This short manual teaches the user how to use your magic and transfer it to the plants (yes even fire magic!) and use it to help them grow.
Chapter 1 covers basic control and offers tips on how to transfer your power with out harming the plant or yourself. Allows you to heal and grow a plant to larger than normal sizes. Any fruit or seed is effect and is larger as well!Can only be done once a week. Chapter two expands a caster's skills allowing them more finesse and teaches the castor how to use your magic to safely grow a plant faster than normal. (Seed to young tree for example). This is exhausting and you can only do it once a month. You cna however, cause a small garden to grow it's plants larger (like chapter 1 spell). Chapter 3 shows you how to use the healthy land around you to influence the plants. Can make a small farm's worth of plants grow faster and larger. .
Magical Incantation: Muoroula Realira Category: Non Battle Tome Type: Healing Description:
This short manual teaches the user how to transfer your power to the Earth and heal it. Can be used to remove the effects of salt or poison in the land, and help heal farm lands that have been over used and the soils have no nutrients and are tired.
Chapter 1 covers basic control and offers tips on how to transfer your power with out harming the land or yourself. Allows you to effect a small garden. Ability drains you, can only use this once a month. Chapter two expands a caster's skills allowing them more finesse and the ability to bring in power from the surrounding air and from within to heal a greater area. You can help one farm area of land. Ability is still draining, but you recover after a week. Chapter 3 shows you how to use the healthy land around you to heal the hurting land. Tells you the signs of magical damage vs physical damage or just tired earth. You can now reverse any magical damage done to the land itself. This still drains you, but you recover after a bout a week.
Magical Incantation: Mouree Oulouren Category: Non Battle Tome Type: Protective Description:
This tome teaches you the special runes in which you can store magic that grows vines to trap something when triggered. Chapter 1: The rune written here can hold 2 charges within it. It triggers when anything of a specified size (you say when you inscribe it) passes within a foot. Vines are like rope, they can be cut to escape. Vines will last only for a few minutes. Chapter 2: The runes taught here holds 4 charges and can be restricted to trigger only against specific race and size. (Like all Dovaa ) Vines are still like rope and can be easily cut. They last an hour. They can, if you wish, grow thorns now. Chapter 3: The runes taught here holds 8 charges and can be changed into a specific plant. Like rose vines, Venus fly traps (if you want to catch bugs...), etc. They are magically strengthened and take longer to cut. They last 2 hours.
Rune must be placed upon a solid wooden surface (like a door or tree) or hard earthen surface (rocks or hardened soil). It cannot be places upon an item. Rune's need to be at least a foot apart from other runes! (all runes, like the Lightning Runes or Alarm Runes)

Levitation is quite a useful skill for the peoples of Magesc. This tome contains a handy guide to mastering the art.
Chapter 1 covers basic control and offers tips on how to handle objects as heavy as a small sized canine (10lbs or 4.5kg). Chapter two expands a caster's skills allowing them more finesse and the ability to control multiple objects at a time as well as heavier things than before (200lbs or 90kg). Chapter 3 covers how to magically support the levitating of massive and unwieldy objects like horses, logs, and boulders (840lbs or 381kg).
Magical Incantation: Lufunay Maau Category: Battle Tome Type: Defensive Description:
This short manual teaches the user how to create a solid shield of magic which reflects all incoming magical or physical damage once. Once cast, the shield remains up until a successful attack connects and the spell cannot be cast again that battle. Damage returned to attacker is their original damage. Opponent's block/ward do not apply.
In a multiple vs one situation reflection shield will only reflect the attack of the first opponent to land a hit, all other successful opponent's hits that round will land as normal.
Can be used in RP's to summon a shiny shield.

This tome teaches you the special runes in which you can store magic that creates a loud noise when triggered. Chapter 1: The rune written here can hold 3 charges within it. It will scream if anything gets within a foot of it. You can create a limit of 1 race. "Scream only if Dovaa approach." Or "Scream for all non Dovaa." Chapter 2: The runes taught here holds 10 charges and can be restricted to trigger only against specific people. Like "All non family" A hair from each person you wish it to not trigger for is needed.

A Handy Tome
Magical Incantation: Loriantharla Category: Battle and Non-Battle Tome Type: Neutral Description:Created by/for reirelight.
This tome teaches one how to concentrate magic into the shape of hands that can do simple tasks for it's owner. It teaches one how to cast it and then maintain the spell without having to concentrate on the hands to maintain the spell.
Battle: The hands can be summoned and used to distract an enemy; the hands cannot deal attacks, they are only able to distract. -10% to one foe's To Hit Die for 3 rounds. Can only be used once per battle.
Chapter 1 covers basic control and the summoned hands can only do the most mundane of tasks: fetching and holding things. They can only carry about 5 lb's worth. The hands will only last for 1 hour before the magic runs out and they vanish. Chapter 2 teaches how to strengthen the hands and impart more finesse. The hands are getting more capable, you are able to get some slightly more skillful tasks out of them like cleaning(though nothing breakable), simple stitches for mending, and they can carry up to 15 lb's worth. The hands only last for 3 hours. Chapter 3 expands upon earlier knowledge. The summoned hands can be trusted to not break anything delicate when cleaning, they can do some cooking skills (like that evil tossing of food in pan and catching it.. they can do this), and they can carry up to 50 lb's now. They last for 6 hours.

