Queen Laurelite
Location: C8
Action: Speaking to Niter, Ganymede, and Valhalla; giving Valhalla her scythe. Up to something...

Laurelite did not look at Niter when he spoke, but her eyes rose to the sky as if she were calculating something. Without seeking them out specifically, she seemed equally aware of Magnus, Beatrix, and Meissa. “Haters? Oh,” she laughed lightly and spoke in a sugary voice as she answered him. “Don’t be silly. My enemies wouldn’t be so foolish as to approach me so casually.” She looked at Dejanira and Drombeg with amusement in her eyes.

“And Ganymede and Valhalla are old friends of mine.”

Her gaze slid to them, and her eyes sparkled with mirth. “In fact, I’m rather happy to catch up. How’s the family? Oh, but I suppose this isn’t the best time to trade stories. Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll see them soon enough.”

Though there were several order characters nearby, Laurelite thrived in the company of the Negaverse soldiers around her.

“Did you want to see what I have up my sleeves? Let me show you. Valhalla, be a dear.”

She held her scythe in one hand, upright and unaimed. She stretched her hand out to him, towards his chest.

She pushed her scythe into his hands.

    “Hold this for me.”

Cici thought it was a little odd to be getting a ring on a battlefield but who was she to argue with the affairs of people as powerful as they were. So she kept her thoughts to herself. The teleport had been really hard on her and she had been confused as to where she was for a little bit before she got her thoughts together and took in the crazy sight around her. "How are we going to fight that?" She asked looking in shock at the huge scale in the sky. She smiled "Just doing my duty to my General, after all he would never forgive me or himself if you got hurt with no one to aid you." She shrugged she wasn't afraid of order members but she had never been attacked by one so had no reason to fear them yet. She wouldn't discount his discomfort, though. She cocked her eyebrow "Do you really think this might become a faction fight today?" She pointed to the huge monster "Do you think anyone will have spells left at the end? Oh I suppose you mean brute force." She sigh "So stupid"

One by one, the spikes found their place. It wasn’t pretty. It wasn’t glorious.

It was metal into ground–or what almost passed as such, in this strange between-space. With each attempted puncture, it was as if the very ground tore beneath them. Spikes so sharp, so carefully crafted, that as their energy coursed through them, they pierced through the universe and hooked this prison into place.

But five were not enough.

Pure white energy arced like lightning, linking the five spikes together. Two did not connect. Each of them stretched towards each other, reached desperately. Sometimes, they almost touched.

The pale lines that had guided each spike-bearer to their necessary location might have faced, now replaced by solid lines that followed the path of the arcing lightning.

An unfinished hexagon. It burned with energy, warm and illuminating. Though the prison was incomplete, it pulsed with a force beyond reason. It passed through each and every person there like little more than a breeze, but once it reached the outskirts of the domain it was like a hurricane, gusts so powerful it churned the sky itself.

For better, and for worse.

The Calamitous Hollow’s underbelly was so large that it took up nearly the whole sky, and it moved quickly. A well-trained eye might be able to follow it, but it sped by like a bullet train in the sky. It sounded like one, too.

It doesn’t even seem to notice them.

Until, the spikes suddenly stopped trying to connect to each other.

They tried to connect to it.

Five tiny spikes, each two feet long, had enough power to strike at the Calamitous Hollow.

It was so far out of reach.

It was so hopeless.

The gravitational pull of it felt like it could suck them right into the sky. A thin layer of electricity blankets the ground, enough to make them aware of the sudden charge but not enough to hurt. Yet.

It was growing.

And so was Laurelite’s energy signature.

She made the first move against it because she could. It didn’t need to be the spectacle she made it, but she wanted them to see.

Let them all witness the power of Metallia.

Let them see what the Negaverse was capable of.

Purple discs of energy manifested before her, creating a spiral staircase that she slowly climbed.

She smiled, but there was a wickedness about it.

Laurelite raised her arms wide and the sky split open.

A cannon of pure, volatile Chaos struck the Calamitous Hollow with enough force that it visibly recoiled. There was no telling where it came from, only that Laurelite commanded it.

It was sickening. Even for members of the Negaverse, it was so much, like the walls closing in around them. It was worse for order. For them, it felt like acid across the skin and sunk so deeply it twisted their heart. Their starseeds burned. It did no damage to them, not really.

But if they hadn’t been afraid of the Negaverse before, they should be now.

