Coco was still waiting for whatever was going to happen next and she was with her friend and her sister but she expected Tea's sister would likely become a friend as well. She looked up at the sky again. She looked at Tea and said "This is what we've been waiting for." She said softly and she sighed they had talked about this and their faith that they would be alright. "I'm glad I was able to help you to gain more power." She said smiling again. She looked to Tea's sister wondering if she was at the same power level as Tea was. "It's nice to meet you." She said warmly. (Word count 326)
Half Youma Captain Janggunite and Youma Maikoh (Maikoh is getting distracted by Lameia's praise, Jan is just happy she's paused in her efforts to eat someone's starseed)
Maikoh glanced over her shoulder at the crackle of heat and sparks in the air, at the added weight dragging her back, only to see another agent had latched onto Janggunite's arm, apparently to aid in his attempts to stop her progress. She tossed her head dissmissivly, braids and furs flailing as she set to pulling both of them along with her. Necessary effort. Necessary effort toward capturing the sweet lure of a particular starseed whispering to her...
'You're gorgeous!' Though her gaze remained fixed on her target ahead, Maikoh's ears swiveled back in the direction of the complement. Meant for her pretty-man partner surely, decorated in his delicate petals and sweet smells. Things to hide the poison of his nature. 'You have hooves!' Janggunite did not have hooves.
She chanced another look back, and it was to see the previously-ignored Senshi girl gushing in Maikoh's direction, eyes shining. It gave her pause, made her tail sway in a slow rhythm. "Ah, this snack... has good eyes," Maikoh rumbled. "Very fast," she agreed. "Very strong. Very... smart." This last bit was pointed enough that it may have been a compliment to the Senshi girl. She had noticed something spectacular after all. "Come, come." She beckoned with a clawed hand. "I see you are small as the pup was when he was found. Maikoh will keep you safe, snack."
Janggunite huffed, pinching the bridge of his nose but keeping narrowed, skeptical eyes on his briefly-distracted Youma partner. "I was not- am not- small..." There had, admittedly, been quite a bit less of him when he'd met Maikoh, but he'd still been tall, and frightfully older than most Negaverse recruits.
But at least almost all of her attention seemed to be on the Senshi for now. Warily, Janggunite let her go.
"Sorry," he sighed out in dramatic defeat, turning his focus back to the agent. "I've always had some trouble convincing her to do what I want, but I appreciate you not blowing me off there. I'm Janggunite. This is Maikoh."
The Youma's golden gaze flicked briefly to the other agent, but she was predominantly still enamored by the Senshi, and it showed. Even when a velvet bag appeared before her, it had drifted completely to the ground before Maikoh sniff-sniff-sniffed the air, then reached down to collect it. She picked it apart with her claws, then hummed in satisfaction. "...Trinkets for Maikoh. Hmmm..." Producing the berry from the sack, she observed it. "It is... a snack?"
"No, no!" Janggunite seethed, not for the first time that day. "We don't know where it's from or what it is. It's not a snack." ...Though even Jan had to admit that his own did look pleasantly edible enough. But also was probably the least impressive item present.
Lacaille was still waiting for the next part of this event to occur she wasn't sure what to do with herself Coco was off with her friend and Lacaille didn't see a need to get in her way she didn't want to hover over her guardian cat. They had their own lives and Coco didn't treat Lacaille like an airhead. She couldn't help but be happy she was the way she was but clearly Queen Serenity had grown a lot in her time period. She had only met her hologram but still she was curious about the stories of her as a young girl and if they were really true. The Queen seemed so put together and ready to help them save the world. The idea of her being late for school seemed so strange. She shook her head and wandered off on the battlefield to try and find someone else to fight alongside. She wasn't really sure who she was looking for but she was open to fighting along side just about anyone. (Word count 409)
Roll: 72. Action: With Industria. Holding on to her, lest they get separated. Preparing himself.
Industria’s approach, and more so her hand on his arm, made Cryptomelane’s cheeks flush warm. Still, he made a throaty, affirmatory sound in response to what she had to say. Ympe agreed as well, nodding and clacking his spindly fingers together. His distinctive little cackle nearly got lost among the ambient noise from the crowd of people—and it absolutely did get lost when the sky ripped open. As some unseen vacuum tried to pull them off, Ympe started shrieking in terror, throwing his arms around Cryptomelane’s neck and hanging on for dear life.
