About
Growing up was an interesting experience from Burvia. Since her youth the now mature, sophisticated geist had always had a passion for fashion. During her younger years, she had problems balancing her emotions -- she was either too mischievous, too manic, or too freaked out. But now, as an adult, Burvia has conquered her emotions and has crafted herself in to someone she can be proud of. Generally nice and open to a lot of different topics and races, Burvia has a large and growing family, two loves she cares for deeply, and a career that guides her entire life. She has worked hard to achieve the things that she has, and has jumped many hurtles to get to this point in her life.
Pattern making and clothing design was an interest that sparked early on in Burvia, and has been carried with her throughout her life. In specific she admires lolita fashions and the design of collars and actually has a secret closet filled with BDSM gear she has hand-made and reinforced to be durable. She's very much a supplier for the community, but everyone keeps it on the DL.
Aside from the obvious, Burvia also rather enjoys her downtime. Watching flicks with the family or reading a book quietly to herself are ways for her to unwind, but this doesn't happen very often. There's always some project or some new client or school project that keeps her from being 100% there with her family all the time.
Burvia was a cache baby, orphaned like many other nightmares due to the war. When Burvia was awakened, at the time, having a family of your own was unheard of, and so Burvia always made it a personal goal to have a large family and wanted to provide effortlessly for them. Burvia had no idea, that during her youth,she would meet two boys that would make that possible for her, who would also nurture her passions for crafting garments, and would also be her pillars that held her up during hard times.
Being passionate, self-driven, determined, and loving are some of her strengths. If there is one thing Burvia knows, it's what she likes. From day one she was always knew she'd end up with Esrael and Joseth, and that she'd go in to fashion and have a large family. She has all of these things and more, and she has her passion to thank her for it. Burvia has always been a go-getter. She's pretty good at keeping herself motivated with personal goals. Once she sets her mind to something, look out! Burvia won't give up on it and will do all she can to achieve her goals.
Burvia's weaknesses are that she's stubborn, domineering and vain. Sometimes being too bent towards an idea or specific outcome can be a hindrance. Burvia gets so caught up in the prize that she sometimes burns others or exhausts them in the process.T his geist knows how to own a room! But sometimes to the detriment of other people. Having worked hard to establish herself in the fashion industry, and to make herself up in to something she feels 'desirable', Burvia can sometimes easily overshadow some of the more meek daydreams and nightmares out there. Like many others, Aten was a cache baby. He grew up an orphan, and when he was old enough was placed at the Academy to learn the proper coping skills to get through life.
Aten is a well composed man. It takes a lot to upset or anger him, and he is perpetually patient. He rarely ever reaches the point of 'the straw that broke the camels back', but on the rare occasion where it does happen, it usually has to do with his family (or Smolder's complete lack of responsibility) and their mistreatment. His seemingly inexhaustible patience grinds to a halt when it comes to those who would impose on or upset the balance he has obtained.
Aten really gives his all when it comes to children. Incredibly nurturing, he is a provider and will do all he can to make sure the needs of his loved ones are met and well tended to. The supportive type, Aten rarely leaves anyone in his inner circle wanting for anything. Aten's family comes before everything. If there was ever an emergency or one of his kids even just needed lift home, the imp would get the carriage ready to pick them up.
To say Aten is 'responsible' is a little bit of an under statement. The imp had post-poned his dream career as a caretaker in order to stay home with the children while Cassie and Smolder attended their respective universities. Aten does everything; cooks; cleans; does the laundry; packs lunches; picks the kids up from daycare and school. Truly a superdad! He still manages to juggle all these tasks now that he is finally attending Community College for his certificate in Childcare.
Aten rarely ever gets in to arguments or conflicts due to the fact he can rationalize just about anything. Even if he doesn't agree with someone's view point, that doesn't mean he has to get upset about a difference of opinion. Able to logic his way in and out of any situation, the imp is well spoken and articulate, and while he is not a man of many words, his thoughts and philosphies are many and vast.