No human should possess that power. Laurelite kept her arms open for nearly fifteen seconds while the raw energy blasted the Calamitous Hollow.

She’d hurt it worse than she hurt them, and the effects showed immediately.

The Calamitous Hollow shrunk. Maybe not by much at first, but the more Chaos that poured into it, the more fight it put up against it.

It slowed significantly, and though only a small part of it was visible, its width only took up half the sky. Scales the size of a bus shrunk to scales the size of car–and they were falling.

They plummeted downwards, picking up speed. Some of them left a trail of lightning behind them. As they approached, it was easier to make out some details. They were large, perfectly smooth, and might have even been beautiful if their audience was unafraid of being crushed like a bug.

Twelve of them fell from the sky.

A pale blue shield hummed to life and spread like an explosion, covering the entire field. Lyndin was still tinkering with his device. He hadn't looked up once. He worked diligently while the Vanguard covered him.

Their work paid off.

The hastily constructed device was only four feet wide; it looked like 6 metal pizza slices had been assembled. At each point, a half foot rod pointed to the sky. In the center, a large white stone as large as a basketball was fixed.

A Source Stone of immeasurable size and power, fueled by the diligent efforts of the Vanguard.

Three of the twelve scales crashed into the shield, and though it cracked, it did not break. The other nine scales ricocheted off the shield and splintered into a thousand little shards. The shrapnel propelled right back at the Calamitous Hollow.

It flailed in the sky and, though it was not immediately obvious, it shriveled into itself and shrunk again.

It was still so long that there was no sign of its start, but there, snapping like a whip, was its end.

The Calamitous Hollow had two fins on its tail, like the giant wings of an airplane. One was fully intact.

The other was badly damaged, missing half and what remained was scabbed over and calloused. Something glints in the tail, burning brightly.

The spikes suddenly arced towards the damaged fin specifically--frantically, desperately.

You may not have the sixth spike.

But the Calamitous Hollow does.

The Calamitous Hollow seems to be taking damage but it is still an impossibly large monster. Have hope, because the sixth spike seems to be embedded in its tail–but there’s no way you have any chance of reaching it as it is now.

But–you see it. You know it’s there.

You have a chance.

Laurelite has unleashed what seems to be a massive strike of Chaos on the beast; it has shrunk in size as a result. Thanks to the efforts of the Negaverse’s energy gathering, they have been able to do 3743 damage. ICly, very few people will be able to recognize just how this feat was accomplished, and players should seek mule approval to do so; OOCly, the Negaverse was able to charge an immense Deep Space Assault and strike the beast. However, every Order character in spot C8 has lost 10HP as a result of being within close proximity of Queen Laurelite. Chaos characters are unaffected. HP information will be announced in the next post but please keep this in mind.

The Vanguard’s efforts to collect energy have allowed them to construct a shield that covers the entire area. They were able to protect against the falling scales, and though the shield seems to have taken some damage, it will protect somewhat during future attacks. Not only has the Vanguard assisted in protecting everyone here, they were also able to do 292 damage.

This fight has only just begun, and the Calamitous Hollow is far from defeat.

THE CALAMITOUS HOLLOW
4035/????? HP

Three giant scales, each the size of a car, have come to rest atop the Vanguardian shield in spaces C2, D7, and H8. The shield has begun to bow in these areas, and a great shadow has been cast across spaces. Players in these spaces should move immediately unless they want to risk being crushed. Characters should not move into these spaces unless they want to take massive damage.

Every character should roll a 1d100.
The highest number wins; in the event of a tie, an RNG will be determined in the main thread; characters will be assigned their number based on timestamp. Players who have a character with a spike have a special role to fill and will be ineligible to participate in this dice roll.

This is your last opportunity to join with characters and place them in any space; as of the next prompt, movement will be limited. Battle mechanics will be introduced so please make sure you are in a location you are happy with! While characters can continue to OOCly join after this point in time, any character who is joining will have arrived immediately prior to this post. If your character is a latecomer and joins after the next prompt, they will arrive in spaces E4-E7 and will be expected to take all damage that has occurred in that area.

