7: You reach a tree stump and it isn't able to talk because it is a tree stump. It makes a great item for sitting though.
Unfortunately, Waffleberry only found another tree stump. This one was slightly more interesting, it's color being something with a slightly rainbow sheen, but other than that... it was utterly boring and of no help.
Or maybe it was of some help, since it didn't try and confuse her. "Hm." Shrugging, Waffle turned herself around and decided to go find that signpost again. Or something else interesting. There seemed to be much of interest in the area, she could probably explore a bit more.
Either way, there WAS a lot to see. Exploration was certainly in order.

"I'm not sure she is best person to recruit to find something as fragile as a pair of glasses. It's like asking a minotaur to carry a box of glass cups."
WD watches as the girl searched the forest floor for the tree's glasses, or at least made an attempt to look as if she were actually searching. Really, he couldn't tell, nor did he really care. She was his only form of entertainment and company at the moment, and from her comment she was as hard-headed as he was too. Best to make the best of a bad situation, right?
Just as he opened his mouth to spew another comment the tree that was bugging the girl a few moments ago spoke up.
"I have a small question. I have two friends-"
"Didn't yo-"
" Dilly, Milly, and Nilly. Nilly is taller than Dilly, b-"
"Why ar-"
"-ut shorter than me. Dilly is shorter than Milly but taller than me. How tall am I?"
WD glared at the tree. Clearly, the giant plant did not know he had heard the riddle a moment ago.
"If you have two friends, then why are you naming three other trees? Unless two are your friends and the third is not. Or you just can't count..."
"No, why, I do not think that's the answer at all. You are very wrong."
"Well forget you too. This whole place is wrong!"

He is a tad on the pale side with a face full of freckles and platinum blond dog ears and tail. The most striking features about him are his head of wavy red hair and bright green eyes that rest against pitch black sclera. Upon closer investigation one may notice the snake bite piecing along his bottom lip. An expression of annoyance always seem to be painted on his face.
Her strategy apparently did not work at all as she was led right back to the same stupid glasses crying mess. But while she was there, the persistent person in her told her to try again, maybe this time she'd find those stupid glasses!

A skinny girl of average height, Cupcake's eyes are the most attractive thing about her. Mismatched blue and green eyes are rather large on her face and take in everything. A splatter of light freckles cover her cheeks and nose. Light blonde hair full of braids can be seen under the green Mad Hatter's hat.
She couldnt keep track of what was happening....One moment she was screaming about her jars, the next, she was being held by the pink girl.
"S-Sorry...I panic when it comes to my jars. Im alright." Wiz slowly picked herself up, turning around only to face the same tiny tree she saw earlier.
"Guess what I have in my mouth?"
OH! SHE KNEW THIS GAME YES!? Wiz quickly clapped her hands together and laughed.
"SPARKLES!"
The tree laughed and spat out another item and Wiz jumped for joy before turning to her new friend Pinkie.

Tall, blue-skinned and purple eyed, ManaicalIceWiz sports the caterpillar garb with a brown cape and pink top armor with silver. She also has black pants and silver armor boots with spikes on them. One thing to note is her hair which is a shinny white, as if it was made of melting ice.
Overall rating: 8/10 would probably drink again. AngelofSong, (AoS as she liked to shorten), was happy in a way. Spinning her tail in circle, not really minding the whole feeling and vibes she was getting from the woods. Really, she'd seen worse. Maybe. She kind of just glossed over that whole thought process. Dreams were funny things, and so, what could she afford to lose?
Gaining things from dreams- now that was promising.
Israfel liked this place, the sounds fascinating and promising to him as well. After all, when did music ever hurt?
Being asked to explore by trees also didn't hurt. Not that she remembered anyway.

