sensation of such, unless the target’s player wants to sustain any lasting damage. The whipcrack loud noise prior to the attack striking serves as warning so the attack can be dodged. Effect: Instantaneous Range: 6ft Duration: 30 Seconds Usage: 3x Times Targets: 1
Corporal Cypher, Vanguard Corporal Location: F3 -> F5 Action: Shooting at CH, following Vyn, finding Lys, aiming his weapon at Hugbell Total:1+5(rank) = 6 HP: 125-35=90-38-13 = 39
The commander’s words reached him… soft, and not meant for response. Cypher acknowledged them without comment. He understood orders, patterns, threat levels, while the rest… such as emotions, were just extraneous.
There was no judgment, just data.
Although he remained unaware of their destination, Cypher kept to Vyn’s flank as they advanced forward at a controlled pace. His rifle was kept raised while his attention was divided between the environmental changes and the enemy’s movements above them; and only when the opportunity presented itself, and the Calamitous Hollow was within range, did he fire once through the failing dome above them.
Cypher adjusted his aim with practiced ease when Lysanna came into view and only then did he understand why Commander Vyn left the safety of the Vanguard and Aliez’s shield. Not an impulsive act but a calculated and targeted move.
Risky, but justifiable.
Commendable, assuming they survived this encounter.
But Lysanna was not alone
In one smooth motion Cypher shifted his stance, targeting the unfamiliar Senshi beside her. His ComTech synced instantly to the rifle, registering Lysanna’s proximity. A safeguard engaged so that if Lysanna stepped in the way or was used as a shield, she would not be harmed.
He issued no threat. Nor did he give any warning.
But Commander Vyn’s voice was direct in his questioning and required an immediate reply.
As anticipated, Lysanna stepped forward of her own volition to shield the Senshi (Hugbell), and in response, Cypher took three measured steps to maintain a clean angle. Even though she vouched for the woman, but Cypher did not lower his weapon.
It wasn’t about trust… It wasn’t his decision. And until Vyn gave the all clear, the Senshi would be treated as a threat.
Dia cried out, wincing as the world tore through and around them, steadily he regained his dainty heels, checking the team with worry, unable to spare much more than a minute -- not with everything aching and the sky fizziling out above.
I hope this stupid berry does something--
If it was a good-night pill? A berry of mercy? But no, he trusted the bed-bug dealer to be kinder than that towards them! They were owed something nice afterall! He swallowed the berry whole and raked after the beast with small-fury and summoned claws--

Tenoch staggered from the pain of the shield dipping and his aim went wild, he looked to the others, and wondered if it would hold a second longer.

Forgotten Spell:"Taxane's Fire"
An eerie chartreuse green fireball leaps from Prehnties dagger in a radius of up to 20 feet; when it hits the target it feels like being hit with a baseball and contact is caustic enough that it can cause skin agitation or acidic burns. Lasting damage is up to the player, but the blast can also briefly poison a target; symptoms of poisoning can include a fast heart rate, muscle spasms and labored breathing for as long as the player likes. He can repeat this action 3 times.

Lionel flashed a grin right back at Laeradr, cracking his knuckles as he glared up at the monster above them.
The shield was cracking, yes; Lionel even suffered the consequences of it, a bolt of lightning striking him and making him stumble for a moment.
It hurt, yeah. He wasn’t exactly having the best of times. But he was gonna keep going. It was shrinking—and maybe it was getting stronger, but it was getting closer and closer to being contained.
“Just a little more,” he said, softly, and he hoped he was right.
Than, he launched himself up to punch the creature’s underbelly again.

