Draws moisture from the ground and air to make the land around you and your opponent wet and slippery. Physical attacks miss ratio is subtracted by 20 points for the next 3 turns while the ground dries. Useable once per battle. (1-50, 51-100 miss/hit now becomes 1-70, 71-100 miss/hit)
Can be used in an RP out of Combat to make the ground wet and slick as well!

This tome instructs the user in tapping into the latent moisture around the caster. When mastered, this spell imbues the surrounding battle area with increased receptivity to water magic. All peisio spells cost 5 less energy for 5 turns (this applies to every peisio spell cast on the current battlefield, ally or foe).

-Likes:Two-Leggers:: Criani has always had an affinity for the Two-Leggers, mostly for Orderites. She wants to know more about them since her father seemed to hold a small group in high esteem before they turned on her clan.
Water: She loves to swim so much, her mother swears she was a fish in a past life. When ever near a new lake, stream, or river, she can't help but check it out and see if the water is as clear and clean as the Serenia great lakes.
Trinkets: She seems to find the oddest things on the shore of the waters she visits, this tends to fuel her curiosity of the two-leggers and their way of life. She has a bag of her favorite trinkets she caries around when she travels, but the cave she calls home is littered with many of the two-legger's flotsam and jetsam.
-Dislikes:People who disrupt the waters: There are many ways to disrupt the life of water. Mostly this is by the pollutants that the two-leggers tend to put into their waters. While this is uncommon on Serenia, she has seen the acts of the Mara of Lake Tyluafel during the siege of the lakes there, and the dumping of dead bodies into them.
People who are rude and mean: Criani can't see the point in people, or Kherhora, who are rude or mean. She had no time to waste arguing or dealing with them, and would most likely just fly off to avoid them all together if possible.
-Strengths:Loyal: She is fearcly loyal, though not to the point of killing. Unless the ones she loves are in danger, she will not strike anyone, two-legger or dragonkind. She is also loyal to the land of Serenia, for that is her birthplace, and land of the lakes and rivers she loves so much.
-Weaknesses:Curiosity of the Two-Leggers: Being chased off by them wont deture her curiosity of the two-leggers way of life. Even the fact that it was two-leggers who killed her parents doesn't deture her from wanting to know more. This causes trouble with some of the land owners in the country farms of Serenia who don't know she won't harm a hair on any sheron's head (even if they are delicious).
She knows this curiosity could get her in trouble with her race if it was made known, even some of the ones who seem on "good" terms with them.
-Quirks:Trinkets: When she finds a trinket that meets with her approval, she can't contain herself at times and wiggles like a little puppy. Even if she is alone, she sometimes breaks out in a little dance.
Calmness: She can also remain calm during rather serious situations. If it doesn't stoke her anger, she just accepts it with laughter and a smile. This happens even when two-leggers try to battle her!
-Fears:Love of the Two-Leggers: She is scared that her khehora race wouldn't understand her curiosity of the two-leggers and has on occasion had to bite her tongue when in the presence of some elders of friendly clans. If the wrong khehora found out her weakness, she fears the shunning other herself from her kind.
Loneliness: Having grown up in a clan that was so close it was hard not to be alone at times, having been separated from them so suddenly nearly crushed her as she struggled to grow up without them. Now as an adult she is very afraid of loosing the friends she does make, even if they aren't other khehoras.
-History:Criani was born to a Ysali mother and a Peisio father. Both of the dragons had wanted a large clutch when they had fallen in love, however despite being a Ysali dragon, Criani's mother was only able to lay one clutch of six eggs. Unfortunately only the dark blue and sea green egg hatched a baby pesio khehora. Even through their grief, Criani proved to be a joy to both parents. She was seldom spoiled, and was never alone due to other hatchlings her age in the clan.
Her father was the leader of the clan of khehora that Criani was born into. Both he and his mate had reached their khehorian forms and had the respect of their people, this working for them as they made alliances with two-leggers. With this clan accepting two-Leggers in their lives, even having a contract to protect a very small village on Serenia. Though most in the village did not like the mayor doing this, it turned out beneficial, even if most of the two-leggers thought it was from their work, and not that of the khehora that made their village successfully protected.
Criani's father taught the young pesio that two-leggers had a soul just as much as a khehora did, and that they should be respected, even if they hate khehora. Criani's mother also taught her the meaning of life for the world, all things need other things to survive, be that plants that the beasts ate, the beasts two-leggers and dragonkind ate, and that when people died, they gave back to the ground that sustains life.
When Criani was an Orakoir, the mayor of the village died of old age, and the clan's champion for peace was gone. Criani, her father, and her mother attended the funereal for the old man on behalf of the clan. This angered the villagers who had stood against the mayor and khehora that they dare come to their village, even if they were at peace.
A few months later, the villagers took prisoner those who supported the contract with the khehora and went after the khehora who dared to come into their village. They stole into the clan's land, and even though a few Orderites died at the hands of the adult khehora, Criani's mother and father were killed, their heads taken back to the village and placed at the gates to warn any other's.
Criani, who was with the other Orakoir's out on a training mission with an older Khehora, was safe from the massacre. When she heard of this, she came back to her home and after burying her parent's bodies, tried to calm the tempers of those who demanded the destruction of the village.
This was not helped by the arrival of dragons who had heard of the khehora leader's death, and wanted their land back.
Total chaos from the attack of the dragons led Criani and her clan to scatter for their lives, and the young khehora being left alone in the world.
To this day Criani has not met any of her former clanmates.
Today Criani has made her home in the forests of the farmlands. She had found the perfict den for herself. It was a cave that could only be reached by going underwater. No two-legger could reach it since it took all of even Criani's skill to hold her breath long enough to reach the end of the underwater tunnel to the cave.
Here she keeps her trinkets she finds in her travels, knowing it's safe from anyone who would be looking around for khehoras. While she loves her home, she is very lonely. Growing up with other khehora her age and in a friendly clan, she craves any friendship she can find.
In this she is lucky, as she stumbled upon a red headed two-legger who called herself Avani. Her house was close to the cave she called home, so she frequently went in serch of her friend to have a good chat when the sadness of being lonely crept up on her. This two-legger also had the most adorable baby khehora who was bound to make trouble for her "Mama". So when Avani asked Criani to give the little one lessons in being a khehora, Criani was so pleased and honored she couldn't help but give the little orderite a hug... as awkward as a full grown khehora could give one to a small two-legger.
So along with her own training, she is giving Draconic and hunting lessons to the young gaili orakoir.