User Image

All characters will arrive in any of the spaces from E4-E7; There is presently no limit to how many spaces you can move, so please use this post to select a square for your character(s) to be in. Players can also utilize this google doc to log their character’s location for easy reference. When posting for this round of dice rolling, please use the following form:

Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journal
Location: (Choose one square, A1-I10; while there are limitations to how many squares you will be able to move at one time in the future, for this post you can move to any area you prefer but movement will be limited in future prompts.
Action: (Post a brief summary of what your character is doing; this includes actions as well as who they are interacting with)

The next prompt will be posted Thursday the 17th at some point after 8PM EST. Latecomers to this RP will still receive the giftbag but are not eligible for any additional items from it. Players will not be able to make up for missed rolls or expired prompts, and if there are repercussions for joining late, they will be announced with the new prompt. Please make sure you are reading all of the OOC rules when a new prompt is posted, as this section and requirements for posting will change as the RP progresses!

You cannot reserve posts. If you make a post, you must write at least one relevant sentence within one hour. Please respect that if you do not fill your post out promptly, players may need to skip over your post; please do not backfill posts after a reasonable window, as this may affect the players who posted after you. It is recommended to have pre-written your post as much as possible prior to rolling to reduce the time it takes to fill out these posts.

A summary of general information from this ORP is available on the first page of the thread~ If you have any questions or if something got missed, please PM The Space Cauldron or DM Xigglet on Discord! Please quote the mule if you are interacting with an NPC or interaction with the environment in any way!

This roleplay has many opportunities to take unique paths for your characters; not every option is clearly spelled out and there are many directions you can go based on what feels right for your character. If you have an idea for something your character might like to try and you want to know if it’s possible, please reach out! This roleplay can be used to unlock some plots or features for your character (such as acquiring enhancements that require a plot, upgrades if your character has reached requirement/has art, etc.) so if you have an idea, please message Kyusiesha no Hikari / Xigglet on Discord or PM The Space Cauldron If you reach out and want to see if you can do a unique action for your character, you may be given special dice rolls or instructions; if you see another player doing something different from the prompt, please assume they have permission to do so. Unless you have plot approval for something, please do not roll differently than instructed in this post!

Location: C8
Action: Leaving C8 heading to B4

Dejanira was shocked at the displace of power and pain that was rained down on her and the other order members, she quickly moved herself away from the Queen heading for another area so she would not take more damage from the Queen's power, she could only hope the other order members would do the same trusting the Queen not to hurt them was clearly a foolish idea. The negaverse did not care about life and being kind to others, they only cared for power. She was amazed she had been able to do what she did. She did the only smart thing she could think of get out of that area.

Coco had stopped listening to them fight after they had so much going on, she didn't care who was more powerful as they watched the negaverse queen displace her power. She couldn't see what else had happened but the creature got smaller. Well that was good but that kind of power was scary to see on the side of chaos. They had princesses on their side but if it was a real fight would they be able to stand against the chaos side? She looked to the girls and the falling scales. Huh interesting. She didn't say anything else.

Location: E6
Action: Readying his bow

"Shitshitshit," he cursed under his breath as his grip tightened on Melpomene's hand. Watching the spikes fail to contain the thing or even do much to it, he summoned his bow as if it might do something to help. As much as his fiance wanted to be here to help, it wasn't like the thing would be close enough for their magic to do anything which left things to him.

But when Laurelite's signature seemed to grow impossibly stronger, he looked over to see her moving into action. She had to have a plan, and in fact she did. Whatever she had done, whatever that beam was, it made him both curious and relieved because the thing was actually effected by it.

Sighing and straightening up with his bow at the ready, he took stock of where people were and decided for now they'd be fine here.

"It can be hurt, that is quite a relief. Now, we just need to keep hitting it. Though the distance will pose a problem for the four of you." Looking at his lieutenant and fiance before looking at the two mauvians.

The fact that the Vanguard had been able to help as well improved his weary opinion of them, considering he'd only met one before and hadn't been sure exactly how he felt about them.

"Just because we are supposed to be on the same team for now does not mean that after the dust has cleared, we will be free of danger."

Offering some light pets and head scratches to Xyla, she noticed what Chal had done and chuckled slightly to herself. She hadn't guessed that they'd jump the gun five weeks early, but she knew her musician had been stressed, so maybe that was why they'd done it.

"Looks like Lyndin managed to get something together, good on him. I'll have to peek into what they are working with if I can at some point. Might be a nice side project."

When Laurelite's attack came down on the beast, she held back a hiss at the feeling that had come with it. Her tail bristled up, and her ears flattened against her head as she looked towards where the scales had fallen but were held up still, for the moment. She didn't like being out in the open with potential debris falling.