“You will be fine, Ympe,” Cryptomelane told him, speaking up and projecting his voice so Ympe could hear him. “I won’t let any harm befall you……nor you.”
By way of making his point, he looped an arm around Industria’s waist and held her close. If they got sucked off anywhere, the three of them would go together.
Through the furious noise of the storm, Cryptomelane only barely heard the warning from Faustite playing across Negaverse communicators, telling them to be careful with any metal. Unfortunately, Cryptomelane didn’t have much metal he could take off. His medals, sure; he took them off and threw them into his subspace, hoping that it might help him avoid attracting the lightning, especially when Ympe clung to him so insistently. The small amount of metal in his glasses, Cryptomelane would need to endure, and he rightly had no idea what the spiked pumpkin ball on the end of his flail was made of. The handle, however, was not metal and should’ve stopped the lightning from getting to him through that.
The gift-bag was something of an ancillary concern, but Cryptomelane caught the one before him anyway. It took some finagling, but he got the bracelet on and the little purple diamond pinned to his jacket where his medals had been.
Actaea looked at Captain Sodalite and she nodded in greeting and then she turned her attention to the rest of the group. She noticed the other corrupt on her team was hiding her smile at the antics of the group. Actaea wasn't acting with as much tack as Super Corrupt Hylonome. She didn't expect less from a senshi who's sphere was a flower elegant nature. The harvest was a little wilder if she asked Actaea, but she didn't comment. She turned to Prehnite and said "I think I met him before but I can't remember off hand." She said with a shrug. Actaea laughed and then said "Well, if the earth is destroyed, he won't have many customers left or those to do tasks for him. I've heard he asked for pods during the star festival." She liked her group they were fun and made her feel comfortable. She didn't want any of them to meet a horrible fate. She cocked her eye at Sodalite and said "Maybe we can hope someone not in our group dose that and you can watch?" Least she hoped that Sodalite wouldn't want something bad to happen to one of their group. (Word count 421)
He’d left the relative safety of his Wonder as soon as he’d arrived there, had stared out the window across the river to the cathedral where he knew some of his friends were and made a split second decision without thinking it all through. He appeared back in Destiny City exactly where he’d left—among the trees along the wooded path where he’d first awakened, near the fairy garden tucked into a little clearing.
Yvoire had the coordinates, but no way to get there quickly.
So he ran. Through the playground, down the street, around corners, past closed up businesses and darkened alleyways, heels sinking into dirt or clicking along pavement. He ran as fast as his power allowed, until his lungs ached and his legs burned, seeking out the large cluster of auras along the fringe of his awareness.
Yvoire skidded to a stop near the outskirts of the gathering as the wind picked up. His long hair whipped around. His hat flew off, carried away by the violent wind before he could retrieve it. He looked for his friends but couldn’t see them through the collection of figures around him. He thought about shouting for them but wasn’t even sure they’d be able to hear him over the gale.
He grabbed the little velvet bag on instinct more than conscious thought. It was merely in the way, appearing before him in a burst of glitter. Yvoire’s panicked gaze rose to the sky instead of considering the gifts.
Action: opening bag and joining Solaris, Alastor, Lucien and Sessrumnir
A bag?
Of all the things to fall out of the sky at that moment.
Of course, Urania wasted no time in rummaging through hers. A purple diamond pin she attached to her senshi collar. A round purple berry she put in subspace. A bracelet, as instructed, she wore.
Wishing you strength, health, and a safe path forward.
The senshi wondered if each where the wishes that Almadel gave them — one item per wish.
She waved back at Solaris and ran to meet her. Everyone was grouping up in some fashion and she hated to be alone. The other senshi had been helpful in researching the storms.
“Solaris. Alastor. Lucien.” She believed she recognized the knight, but didn’t recall his name.
Erytheia examined each item in the bag. A pin. A berry. A bracelet.
How would these help? The horned man left if unclear. Of course, he was a merchant so he should have expected mysterious items, but he didn’t count on figuring out how to use them himself.
The knight looked around for someone who looked like they knew what this meant.
Action: opening bag and heckling staying by his team
“A one-way trip? That chaotic b*****d.”
Well, looks like it was do or die around here. ******** him.
“Glad to see you gave the stick to the most competent of any of us.” He nodded sagely to Hestia. “You know I can’t stab anything worth a damn.”
