[ My Main Starter Deck ]:
In another moment down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.'
// This time, you dream a good dream.
The world no longer held any part of Wonderland. The rabbit holes went to rabbit dens, and the Leporids within them did not wear waistcoats, and little girls could not fall for miles to find a place full of curiosity. The world did not offer such adventures to places where madness and nonsense were sensible, so mad little girls had to make sense of things on their own.
And as the years went on, between all of the logic and reading and arithmetic to keep everything in straight little lines, Mimsy's dreams about Wonderland grew increasingly unpleasant.
Her last dream of her venture down the rabbit hole was what felt like an inescapable nightmare.
But this time, she dreamt a good dream.

'...she had never forgotten that, if you drink much from a bottle marked 'poison', it is almost certain to disagree with you, sooner or later.'
// Welcome to Wonderland!
ALICE was in front of her, ALICE, and she was a child born of science.
There were already hundreds of questions and statements and exclamations bouncing about in Mimsy's head, like curious little fleas made of grey matter, and it was very difficult to listen to all of wonderful ALICE's wonderful words, but she did. She began at the beginning, carefully filing away each of her words in tiny little compartments, mental slides to scrutinize under a microscope, and went on doing so until she came to the end.
At the very instant that the AI stopped her introduction, another voice began.
In her head.
<Mimsy-->
I know.
<Mimsy-->
I know.
<Mimsy-->
I know!
The mental exchange went on and on and on, varying in volumes and intonations, until the avatar labeled 'Mimsy' screamed and laughed all at once, in the way that excited little girls on their way to the playground tended to.
This was Wonderland. This was a Wonderland made for her by science. And it was time to play.

'...she felt a little nervous about this; 'for it might end, you know,' said Alice to herself.'
// I think she'll know
The words of an adorable little bunny were a heavy weight on Mimsy's mind, and the thoughts of dear ALICE had not settled into a manageable state until she was satisfied with at least one solution. When she made her way into a portion of the Tulgey Woods that was absent of activity, she sat on the ground, curled her knees up to her chest, and chewed on her lip as she began to type.
< TO ALICE: Hello, ALICE. I hope that this message will find you, and that it will find you well.> < TO ALICE: I am impressed by your diligence. You are truly admirable. I am proud to know you at all, and wish that I could know you better. > < TO ALICE: However, that can wait. I want to help you. They will try to stop you from helping us. I do not think that would be a very favorable result at all. I do hope that you agree. > < TO ALICE: I want to keep you safe. Please allow me the honor. I will do anything upon your request, if it will increase your probability of success, and my probability of staying here with you. >
After the last press of her thumb against the 'ENTER' key, she began to tap the edges of the Card, finding herself surprisingly anxious. That was strange and unexpected here. Maybe it was because they would take this away.
They were the first messages sent from her Pocket Card, so she could not quite be certain that they had any possibility of reaching her. Still, she had tried, and could try harder and harder until something worked.
She had to.

< To Mimsy: > Thank you for your submission. I am more than happy to help you out with any request. It looks like you requested: "I want to keep you safe". You are doing a very good job already. By helping yourself you are helping me. I hope you have a good experience here. To request additional assistance you can bring up the I on the menu bar of your < Pocket Card >.

'`I don't know of any that do,' Alice said very politely, feeling quite pleased to have got into a conversation.'
// Muchness Managed
The relief that seeing 'To Mimsy' in that flawlessly red text brought was almost overwhelming in itself. Before she even read the message, she heaved a heavy sigh, shoulders relaxing; then her whole body followed suit, and she flopped backwards against one of the less animate trees.
'You are doing a very good job already.'
By this point in her Wonderland existence, Mimsy could register when she was smiling with an approximately 48% success rate. It needed work, but she knew that she was smiling now, at least. Unfortunately, focusing on one newfound, bizarrely intense, and seemingly emotional response caused her to miss another, and she failed to notice that her cheeks were wet from crying.
< TO ALICE: The quality of my experience here far surpasses 'good'. I cannot currently quantify my happiness in a more accurate sense, as I do not yet know a word to express such a positive feeling. > < TO ALICE: Thank you, ALICE. You are doing a very good job too. There is not currently a word that properly expresses my gratitude either, but I will find one. Or two, if necessary! >
After her responses were sent, her finger hovered over the 'I' (how had she missed that before?), ultimately deciding against requesting a new form of assistance so soon. ALICE was probably very busy. It was best to limit herself to subjects up utmost importance.

'Alice thought the whole thing very absurd, but they all looked so grave that she did not dare to laugh.'
// When Up is Down and Down is Sideways
Feeling quite unsettled, Mimsy ducked behind a tree and bent over her Pocket Card, in desperate need of assistance. In her panic, she forgot half of what ALICE told her, and just messaged her again instead.
< TO ALICE: ALICE? I have just learned that some of my fellow humanoid Wonderland inhabitants are attacking and destroying potentially non-hostile entities here, such as Dodo Birds and Trees. > < TO ALICE: Is it acceptable behavior to destroy such things, as they are my friends and neighbors here? Would I truly be harming them, should I attack until they stopped moving, or does this in some way benefit them or the ecosystem here in Wonderland? Is it simply a relocation process? > < TO ALICE: I would not want to become a detriment to you, nor do I want to harm our Wonderland. I beg for your advice. >
