IS IT LEAKING IN THIS ROOM OR IS IT JUST YOU? The room before you is a very damp room. Water seems to be leaking from the ceiling for some strange reason. The walls are covered in barnacles and seaweed and the wood on the walls seem to be rotting as do the desks and chair. There is an endless amount of human world sea creatures kept in glass tubes along with a seemingly endless supply of boats in glass bottles. For some reason there are a few rubber duckies in the corner just left there in an unorganized pile. The floor boards squeak and almost feel like they could collapse from under you when you step foot inside. The ceiling starts to gush water at random times like there is some sort of pool above you or something. Wait? Is there a pool above you? Now your student might be confused if this is Human History Studies or if they have stumbled upon a deserted underwater chamber, but the truth might be shocking, this is the Human History Studies. It is clear if your student is a land lover that this environment is almost purposely not for their comforts.

At the front of the room you notice a woman with her face buried in a comically huge book of the history of sail boats. Its very clear that this woman is not as interested at the students spilling in to her room as much as she is her boat book. In fact she left a neatly written letter pinned to the wall in huge letters with instructions. PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR NAME ON THE CHALK BOARD AND TAKE A SEAT. The chalkboard for some reason is HUGE! Some of the shorter students may be at a disadvantage at signing their names. It doesn't seem the woman cares much. In fact the woman casually flips to another page and does not so much spare a glance at students coming up to write their names on the board. Nope what ever the professor is reading about boats is far more interesting apparently. Every once in a while you hear a dreamy sigh come from behind the book but after that there is nothing more. It wouldn't be surprising if some students got the idea that this class is nothing more then a free period to text on their skullphones and chit chat. But oh no. The fire cracker behind the book is no push over of a teacher the students will soon find out.

She had to know, she had to know more about that world she stumbled into late one evening through the fog. What was so deadly about it? How could these loose their minds? Scribbling her name on the board in green chalk she took a seat in the back waiting to see what this class would entail.
Part of her hoped no field trips were required; she was getting sick of those lately. Mainly the 'getting hurt' during them.

Human studies, huh? That sounded like a good class to take! If they were going to be learning to scare humans in the human world they should know that they're dealing with, right? Her grandmother could only teach her so much especially considering most of her experiences were...a long, long time ago. Junko grabbed a piece of chalk after Sammy and wrote up her name, humming happily and moving to the nearest open seat. "Ugh. We have to learn about HUMANS? Why?" "Because this is a useful class. Now hush up or else."

Human Studies... a class Colette felt she had to take. It only made sense to learn about what you might be, uh, "taking care of" in the future.
The Reaper figured there would be some photos of humans or something on the walls to fit the class, but it was entirely different.. and wet. I hope this isn't the wrong class..
After grabbing some chalk and writing her name on the board, Colette headed for what she could only guess was the driest seat in the class, which probably wasn't very dry at all, and sat. It was all very uncomfortable, especially knowing anyone who saw you after class would probably think you fell in puddle.

After his... less than sattisfactory adventure Beyond The Door, Gabrian found he was deeply interested in figuring out how best to approach that 'other' world and it's inhabitants. He found he'd never really thought about them, or how best to handle a situation like the one he'd only recently just lived through. Ignorance was something that could have easily harmed them (or at the very least it could have incapacitated them). As such, he figured that the best approach to that lack of knowledge was... well, this class, actually. He rather enjoyed the school classes, actually, and he was not a rare sight in them. "Come now, LW, you can't tell me you're not at least even the tiniest bit curious?" the fact he was practically dragging along a rather reluctant she wolf by the hand was new though, "Didn't you say something about wanting to become a scary, impressive werewolf? Well, you might as well start by studying the enemy," a pause followed, "Do you know if Ren slept in, or if he's coming at all?" He'd pretty much barged into the gryphon's room to drag the wolf out and take her to class. He'd made sure to poke the sleepy gryphon with a foot and tell him that there was class, but he hadn't been entirely sure if he'd been heard. It was right around then that they entered the room however, and the first thing that caught his eye were the... droplets of water that seemed to drop from the ceiling. Not to mention the barnacles. And the sea creatures. He was so shocked that for a moment he thought he had the wrong room, and the nix walked back to the door to check on it; but no, they were in the right place, "How... odd," not that it really mattered to him. In fact, he was right at home in this strange classroom. He released the she-wolf when he got to the chalk board, writing his name in one of the free spots. Once he dotted the 'i' in his name, he turned to look down at LW, suddenly noticing the board was... well, slightly out of her reach, "Do you need assistance? I'll gladly write your name if you need me to."