The cat looked about the team as more and more stood around opening their merchant gifts.
“Save the sappy talk til someone almost dies, Albite. Bound to happen given we are facing so god-like entity from a realm so dark Metallia doesn’t even want it.”
Adria would have been happier on Ganymede. It would have been more comfortable, probably even safe. Varuna had made a good argument–help with the kids, look after people. He’d debated for a long time on what to do but the guilt of his safety at the expense of others’ finally wore out.
Staying on Ganymede was good if defeat was certain, but he just wasn't ready to give up on all of Earth.
He wasn't the best at fighting, and his magic wasn’t even that good. He felt like he was taking up space or like he was getting in the way but he was determined to at least try and help.
Varuna didn’t have to come with him; she could have stayed on Ganymede.
But, she was here. With her hand on his back, he felt a strength he’d forgotten, and he offered her an appreciative smile just before the bag manifested before them. Everyone seemed to be getting them–or, at least, there were so many that he couldn’t quite keep up with it. It seemed too generous to be a trap but he handled it cautiously and even slowly opened it.
Nothing dangerous, but he wasn’t sure what it was. He glanced up again to see if they’d gotten the same things and it seemed familiar enough.
“Thank you,” he said, because he wasn’t sure if he’d told her before. “...For coming with me.”
He probably could have found someone to meet up with, but if he’d been alone–
There were so many people here already, it was hard to find faces he recognized, and there was so much Chaos.
Action: Arriving with Madriu. Gossiping. Then trying to stand firm against the wind.
In general, there were several places where Arcalís would have preferred to be right now……but then again, he also would have preferred for the Earth to not be in quite so much peril. Since it was, though, Arcalís would have been nowhere else but here, wandering into the battlefield, hand-in-hand with Madriu. As they tried to find the right place for themselves, Arcalís did his best to ignore the overwhelming, oppressive feeling of so many Chaotic auras. Even the ones that he’d come to recognize as belonging to the Dark Mirror Court’s senshi put him on edge right now, but……
Arcalís took a deep breath, forcing himself to look away from the Negaverse’s General-Sovereigns. Looking at them for too long might draw attention onto himself and Madriu, and that was the absolute last thing that Arcalís wanted.
“Always ready, migadye,” he affirmed, squeezing Madriu’s hand primarily because it made him feel better to do so (but also because he hoped that it similarly reassured Madriu). Over elsewhere in the crowd, Arcalís spotted Grieve, Róka, an Earth Knight he didn’t recognize (but she had the glowing marks that marked a senshi or Knight who had earned transcendence), and some lower-level Negaverse officer, wide-eyed in terror and offering Grieve a box of something. Hard to tell from this distance. With a soft chuckle, Arcalís nudged his shoulder at Madriu’s and looked back over to the motley crew. “D’you think Grieve is going to eat the little Nega? Or maybe just dangle him over a cliff until he cries to a Princess to purify him?”
These things apparently happened not-irregularly in the 21st century, which was good for the people who needed such services from Destiny City’s royal senshi and royal knights, probably.
Not that Arcalís had much time to dwell on it, with the sky tearing open. Desperately grabbing to tighten his hold on Madriu, he only barely had enough presence of mind to grab the little blue gift-bag that popped into existence before him, then to slap on the bracelet and the pin. Whoever “Almadel” was, Arcalís didn’t know, but he didn’t think they could refuse any offer of help right now.

Corrupt Eternal Fafnir Roll: - Action: Observing the assembling team, pondering the offer to stay behind. Encouraging Heliodor to take it.
The corrupt of Blight watched as Faustite's hands moved and his brows drew together in a frown. There was a very large part of him that hesitated at the news the fight would have to be off world... with possibly no way back? The idea of being stuck out there, somewhere, was in some ways worse than the very real possibility of dying. Perhaps it was that he couldn't truly accept that he might die and this warning struck harder for that.
Fafnir had built up too much in his life to be willing to just... let it all go. His position at the head of his mother's, now his, company. His notoriety. His status as an Eternal. His money, cars, and home... Things he had fought and bled for, each in their own way. Would he really be able to leave all of that behind? He could stay. There were enough members of the Negaverse, enough forces on the Order side, that one eternal would make very little difference. What could he do, that say... Albite, couldn't? Or Hestia. Or Borax. Or even Faustite himself, with all of his power. Faustite even said he could stay. His General King had given him permission.