Master: Can warm even a massive room, with concentration, or pump a great amount of heat into something smaller. Control is also better.

The spell contained in this tome allows the user to create a fist sized orb of golden light. Most useful for exploring in the dark should you run out of torches or other light sources. Experts and Masters can create multiple orbs of varying colors.
Can be used out of combat to create globes of light as well.

-Clothing:Avani loves dresses when she's not farming or running around with her friends. She is usually dressed in her cream dress with a dark green jacket trimmed with orange on the cuffs, and a green undershirt. She has on pumpkin orange and dark green socks. She also has a wing cover that is green with orange beads hanging off of them. She loves the covers so much that she only wears them on special family gatherings and holidays. She also sports pumpkin earnings her grandmother gave her before she died.
As she grew, new clothes were needed, so she now sports her favorite green dress with a cream flower flower petal fringe. Her dark green wing covers are short, but practical, with gold spiral designs. And one must always have a kerchief on hand as well, and Avani has her trusty orange cream one always one hand, hanging around her neck. This is her mode of dress when not dealing with the animals or mucky work. For that she wears some overalls and a orange cream shirt with a wide brimmed hat. Still she wears her grandmother's pumpkin earrings, the best part of her ensemble, according to her.
-Description:Avani has peach colored skin and green colored eyes from her mother. Her pumpkin orange hair and round face come from her father.
-Personality:Avani loves life. She has a smile for everyone, and tries her best to have fun if she is bored with anything. She can always entertain herself in any situation. If she is angry, she usaly is quiet, but if you mess with her friends or with her, she won't hesitate to resort to violence for self defense. When tinkering, she can get so focused on a project that she tones out anything else.
-Likes:Her plushie pumpkin Kin, Nix and Honoka, Cake, Mama's cooking, being with Papa in the fields, digging in the dirt, climbing trees, nice people, reading books on farming methods and mechanics, the color green and orange, tinkering.
-Dislikes:Spiders, broccoli, baths, mean and rude people, finding out her loyalty is one sided, working the plow with the Hastar's, having to quit her projects or fun for meals and such.
-Strengths:Loyal, curious, helpful, brave (except when spiders are involved), decent knowledge of farming methods from reading books.
-Weaknesses:Her curiousness, her tinkering, her adventuring, her mother's cakes and cookies.
-Quirks:Loves to climb things and try to glide down. Once she was stopped just in time from jumping from the house roof. She loves to go on "adventures" with her friends and stay out of doors all day. She also tries to get her friends to go along with an adventure if they are around. If she gets sad or lonely she just finds her stuffed pumpkin "Kin", and holds him tight.
She also loves to go shopping in the seed and supply store where there is any manner of interesting things to look at. She also loves to go to her "secret" lake and take a swim with her fea Nix and khehroa charge Honoka.
-Fears:Spiders, loosing the farm, loosing her family and friends, failing at her major tinkering, fear of people hurting her or her family for raising a khehora, and people taking Honoka away from her.
-History:Avani and her parents have moved from their hometown to their new home next to Sueno and her family.
The reason for this move was because her father, Talmei, wanted his own farm to run away from his family. However, his mother was the owner of his boyhood home, and he stayed near there to help out in her last few years, even if it was uncomfortable for him. Talmei's elder twin brother was promised the farm upon Avani's grandmother's death, so that made him even more uncomfortable to help out on the farm that had been his home all his life.
While he loved his family, when the chance came for Talmei and his wife, Maiika, to buy their own land away from the family, they took it, knowing then that they could have a little earth of their own to make money from.
Avani didn't mind leaving the old homestead, there was one of her cousins that made her angry most of the time with him teasing about her tinkering and reading. While she loved getting into mischief and trouble, she loved to read and tinker as well, so she had to do so in secret.
Avani loved her grandmother the most outside of her parents. Gailia told story after story of herself and Avani's grandfather, and how they built the farm up from nothing, and that she was happy that both of her sons had inherited their parent's talent and love for farming. Before she passed on she gave Avani the earrings she wears now, pumpkin earrings her husband gave her on the anniversary of getting the farm started. She also made Avani the pumpkin plush she carries around when she was born, knowing the child would be a girl. Avani always remembers her grandmother's love of farming as the strength she needs to find her place on her father's new farm, and hopes to one day take over the operations from her father.
