Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Moon called.
Queen Serenity’s hologram made a promise to help the people of Earth, and she had.
It had taken time–weeks–but on Saturday, the 28th, just after sunset, there was a whisper from the sky. A faint tug, like a ghostly hand, was beckoning them. It didn’t matter if they had seen her before or if this was new to them, there was an invitation to the Moon.
There was no obligation, no pressure, only an offer.
If they accepted, they would arrive in the familiar area of the Spire, where all things seemed the same–except for one. A pair of great doors had previously been sealed with a silvery curtain, impossible to pass.
Now, the barrier was gone. The doors were open.
The Chamber of Prayer is temporarily open.
From the first step into the Chamber, all guests will understand that this is an area of great reverence. Once, it was open to only Queen Serenity. Now, she has shared it with them.
There is a distinct difference between the Spire and the Chamber of Prayer; it is undeniably in an entirely different realm. The entire room exists in a strange pocket of the universe not ordinarily accessible. This room is not visible from anywhere outside.
It is immediately clear why this area is under such great protection: a great crystal tower extends from the center of the floor up to the ceiling. It is a single piece of crystal, carved with more facets than could be counted. Even the slightest light was capable of creating a beautiful kaleidoscope of colors.
And yet, the crystal was kept in near darkness. It glowed softly, radiant and welcoming.
While this room is beautiful, it has been untouched by time. It shares none of the destruction of the rest of the palace, and though it has the same beautiful, marble walls and architecture, it has not been decorated. It is glorious in its simplicity, but the creators made no effort to compete with the beauty of the Crystal Tower in the center of the room.
Queen Serenity is not here, but her spirit seems to linger. Her voice echos:
- The Crystal Tower is our greatest defense. Prayer alone was often enough to ensure our protection. That is not enough now. The crystal has slept for as long as I have been gone. It needs to be charged. I was once able to with the Silver Crystal, but without the crystal, I will need your help. You need only place your hand on the Crystal Tower and focus. It will not take long to resonate, but it will affect your starseed briefly. You may find yourself without your magic for a short while. I urge you to consider before you resonate, but this is the only way to charge it. The more power you share, the stronger it will grow. When the Calamitous Hollow is near enough, the defense mechanism will initiate. Only it will be targeted, all of the energy will go into weakening it. This is the best I can do for you. I hope it can help.
She speaks to all guests only once, upon their first arrival.

For the remainder of the event, all order characters can visit the Moon outside of the dates of the Full Moon; they can only travel here once and will not be able to explore other parts of the Moon. Characters can offer their power once to the Crystal Tower; this will completely drain all characters of their magic for a short period of time ICly; at minimum, they will be without magic for one day, at most three. No bonuses can be applied towards this number, it is calculated solely on rank! A low RNG number OOCly does not correspond with low effort or success ICly, however, if players want to raise their OOC total then they can do so by doing event RPs/solos!!