Blue eyes tracked over the others in the group, face an impassive, calculating mask as Hestia and Albite gave their impassioned vows to follow Faustite to the grave. The blond super, Ilmari was his name?, had some more reasonable responses, but struck him as more of a follower than a doer, per say, and Fafnir dismissed him from his mind for the moment.
His gaze settled on long purple hair and golden eyes and his thoughts focused. Reaching out, he took Heliodor's arm at the elbow, giving him a small tug towards him.
"You should stay." Fafnir said in a low voice. "You've just gotten out of a very dangerous situation. You're still recovering. We'll need someone here to monitor the situation, and if the worst happens... pick up the mantle."
More than just as a Negaverse officer... Fafnir had already done the paperwork. If anything ever happened to him... Everything that was his, would be Cassian's. He would never need for anything, with or without Fafnir around. He had come so close already to losing him, and had already felt the pain of it once... a deep, demanding part of him never wanted to feel that again.
"You should stay here." He repeated, a subtle edge to his voice.
Andronicus smiled a little as Ashur replied, nodding. Better her here in spirit, then here for real when they were eaten. The sudden appearance of a bag caught her attention, eyebrows raising up towards her hair line. She read the little note and snorted.
Almadel. That wiry little merchant...
She opened the bag and glanced at Ashur. "Seems safe enough. At this point, I'll take whatever help we can get again a freaking planet eating serpent," she replied, tying the bag to her belt to keep it handy in case she couldn't reach her subspace pocket. "I don't think Almadel would purposefully hamper us in this fight; he's a merchant, yes, but based on the database entries, he's just as terrified of this thing as we are."
She kept her vigil, eyes trained on the sky. So many flares of power rolled across her shoulders, though no one seemed to come up to her. That was okay. If Magion wasn't here, maybe that was better. Bifrost couldn't imagine what it would mean for her to see another world die around her.
Oh Chronos... I am sorry. I am sorry the Surrounding failed. I am sorry so many of your court and your knights have left the cause. I am sorry that we are a relic of the past and forgotten. I will hold the line. I will hold the line until my final breath.
I just hope it is enough.
She tucked the bag that appeared into her pockets after a glance at it. She didn't quite trust Almadel, but Bifrost did not have the luxury right now to refuse the help.
Orangeish Sherbert
If Magion wants to be here with her
Siegfried, Knight of Neptune Roll: 79 Action: Eyeing the bag, watching Cyb princess and coaxing Ariccia into opening the bag
He felt the rush as Cybele took on her Princess form, the light breeze that ruffled his hair as her wings spread slightly. He smiled at her and turned his attention to the sky above. If a single scale could blot out the sky... No, he would stand firm. He would not let the fear in his belly spread through him and freeze him like ice. If he died here, he died here. It wouldn't be the first time he'd died trying to fight something far larger than him.
Sieg plucked the bag out of the air and chuckled at Cyb's comment. "I mean, if this is some sort of elaborate plan to kill us all, that's not very business savvy of a merchant, doncha think? He'd lose his best - and only - customers." He nudged Ariccia, who was starting to shake, eyes wide looking at the bag. The Page jumped and yelped a little, and he smiled at her. Poor girl; couldn't be easy being thrown into this just a few months after being awoken to the war in the first place.
"We have you, Ari. Your Princess and fellow Knights will fight along side you. We'll get through this," he told her and squeezed her shoulder.
The pressure hit her and the clouds parted to show a giant white scale. A giant white scale. A scale so large it blotted out the sky. Just... just how big was this thing? How could they fight it? How could they do any of this? She hadn't even told Cressie that she was hopelessly in love with her yet! She hadn't---
A bag popped into existence in front of her, slowly floating towards the floor. Someone nudged her - Siegfried - and she jumped like a foot in the air. Her voice cracked with her yelp. He was talking to her, and she was kind of aware of it around the blood pounding in her ears. His tone was calm and soothing, though how he could be so calm and soothing when the world was ending she didn't know but--
His slate eyes caught hers as he crouched down in front of her. Warm hands grabbed her shoulders gently, a comforting almost... fatherly gesture. He repeated his words - 'we will get through this' - and got her to breathe. Oh she'd stopped breathing at some point. Whoops. With shaking hands, she grabbed the bag out of the air and held it close.
They will get through this. They will get through this.