Commander Naeria Location: F3 Action: Energy Draining CH for +5 to Vanguard shield Total: n/a HP: 129- 38-35 (making bad decisions) = 56
The shield was breaking. She could see it. She could feel it, although Aliez's smaller shield did a decent job of protecting the Commodore, and the rest of them, from the lightning that was beginning to envelop the area.
Humans were still gathering around to donate what they could to the shield. Some of the Vangard themselves were now doing the same. It was not enough, though. They needed something more.
Naeria glanced up at the beast they were all fighting. It was full of lightning Bursting with static energy.
She was a Commander, Vyn had told her. Brave. She was also a scholar, a researcher. That was her greatest strength. Seeing things in new ways. This might be a dangerous experiment, but the shield failing would be worse. She glanced at Andreyia. "I am going to try to drain it," she said, putting her weapon into subspace.
Then she jumped.
She would have been more impressed by the gravity in this realm, or the sensation of soaring, if the lightning wasn't biting into her skin so much. She managed to grab onto one of the creature's scales that had been knocked loose by someone else's attack. She pressed her Source Stone into the scales.
She could feel the way it almost instantly began to burst with energy.
Then she gasped and let go, crashing back down to the ground on one knee, the skin of her hands looking red and burned and her sleeves tattered up to the knees.
"I. Um." she gasped, handing her Source Stone over to fuel the machine, "I have identified the creature as a strong source of energy."
If nothing else? He was at least having a blast fighting this strange, otherworldly creature. And this time, he got an extra bit of assistance from the pin, apparently. Nifty, that.

He'd never seen someone rank up before. "That's amazing, congrats!" His cheer to Irkalla was perhaps a bit louder than it needed to be, but it was really badass to see! As it was, he took another swing at the creature, trying to do what he could to assist.
Squire Carterhaugh of Earth Location: F3 Action: Offering energy again (x3); buffing Aliez for extra shields with his pin! Total: 5 + 5 + 10 = 20 HP: 93 - 38 - 30 (offering hp x 3) - 14 (shield failure) + 29 (Aliez) + 20 (buff to Aliez's shield) = 60
Carterhaugh was willing to give, to anyone who would take. They were well-protected here, and even though he saw a lightning bolt nearly strike him, the barrier above him absorbed it—and most everything else raining down on them, even as the main shield failed.
This time, when he directed his magic, Carterhaugh directed it towards Aliez; the longer that shield held, the better. And he felt a little extra warmth flowing through him, a little extra power, centered on the pin on his chest.
“Please, take whatever you can,” Carterhaugh said. Whatever he could give. However he could help. As long as they could all get out of here.

Honestly, Karakorum sort of couldn’t believe all of their friends had ended up following them when Lanting ran the ******** off to go connect with his new geek-a** Nega-buddy.
Which, by the way? Totally cringe. Who knew what kind of evil bullshit this dude got up to, no matter how cutesy he was pretending to be! Just because he was also a FromSoft nerdloser didn’t mean he was a good guy!!
But whatever, Lanting was clearly enjoying himself. So all she could do was grumble and shoot another arrow at the beast, feeling a little extra surge of power from the pin on her lapel.

Lanting laughed, delighted to have found someone else who understood exactly how to handle what was going on here.
“So, co-op for this particular bossfight, then?” He offered. “And yes, that is my boyfriend, thank you!”
He puffed up, preening a little. Yes, he was so, so lucky, he knew.
And, look, he wasn’t immune to the knowledge that s**t was getting pretty bad. The shield above them was starting to come apart, and the monster’s eyes were now on them. But that just meant they were shifting into phase two and the stupid thing was absolutely gonna go down soon.
So he met Corvina’s pleading with a smile, and rolling up on his toes to kiss Corvina’s cheek.
“Of course,” he said, brushing his thumb over Almadel’s pin and letting his magic flow through them. He felt powerful, as he did—like his magic sang in tune with the energy in the air. Like the orchids bloomed brighter, more vibrant, in the face of so much danger.
He focused on Corvina, mostly—but a little went to Nekoite, too. No geek left behind.
“Anyone else need anything? I’m pretty sure I can do this all day!”

