There was... an immense amount of things happening in rapid succession after the Moon Palace gathering. Though she hadn't really intended to attend... Metis had to admit it. She was glad she did. Seeing a gathering of Order like that again, one without constant fighting or bickering, was... interesting. She was reminded of years ago, and yet. This was a very different group, wasn't it?
There wasn't anything wrong with that. Even if she felt a nostalgic sort of bittersweetness about it all. There were people she very, very much missed that she was pretty sure the war had torn from her... possibly forever.
When Realta had shown up with the plans for the shielding satellites, Metis wasn't really able to help out on the device specifically, but she was able to hand the Mauvian some tools, talk with her and provide drinks and water. Helpful things. Supportive things. It'd been good for both of them, she felt. A time to talk, to tinker... to refocus.
That was what drove her to reach out to Niflhel and Snowball, grateful that she had their contact information on her senshi phone since... jeeze. She didn't even know now. A long time.
But to arrange to meet up, to talk... it felt good.
A meeting in the park, because it was the best place for it, where Metis could watch the energy waves of so much plant life radiate around her, a comfort that's existed for... over a decade now for her. She lifted her hand, watching her own energy radiating out from the silhouette. That close, she could see how it warped around the beading of the bracelets, the metal bracelet that sat thickest around her wrist. Even the difference between how the energy moved through her gloves and her bare skin. Such details weren't normal unless she was extremely close to someone... but it fascinated her.
After she'd gained the ability to see with this second sight even unpowered, she'd sat close to her parents. It'd taken everything in her to not start crying as she watched their energies form and trace enough of their features that, for the first time since she was so, so young... she saw their faces.
The magic came at a cost, but in times like that... she could behold the true gift it was.
She turned her head, resting her hand back on her lap as she felt another Order energy signature. A Knight. Already she began to smile, suspecting who it might be. "I hope you don't mind the cliché of a park... I couldn't resist," she laughed, seated on a comfortable bench beneath a lightly humming street lamp that decorated some of the walkways of the park. Beside her, a to-go pack held three strawberry-lemonade drinks she'd gotten for them, though made sure she had a lower, wider cup beside it in case Snowball didn't want to be in a humanoid form to drink it. It only felt right to bring something sweet as part of a... well, a celebration of sorts.
We're still here. We're still alive.
We'll make it through this one, too.

Niflhel had gotten the message and a sad smile came across his face, it reminded him of old times. There was a lot there to unpack but he brushed aside what wasn't important for the here and now. He'd been doing that a lot, and well it worked at least for the time being.
The nightmares were back, he wasn't surprised. They were just as bad as ever to the point of night terrors and barely sleeping. But the end of the world often did that. The knight was tired but he took naps here and there, seemingly sleeping more often than not even when he wasn't sleeping. Those few moments of quite slumber before the nightmares started were bliss. He smiled when she said she couldn't resist, however faint it was. "Ah, no I still enjoy a night stroll in the park."
He admitted as he settled down, snowball had been walking beside him. The Saturn Knight chose to stand, "How are you Metis, I haven't seen you in forever?" Granted he left out the fact he hadn't really done a ton in forever either.
Snowball, the forever cheerful part of the pair - or at least compared to Niflhel he was a right ball of sunshine. Trotted up to Metis and jumped up beside her, "Metis!!!"
He'd stayed quiet though he was pleased she'd reached out to him and Niflhel to meet again, the guardian thought it'd do the Knight some good to see other living people again and hang around someone from his past. Maybe it'd help. "Glad to see you again!"
The cat purred as he sat there looking over towards what the senshi had brought, "What do you have?" He asked curiously not one to allow for food or drinks to go unattended for too long.