The green skinned senshi arrived a little later than the others. She almost didn't show up at all. She almost - almost - simply fled back to her dead world and hid there instead. When the call came out, when she'd started to see the database entries, Terebellum tried to ignore it. She tried to bury into her covers and drown it out with YouTube sound bath videos blasting full volume through the surround sound system. She tried to press her hands to her ears and block it out and keep the fall of her own world from flooding back.
She almost, in the three years she'd been on Earth, returned to her own world to simply wait it out to see if Earth still existed.
Yet when she did go back, and stood in front of her broken throne and felt the stale air on her skin, watching the tallest spire of the tower act like a lightning rod to the purple lightning, she knew she couldn't leave Earth to it's fate.
She'd let one world die, she couldn't let another. Terebellum wouldn't let another die, not when she could do something to help save it.
So here she was, tail swishing beneath her skirts, and trying to not tremble against the pressure as the snake approached. She had a hand on the shoulder of a young senshi, who was trembling too, but trying to put on a brave face. Why the Cauldron ever woke Chibi Senshi, Terebellum would never understand. But she'd keep Drakonia safe, as best as she could.
The green senshi that was sticking close to Drakonia clearly thought the chibi senshi was shaking because she was scared. Drakonia was not scared, thank you very much! She was excited because this was a giant sky snake! While technically leviathans weren't really 'dragons' they were still really cool and she was not going to miss this chance to see a real life sky snake!
Granted, the pressure in the air and the static was weird and seemed a little odd, and she wasn't really down with all the gross Chaos energy on the other side of the hill, but hey! Giant sky snakes probably did really weird things when it tried to say hello!
No, she did not read a single thing about this creature, she just showed up when the sky became a white scale.
He nodded. "I don't know if they were the same species at all, maybe there's more than one planet destroying monster, but in size, it was definitely a "baby" on my planet. Though mine is finally gone now." He was able to do it when he had help from others. Unfortunately, his past life, and his present life, would have never been able to actually destroy it on his own. He often thought that the reason his past life didn't have any help was the fact that they had to keep dealing with damage from the monster and if any SOS calls were sent out, it would be too late by the next attack.
He was feeling both better and more panicked now that Gorner was here, but he didn't have much time to think about it as a small bag appeared in front of him, everyone it seemed. There was something that was compelling him to open it, and he looked inside and saw that there was a bracelet, which he slipped on right away, a pin, and a berry? What were they pokemon?
He didn't get much time to look at the contents as two Senshi pulled themselves over to where Caliban and Gorner were. He didn't think he had met them before. Looking at Gorner and raising an eyebrow he asked "Do you know these two?" That was when she told him, that it was her cousin and another acquaintance of hers. He nodded. "Good to meet you two." He said towards them.
Magnus, Corrupt Mauvian Action: With Niter, catching his own bag, and struggling with how to wear the pin and bracelet
The feline voiced no complaints about being cradled and carted around like a small human child. In fact, it was a rather enjoyable experience that lent him an escape from fear of being stepped on in such a large fathering and being close to his senshi. A calming purr rumbled his body in approval.
"It is important!" Magnus chimed in. "Your games won't be there if we don't win here after all. This is probably one of the most important fights."
As the pressure changed, Magnus' content state turned off like a light switch. He very much did not enjoy whatever it was that was going on. Others around him seemed to be more perturbed than Niter was who just seemed...curious. Like there was nothing at all to be worried about.
Instead, the boy senshi offered Magnus a glowing sphere of energy. Blue eyes focused on that violet orb. "I don't need that." He said raising a paw to Niter's chin, but not quite reaching it.
Attentions were pulled instead to the bags that now filled the sky. Niter caught one easily enoug but on his second attempt he was accosted by harmless glitter. Curious! He rolled himself over in those cracked arms and carefully clawed his way to the boy's shoulder. There he sat back on his haunches to catch his own bag and nearly fell in the process, quickly using the corrupts head as a means to balance himself with his bag held tight in his teeth.
He wasted no time pawing the bag open. "Hm, and what am I to do with these?" The bracelet was going to be too small for a collar and far too large to be worn as a bracelet around his own paws. The pin also would pose and issue.
"Niter, do you think you could maybe tie these onto my necklace somehow? Unless you've got a better idea?" Magnus's lack of human form was annoying in instances like this and he practically huffed in annoyance.