"We can keep an eye out to make sure we move quickly if we need to, I don't know if that thing will shed more scales or how many hits the shield can hold." It wasn't that she didn't trust it, she just didn't like giving unknown tech high expectations.

Well, Joy's original intention of trying to cozy up to some Negaverse clusters due to their presumed competence may have been dashed quite painfully, but her assumptions about that competence certainly seemed founded.

There were others, however, that looked like they probably weren't as completely useless as she had begun, in despair, to believe her own side to be. Good thing she was already standing near a bunch of them - and one in particular that seemed reassuringly unruffled.

Again she heard that voice, but she didn't see the woman. She would have tried moving closer, but there were so many bundled groups of people, and she didn't want to get too close to any of them.

Seeing the belly of the beast, she stared at it coldly. Why hadn't it gone to the library instead, nobody would have missed it, nobody would have cared if it ate that planet.

But whatever hit it, send a feeling that made her sick to her stomach in a way she'd never felt before. Reaching a hand up to her mouth, she stumbled for a moment as she tried to collect herself.

But hearing Laurelite talk brought her attention back towards the ground and her Queen. Watching the woman give her scythe away, she gave the man a death glare like no other because what the hell she wanted to hold the boss lady's weapon. It would look fire with her fuku, she thought.

Before she got to question why, she had an answer, and it was awesome. "Whoah...."

"SEE! See how awesome!" She pointed towards the sky as she looked at Meissa, as if she needed to prove more of a reason why Chaos was a better choice. She felt like maybe it'd be way easier to get people to join if you could just laser someone.

Cadet Rhysi
location: staying at G2
actions: observing, and keeping an eye out for threats, refraining from shooting the Squire.

The Chaos Queen's show of power was...immense. The continuing examples of magic being simply so overpowering may be good reason for Rhysi to rethink certain things. She wished she could scan the woman, especially now, at the height of action. The snake as well. Especially after its size was reduced.

Lyndin's efforts, and the result of their collections, though nowhere near as offense oriented, were still impressive. While the Negaverse Queen clearly did great damage, the Commodore was able to protect lives. But it would be nice to collect some samples from one of those scales, should they break though the shields' weakpoints.

The creature growing smaller meant head-on battle was growing more likely, so with blaster at hand and ready, Rhysi turned to see...an Earth Knight? Well, it was doubtful that they would be a threat, but Rhysi kept an eye on them.

Corrupt Eternal Meissa
Location: C8
Action: Side-eyeing Ganymede & Valhalla. Watching the display of power from Laurelite. Admiring the shield technology that has sprung up

Here was a different strategy that Meissa had not seen the Negaverse deploy yet. What good would it do to hand off one's own weapon to the so-called enemy? The knight that was left holding Laurelite's weapon got a death glare from Beatrix and Meissa had to quickly jab the Dullahan senshi in the side. Okay, it probably wasn't in her right to try to silently chastise Beatrix in any way to behave but surely even she could see the wisdom of at least appearing non-threatening while the enemy held a weapon of great power. "Rein in your hostility B. It's not the end of the world if you can't hold the boss lady's bad-a** scythe," Meissa quickly amended her statement, "well it could be the end of the world if we don't focus on defeating the enemy above us currently."

Speaking of the battle her eyes widened at the immense bolt of chaotic energy that was being used by Laurelite in order to attack the beast. The sensation of her skin prickling in response to the overall chaotic aura had Meissa quickly rubbing at her arms in a sign of slight discomfort but it appeared as if those that were of the Order persuasion were faring even worse. The princess and her knight didn't look so good, as it appeared to her gaze now that the attack from Laurelite had concluded. Tough luck.

Even as a shield sprang up from another location on the field, Meissa found her attention shifting once more to the sky above them. Scales had rained down from the giant snake creature and while nine of them had been met with destruction it appeared as if three were now just resting onto of whatever protection had been installed in order to keep the people on the ground safe. "Now that's something you don't see everyday," she muttered to herself more than anyone else around her.

Byakko was watching as the big bad lady decided to bombard the electric snake with chaos. She winced as it felt like acid crawling over her skin. They were a decent amount away from it but the effects still were felt. "Oh lord, not messing with her." Byakko muttered.

She was watching the Calamitous Hollow shrink with each hit it took from the queen. Then there were scales that fell off, hit the shield that was trying to protect them. She watched as it weakened some but bounced shards of the scales back at the snake. "I wonder if it's belly is the weak point."