A tiny girl with curling brown hair and eyes, she wears a pink an white outfit with mouse like ears and tail. He tilts her head often and sniffs things.
A small smirk found its way onto her face and she topped, staring at the set of teeth. She couldn't be sure but it looked like an animal. That could make for an interesting hunt. "I doubt that, it's hard to be lost when you don't know where you are to begin with." She began, a glint in her eyes.
But it was gone.
She hadn't even noticed it move, let alone completely vanish. The smirk remained and she could feel the adrenaline slowly entering her veins. At least it was better than talking to the trees.

Robert giggled wildly and found his first tree, holding his hand out for a shake. It did not reciprocate, and Robert thought that very rude. Furthermore, the tree did not talk like the sign did, which made no sense at all since they were both made of wood. All in all, Robert found the tree to be very naughty.
"Where should we go, headvoice? Everywhere, or nowhere? I've never been to nowhere. Think it's nice this time of year?"

Cat frowned, and gave the tree's question some thought. He was typically fairly good with riddles, but this was a conundrum. If the tree only had two friends, then why were there three names?? Was the tree one of the names?? That made little sense, as if it were, it were surely both taller and shorter than itself. And if it weren't, it was still both taller and shorter than everyone else.
Needless to say, there was no point in even asking.

Tall and thin with silver eyes that watch with tempered skepticism behind dark spectacles. He wears black boots, a loose black coat and matching hat that just cover his pointed ears, along with a fading pale-striped scarf and leggings. His long black tail fades into a white wisp, and at the hands of his blackened arms are white deadly, razor claws.
So this one was certainly a surprise, with all its color and brightness. It hurt her eyes just to look at it and she found herself squinting as she followed the trail cautiously. Slowly, slowly, she became more accustomed to the light, and found herself at a hole.
There was no reason to stay. No reason to stay and wait for it all to be engulfed with thunder and rocky waves, and so she dived into the hole. She had expected nothingness.
And it came when she drank it.
She found herself facing a girl dressed in blue, who addressed her as "sealed". She found herself decked out in darker blues, with a tail and ears and her hair even touched her shoulders. It was a strange, strange feeling, but sealed found herself accepting it anyway.
Everything was blindingly colorful. She thought she would be annoyed by the music, but she certainly wasn't.

This tree finding nonsense wasn't quite wearing on his nerves, but with just the second one he was already annoyed. Mostly because, on choosing a tree at random, he managed to approach a stump. And not just any stump, but a stump with a rogueish lump on it.

Then again, with his luck? That green brat was actually a tree.

There was just something odd about trees talking, but Ra.One was starting to get used to strange. So when a tree asked her to shake it? She was more than happy to do so.
Even if "shaking it" involved kicking it repeatedly. The tree seemed to like it at least, and who was she to question that? Getting a prize for her efforts was just the icing on the cake in her opinion, and she walked away from the tree whistling.

This was Wonderland. This was a Wonderland made for her by science. And it was time to play.
It made perfect sense to listen to a signpost speak, without a mouth, about the Tulgey Woods and everything and nothing at all. So Mimsy listened with wide eyes and a broad, even smile, patiently awaiting her instructions. Directions were very important, after all - as eager as she was to explore every inch of this world before waking, she did not want to take any sort of risk that might ruin that. It was for her safety to follow the guidelines here, just like the absolutely crucial lab safety guidelines in her world.
Except emergency spills might be okay here.
Well. Nevermind.
Still, she listened, and began to bounce on her toes when the very helpful signpost suggested some exploration. Why, it was like it knew exactly what she had hoped for!
"I will be most polite to the trees, I assure you," she told the signpost, with a polite bow of her head. As she turned and set off on her exploration, she found herself hoping for someone to share this with--

Much to Robert's delight, the next tree he met did have arms! They were crossed, but this was still an improvement! And - yes! - it even talked to him. He knew that first tree had just been holding back.

The story this tree had to tell shocked Robert, and he took his hat off and held it against his chest mournfully. "I understand, Mister Tree. I'm sorry that those before me were dicks. I'm not a d**k, but I also can't blame you for holding out on me. Still!" He popped the hat back on his head, and grinned. "At least we had ourselves a chat!"
Resort to violence. Oh, please, pleaaase resort to violence.
