Gabrian wasn't entirely sure how he'd come to acquire both the pets that were currently tearing his room into shreds. Technically, he knew they'd come into his possesion sometime during the infamous Christmas town raid, but he just couldn't, for the life of him, place the exact moment he'd snatched, or otherwise acquired them. He only vaguely recalled snippets from the end of the trip; the scout, the explosion and being forcefully zapped out of the warehouse, only to be yanked back into Halloween. He figured he must have grabbed them during the chaos, but he couldn't be certain.

When he'd come too, he'd noticed the Death Charm's crystal in his hand, and the only reason he hadn't gotten rid of the thing was that... he'd had no idea what it really was. It vaguely resembled the crystals his wishing pets had come out of, and thus, figuring it was another wishing breed, had kept it; big mistake, seeing as how when the creature 'hatched' it'd proceeded to make sure everyone in the room knew it was the boss. It'd climbed onto the tallest shelf, had thrown down books, and had pretty much crowned itself king of the castle. Or room, rather, but still.

The reindeer hadn't been much better; when he'd noticed the skull and bells, well... it'd been much too late to get rid of them. Whom was he going to dump them on anyhow? He couldn't, in clear conscience, give the item to anyone. Not after what he'd seen one of those creatures do inside the train anyhow. Thankfully though, the creature that had hatched (alarmingly close to the Death Charm's hatching time), had been much smaller than the deer from the train. Much more friendly too, except... it seemed to be intent on nosing, touching and eating anything it could get it's mouth near.

Gabrian did not want to go to class the following morning and explain how a jack-damned reindeer had eatten his homework, thank you very much. So thus, he'd called the only person he could think of to help; Alessa. The conversation on the skellyphone had been somewhat strange; it'd involved him pleading for her help (in an almost uncharacteristic sort of way), yelping, a lot of crashing sounds in the background and a harsh 'No! NO! Don't touch that!' before the phone had been hung. He'd not even noticed he'd left the door unlocked; were Alessa to walk in at that moment, she'd find him trying to reach the Death Charm, which was currently poised on a high up shelf, hissing down at him, as he kept his fingers curled around the reindeer's collar. Unfortunately, the deer had found a particularly fascinating piece of paper and was currently chomping down on it, "Oh, great Jack. NO! Leave that!" As he said that, he made the mistake of looking away from the Charm, whom took the opportunity to jump on the Nix's head and then pounce off of it and onto a higher up place, hissing and spitting the whole time.

It was chaos.

The call Alessa had received had been strange indeed, unnerving even. A call on its own might have been a little odd, perhaps, but nothing so strange as to make her fling on her hoodie and race across campus to get there. It had been the desperate tone to his voice, plus the general sounds of crashing and...roaring? She wasn't sure. She hadn't really gotten a full explanation either. Just a sort of 'help me' before things got too noisy and the line cut. She knew he had a lot of pets, but the things he usually took in were cute and cuddly so she doubted they were the ones causing all this. What else could it have been then? A robbery? Somehow she doubted it; why would anyone call her for help over such a thing?

It took a bit to get there, because she had honestly never been to his room before. When she found the one that was supposed to be his she hesitated, because the door was slightly open and there was yelling and other sounds coming from inside. Oh boy, what was she getting herself into? Tightening her hoodie a bit around her, as if it would protect her somehow from the disaster within, she pushed the door open a little with a free hand, peeking her head instead, "Gabrian...? Oh Jack-"

She hurried inside and managed to wrestle the piece of paper from the reindeer's mouth before gasping, "What happened? Where did they come from?" She didn't recognize the flying, screeching one, but the reindeer was familiar. She had given a larger one on the train a good kick in the head before it settled down and joined them for battleship. She hoped this one was just as harmless and...misunderstood.

"I don't know!" came the uncharacteristic yelp as the Nix tried, in vain, to pull the deer away from his working desk; she'd managed to flop her front legs on his chair and was currently attempting to nose through a whole bunch of papers. In the process, she managed to topple over a small ink container, and Gabrian was forced to let go of her collar in order to grab the mountains of paper and keep them out of harm's way, "Christmas town! I think; I don't know for sure. I didn't have them before Christmas town; after the explosion it sort of all becomes blu- WAIT NO! LEAVE THAT!" he dropped the paper in order to go tend to the Death charm, whom had apparently decided that they weren't paying him much attention. His way of gaining attention was by... pushing a rather expensive decoration item over the top of the shelf he was perched on.

Gabrian on just barely managed to rescue the item before he glared at the Charm, then turned to Alessa, "I thought the charm was a... wishing pet! The egg looked the same; I had no idea that... thing would come out of it. And I couldn't, in good conscience, give away the deer before it hatched either! Not after one of those things ran rampant through the train I was in," he tried to reach for the Charm, trying to coax towards it with soft soothing sounds, but the creature kept eying him warily, "As for what happened; they hatched. Nearly at the same Jack-damned time!"

The reindeer blinked owlishly at Alessa, shifted forms into what seemed like a skeletal version of herself, and nudged at the ghoul's side; apparently this deer was also rather nice. It just seemed too strong for her own good. Either that, or she simply didn't know right from wrong at the moment.

"Please help me with this one! See if you can call it down, by some strange miracle; the deer isn't half as bad. It's just..." well he hesitated to use the word 'baby' , but that was what came to mind, "Well, a baby, I think."

"Christmas town? Oh, Jack, no wonder," she breathed, as if that explained everything. In her mind it very nearly did, as the place had left her only with horrifying memories of drunken trees and yeties and JOY, way too much of it. Being there had been chaotic enough, but bringing something from there well...it certainly made sense. She felt bad that somehow he'd be saddled with both of them, though she refused to believe it was bad luck, as no, she didn't think he deserved the current state his room was in. The frightening thing was it could only get worse if the two critters tore up the room even more...

Alessa felt the reindeer nudge her and she made an attempt to gently drape her arm around its side, giving its head a pat. If she could keep it with her, maybe it'd stay out of trouble. She doubted, though, she could hold it if it tried to get away, so instead she tried to scratch its head with her hand, hoping that would occupy it. She didn't know what would occupy a reindeer though...the one in their cabin had wanted to play battleship. That seemed a stretch, for the moment.

"Call it down?" she repeated, as if she hadn't understood the question. Heaving a sigh that seemed more laced with worry about being unhelpful than anything else, she tried to move forward and take the reindeer with her as she approached the Deathcharm. She reached out with her free arm, beckoning to the thing. "Come here, boy." She hoped it was a boy. "Here handsome, why are you way up there?" It worked with some of her lepuses. At least the male ones.
