█▐ ▌ ★ Age: Physically seems to be around 17.
█▐ ▌ ★ Faction/Race Demon [Nix].
█▐ ▌ ★ Personality: It's quite posible that Gabrian will take one look at you down his nose and swiftly decide he either doesn't like you or that you're simply not worth his time. This actually has less to do with elitism and more to do with the fact he doesn't seem keen on forming any lasting bonds with anyone, regardless of species or race; he's probably going to treat an undead student with the same cold politeness as he'll address that demon student over there. This, of course, can make him come off as a bit (a lot) of a jerk-a**; granted, a polite jerk-a**, but a jerk-a** nonetheless. Ghouls seem to get off easier than most boils, if only because Gabrian seems keen on following etiquette and as such must remain polite to them. However, even ghouls must be warned, seeing as how Gabe doesn't seem keen on giving others too many opportunities; wrong him once or twice and he'll move along onto greener pastures. Convincing him to change his mind is also rather hard once he's decided he dislikes you.
His unwillingness (to various degrees of success, of course, since after all, deep down Gabrian is actually social) to form lasting bonds stems from the fact he views himself as a bit of a failure as a demon in general and is trying his damn-est to maintain an elegant facade in an attempt to hide said failures (not to mention the fact he likes cute things). It's much easier to trick people when one holds them at arm's length than trying to keep yourself from slipping around those that you've become attached to. At the same time, Gabrian is no where near as mentally strong as he would like some people to think, and as such, he often times falls prey of emotions. He finds himself caring about those that bother to spend time with him and persist on keeping him company, and though he might seem to be reluctant at first, he usually comes to terms with his own feelings given some time. Aka, no, Gabrian is not a cold hearted jerk and does actually care. He just usually needs time.
Under his facade, Gabrian is a far more relaxed, easy-going fellow. He has mischievous or silly moments around those he trusts, and seems far more natural around them. While he's still polite, and perhaps a touch 'uppity' he isn't really an actual jerk; most (if not all) of the cold, nasty remarks are uttered in an attempt to keep people away, not due to being cold hearted by nature. In fact, Gabrian is as much attracted to tooth-achingly cute things as he is to elegant jewelry and clothes; perhaps even more so. Needless to say, he tries very hard to keep that aspect of himself hidden and stashed away in the safety of his dorm room, but it's extremely hard for him not to react when something cute is shoved his way. His reactions to such situations will range from a brusque, obviously out of place retreat to... actually giving into his need to hold and possibly hug the cute offender. Said offenders can range from minipets, to items, to actual students, much to his chagrin. Then again, he's proud that he's probably one of few people that is able to walk across campus holding a relatively cute fuzzball in his arms and still manage to look relatively regal doing so.
He feels a need/pull to be near water; if there's a lake/river/whathaveyou nearby and he's not being forced to sit in class, you can bet he's going to be there, possibly playing his violin. His need to be near water is so great that rather than sleep in human-like form, Gabrian usually chooses to sleep inside a rather large 'fish tank' inside his room, in serpent form (he shares it with several of his minipets). He's a rather good swimmer, and seems to have an ease where music is concerned - he seems to favor the violin and the guitar, but given time and practice, would be able to pick up other instruments. Unfortunately he's not... exactly strong; at least not physically. While he does posses rather sharp, strong nails (like most demons), and an advantage when fighting in watery environments, Gabrian is quite obviously more a lover than a fighter. He would much rather talk or trick his way out of a situation than fight someone physically. If it's verbal banter however, he'll be quite happy to engage.
█▐ ▌ ★ Why did they enroll at the academy? Gabe has a... deep dark secret which he really, really does not want you (or anyone, for that matter) to know. Said secret is, in fact, linked to his presence in Amityville; you see, despite the fact Gabe comes from a rather long, proud line of Nix demons, his er... Nix/Demon 'instincts', as his parents like to call them, are quite lacking in some ways. While he's elegant and polite, Gabrian lacks the general 'meanness' needed to climb up the social ladder. He's far more relaxed, silly and easy going than most demons, not to mention ridiculously attracted to adorable, cute things. Needless to say, his parents weren't particularly happy with all of this, so off to the academy he was sent in hopes he would be re-educated into more standard behavior.