-Father:A strong Peisio khehorian, Criani's father led the clan as chief that she was born into. He had the respect of not only his clan but of some of the villagers of Orderites who lived near their colony, most notably their mayor. In return he respected the mayor for his courage and strength, even in his old age, to lead his people. He tried to teach this to the young of the colony, most notably to his young child Criani. This extended to violating custom and attending a two legger funeral for the old mayor when he died. Unfortunately, said violation angered the majority of villagers and led to his death at their hands. Even though he fought off most of them, not even he was immune to Kiandri attack spells. The leaders of the raid party cut off his head and displayed it at the city gates with his mate's as well, till Criani sneaked in and retrieved both for burial.
-Mother:A younger Ysali khehorian, Criani's mother was less wild than her husband and the clan healer. She advocated knowledge to the young about everything in the world of Magesc, not just the khehorian world. Her thoughts were that if they had to live in the world with the two leggers, then they might as well know about them in order to deal with them peacefully. She tried to teach her daughter not to hate the two leggers even though she knew that not all of them minded them like those of the villagers. She insisted that Criani come to the funeral of the old mayor to show her daughter that peace was possible between two leggers, even if many hated them out right. When attacked the night she died, her last thoughts were of her still young daughter and how wonderful it was that she did not wittness the brutality of the ones who hated. She died praying to any god to help her daughter not hate those who did this to the clan.

Orderites -Avani: A suprising young woman who asked me to help teach her baby khehora about being a khehora. She also defeated a rock mara. All that impresses me.

Khehora -Suluksati: A khehora who protects the dragons. While I do not think dragons need protecting, I do understand her desire to protect something she loves. -Honoka: Avani's young Orakoir who I am trying to teach Draconic tounge, flying, and things about her khehora heritage... If I can get her to sit still long enough!

*** The Growth Ritual consists of a few things. One must have at least one Dragon Soul orb of their type if they want to be more humanoid (ie: Anodyne). If one does not have a Dragon Soul orb of their type, or doesn't want to obtain one, they can use any other type resulting in a more reptilian appearance (ie: Rhazes). The ritual is spelled out more in both the Guide to the World of Magesc and Battler's Path threads. For the Civilian Path, the route to the Ritual is paved a bit differently. Seek out the Civilian Path thread on more information about Khehorian Transformation through their eyes.
