NEO-HIPPIE With strong interests in nature, meditation, dancing, yoga, human and animal rights, and reaching a state of joy without the influence of drugs, it’s not at all surprising that Juniper considers herself a Neo-Hippie. She enjoys participating in anything that deal with the outdoors and connecting with nature and other people. In fact she very much exudes that hippy flare with her bohemian style clothing choice and the way she pursues goals, no matter how lofty. She wants to enjoy life to it’s fullest and explore every new turn on the path ahead of her no matter what it might bring.PAYCHECK-TO-PAYCHECK Having gone to school to pursue a degree in performing arts, Juniper managed to get that all important piece of paper that said she graduated. Unfortunately she also managed to rack up quite a bit of debt in the process. With her parents adamant she not move back home, there was nothing left but to find a place of her own and pursue her choice of career. Things didn’t go as planned though and with no steady income, Juniper was forced to pick up a typical low-paying job while supplementing with any other odd-jobs she can find. Making just enough to squeak by each month, Juniper lives on the verge of losing everything should anything happen that would break her meticulously planned budget.
Of course working a minimum wage job means high stress and adding in all of the odd jobs she manages to find means she has very little time to pursue things she'd much rather engage in. Auditions? Forget it. Practice her violin? Can't do that when finishing with work super late at night without facing the wrath of her neighbors. Hit up festivals? Only if she's getting paid to be there -and- cane get the time off of her normal job. It's frustrating and trying to say the least, but there's little she can do when she needs money to pay rent, bills and buy food. One day she hopes to be able to provide for herself while doing the things that she loves.
So in an effort to save as much money as possible, Juniper makes it a point to shop thrift stores and farmers markets. She has also resorted to selling her car and traveling only by public transportation, bike, and foot which also works well into her want to reduce greenhouse emissions in the air. ANYTHING ELSE? 24 years old and still fresh faced to the trials of being an adult, Juniper enjoys her new life as a struggling 20-something. Sure, it’s not easy, but she makes it work. Both of her parents had similar lifestyles when they were young, and their easy-going attitudes rubbed off on their daughter. It’s certainly a trait the young woman needs to survive in the dog-eat-dog world.
It isn’t exactly odd to see the blue-eyed blonde positioned on a busy corner of town, violin case open, and playing her instrument in an attempt to make some extra cash to get her by. Otherwise she can be found barefoot in the park practicing meditation or yoga and just being one with nature as she soaks up the peaceful vibes the earth gives her. Of course, when money and time allows, she happily takes part in festivals. Many times even taking the time to perform at them with her violin or as a dancer. Though she isn’t necessarily making a living with her love for theatre she is utilizing the things she had learned to help fulfill her need to be in the lime-light and bring love and joy to others with her art.
Juniper is very much a hopeless romantic. She views the world through rose-tinted glasses and tries not to let things bring her down. This sometimes lends to her not seeing the bigger picture and jumping head-first into situations and not thinking consequences through. But, she’s adaptable and determined in her mind-set, and does everything in her power to achieve her goals, no matter what they are which some people say makes her blindly optimistic. Juniper doesn’t much care though how others perceive her and keeps just dancing along through life.
Living alone, Juniper had quickly felt the need to some sort of companionship in her little apartment. Cue her feline counterpart, Star. The long haired, mainly white feline (except for a blob of grey that resembled the shape of a star on her right ear) was found by Juniper when Star was a kitten. Obviously the runt of a litter and unable to keep up with it’s siblings, the little cat was near death when Juniper found her during her first winter in Ashdown. It took a lot of energy to nurse the kitten back to health, but now the two have a very strong bond and Juniper much adores her four-legged roommate who repays her with purrs and love.

KITTY CALLERDreamer PowerSee a cat? Want to pet it? Good, because every cat wants to cuddle you! No getting stood up by snob cats for you! BLACK PHOENIX ALCHEMISTEarned In Faerie Ball MetaHoly s**t. You smell incredible!PEACEBOUNDMeta Roll PowerOnce per day, you can interrupt someone drawing a weapon or giving you paperwork. They will turn around and leave.CLIMATE CONTROLRiser PowerNo matter what the weather or what she's wearing, Juniper always feels the perfect temperature.OVERGROWTHQuest PowerBy expending a little bit of her energy, juniper is able to make plants that are around her grow. she must be in contact with the plant for this to work but this does mean that with a touch she could have a seedling turn to a sapling. Overuse of this ability will wear her out and leave her drained and in a vulnerable state (which is to say that trying to grow a seedling to an actual fully grown tree is not advisable).

NEVER-ENDING BOX OF CHOCOLATES This box of enchanted truffles never runs out! When you eat one, another appears in its place twelve hours later. DINOSAUR BANDAGES X 1 Just what you've always wanted: adhesive bandages featuring fluffy feathered dinosaurs in arrestingly bright colors! Using one of these gives a +1 bonus to a healing action. No, you can't use them more than once. That would be really gross. POCKET SAND X 1 This one-use item will give a +2 bonus to a combat roll. But you're still spending five dollars on a handful of dirt. Good job. FANCY OTHERCHOCOLATE X 1 This delightful bribe treat gives you a +1 bonus to a persuasion roll when offered. As it's an edible, it has only one use.