█▐ ▌ ★ Fear: Music to calm the Beast - Gabrian is able to use Fear to produce a violin, which he then plays (the violin in question can not be used as an actual, physical weapon, and it vanished if he stops playing for too long). The music has a calming, charming effect on his opponent(s); it slows them down and diminishes the effectiveness of their attacks. He can usually use this technique to make a hasty retreat if the situation gets too dire for him to control. Of course, on the con side... in order for him to use this technique, Gabe needs to basically stop moving long enough to produce the violin and start playing; this inevitably makes him an easy target and a sitting duck during this time. As such, he can at times be stopped before he even has time to start 'attacking'.
█▐ ▌ ★ Natural Abilities: Serpent form - Females can change into what is commonly known as a 'mermaid', and males can take the form of a snake, a human, or a fish. Gabrian seems to have an affinity for the serpent form rather than the fish. His serpent form is around the size of a large python, except... more serpentine is structure (aka the head is not as small). Doodle of it can be found here. He is much more feral in this form; anything he feels will be extremely hard to hide and emotions seem to be amplified in intensity, which is to say... well, if Gabe likes you and he's in his serpent form, you're going to know.
Dual-Terrain - A Nix can survive a battle underwater and breathe just as normally as on land, and are incredibly fast swimmers. Prey that you never have to fight one in its natural habitat, or you'll most likely drown.

Gabrian loves his minipets. No, really. You don't understand. He really, really loves minipets, and if there's a sure fire way to get him to do a favor for you is by promising a minipet he's been seeking, in return for his services. He has an ever growing collection of pets, and they seem to come and go, between the room, the school grounds and the closet. Some are more keen on staying in the room, some are more adventurous, but Gabrian still knows every single one of them by name and would be able to tell his apart from those of any other students.
His peculiar... taste for cute seems to shine through more than ever in his pets. Alas, he is of the belief that he's one of the only students that can walk through campus carrying a pastel rainbow scareon in his arms and still manage to look somewhat elegant. He dares anyone to give that a try. Go on!
Belle the wishing Secret, whom Gabrian named before ever realizing 'she' was really a 'he' is probably the prima dona of the group. He's high maintenance, enjoys attention and seems to thrive in groups. His favorite pastime is flirting, and though not obnoxious about it, he seems to have very little personal space. He also doesn't seem to gender discriminate where minipets are concerned, though he does favor females. Belle seems to have a soft spot for Ren's Meteor Shower, Aurora Borealis.
Davy the Floresce is quite possibly the trouble maker of the group. He's always up to something and has a mischievous streak that matches up to that of his owner in his worst days. Curiously enough, he has several long scars over one eye, and though he's not blind, he can sometimes be seen wearing an eyepatch to cover the imperfections, courtesy of his owner. He seems to be into Lepus minipets, for some odd reason and despite the fact Gabrian doesn't get it, he's stopped questioning it. He has a thing for Alessa's First Mate Lepus, Sheelah, though it's probable he's not going to get anywhere with it.
Aithne the Galaxia is one of the most recent additions to Gabrian's main rooster, but she's someone managed to put order in the nix's room. Even the Death charm seems to listen to her. Motherly, understanding and nurturing, she likes to take care of the rest, and yet at the same time, has been seen to have quite a temper when one of her loved ones is threatened. She has no problem biting if the she deems the situation calls for it. For some odd, unknown reasons, she has a soft spot for LW's Hazmutt Austin, and seems much more over protective of him than anyone else aside her owner.
Aside his rooster of main pets though, Gabrian has an assorted bunch of others that roam freely within his room, closet and... seem to like hiding under the pile of pillows LW has begun to construct. Some of the pets were adquired through Classes while others were bought out of a need to protect his room (given the fact he leaves it open all the time and people come and go as they please - it's a sure fire way to keep unwanted visitors out). There's also some which somehow landed themselves within Gabrian's care without him being entirely sure how that happened.
At the back of his wardrobe and closet there lurk four pets which Gabrian tries his best to forget exhist. Alas, the little things, which Gabrian has dubbed Annoyance, Disturbance and Horror like to cause trouble at the worst of time. He still recalls the first time he found out about them; the little things stole his er... underwear while he was showering, forcing him to give chance to the little menaces through the demon dorm building. Clad only in a towel. He's tried everything to get them to go away, but they just don't.
