Gender/Pronoun: Look, trying to explain his gender in Earth terms is going to get wildly confusing, since Madriuans had six “standard” genders and far more recognized variations in between. For the sake of simplicity, he/him pronouns will do.

Hated Food: There’s a particular Arcalian specialty dessert that Lex had to eat a lot while he was a hostage that he’s come to absolutely despise. As far as Earth foods go, though, eating his vegetables is a ******** trial. Why would you make him do this.
School/Occupation: Lex is going to ******** university, because getting an education in the past was a pain in the a** and he’s going to find a way to get one now.
Hobbies:
Reading || Reading, reading, reading. As a political prisoner on Arcalis, he was denied access to so much information, and had to rely on it being smuggled to him by Chrysanthos and other people sympathetic to him. Whenever he got out, he devoured any books he could get his hands on, and this habit continues now that he's on Earth. Honestly, it's not just reading, it's learning in general; Lex wants to learn everything he can and educate himself in ways he was systematically denied, because ******** the people who told him he couldn't. He can.
Games || A thousand years ago, it was strategy games on a board, and war games on a tabletop. Now, it's video games--especially ones that require a certain tactical mein. And also tabletop games. No one tell him about Warhammer (or maybe do.) Lex loves stretching his mental muscles, and loves to be challenged, an strategy-heavy games are a great way for him to scratch that itch.
Virtues:
Dedicated || When Lex commits to something, Lex does not let anything get in the way of completing what he's promised to do. He will always give his everything to every endeavor, because anything worth doing is worth doing to the best of his ability. He's something of a perfectionist, and holds himself to extremely high standards--but that's just the way it ought to be, isn't it? After all, there's no point in half-assing something and getting shitty results.
Protective || Lex lets very few people close to him, and he is bitily protective of those he does. If you are one of Lex's people, he will go to bat for you--verbally, physically, whatever it takes. He had to sit back and watch harm come to those he care about for far too long--now, if it is within his power, he won't let it happen again.
Justice-Oriented || Lex grew up in an unjust system, on an unjust world, and had to watch his people suffer greater and greater injustice and struggle to do anything to help. For some, this would have cracked their belief in any kind of fairness; for Lex, this just made him more determined to implement it where he could. No, the universe does not have an atom of justice or a molecule of mercy in its foundations, but that means that people have to work to put it there, and work to counteract the systems that deny it. Lex tries to give people a fair shake, and does his best to advocate for fairness where he can, because it won't happen unless people fight for it.
Flaws:
Unemotional || Lex has always had to bury his feelings. He's always had to smile politely at people he hates, and accept insults he would rather repay in kind, and otherwise put his feelings in a box, and all that practice has made it so it's hard for him to actually show his real feelings even when he can. He often comes off as cold, uncaring, and distant--just because he cannot make himself open up and risk being hurt all over again. Or risk other people being hurt because of him. The stakes may not be as high as they were a thousand years ago, but Lex still can't let go of the need to protect his soft center with as many walls as he can build.
Overworked || Lex does not understand the concept of "taking breaks," or "putting things on pause," or whatever else you might suggest that would take him away from whatever he's doing. Given a project, a cause, a mission, Lex will pour all of himself into it....and then he'll pour that little bit more, and more, and more, until he is beyond having nothing more to give. Signs that he should slow down are things to be ignored. His body's limits are merely suggestions. If he can run himself ragged, he must, and if he fails or has to stop, that just means he didn't try hard enough. Although, by Lex's measure, it's never enough.
Self-Critical || Lex holds himself to a much higher standard than he would ever hold anyone else, and he will tear himself down for failures to meet those standards. Mostly, he keeps the criticism internal, but it's been known to slip out, and even without it doing so, his habit of setting his standards far above anything that is at all reaosnable and then berating himself for not meeting them ends up causing him more harm than it ever does any kind of good.

Sailor Scout Attack: Struggle On!
Madriu calls the name of his attack, punches his fists together, and is surrounded by a golden aura. For the next 25 seconds, he will receive physical boosts equivalent up to twice his natural ability, giving him the power to struggle against difficult odds. He becomes physically stronger and for the duration of his magic feels no pain. To achieve the full boost of his magic, he must be actively struggling, and the more dire the situation is, the more damage he can do. He can use this magic up to three times per battle.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Struggle Forward!
Madriu calls the name of his attack, punches his fists together, and is surrounded by a golden aura. For the next 30 seconds, he will receive physical boosts equivalent up to twice his natural ability, giving him the power to struggle against difficult odds. He becomes physically stronger and for the duration of his magic feels no pain. He will also receive a minor speed boost. To achieve the full boost of his magic, he must be actively struggling, and the more dire the situation is, the more damage he can do. He can use this magic up to twice per battle.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Struggle's End!
Madriu calls the name of his attack and punches the ground, and a burst of golden light flows out around him, creating a circle with a radius of 15 feet. For the next 45 seconds, Madriu and any allies within the radius will feel a burst of renewed energy, and minor injuries will be healed, with the pain of more major injuries being reduced for the duration; these boosts come with a feeling of certainty: their struggle is worth it and they can overcome whatever obstacles they are facing. Madriu can use this spell once per battle.
Deep Space Senshi:
Physical Features: Madriuans looked mostly human, except for the addition of wolflike ears and tails in various natural shades and slightly elongated canines—though these were purely aesthetic and conveyed no actual extra bite power.

Madriu was a subordinate planet to its star, Arcalís, which conquered it many centuries in the past. Arcalians viewed Madriuans as violent, unstable, and dangerous, and there were strict laws in place to restrict their movements, both physically and socially. As part of asserting dominion over the planet of Madriu, upon Awakening, Sailor Madriu would essentially be kidnapped to Arcalís and held as a political prisoner.

He eventually ended up in a relationship with the son of an Arcalian noble house, but it was physically and emotionally abusive—Lex’s partner, Eithien, regularly slept around, and took his violent temper and personal insecurities out on Lex. This relationship lasted for several years, until a major crisis forced the Arcalian government to concede and allow Lex to return to Madriu to assist. Before he left, he broke up with his partner—which would have consequences he did not foresee.
Lex spent quite some time resolving the crisis on his world, but when he was ready to return to Arcalís, he was met by Eithian—who had brought something great and terrible to his world.
In the time they had been separated, Eithian found and made a bargain with a Chaos entity—he would deliver it Madriu and its Senshi, and Chaos would give him power. They fought, and Lex was forced to kill him, but it was too late. Eithien had unleashed Chaos on Madriu, and it quickly spiraled out of control. Strange magnetic storms destroyed what little infrastructure was present, and cut the planet off from the rest of the universe. Madriu’s weather patterns altered, creating a devastating drought that killed what crops were available. And as time went on, famine made people desperate—eventually devolving into outright conflict, which Sailor Madriu tried and failed to mitigate.
Slowly, the violence and famine whittled down the population, while the environmental changes destroyed much of the other life on the world. And after watching everyone and everything he loved die, with no knowledge of what the rest of the universe might look like, Madriu was left—entirely alone.

Jakob Wysten, father, Iris's son, a drunk with no desire to change.
Hannah Wysten, mother, an exacting woman with unmeetable standards.
Chrys Wysten, younger brother, resented Lex for constant comparisons between them (without ever recognizing that the standards Lex was held to were even HIGHER and MORE unmeetable)
Rishard Wysten, younger brother, ran away to marry a woman from off-planet and, by all accounts, had a very happy life with her
Margot Wysten, younger sister, snarky as hell and having the best of times with it.
Galene Wysten, younger sister, the baby of the family.
All members of Lex's family are now deceased, but he carries their memories closely (some with more complication than others.)
