A casual grunt relaxed upon a couch in one of the recreational rooms, flipping through the news on the television before him. The TV remote rested in one hand while leaning on his opposite elbow to prop his head up with the other. Shoe-less, sock-wearing feet dangled over the arm rest as his small frame draped over the cushions. A single rock, a closed laptop, and a cup of coffee sat on a small table in front of him, weighing down the magazines that covered it.
"Heh...looks like there's been a decent amount of damage lately," he spoke, it seemed, to no one in particular. Videos and pictures of destructive fires bombarded the Kodo reigon news channels. "I wonder who's responsible?" Snickering, the young man angled himself better on his side. "Must be someone into pyrotechnics. An arsonist, perhaps." Adjusting his fur-trimmed jacket, crimson eyes narrowed as a sinister smile widened. "How naughty."
Sitting up, the grunt reached over to take a sip of his coffee. "Far too obvious, though. There's little to be accomplished from that, other than some minor panic." Crossing one leg over the other, he finally paused on a channel that showed some clips of pokemon putting out the fire. "Not that it's my problem. But it's so booooring here. If nothing else comes up, I might have no choice but to investigate."

The corridors of TRHQ are not truly pleasant. Besides their ever constant smell of of a certain sol of pine which was quite lovely, they lacked in a height suitable for Pokemon over the height of well, "large". For Prometheus, it was very much uncomfortable to reel his neck low as he marched onwards, but finally by his Queen's side, he refused to leave her. The little twinge of pain from a growing cranky neck was very much worth it to be in her company. Len extended a hand upon his belly's side as they walked side by side, a small look of bothered concern on her delicate face.
"Are you sure you do not wish to go back into your Pokeball?" she asked with a twist of her lip. "I don't mind."
The Charizard pursed his ever constant frown and swayed his head left to right. Her concern had touched a chasm in his heart and even the small slip of her hand on his belly made his loyalty just seemingly grow for her more. Lennyka showed not a love for any of her Pokemon like she did Prometheus. He was a darling Charizard to her and in return, she loved him. Who knew it'd take so many years to finally return to his master's side?
"You did a wonderful fire back there, yesterday, I mean." Len said to the splotched Charizard. "Too bad it made the news again. It's like three forest fires is alien to those people! Please."
Having ears catch the sounds of a news broadcast, Len paused and turned the hallway to follow and catch the action. "Seems like we're on television, again, Prometheus." she breathed. "How terrible."
Prometheus simply obliged her with a snort.

"So, you two are the stars of today's feature, are you?" the grunt asked, turning to crane his neck back over the seat of the couch. "And here I was thinking you were looking for some publicity. Though I'll admit, stealth and fire don't usually go hand in hand." He waved his fingers at the immense fire pokemon, smirking. "But if getting your lovely arson work on every channel wasn't your goal, what was? I'm curious now."

She had not registered the existence of another fellow rank in the regularly abandoned rec room (save for when trainees and other mischievous kid baddies decide to engage in underage drinking) so when the voice of another tickled her ears, her hackles stood on edge. Prometheus caught her fright and snorted again, in slight warning, but rested itself when he remembered that everyone in Team Rocket was the same. No one would hurt her here.
With a slight shrug, the braid-tailed girl gave ticked her head to a slight inclination and smiled. "I don't know, really." she responded, folding gloved hands over her bosom. "I was bored, really."
Prometheus snorted at this. "Oh goodness, I'm not lying Prometheus." she growled, causing the Charizard to slit eyes to his Queen. "Ugh, I actually wanted to see some pretty flames. Fire is so insignificant when it is something small like a stove fire or candle flicker. Big, bright flames. That is what I like. I just wanted to see them, that's all . . . they look really pretty when you see them from above too. Hehe." A hesitation. "There, happy now?" she glared to the Charizard. She was returned with a rare smile as the Charizard cocked its head downward. He hated to see her lie. She was a good girl.