She noticed however, there were also large scales that were laying on the shield and not bounced back. "We need to be careful." She stated nodding her head towards those spots that were in danger. One of them was directly behind the group. "I don't know about staying here too long." She admitted.

Tea was about to give a sigh but something was going on as she watched Laurelite ascend to the sky. "What is she about to..." She was cut off from finishing her question when the amount of chaos that seemed to pelt the Calamitous Hollow surged.

Tea's skin crawled and the senshi of mice frowned heavily. It was bad enough she shivered. "Oh lord that is impressive power."

She didn't like it but that was what it was, she watched as the sky snake shrunk smaller and smaller with each hit. The scales that shattered and bounced back also hit it. She was watching and tilted her head, "What's with it's tail?" She'd caught a quick glimpse but it was hard to tell.

Commodore Lyndin
Location: F3
Action: Maintaining the shield device and trusting the Vanguardians to ensure he has the means to do so

It wasn’t that he hadn’t wanted to answer Aliez, only that time clearly wasn’t on their side and they needed to move as quickly as possible. In an ideal world, he would have had more time, but whatever Laurelite had done was–

Catastrophic. He hadn’t looked, but he had felt it.

This day and age, there was so little that was new to him, but that was among it.

He couldn’t afford further distractions; as the scales dropped from the sky, he’d finished the adjustments. He’d charged up the shield.

Lyndin even managed to breathe a soft sigh of relief when it held. If he’d had the proper materials, this wouldn’t have been any sort of problem, but Earth was primitive in many ways, and they had neither raw materials nor proper equipment to process them.

Briefly, he glanced at the scales that rocked slowly in place atop the shield. Some of them had even started dipping through, like a rock slowly sinking into a pool.

“You’re right, Aliez,” he said, but loud enough for all to hear. “But I think you misjudge how far away that day is. I think you’re all carrying your weight right now.” He explained quickly, “I didn’t want to get your hopes up if I couldn’t do this. I’ve only been able to run it in trial simulations but the conditions were different. I didn’t want to give you false hope. Perhaps I should have had more confidence.” He paused, and then said to the group, “I didn’t want to let you down again.”

What he had done before was necessary. He stood by it. If he knew then what he knew now, would he have done the same thing back then?

Maybe.

But that was the past, and this was the present, and if they wanted to have a future, they needed to fight for it.

He had to return to tinkering with the shield but his hands had never stopped moving. “Every hit will deplete the energy. The shield will weaken, and it will destabilize. It’s only holding now because we managed to gather so much energy. For which, I think that speaks for itself. People are alive now because of the energy you gathered. Because of what you have done. You’ve already helped more than you know.”

General Benitoite
Location I4
Action: Spike things, sherr force of will handling this on his own.

While heading where the path led him he could feel himself being followed, he knew his cousins were with him, but more than his cousins he could feel someone else. It wasn't until he'd stopped and the spike had been...well spiked into the ground with some force that he looked up. Gasping at the power he felt pushing, surging, through him. It didn't hurt but it wasn't the most welcome of powers, unlike the energy he normally had or what he'd even felt upon each promotion, this energy wasn't wanted but he didn't withdraw his hold from the spike either.

Staring at Ida a smirk fell across his features. "Are you protecting me? Or are you making sure I do my job?" He called out to her, because of course someone was watching him, he found it amusing that he had the attention of a Royal senshi and that they had decided to keep an eye on him. "Don't worry, for once our goals align, I'm not one for failing in my duties." He wasn't much for failing in general and he was stubborn enough that he wasn't about to lose this fight. His grip tightened on the spike, silently daring anyone to question him, he wouldn't be budging from this spot nor would he be letting the spike go.

Back stright, hands on the spike, he could feel the strain on his body start and he felt it in his muscles as he tensed and locked his knees. There was a stress in this which he wasn't expecting but he should have perhaps, there was power in this object and he was connected to it. he'd been connected to the spike since he'd gone for it that night...it had called to him and not Chalcanthite. Now he was holding it as he felt his chest tighten and his heart seemed to pump faster and harder for several moments. A gasp of surprise passed his lips before he silenced himself. Taking the time to force himself to calm, to breath slower, easier, he tried to force his heart to pump normally, closing his eyes as he held firm. This was his duty and he would hold firm. How no one could hear his hreat beating, could tell how hard it was beating, was beyond him but he was certain someone should be able to see or hear it - something. Biting the inside of his cheek he forced himself to calm and took slow and steady breaths by force, ignoring the flutter in his chest or how a full breath was hard to achieve. When he finally had calmed himself he found he could sense a bond of sorts to the object he held in his hands.

