Joseth first met Esrael in the Rumpus Room while they were freshlings. Promptly after learning his name, Jo gave Esrael the nickname 'Rae'. Because of a mishap in the art room, Joseth has actually become more comfortable with and around Esrael, promising himself that he would be there for his feathered friend always-- that nothing could break their friendship. Joseth thinks that the blue Fallen is beautiful and wishes he could look like him. Esrael informed Joseth that he loved him during the Hunter's Day festival as a Freshling, and is very touched by it but can't really wrap his head around the meaning of the word just yet.

Joseth first met Burvia when he was a Freshling. Their first interaction freaked both of them out, but they quickly put that behind them when Joseth accepted the blue rose Burvia offered him as an apology for screaming when she saw his rotted Litch flesh under his sweater. He wasn't quite sure how to act around her, lest he startle or scare her again, so he acted as calm and careful as possible. He ended up running into her again (quite literally) in the Freshling Playroom and was prepared for another freak out, but was surprised at her pleasant reaction. Jo started to realize that when their gazes locked he felt melty inside, and that he could stare at her all day. Burvia was the prettiest Freshling he had seen in his short life. They talked more and even tried to dance together, even though it didn't really work out. They saw each other again at the Freshling Hunter's party, Joseth presenting Burvia with some gifts and graciously accepting the gifts she gave him.
As a Junior Joseth grew a bit more composed around Burvia. He recognizes that he feels something for her, and that she is beautiful, be he hasn't quite registered that he has a crush on her. He isn't the best at showing his emotions, which is dampened still because he's a Litch, but the blue gr=irl never fails to raise a ruddy brown blush on the lanky boy's cheeks.
As a Senior, Joseth finally confesses his feelings to Burvia, the love of his life (see 'what about the future' prp). The two nightmares plan on imbuing soul stones together and starting a family, as well as his secret plans to propose moments before awakening their stones. Jo can't imagine life without Burvia, and vows to spent the rest of his life with her.