He appraised her a minute with sharp eyes before speaking again. "...You know, Lennyka, you remind me of one of my twin sisters, Kururi Mairu." A think smile played on his lips. "Not only does she look like you - braids, glasses, and all - but she's got this habit of causing completely pointless trouble when she's bored." He leaned over the back of the couch, watching her lazily. "It never occurred to you that you might have given us away as the culprits of said fires? That might have compromised our intentions. What do you think the higher-ups would have done with you then?"
He chuckled. "If you need to see flames, Lenny-chan, go find a lighter. I hear they'll show you a pretty fire every time you open one. Go on! Try it out. I'll give you change if you need it." Hearing her explain the problem with small fires, he crossed his arms and adopted a weary grin. "Picky, aren't we? Okay, then wouldn't a bonfire near the base have done the job? If you ask me, the middle of a city is just a tad bit conspicuous. But that's just my opinion, of course."
Izaya turned in his seat and sat back down to watch the TV once more. "I somehow doubt a grunt of your status could have gotten so far if she started fires every time she wanted to see big flames," he said, his back to her as he continued sipping his coffee. "But like my little sister, you seem to prefer lies to reality, so I'll let you play your childish game. We can pretend all you like."

Saleen had never actually been to the rec room before. She actually hadn’t realized there was a rec room. She was still partially in her work clothes from the lab, with her long hair tied up in a braided bun, a hot pink shirt, and a black skirt that came down to her knees, topped off with her usuall red pumps. But she was missing her lab coat. She had taken it back up to her room, but hadn’t felt the need to change. She wasn’t wearing her glasses however. Sometimes she wore them in the lab, but usually she tried not to wear them, as she hated how she looked with them on. Usually her glasses were just for if her eyes were bugging her, or if one of her pokemon took her contacts….which they did way too often…
Saleen was followed by what appeared to be a girl with pink hair as well, with a long braid, blue eyes, and a rocket grunt uniform on. Saleen was too tired to care at the moment, so she let Ambrosia have her fun. The ‘girl’ behind her was grinning and skipping around a bit…Saleen rubbed her temples…Callista was going to kill her one of these days… “Really Rosie…do you HAVE to do that?” she asked the ‘girl’ behind her who just grinned and chuckled a little.
Saleen was walking down the hall when she saw the sign labeled ‘Recreational Room’ and decided to check it out. Upon entering she noticed there were already two people there…and a few interesting things in here…one being the television. Saleen didn’t actually have a television, but she did have a nice computer, a powerful desktop and a decent laptop. She walked over to the couch and sat down with a loud sigh, the ‘girl’ sitting down next to her and mimicking her sigh. “Oh cut that out Rosie…” said Saleen, not really in the mood of having to deal with her shenanigans…

Hmm. Bored. Stupid arm. It wasn't so much the pain anymore, but the cast and the sling were rather uncomfortable and it always seemed like there was an itch of an ache. Tambrey'd decided to take her mind off of it with some time spent in the rec' room. She'd seen other people heading this way, and hadn't been too far behind the pink-haired grunts really, but she'd been somewhat hoping to find the TV unnoccupied; maybe there'd be a contest or something she could watch. She was sure one of the minor ones would probably be showing on one of the channels. Still, the TV was a popular entertainment and she understood that, so clutched in her right hand was a slim volume; Raffles would suffice well enough if she couldn't obtain control of the television... And turning the corner, it looked like she wouldn't be able to. There seemed to be a news report on and some sort of discussion. Okay. Well... Saleen was somewhat familiar. She'd sit near the pink-haired fellow lab-grunt. Tam' did mutter a 'hi' though, as she gave the Charizard a little of a wide a berth as she could; it was directed at anyone and all as she slipped into the room, raising her book a little in a half-hearted not-really-a-wave. A smile accompanied the action.

As the young woman with long, pink hair entered followed by a girl with a pink braid, Izaya's crimson eyes followed them. He watched them seat themselves out the corner of of his vision, smiling mildly but saying nothing.
When the third lady joined the first two on the couch, however, Izaya chuckled and tossed himself back on the cushions. "Heeey, there's a lot of pretty girls coming in all of a sudden. Are we having a pretty-girl-movie party with popcorn and soda?"