Human studies were important for a Reaper to take, and so Myr had come to the classroom to sign up. It was wetter than he had expected, but he signed his name on the board anyways, and then headed towards the middle of the room. He found a seat that was mostly avoided by the water dripping from the ceiling, and flopped down, looking to see who was seated near him.

...One could study humans ?
Well, she figured it was the case. Much like anything else, the blue, glowing wisp happened onto the class by pure dumb luck - and she figured she might as well attend, right ? She scanned the classroom. No one she knew, beside Malodore, but the plague doctor seemed a little busy. She will waved to it, through, and by the time she went up to put down her name on the board, it had nearly filled up.
In fact, she almost forgot to put up her name completely.

Malodore had intended to take Human Studies anyway - the unplanned and unwanted excursion to the Human World had merely given its desire a grim certainty. It wrote its name down on the board without giving the odd classroom a sidelong glance...

Sin was rather disgusted by the state of the classroom she walked into, she cringed as she stepped up to the chalkboard and signed her name. She brushed her fingers clean of the chalk dust and then moved to gingerly sit down. Ugh, this place needed a good scrubbing, she glanced up a little nervously at the moist ceiling and frowned. With a sigh she moved to pull out a notepad and pen and shook her head softly. She crossed one leg elegantly under the other resting her heels and then draping herself in her seat. She could at least be semi-comfortable if she had to endure this squalor. Truthfully she wouldn't have given a scrags tail about human studies...except that she had been the rather unfortunate victim of a trip to the human world recently. The event had left her confused, shaken, and wondering what the heck that place was all about.

LW was not really watching where, exactly, she was being taken. She was still waking up. It had been a long night again with Ren and racing (which she would win one day!). Being too tired to walk back down to her own room, LW had just curled up in his room and fallen asleep. Or more so just fallen over and passed out. Only to be woken at what she felt was too early, up by the charming Nix demon currently dragging her to class.
The she-wolf yawned, covering her mouth before shooting a look up at Gabrian. "I am always curious." Her grip on his hand tightened once when she stumbled and seemed to regain herself. And also wake up a little more. "Yes. I did. Many times." LW mumbled and gave him a dirty yet humorous look. "Fine! I'm not complaining about the class yet." She teased him and snickered at his next question. "Ren is Ren. He'll just wander in whether fully awake or not." Besides, Ren would probably get cold and realize she was gone and wonder why she left so early.
She almost ran into Gabe and blinked up at him first, frowning when he walked back to check the door. Still watching him, her nose started working and she picked up...salty damp smells? Looking around, LW's eyes widened and that infamous curiosity spiked. What was this? Were they in the right class? Her tail slowly swung from side to side as she looked all around them. 'Odd' was definitely one word for it.
"Huh, this is...different." LW grinned up at Gabe. "But probably right nice to you." She nudged him playfully and followed to the chalkboard.
...Why? Why couldn't short people get a break every now and then? LW glared at the board and felt she might be able to manage it. Her name just wouldn't look its best. Violet eyes glanced at Gabe and gave him a warm smile. "I...think I'll try once...or twice on my own first." So she was being a little stubborn. But hey! He had brought up the 'being a scary and impressive werewolf'. That was always bound to make her stubborn. For a few minutes anyways.
Eying the chalkboard again she felt...she could do this. Yes. Maybe.
((sorry, just wanted to keep this going for others <33 ))