One of the new friends Avani met when she moved in was Sueno. She was a small orderite girl that had dreams as big as the sky. Avani loves Sueno to pieces, and always enjoys going over to her farm to see Sue's many pets.
Another friend she met in her first days in her new home was Ismene. Ismene helped her father run a book shop in town and Avani loves to drop in to discus something or borrow books. Avani is happy to have a friend who has a lot of books and ideas.
Soon into her first year on her family's farm, Avani came across a large, black, and fluffy khehora named Oblivion who was eating a sheron from her family's herd. After a short scuffle and Kin getting kidnapped, Avani told him of the starfall celebration on Ayr, and both decided to go together. While Avani had to tell a fib to her parents, she knew that Oblivion was not going to let any harm come to her. Her logic was that if he didn't eat her on sight, then he wouldn't eat her at all.
A short time after that, Avani happened to meet Nix, a water fea, who was at her "secret" lake. After spending a fun day at the lake, Avani didn't want to leave her new friend. Fortunately, Nix had followed her home and she was welcomed into the family with open arms.
After about ten years on the farm, Avani had chance to meet with Oblivion again, as he came to her farm to visit her. Apparently he had a khehora egg to give her. He had told her that he and his mate couldn't take care of the third egg, and so Oblivion had given it to Avani to raise since he trusted her not only with the care of the egg, but the care of the hatching that would come out of it. So Avani was now the guardian of the egg.
After the hatching of the khehora in the egg Oblivion gave her, she named the little girl Honoka after a childhood friend of her grandmother. She spotted at once the new addition to the family was going to be a big handful, and doesn't know if she can handle her new found "parenthood".
Almost immediately Avani felt the tug of parental heartache only after a few months of watching over the baby khehora. Avani realized that she could give her all the love and care in the world, but she would be no real substitute in being a real khehorian mother. She would have to find an adult khehora to teach her little one the ways of khehorian life. But one problem that she could solve was the problem of how big Honoka would get and if she could fit in her family's little farm house.
Avani immediately took odd jobs in order to not only purchase the land her beloved lake was on, but to build a house to hold adult khehora.
This decision came at the right time in Avani's life on the farm. She was now gaining position within the workings of the ranch, but not having the freedom she could have since she was still "the boss' daughter".
Avani found ways to get around this by taking other jobs on other farms, still gaining the money to save for the property. Since Honoka's birth, Avani had done this for two years.
Then one day a rather large fall storm came in. As Avani was heading home, she didn't notice her little fea Nix was missing from her side. This set off a rather large decision in Avani's life: Weather or not to disobey her parents and go off into the storm after Nix.
Feeling she had no choice but to go after the fea, Avani went out at risk of personal injury to find her little "daughter". After getting wet, muddied, bruised, and cut, Avani found the little fea and brought her home safe and sound.
After getting cleaned up, Avani had a talk with her father where she made it known she didn't like being treated like a child, and that she would like more freedom. She also told her father of her plans to buy some land and move out. While her father told her he would always see her as a little girl, it was understood that he respected her decision, and her as a woman, more now that they had their talk.
Starting the next day Avani's father put into motion having her placed at his side as an authority on the ranch. Avani then started to get paid for her work as an apprentice foreman, placing her word just as good on the ranch as her father. While Avani still had problems with some hands about her age and experience, and they still argued with her a bit as to doing jobs well, she was happy in the knowledge that her father would back her up in the end.
Five years after this, Avani had just finished building her dream house in the woods. Here she lives with a seven year old Honoka and a still very mischievous Nix. She lives about 15 minutes from her parent's house, and about three minutes from her lake.
The property that had the lake on it's land was part of a small farm whose owners were selling so they could move to the south to be with their children in their old age. Now that Avani had built the house of her dreams, her next project was to fix up the original house and barn so she could rent it out.
This property was next to her father's so when the time came for her to take over his ranch, she would merge the two, doubling the land.
Her dream of having a large spread was coming true, as was her dream of making instruments to help with the farming of the land. She is now tinkering around with ideas for instruments that could help with plowing and harvesting.