Saleen's head turned when she heard the man speak, what a lame comment. "Oh I don't think so. There simply are a lot of females here in Team Rocket. So naturally there will be times when they happen to wind up in the same place at once." said Saleen before laying her head down on the couch.
Ambrosia however got up and walked over to the man, cocking her head to the side as she got a better look at him. "Ru?" she said curiously. Saleen grinned, she wasn't going to stop it just yet. She was curious as to what the man was going to do about the 'girl' staring at him.

"Yeah, that may be so. But this isn't really a place that Rockets are obligated to be. Even if a party wasn't planned, we can always take this ideal opportunity to start one, can't we?" He smirked at Saleen sideways from the other couch.
"Hmm?" Turning his attention to the girl who approached him, he stared back at her before sneering. "Heh. There something about me you find interesting?" he asked.

Saleen just grinned. She would stop Ambrosia before she went too far. "Ru!" she said with a smile in response as she reached out to gab Izaya's cheeks and started to pinch them as she giggled. Saleen took the chance to get up, walking over to Ambrosia and tugging on the little black tail that showed from the back. Almost instantly Ambrosia began to shift back into a giggling black and pink zorua. Saleen grinned as she held the zorua. "Having trouble with my little pokemon?" she said with a wink as she let Ambrosia jump down and moved to sit on the couch once more. Ambrosia however, was still giggling.

"O-oi, it's rude to pinch a stranger," Izaya attempted to speak as his cheeks were uncomfortably stretched. He made no move to stop her, though, as she had her fun.
"Yeah...she's got quite a grip, heh," he stated, rubbing his cheek as Saleen picked up her pokemon. Truthfully, he had seen the Zorua's tail when the girl had first come in, drawing his suspicion. He chose not to comment on that, however, as he sneered contemptuously at the tiny illusionist. "Was that really necessary?" he asked Ambrosia.

"Yah...sorry about that. Ambrosia likes to play tricks on people. " said Saleen with a shrug of her shoulders. "She likes to take on my roommate's form, which was the one she used earlier. Even though she has been told arceus knows how many times to quit it." said Saleen, seemingly to have given up on convincing her tricky little pokemon to quit imitating Callista.
Ambrosia chuckled at the human's response of asking if that was necessary and jumped up on his lap, still grinning. Oh it was quite necessary in her mind. Humans were so funny! "Zooooor! Zor! Zorua!" she said as she decided she wanted to be here in his lap, whether he liked it or not. "Rosie...be nice." Saleen muttered as her eyes closed.

"Oh? Well, maybe that I can understand," he mused, glancing at the rock weighing down the magazines on the coffee table. "People are fun to play tricks on. It's a difficult temptation to resist." He laughed at the explanation given as to who Zorua chose to appear as.
"What's the matter? Not content with your own appearance?" He cocked his head. "I think it looks nice. Pink and black is a good combination without having to look human too. With as unique a coloring as that, I don't see why you'd ever want to mimic someone else's form. What's the use of copying someone when you're good-looking enough as an individual?"
Smiling at her as she jumped on his lap, he raised a hand to pet her head. "Yes, yes, I agree~ humans are fascinating creatures," he responded to her cries, as if pretending to understand her speech. "But so are pokemon, if you think about it." He waved a hand at Saleen. "It's alright~ I'm beginning to be fond of this one."

"Zor! Zorua! Ruuuu! Ruuua!” said Ambrosia, content to stay where she decided she wanted to be. She was perfect as she was naturally, but human reactions to her illusions were so funny! Just the thought made the zorua giggle again.
Saleen didn’t care what Ambrosia did for the moment. It didn’t seem like the man was bothered by her anyways. Saleen was tired anyways, she would probably head up to her room soon. Saleen just nodded when he said he was growing fond of Ambrosia, before she sat up again and opened her eyes. “What is your name anyways? I am Saleen, and she’s Ambrosia, but I tend to call her Rosie.” Not that the name really fit her…