There was no way they were going to lose - they simply wouldn't. He knew it.

Opening his eyes he found himself giving a soft, almost peaceful, smile as he stared up at the beast - it wasn't going to survive the night. He'd not noticed the spikes connecting, so caught up in steading himself, he could handle the strain so long as everyone else did their part. Laurelite was...amazing. But the darkness...it was even a lot for him and it left him nearly trembling. For what reason, wether because it was so dark, too dark, or the sheer awe was unknown. But the feeling of darkness from her, the immense power, it was a lot to take in and to feel. Where had that bit of magic come from, and what was it? It worked though as slowly but surely the beast started to get smaller and the spikes were connecred and doing their part, whatever that was, they were doing their work. "We'll see this night through." He spoke softly, a strain in his voice, as he looked towards Mara and Diaboleite. A look to Wolframite and those with him...Stitchite, he was glad to see Lorcan here and know he was well. It was so good to see them all here.

As he kept a hold of the spike he felt his legs give and he sunk to the ground, kneeling there, his hands never left the spike and he kept it there where it needed to be. "Don't worry, the preasure from what our Queen just did...." He explained, hoping they would buy it. It was immense what she had just done, there was so much darkness and power, it felt so constricting. It wasn't the only reason but he hoped his answer would be enough.

Snowball : Journal - Currently Human Form (Has Sailor unlocked)
Location: G8
Action: Startled by the large scale that just dropped on the shield at the square beside them.
Roll: 13

Snowball nodded when Metis said that was Queen Laurelite, "I don't think I've hard the pleasure of meeting her." At least he couldn't remember having the pleasure of meeting the current Negaverse Queen. He was sure he'd heard of others though.

His fur bristled when there was an obvious showing of chaos and how powerful it could be as Laurelite just dropped Chaos bombs basically onto the Calamitous Hollow. It started shrinking like Mario when hit. His eyes were watching as the scales dropped, some shattering and being shot back. There had to be a massive amount of damage done to the snake. When the scale dropped on the spot beside them Snowball jumped and hissed. "I think we should moveeee." He didn't want to be a bug, and even though they were in the spot right beside the scale it didn't mean that would stop another from falling on them.

Niflhel Knight of Saturn : Journal
Location: G8
Action: Mulling over how to immobilize the snake in order for others to hit it.
Roll: 79

Niflhel was watching as Laurelite made a spectral of herself. Of course Chaos would show up and show off. His eyes narrowed as he ignored the burn of Chaos as it ran through the field. Laurelite of course was hitting the thing with some sort of massive attack but there were still enough left for all of them to do.

He looked at Metis. "We should start planning on how to immobilize it if we can." He looked at the kids too, "If we could get it to stop moving, blind it and make it more sensitive to attacks we might stand a better chance for someone to get what I think is that spike we need." He wasn't sure if Metis could see the spike with the way her vision worked; he hoped she could.

When Snowball panicked over the scale dropping right beside them honey brown eyes looked over, "I... would hope the odds of another dropping right beside that one are..... slim." Granted he almost didn't want to take the chance but -- they weren't in trouble yet. "Kids if another drops too close to us I want you to run." He added looking back at them, "Realta you and Snowball keep them safe."

Sailor Totoro, Chibi Senshi of raccoons (basic) : Journal
Location: G8
Action: Awed by Laurelite and the Snake.
Roll: 48

The energy that was given by the woman called Laurelite was impressive. Totoro's mouth was agape up until he could feel the burn of Chaos and cringed. It was unpleasant and he wanted it to end but knew they needed that to keep going in order to maybe have a chance.

When he heard Niflhel talking about immobilizing the snake he was curious, "How would we do that? It's so high up there. I don't think my attack can reach it. And who has the power to do what you're talking about?"

He looked over towards Laurelite "Does she have it?"

When the scale dropped he moved closer to Realta trying not to quite hide behind the mauvian but he was much closer to her now. "Oh man, this is crazy." He looked over to Aquitania, "Are you okay?" He was worried about her as much as he was worried about himself. He also nodded when Metis said never to linger where the negaverse could catch them and again when Niflhel told them if another scale fell close to them to run.
