Juniper wasn't in any mood to chase down her cat again. Thus, she was not keen on taking the leash off of him, no matter how much he pouted. And oh, how he had pouted at first. In fact,he had refused to walk, which resulted in Jun putting the feline on her shoulders where he remained. He seemed comfortable enough and, even if only one of them was getting exercise, they were both enjoying the parks scenery.
There were quite a few people out and about enjoying the cooling weather. Autumn wasn't far away at this point and mother nature was definitely obliging by bringing in more seasonable weather. Juniper didn't mind. Fall was her favorite time of year.
It was amongst these people that she thought she caught a familiar face walking a dog. She paused, eyes squinted as she tried to take stock of why the man looked familiar. Is that Connor?
It clicked for her.
She wasn't sure if she should bother trying to talk to him. They weren't...well...she wouldn't consider him a friend per say but they hadn't been terrible to each other the last time they'd chat.
Waffling over her decision she barely registered, Star rising up onto his haunches until she felt the dig of claws on her shoulder as he prepared to leap. "Oh no you don't!" She practically yelled at the cat, and reached up to grab hold of his harness. The last thing she needed was for him to hurt himself. Taking care of her own stitched up wound was more than enough, thank you.