It had taken much too long to get out of bed that morning. Ren had stayed up much too late beating LW in Scario Cart, and both of them had just curled up and fallen asleep without bothering to even change first (not that he did normally, but LW at least wore pajamas when she slept). He knew Gabrian had come in sometime earlier to get LW and had felt the nudge of a boot against his side as the nix attempted to wake him - "Ren, you've got class in an hour, remember? - but Ren had merely snorted and rolled over, hugging his pillow as he had gone back to sleep. It was only when he heard the shrill ringing of his skellyphone that he slowly dragged himself back into the land of the living.
"Mrreello? Lessa....mmhmm - OH CRAP I'M SUPPOSED TO PICK YOU UP IN FIVE MINUTES JACKDAMMIT."
Needless to say he was slightly late in meeting her.
"I'm still sorry," Ren was saying as the two of them made their way down the hall to their Human Studies class, his fingers linked through hers. "I did not mean to sleep that late. I'll make it up to you, I promise"
The classroom was - damp. That was Ren's first thought. There was water (was that seaweed?) everywhere, and he involuntarily stiffened. I don't like water, jackdammit.
In front of him, looking up at the chalkboard like she was considering scaling it, was none other than LW herself, standing beside Gabrian.
"Need a little help?" Ren asked, grinning down at the werewolf and before she could say no he let go of Alessa's hand, reached down, and lifted LW a few inches up, wings fluttering around him to subtly conceal her from the rest of the classroom to prevent embarrassment. When she was done writing, Ren set her down, offering a mock salute to the couple, slipping his hand around Alessa's again.
"Thanks for waking me up," he said cheekily to Gabrian, reaching for the chalk and scrawling his own name haphazardly on the board.

Sharra made his way across the classroom to the board, rather glad that the floor didn't squeak overmuch on his way there. Blinking at the sheer size of the thing, he sighed softly and straightened, glad that he didn't have to stand on tip-toe to reach the slot of his choice, as that would have been moderately mortifying. With a sigh, he scrawled out his name...ah well, his aunts would be happy to know that his penmanship hadn't declined with time.
Taking a step back, he admired his handiwork....all right, time to mingle now that the obligatory sign-in was done. Heh, this could be interesting, as it didn't look like the teacher was paying all that much attention. To tell true, his classmates seemed a lot more engaging than humans just now.

Alessa had never had a real boilfriend before, so she had often assumed many of the typical rumored practices were just...well, rumors. And yet, much to her surprise, Ren seemed to take some of them very seriously. The walking to class practice, for example. She hadn't the heart to tell him she didn't need him to walk her to class, or perhaps it was the opposite, she had too much heart, because she found she felt warm and light-headed when he walked hand in hand with her down the hallway and she liked it.
But when he'd overslept, well, it hadn't really bothered her all too much. She'd called him to ask about something else, something along the lines if he knew what they were supposed to bring for this strange "Human Studies" class, but upon finding he had just woken up she prepared to walk herself. She met him halfway, since she didn't want to be late if she could help it, and was content enough to take his hand then with a pleasantly pink tinged face and small smile.
"It's okay, really," she told him very honestly. "It happens to everyone."
When they reached they chalk board she stopped to stare at it. Stare up precisely, because the thing was so jack damn tall. Her brows instantly knitted and her lips pressed together, a clear look of frustration if there ever was one. There was determination in her face, though, because she was too proud to want to be lifted like LW, though she knew Ren would have offered. Instead she took a piece of pink chalk and stood on her tip toes. She had to hop for a few strokes to get her name up there, and it was crocked and lower than the lowest spot, but at least it was up there. She couldn't help he height. She looked at her name wistfully as she took Ren's hand again, clearly not satisfied with her handy-work.

(( NOT SNAGGING A POST but will change my img if his name is overwritten+move it~ )) He had almost decided against coming to this class. It was out of his way, in addition to being... well. History. Merope wasn't very good at reading and writing, preferring to partake in classes that had more activities than books. Now, however, he was very, VERY pleased that he didn't miss out. The lost-fathom leviathan shifted from foot to foot in his excitement, dropping his messenger bag off at a desk in the middle of the classroom before noticing the chalkboard. Oh! He needed to sign up? He flicked his tail and approached, grabbing a piece of chalk and staring at the board. It was... pretty big. He glanced at the other person signing up before grabbing a piece of chalk and signing up on the other side, returning to his seat to look up at the ceiling with a happy expression on his face.