Pherkad- Senshi of Fans Location:E6 -> G8 Action: Using her magic to attack CH, moving Arthur Total: 10 HP:65-38(prompt)-12(shield) = 15
Pherkad wanted to believe him, but with the shield failing, lightning striking all around them relentlessly, she couldn't imagine an outcome where they could win a fight against something as strong, as fast, as lethal as the Calamitous Hollow.
Her confidence was wavering as debris fell above them.
Once more, she summoned her magic before grabbing hold of Arthur’s hand and pulling him closer to the outer edge of the shield.
Sailor Scout Attack: Wind Blades Reaching up above her head Sailor Pherkad grasps a hold of a magical partially transparent closed fan bringing it down to in front of her face. With a snap of her wrist the fan opens up, and brings her arm back and with a sweeping motion waving the fan directly at her opponent. The fan disappears once she finishes the sweeping motion.
This attack produces three 1' gold glowing crescent shaped blades which are propelled forward at staggered distances by wind with the equivalent speed of someone running. This is a frontal cone effect with a spread of 45 degrees and reaches 10' from Sailor Pherkad. It is possible to dodge the blades but still get brushed by the gust of wind (easier at a distance). The strength of the wind isn't enough to knock a person down (unless they are already off balance) but it can make a person stagger backwards a step. The blades cause the sensation of shallow cuts if they successfully hit an opponent and disappear after contact or when they reach 10' away from her. The lingering sensation lasts for 30 seconds and this attack can be summoned twice.
Super Sailor Eleonora, Senshi of Heat Location: H6 Action: Using her basic ability on CH Total: 7+5(rank) = 12 (not sure if I can include +5 more for rank that was missing in her previous post) HP: 125-35=90-38(prompt 2) = 52
Eleonora had felt a surge of power flare nearby, but with the the storm surging around them and debris falling from above, she didn't have time to turn around and take note of what had happened.
Again, she summoned a cone of heat and took careful aim so she didn't accidentally hurt an ally.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Cone of Heat (no flame involved it has the visual similar to heat rising off asphalt) After calling out her attack, Sailor Alcorb (Elenora) hands get very hot and take on a redish tint which last for 15 seconds. In order for this attack to be effective Sailor Alcorb (Elenora) must be facing the opponent. Putting her hands together in front of her a cone of heat erupts where she is standing towards the enemy.
Attack Duration : 15 seconds max (while her hands are red and together) Range : 6' with a 3' diameter at max range Effect : While her hands are apart they still maintain the redish tint and the attack functions the same as her basic attack. Once contact is made the area begins to get hot at a rapid rate and burns will set in, with this being a cone the affected area will be larger than her first attack. Her magic causes any area she comes into contact with to suffer the sensation of first degree sunburn in terms of pain/discomfort. If contact is maintained for more than five seconds blisters appear in relation to a second degree sunburn. She had thought it would be a good idea not to be near her sister. But now, with certain death looming overhead, Alcor was regretting her decision.
As the shield above her failed, and lightening struck an area near her, Alcor summoned what courage she had and attacked the Calamitous Hollow with her Cone of Cold.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Cone of Cold After calling out her attack, Sailor Alcor hands get very cold and take on a bluish tint which last for 15 seconds. In order for this attack to be effective Sailor Alcor must be facing the opponent. Putting her hands together in front of her a cone of cold erupts where she is standing towards the enemy.

If he did, Helene could do it. And if his magic continued to pull from him, to the point of exhaustion? He could endure that, for Kaifeng.

Ibirapitá's sigh felt like it shook his entire body. He understood that humans were considerably shorter lived than he was in the first place, but he wished that they had a little bit more patience than this one seemed to. Nevertheless, he pursued anyway, making sure to use his shield ability as it did not seem to be rebelling against him on the way.
"Eri, take the berry," maybe Abzu should take his own advice. Abzu dug in his bag, briefly wondering what the extra diamond he had gotten from Almadel's bag was, before popping the berry. He was relieved when Eridu took his advice. "And stay put, alright?"

With nothing left to lose, she summoned her magic once more. If it worked, fantastic. If not, then at least she died trying.

A three-inch-wide, whispy, purple trail (Think the Evil Queen's Curse from Once Upon a Time in appearance, but to a much smaller scale.) snakes its way from Hekate's palm to her victim, absorbed through the nose, ears, and mouth. Effect - The affected party will experience effects of bad luck in terms of battle, including less effective attacks and difficulty accurately attacking targets.(In the event of a dice battle, results are halved then rounded up to the nearest integer) Use Limits - This attack may be used three times per battle and affects one person. Power Limits - The effects of this attack last for twenty-five seconds. Weaknesses - Her attack moves at a casual walking speed and can follow a target up to 8 feet away. After 8' of distance it dissipates.
