Files were open and paper adorned the desk like so many rectangular, print-stained snowfalls while a bored looking woman reclined to remove her glasses and give them a quick clean. "Arrgh." She groaned, dangling them from the right earpiece while her right hand rubbed the bridge of her nose.
It looked like she might have had a system when she started trying to organize paperwork, but a bored Pidgeotto and the sheer tedium of the work seemed to have undone much of the work not too long ago.

Palu, meanwhile, seemed to be sulking, perhaps having recieved a dressing down for whatever tedium-induced behaviour caused the paper blizzard.

A pair of blue eyes peered around the doorframe, and small, black ears twitched. A tiny form inhaled, and became bigger, for just a moment, while a velvet-black paw gripped a marker tightly. There was paper up there on that thing, beautiful, beautiful paper that was just begging to be drawn all over. Alice the Jigglypuff tried to keep form bouncing with glee - at least for a moment, before she gave up and hopped up onto the tall thing, pulled out her marker, and began scribbling. "Puff! Puff Jiggly Jiggly~!" She sang to herself, ignoring the Rocket and the Pidgeotto in favor of wreaking havoc on the papers below her.

A moment later, another pair of blue eyes peered around the corner, and the puff was immediately scooped up with a scowl, then dropped on the floor as Callista ran a hand through her pink ponytail and groaned.

"How much did she ruin? I'll help fix it if I can - ugh no you don't, Aiden, get BACK here," the pink-haired Rocket yelped, grabbing a Squirtle by the paw as he tried to run away, big eyes fixated back in the direction they'd come from - there was a candy machine back there! Meanwhile, a certain Misdreavus cackled briefly to herself and floated through the wall to look at the Pidgeotto.

"Dreavus?" She asked, wondering why the flying-type seemed so... sulky.

Tambrey blinked at the slight noise heard, then yelped herself as something Jigglypuff-shaped yet... creepy had leapt onto the table. She peered in disbelief and perhaps some initial fear as the small thing began to scribble over the papers.
"..." She stared and then frowned, insult finally taking over the other emotions. "What in the name of all things holy are you?! And what are you doing to my paperwork!" Blink. Someone has come to scoop up the strange little thing. "Uh... I don't kn- What is that thing?" She wasn't sure how to respond and narrows one eye, tilting her head slightly to the right as she watched an apparently hungry Squirtle. "... Wha'.." She didn't seem to be able to gather her thoughts for a moment.

Palu turned her head to watch the chaos with wide, indignant eyes; how dare another pokemon disrupt anything here! She'd been scolded for simply messing up the pile! Suddenly, there's a ghost type in front of her.
She narrowed her eyes suspiciously and hopped back, remembering another certain ghost encounter. "...Pidgeotto." She greeted warily and pointed a wing back toward the desk and chaos upon it, as if in explanation of everything.

Callista sighed, rolling her eyes at the squealing Jigglypuff even as she recalled the unwilling puffball into her pokeball where she couldn't cause any more trouble. "That was Alice. She's supposed to be a Jigglypuff, but someone in the labs went out and made her into... well, whatever crazy kind of Jigglypuff she is. Her attacks are all normal, she's just psychotic," Callista explained, not at all nonplussed by the strange behavior of her little black 'puff.

Misa turned her gaze to look over at the pile of messed up papers, and rolled her eyes. "...Dreavus," she said, frustration dripping from her voice. That stupid Alice! She was worse trouble than Aiden! "Drea? Dreavus?" she added, her eyes a bit softer as she looked at the Pidgeotto - the crazy normal-type hadn't done anything too out of line, had she? Attacking another pokemon all on her own was completely out of bounds for proper behavior!

"Alice." Blink. Blink. Blink. "That... thing is called... Alice?!" Tambrey's expression slowly twisted out of the incredulous grump and, despite a fight over the situation of the paperwork, the corners of her mouth were slowly rising. "That... is ridiculously, eerily, disturbingly... er... cute."
She was smirky, even as she looked back at the ruined paperwork. "Y' think I could get away with hiding this stuff? I don't wanna do it all again and your... ridiculous cute-slash-evil Jigglypuff worked so hard to draw across it." She shook her head, amused now, still exasperated, but remembered some manners. "Oh. I'm Tambrey, by the way. Sulky-feathers is Palu."

Palu shook her head at the ghost pokemon and gestured at her trainer. "Pidgee Pidgeotto!" The bird explained being told off for scattering the paperwork. And now even sulkier as her trainer seems -less annoyed- over that Jiggly thing ruining it all?! "Pidge!" She shouted grumpily, both at the Misdreavus, but perhaps moreso meant to carry her indignation at Tam'.

"I assure you, Alice its a terrifying name," Callista said, her expression flat as she shoved a pink strand of hair out of her eyes. Glancing over at the paperwork, the pinkette shrugged. "Ah, you could always shred it and blame a trainee for the loss," she added. It wasn't exactly a morally sound suggestion, but this was Team Rocket, after all! Shaking her head, Callista offered a semi-polite smile. "I'm Callista. Aiden's the Squirtle, Misa is the Misdreavus bothering your Palu."