Although Aten does have something to say on just about every topic, Aten often chooses the path less travelled. He will just smile and nod instead, as Aten finds unnecessary confrontation pointless. That does not mean he is a doormat, though, or not prone to his own biased beliefs. If anything, Aten is actually fairly quick to judge. First impressions go a long way with this imp, and once that impression has been made it is hard to go back on. The significant others of Aten's many children need to be prepared for this father figure. His affections are hard won, and he will pass judgement on his children's significant others swiftly, deeming them worthy or unworthy after a single night. He is the kind of dad that kids worry about impressing, and Aten's silence feels more dangerous then a father with a shotgun.
As far as interests go, Aten has a deep love of tea. He knows quite a bit about the different kind of teas out there, and considers himself a bit of a tea hoarder. His shelf is always well stocked with every kind of tea you can think of: he tends to prefer greens and oolongs, but occasionally partakes in a herbal dessert tea.
Outside of family matters, Aten has few friends. He has taken up wine tasting, but usually this is done on his own at local wineries. His children and his family have very much become his life, and Aten is bent towards providing for them and servicing them.

About
Smolder was a cache baby. Sent to the Academy as an orphan, Smolder took on a Little Sibling when he was older, and became the first ever to promote the Big Sibling program (and was the reason for its creation). During his later years at the academy, Smolder met a girl by the name of Cassie and fell head over heels. Later, he graduated and moved on to Asterion where his girlfriend fell in love with his best friend--Aten, the child he had mentored in the Little Sibling program. Not wanting to hurt either member of his 'flock', Smolder welcomed the idea of a triad between the three friends. Oh, and dropped a baby on them as soon as he agreed to be an 'item' with them. Whoops! Did he forget to mention that part? Yah, it didn't go over particularly well, especially considering the child was Hallowed, and due to Smolder's reason of "I just wanted to see what would happen".
The triad had squeezed their life in to a tiny apartment, adding more and more kids until their walls were practically bursting. Typical to Smolder's terrible luck, the apartment he had bought was riddled in asbestos. The fall had found this out when he began to grow very ill, and due to the age of the building he lived in, the medical team that worked with him ran several tests. They determined asbestos was the cause, and that Smolder and some of his family may later in life suffer the consequences. After hearing the long list of potential medical complications he might suffer later in life, and what living in such an environment could do to his kids, Smolder freaked. He sued the building owner and accepted a settlement that would pay for his childrens' and his own medical expenses, as well as set them up for life. The family now lives in a rather lavish estate where his kids virtually want for nothing.
Smolder always means well. At times he can say the wrong thing, and has a knack for getting in to unsavory situations, but he always stays (mostly) positive. Smolder seems rather dense on the outside, but get him in to the right head space or on an interesting topic and his more philosophical side comes out. While he doesn't show his deeper, more thoughtful side to most, Smolder has a sort of 'awkward' charm to him.
It's rather hard to pin this fallen's wings down. Naturally bright and cheery, even when the man is exhausted he still manages a smile, despite any complaints he might place. Smolder can get rather whiney, and is the king of 'man sick'. He likes being doted on and hates taking on any responsibilities for himself. He would much rather sit on the couch eating from a bag of Doritos then take part in the more 'adult' aspects of parenthood. After much nagging from Aten, and a few threats that if Smolder didn't start picking his socks up (metophorically) that Aten would walk, Smolder started -- grudgingly -- to take on more chores around the house. Since moving in to their new home, Smolder has gone back to being particularily lazy as they now have a cleaning staff that can take care of the chores for him. Aten still insists that Smolder should be doing more, but Smolder just shrugs him off.
