Avani had been watching from the front room window as the morning went on. The stillness and silence was beginning to take it’s toll. She shook her head and remained vigilant. Nix watched too. Avani had relied on the little fea since she found her to warn of any danger, and it had saved her many times. She kept one ear open for Honoka who was right next to Nix. It seemed the little Khehora was doing her part too, though Avani doubted whether she understood.
Avani heard Nix's low growl, and she sharpened her watch, and soon after the little fea had started, she saw the monster approach from behind the barn. Avani gasped as a huge rock came... floating towards them. Rocks didn't move by themselves! Nor did they carry large hammers!
"Honoka, stay inside!" Avani said as she darted with Nix from the couch. Avani would need Nix if it could feel pain, and so she and the little fea went out together to get the giant rockman outta here!

Above Avani's home
Criani flew over farms and houses and could see no intimidate threat, so she decided to head back over the land to her lake. She wondered what this new threat looked like, she didn't see anything too out of the ordinary...
Except a redheaded Ordertire attacking a pile of rocks...
That floated....
And carried a hammer...
Criani smiled in amusement at that thought, then pulled herself up short while in midair and turned back. She flew in closer and saw that indeed a little Orderite girl was attaching what looked like floating rocks... with a hammer.
She flew down closer to get a look.
This was so much more amusing than looking for something strange in the neighborhood.

Avani
Orderite Adept Farmer, Civilian
Her family's ranch near Lake Tyluafel, near Sue's house
Avani ran out of her house shouting and waving her scythe. The rockman turned from the barn and stood motionless for a moment.
Avani then heard this sound in her ear, but ignored it as she stood her ground.
"YOU. GET OFF OUR FARM!"
The creature merely grunted and came at her. Avani still stood her ground and waited till the right moment.
Nix, seeming to be ignored by this... thing... Went around the back of it and jumped onto it's back and tried to claw and bite at it. The monster, annoyed at such a diversion tried to fling the little fea off of it, but Nix just smiled and gripped the monster with her feet in the crevices in it's back where the arm and body should have met.
Avani smiled in victory as Nix gave her an idea, and the opening that she needed. She went over to the buckets of water she had left out by the barn for the animals, and dropped the scythe. She took up the water pails and doused the monster with water.
It howled as if in pain, but as it was doing this, Nix jumped from the creature, and Avani took her scythe up again and separated it's arm that held it's hammer from the body. Then she took the other arm, and then the head.
She watched as the monster crumbled into a pile of rocks and didn't move anymore.
Nix came and stood next to her, leaning on Avani's legs, purring. Avani knelt down and scratched Nix's head. Avani noticed the smudges of dirt on her, and she had soaked her shoes in the mud by the pile of rocks. She was tired and thirsty, even Nix was too.
She heard laughing from nearby and saw a blue and green Khehora sitting and watching her.
She stood up and brandished her scythe once more.
Oh Abronaxus above…. Why, oh why did Khehoras like her farm so much?