She tilted her head and thought for a moment. "What kind of paperwork did they have you doing, anyway?"

Misa's eyes widened and she frowned sympathetically. "Dreavus? Drea!" Her own expression turned indignant, and she turned a yellow gaze to the Pidgeotto's trainer, glaring at her for a moment before blowing a raspberry at the silly human.

"Y'know, I probably could." Tambrey did look rather tempted- it was indeed Team Rocket, but then again, who knew if her work would be properly checked... Technically it was only filing, too, thus she couldn't be responsible for Jigglypuffs writing across it. Of course, she was more than likely try to redo things anyway, otherwise it would just bug her.
"Oh. It's... well. it seems to be inventories and things; I don't think any of them are current actually... Just like, records. So many beakers."

The dark-haired grunt shrugged and smiled sheepishly, then decided to aknowledge the names that had just been revealed.
"Ah. I'll deal with it later. It's nice to meet you Callista- er, d'you mind being called Calli' or Callista only? Oh, it's nice to meet the rest of you too, of course." Tambrey looked at the other pokemon in turn. And blinked at the less than friendly look being given to her by the ghost type pokemon. "Er. Apparently not so much for Misa."

Palu looked smug. A ghost type on her side? She liked Misa already, though her own attempt at a raspberry could only become a strange form of warble.

"I wouldn't worry about it too much, then," Callista said, shrugging and scooping the Squirtle up into her arms so he couldn't run away back to his prized candy machine. "And call me whichever, it doesn't matter." Instead she turned and glanced at Misa, shaking her head. "Don't mind her, she thinks she knows better than anyone else about everything."

The Misdreavus' response was an indignant "Dreeeea!" as she looked decidedly cross - apparently she didn't think she knew better, she really did! Pouting slightly, the ghost-type turned back to Palu, watching her curiously. "Misdreaaavus!" She declared, having decided that, for the moment at least, all trainers were stupid and therefore uninteresting.

She shifted the files and shuffled them until the Jigglypuff soiled one was safely at the bottom. She'd deal with the repurcussions when and if they ever came up.
She doubted they would, but surely a spoilt file couldn't bring too much trouble either way.

"Right... Er. Calli' it is then. Rolls off the tongue better. It's a nice name long or short though." She smiled as she watched the squirtle then turned to see the bird and ghost sharing in irritation at the two trainers.
"Heh. They seem quite the handful."

Palu eyed the two humans too. Clearly pokemon knew better than humans and she believed this ghost type in such claims. For a ghost type, Misa seemed perfectly reasonable to her.
"Pidge!" The pidgeotto agreed. Trainers were a pain and clearly the two of them were superior to any human.

Callista nodded, allowing a small but distant smile to cross her features. "Thanks, I suppose," she said quietly, and turned to watch the ghost and flying types with more interest.

"Handful doesn't even begin to cover it... but it's worth it, I guess. Maybe someday I'll actually get something that's not defective," she said, making a face that her Misdreavus picked up on, resulting in the ghost type floating over and dropping over her trainer's face with a disgruntled complaint. Humans! Thinking they were soooo much better!

"Hah! Defective?"
Tambrey grinned and shook her head.
"I'm not entirely sure that's possible... I think they're all a big collection of defects and that's why they work. If they were all a standard fit, I don't think I'd find 'em as interestin' as I do... Palu o'er there, f'r example... She'll never evolve. A genetic anomaly... something went wrong in her last evolution and switched the ability to do so further off... Doesn't seem fixable, but it's certainly fascinating." She blinked then as the ghost type dropped.
"Erm. Hello."

Palu squawked her appreciation of the Misdreavus, and of course her agreement. So, clearly not all ghost types were bad after all.
This one seemed just Palu's sort of pokemon.

"My squirtle, Aiden, is the same wa-" Callista started to say, her words cut off as her ghost type played her favorite prank. "Misa, get off," she said, her voice sounding strangely muffled by the little ghost.

"Drea!" Misa said smugly, floating back up and making a face at both of the silly humans. They needed to learn to behave, and to show proper respect to their very important pokemon.

Ooh.
The same way.
Tambrey's mind honed in on those words and the squirtle suddenly became a lot more fascinating.
To meet another pokemon with the same 'defect' as Palu was always very interesting, and her mind wondered over what gene they might both potentially share for them to have become that way.
She'd have to consult a geneticist sometime; she'd never gotten far enough to specialize in such a field, though biological sciences remained the field she was most knowledgeable in.

"Cute." Tambrey grinned as the ghost type rose back up, appreciating the trick though her mind still strayed to the squirtle and pidgeotto.
She glanced back with a raised eyebrow to Palu after the ghost pulled a face. The bird's smug look was indicative of the new alliance found in the two pokemon.

"So... When and where did you meet your pokemon? Y' really do have some fascinating individuals- I mean, behavourially, colour-wise and, apparently, in other ways genetically, they are a really impressive and fascinating little bunch..."