Young spirited, this could easily be seen as a negative and positive trait. While Smolder's child-like heart keeps him full of life and helps to lighten things up, he can also get himself in to trouble for not being 'adult enough', especially in his relationships. Because of that youthful outlook on people and live, Smolder assumes the best of everyone at all times. He'll even go as far as to over-justify another person's faults and try and explain why they did something they shouldn't have. He tends to paint things with a brighter stroke than most, and believes there's an ounce of good intention or reasoning behind every action, no matter how dumb or moronic it is. It makes him hard to be a disciplinary. On the flip side, there is no lack of energy in Smolder's heart, and he can keep up with the best of them. The only one known to tire this fallen out is his son, Rhys.
Smolder has an appetite for all pleasures in life. He is not easily satisfied and this often leads to excess in things. Sex and food are his biggest vices. It's a wonder he's not severely overweight.
One of Smolder's biggest downfalls that the fallen usually doesn't take other's thoughts or feelings in to consideration. Paired with his optimistic outlook, he has the habit of assuming most people will just accept or be okay with his choices, and that it'll all be sunshines and rainbows. For example: imbuing a stone and going "SURPRISE!" to his girlfriend who was still in the academy at the time. This event did lead to Rhys entering their lives, which did help Smolder mature a bit, but only a little.
Worst of all, Smolder is incredibly accident prone. He constantly leads a life of a series of unfortunate events. He is the kind of guy to trip over his own feet in a china shop and break every last piece of expensive tableware by trying to catch himself from falling. Enough said.
Most of Smolder's time outside of uni is spent playing with his kids. He misses the days where it was just Rhys sometimes, as he would spend hours with his first born. When the kids are asleep, or the eldest children still living with them are otherwise occupied, Smolder is usually sharing some alone time with Cassie, or playing whatever video game he can get his hands on. He's even been known to play the little kid games kicking around the house. They manage to hold his attention, and Smolder is actually quite good at them! It brings him joy knowing he can beat his kids' high scores on "match the colour to the word" and other various teaching games.
At the end of the day, Smolder is a good guy. He's just a bit of a doof.

Castus

About
Castus is not an easy person to get to know. He doesn't care for people invading his personal and emotional space, and he will high-tail it right out of a relationship if he thinks things are getting too serious (though he sometimes comes back if he likes you enough). A bit of a delinquent, Castus likes to do what he wants, when he wants, and even tends to keep his own stash of cheap alcohol on him in a flask, said to be owned by his parents before the 50 year war. Castus has many layers, and trying to peel through them to get to his core is about as unpleasant as chopping an onion.
His life has been tumultuous at best, and his experience living at the Academy dorms was terrible. He felt caged, always clawing to get out. The rules were too rigid, and the forced counseling was annoying at best. Castus just wanted to live, to be his own man and to chase after his dreams without the restraints of the Academy as an institution. As soon as Castus was old enough, the fallen dropped out of the Academy, sure of himself and his natural talents as a racer. He struck out on his own path, but learned all too quickly that the world was even more unkind then his years spent at the Academy.
Without a completed education, minor misdemeanours, terrible grades for the years he did complete, and no volunteer experience or a resume to speak of, Castus quickly found himself on the streets where he has been living and scavenging for some time now, without a flock to call his own.
Deep feeling and passionate, Castus is a boy of extremes -- he feels everything all at once, in sudden and rather abrupt waves, and then suddenly the complete opposite. It makes for an interesting dynamic that keeps people on their toes with him. Often called 'spiky', Castus calls it expressing what he means when he feels it. On the flip side of being deep feeling, Castus' wealth of emotion come rather intensely to him. It can cause him to have rather volatile relationships where nobody is ever really sure where they stand with him, even if he thinks he's being obvious and clear.
Back when he lived at the Academy, Castus would have considered himself 'family oriented'. Without a family to call his own, his few Academy friends were who he considered his flock, and while at times he might be short or snap at them, he did genuinely want the best for them, and would have done anything for them when it really got down to the serious stuff. Since leaving the Academy, Castus has become rather estranged from his old friends and no longer has a foundation to fall back on.