-Papa:Avani's papa, Talmei.
He loves his family very much and would protect them with his life. He comes from the east of where his home is now, leaving his family's farm. He loves his twin brother, Akali, but needs to have his own land, and a sense of independence from his family.
After helping around that farm as his brother took over management from their mother, Gailia, he felt it was time to leave when his mother passed away almost a year ago.
He has orange hair like his daughter, and has light blue eyes. He sports a beard, much to his wife's chagrin, but shaves it off occasionally. He is a solidly built 6 feet tall, with wide, large shoulders . He dotes on his wife and only child, his daughter Avani.
-Mama:Avani's mama Maiika.
Maiika grew up on a farm that was near Talmei's, and were childhood friends. They grew up and fell in love and married.
Maiika did not mind moving to Talmei's family farm, she had the same bond with her's and was pleased to have so many people around to love. However she did understand Talmei's yearning to have his own land and place to give to his children. Though moving to a new town was hard, she made the move.
When she found out she was having a baby, she was ecstatic, and was appreciative for the advice on children from Gailia and Lalika, Akali's wife. She wished to have a boy so Talmei could have an heir. However, when Avani was born, she was still ecstatic, for this child was Talmei's and that is all that mattered to her.
Though Avani tempts her temper, she loves and dotes on her only child.
-Uncle:Avani's paternal uncle, Akali.
Just a few minutes older than his twin brother Talmei, Akali knew he would one day inherit the farm. Just like his brother, he felt the pull to the land as his ancestors before him had. Though he was sad to see his brother leave the family farm, he knew his brother well, and that Talmei wanted a farm of his own.
He has a wife, Lalika, and two sons, Srenlei and Rainei
-Aunt:Avani's aunt by marriage, Lalika.
Lalika is Akali's husband and sister-in-law to Avani's parents. She grew up in the town near their farm, and like Maiika, was a childhood friend of Akali before they married.
She has two children with Akali, Srenlei and Rainei.
-Cousins:Avani's older cousins, Srenlei and Rainei.
Srenlei and Rainei are different as night and day. Where Rainei is kind and nice, Srenlei is not so kind and nice.
Srenlei teased Avani for liking to read and being a tomboy and liking to farm. He said only boys can farm and that Avani would just be in the way. Many times did he push Avani into a mud puddle just to keep her from playing with him and his friends.
Rainei would be understanding of Avani's dreams, and why she wished to become a farmer. He would also let Avani tag along with him and his friends when they would go out to play. He is also the one who got her interested in reading about farming and farm mechanics.
-Granny:Avani's paternal grandmother, Gailia.
Gailia was very happy when Avani was born. She knew from an early stage that Avani would be born a girl, just "Something about the pregnancy..." she would say to Avani's mother. She also gave Avani her pumpkin earrings before she passed away saying that they suited Avani more than they ever did her.
She made her a pumpkin doll called Kin that Avani would carry around with her everywhere.
She would also tell Avani things about farm life and farming that Avani would store away till the time she needed them.
One day, out of the blue when Avani was an Adept, Oblivion, the diabli khehora who she had befriended years before, came to her house to visit. He wasn't alone, in the sense he brought a khehora egg with him.
Avani was very surprised, and intrigued, by the egg as she had never really seen one before. She was even more surprised when he asked her to care for it.
She would never turn down her good friend and so accepted the care of the egg.
Months passed and then the egg hatched, and out popped Honoka.
Avani was so happy with her little khehora. Soon though, she thought of the little one as her own, and so adopted her in her heart, and called her daughter.
Avani's parents also dote on their adopted granddaughter, spoiling her rotten.
After Honoka had hatched and grown some, Oblivion had come back to Avani as a Khehorian. His new form made him look bigger to Avani, and more two-legger like. She couldn't help but blush most of the time around him because of that fact.
After learning him and his mate had split for good, Avani offered him a home, and sometime during his living there, her feelings changed about him, and apparently so had his about her.
Avani loves her sons with all her heart. She also loves that they are Oblivion's children as well. She never thought that she would have any children with the fact that she and Oblivion are different species, and is glad that she could despite this.
Though good children, they still cause her never ending trouble, and she loves them despite this.

Orderites -Sueno: I like Sue. She was the first person I met in my new home! She seems to like farming as much as I do too! -Isemene: The second person I met in my new hometown. She likes to read as much as I do. I hope she can be up to an adventure or two! -Shenra: A girl tinker! And she can cook as good as Mama. She also said I could take tinker lessons from her if I help clean and take care of her orchard! I really like her! - Kadryn: Kadryn helped Papa by killing a Borgnah, and let me come with her when she tracked her. Won't Sue be surprised I actually got to help track something with a warrior?!
Oblivionites -Kirosh: Kadryn's husband and the first Oblivionite I have ever met! He is super nice and seems to love Kadryn to distraction. I hope all the Oblivionites I meet are like him!

I took her to an abandoned cabin so she could rest undisturbed. -Honoka: Honoka was the baby Khehora that hatched from the egg Oblivion gave me. I hope I can do him honor by raising her as I would a child of my blood. -Criani: Criani and Sulu helped me evacuate to Shenra's house when the Mara came around our land. She seems a little odd, but Nix likes her so I am not going to worry.
