History: Tambrey was born in Jinko City and raised to be prideful of the romantic atmosphere of history and storms. Grew up with an appetite for history and learning, developing into a strong interest in learning about pokemon, their place in human history and how such information could be important to the present and future. She was an above average student throughout most of her schooling, though never top of her class, and eventually made her way to Sandalwood City and a well earned place at its PokéUniversity, where she was studying in the hope of becoming a pokemon researcher. The stifling nature and less than enthusiastic attitudes of people at the university quickly dampened her spirits however, and a string of bad relationships and one-sided friendships slowly drove her away from things relating to a community spirit. Team Rocket, with its attitude of selfishness and apparent appreciation for less then conventional practices seemed a welcome escape from the tedium of society.

Appearance: Black hair is often pulled back into a ponytail where it might be decorated with a smart, blue ribbon tied in a simple bow or with a simple red scrunchie. Sometimes her hair is let down or tied more loosely with the bow seeming to serve mostly for decoration. Ever present are her glasses; frames of a purple so dark they can pass for black, with rectangular lenses to correct her myopia. Her frame is willowy, if not tall, and her wardrobe (when not in uniform) consists of simple dresses of subdued colours, or varying t-shirts and jeans, always with sandals or slip-on shoes with little to no heel. She does seem to have a real preference for darker shades of blue or red, though her favourite jacket is of blue denim. The only jewellery she occasionally wears is a necklace, in the style of a pearl necklace, but consisting of small, round black volcanic stones, threaded onto a black string.

Personality: She used to wish she was harder and perhaps less 'nice' than she truly is, but has grown comfortable with herself and her current life. Once upon a time, she believed that 'all that matters is knowledge, however it may be acquired' but her 'nice' side, and her longing for friends, was not buried as far as she'd thought. Tambrey values reason, thinking and science, but she also values her team mates and the friends that she's, surprisingly, found herself making from being in Team Rocket. Her temper is not the foul beast possessed by some; it is more a simmering and patient predator, perfectly happy to wait for the right moment. She's often to be found placidly reading or researching if not doing assigned work, and seems to have quite a preference for old, gothic novels. She's rather consumed with a lurking fear of inadequacy and can sometimes come across as being 'shy', nervous or just plain weird. Her 'sweet side' manifests itself most often in the cute possessions that she tends to acquire and she's blushingly attached to her pokemon dolls and her pokewalker, 'Aura'.

Sciences
- Tambrey is an accomplished geneticist and biologist, with a decent understanding of the genetics and physiology of most known pokemon extant or extinct.
- Tambrey has a decent working knowledge of basic geology; this is an effect of her work in Geo-biology (studying rock type pokémon).

Combat
- Due to basic Rocket training, and then further training in martial arts (namely Karate and Bojutsu) from Aulus, Tambrey is a skilled combatant, though she favours a non-lethal (and primarily defensive) style.
- She has worked hard to train her pokémon and develop several team combinations able to work together effectively. She is most familiar with the skills of psychic types and flying types (both having emotional significance for her), however she has studied, and trained, a wide variety of types.

Deception

- Tambrey has led a life in Team Rocket, reaching Elite Agent status, for a number of years completely secret from her family, despite keeping in touch with them (mostly her mother).
- She has shown herself able to adopt temporary personas, effectively use fake names, and even (at least once) adopt a different accent convincingly for a short while, on missions.

Reading
- 'A good book' has been Tambrey's 'go-to' for entertainment for as long as she can remember.
- There is an emotional attraction; books have often held words of comfort, distracted her from pain, or revealed new things.

Spending Time With Friends
- Before Tambrey was part of Team Rocket, she didn't connect very well with others and was often frustrated by other people. A divided team is not a well functioning team, plus missions can often by life or death, so watching eachother's backs is vital. This has helped her to appreciate other people a lot.
- It was likely that she'd become too distracted with her academia before being recruited by Team Rocket; she didn't even realize she actually enjoyed the company of others until she was forced to slow down by the restrictions of rank, and expected to work with others for the benefit of the team.
- She counts her pokémon among who she considers 'friends'. They fight for her, and she would for them, much the same as she would for her human friends. Both pokémon and human friends have jointly become, perhaps the most important thing in her life, rivaling her love of science quite rightly.

Working and Training
- Tambrey doesn't consider her work to be 'work', and if she could, even without Rocket giving her the opportunity, she'd likely be trying to do what she does regardless; science is a love for her.
- The organization, Team Rocket, despite it's negative connotations, gave her worth, and friends, and so she works gratefully, with the thought that her work benefits the team, and her friends.
- She enjoys training; she spends time with her pokémon friends, her team, and she helps them improve as she improves. She also very much enjoys training herself specifically, especially through Aulus's classes.

Geekdom and Contests
- Comics, movies, tv shows, books, the occasional item of clothing or merchandise; science fiction, superheroes, fantasy and others. Tambrey is a geek and fairly proud of it.
- This geekdom extends to gaming a little way, and sometimes she might be found spending her free time gaming with a friend (usually Aulus) with a selection of snacks.
- She is also very much a fan of contests; the moves, the pokémon and trainers involved, the costumes... It can all be a bit girly and ridiculous, but Tambrey will happily watch it on TV or online, when she can, and even has the occasional magazine in her possession.

Data pad/tablet - using for viewing sections of genetic code, remotely monitoring experiments, recording research, and providing a quick and easy way to communicate with her Porygon-Z, Turing, maintaining a subtle presence inside the device, with connectivity to some of the lab's systems.

Lab coat - Essential attire to protect one's self, and clothing, from anything volatile in the labs.

At least 3 pokéballs containing other members of her team - Turing is not of great physical, or protective, use being, usually, restricted to a cyber presence while in the labs.

Mega stone (embedded in a bracelet that fits snugly under her sleeve) - Ella's is unfailingly one of the three balls she carries; a Mega Aggron.

Rocket 'dex - It's the easiest device for handling in-organization communication. She could do so from her tablet, but the tablet is usually dedicated to other things, while the Rocket 'dex is already configured for the purpose.

Other equipment, and PPE like saftey goggles, are supplied in the labs themselves. Tambrey makes use of this when necessary.

Goggles - Glasses have a tendency to break, or get in the way, when exposed to a great deal of physical activity; Tambrey's goggles are far more resistant, obscure more of her face, yet still do the job of her glasses.

Rocket 'dex - Invaluable for communication, and co-ordination, between team members on a mission.

Telescopic, collapsable/extendable bo staff - Given to her by Aulus on her promotion. Her training with him over the years makes it an ideal defensive weapon for her to carry, in her opinion.

6 pokéballs containing members of her team that Tambrey felt would be most suited for the mission - This varies, but tends to include her more powerful, strategic, reliable and/or trustworthy pokémon.

Tweazers, 3 small sample jars, and a collection of sample baggies - These are carried either on her belt or in a bag; they are used to collect anything that might provide a sample (usually biological, looking for DNA) that might be of use being studied in Team Rocket's labs.

Mega stone (embedded in a bracelet that fits snugly under her sleeve) - Ella's is almost always one of the six balls she carries; a Mega Aggron.