Fiercely driven, Castus knows what he wants for himself, and won't let anything stand in the way of that. This persistance and drive has lead Castus down a path to being a loner. Castus doesn't see this as a negative thing, but most people do. Castus just prefers his privacy, and would rather keep to himself and do his own thing. Any who remember Castus will tell you to avoid prying in to Castus' affairs. There are some doors better left closed, and Castus would rather you not pick the lock.
Castus enjoys flying and speed more than anything. He can often be found trying to out-fly some of the stronger winged races (such as the chimera), and attempting to best fellow fallen with endurance races and sprints.
Often times Castus can be found daydreaming about far off lands, sipping from his flask on a dirty street corner or alley way. He is usually up late in to the night, sitting under street lamps as he watches the starry sky, dreaming of flying away to a better life.
Likais was an orphan raised from the cash. During his Senior years he met Sascha whom he fell in love with. The two rushed their relationship and moved far too quickly, and pretty soon Likais found himself with more children than he could count and was very unhappy with his life. Going on frequent binge drinking sessions and generally wrecking his body, Likais finally hit rock bottom and decided enough was enough and left his boyfriend and kids to persue his own dreams and aspirations. Many years have passed since then, and Likais is back to his usual ways. He is currently living with his boyfriend Aerilon, with whom he has had a few kids with.
Likais is a giant flirt. He loves his boys like nobody's business and at times is so boy crazy he can forget that women even exist. It isn't that he dislikes them, he often is just too absorbed admiring the masculine presentation and form to really pay much mind to girls. Though he does flirt frequently and often, he doesn't often mean much by it. Likais is the type to spend the night and leave before you ever wake up. Though he does leave his number behind just incase anybody wants to give him a call later for some more action or the occasional fling.
Young spirited, Likais is trying to break down the stigmas of Litch being a clumsy race and is dedicated to learning all forms of dance to restore a sense of grace to his people. He believes if you work hard enough to achieve something, anything is possible.
Fairly progressive, Likais believes it's time to get with the program. A lot of the ideals and expectations that are placed on the races are kind of moot in Likais' eyes. A lot has changed since the 50 Year War, and with all the struggling their races have a had to endure, it's simply time to lay down weapons, and mend old wounds by working together to form a more desirable world. He's constantly asking the tough questions and challenges the status-quo.
Particularily amorous, Likais has a lot of physical affection to offer to any boy willing to take him on. He rarely denies any man vying for his affections, and tires most of his lovers out before he's fully satisfied. To find someone who can fill Likais' needs and desires seems impossible, but it doesn't stop Likais from sampling the available roster at the local gays clubs.
A trend starter, Likais has an eye for fashion and art, and has been known in the past to start trends he didn't even realize people would be in to. Of course, it's fairly hard to prove such claims, but Likais has always been a bit of a social media whore and loves the attention it provides. He has pretty strong evidence in his favour when it comes to claiming to "be the first".
While Likais is a bit selfish, once he is bent to a desire of his, it's very hard to deter him. Consent, however, is very important. He loves the chase, but if he can tell that someone really isn't in to him, he'll back off.
The downside to juggling so many people in such a vast social circle is that Likais can be quite flaky. Often triple booking himself, Likais often no-shows to dates and events, often sending apologetic texts with sexy pictures to make up for it.
Likais can't do monogamous relationships. They suck out his life force and leave him feeling drained and hating his entire existence. He experienced that with Sasha, and can't go back now. He learned the hard way that his entire life falls apart if he is forced to endure the whims of a single partner with little to no spontenaiety.
Despite his previous substance abuse, dancing, clubbing, drinking are Likais' favourite past times (besides bedding new people). Just about anything that allows for Likais to let loose and look good while doing it is right up his alley. Spa nights, boy browsing, intercourse, you name it. If it's pleasurable or fun, Likais is down for a good time.
