Chervil didn't even have enough time to see if he had succeeded in throwing the general off of the two nightmares when back came the small one again for another bite. He let out an angry cry and shook Coco off. "Get away you little hellion!" He knew that the bites and scratches were starting to add up, but he felt he could go on for as long as he needed to.
He nodded once at Eirian and turned back to the fight at hand, not having time to watch them go. He had to concentrate and try not to get any more banged up!

Amulet Attack!Amulet Element: Electricity HP: 29/60 Damage Caused: 2  Aedus noticed Astra crawling around on the ground calling for help or well a leg up, which was really dark humor since it seemed that they had lost one of their legs. Aedus saw his old favorite foe that he had fought with for a long time now and shot a bolt of electricity flying at Phobos. "Cause I know you just love being electrocuted!!" Aedus yelled out and then offered Astra an arm to lean on Eirian's healing had helped a little.

Astra nodded thankfully at the elf offering her a hand up, leaning against him as he steadied her, and helped her into a standing position.
"Man, where were you when the Naiad was chewing on me?" the hybrid joked quietly. "Woulda been twice as effective with your help. At least now I've got someone else to help make up for the lack of magical advantage...." Battle magic. She really needed to learn it, some day.
She let out another arcing crackle at Phobos, before turning back to the young man currently supporting her.
"Sorry if that came out harsh. I think I was trying to make a joke," she said quietly. "D'n't mean it mean, at least."

Also slashed and cut open by the rest of these nut jobs." Aedus said plainly. Aedus shook his head "No don't apologize this whole thing is crazy, we can't apologize if we are going to survive." He lifted his amulet to aim at Phobos again with his free arm that wasn't helping to hold Astra up.

Astra snorted at her new acquaintance's line of thought. He rather had it backwards, her father would argue.
But her father wasn't here to argue, so she'd butcher his theology instead. "There's always time for p'llll... polie retractions. My dad's in politics– he taught me't when things are like this, that we can't afford to judge, but we can apologize." She let her head fall against his shoulder.
With someone holding her up, she could just... stare and keep an eye out for danger. She didn't have to continue being responsive, she could just... shut down, and succumb. Every passing heartbeat, the will to continue unless outwardly prompted dwindled, and eventually, she just stopped responding to Aedus other than with small hums. Everything narrowed down to those occasional, heartstopping glimpses of those cold, glowing crimson eyes....

Amulet Attack!Amulet Element: Electricity HP: 29/60 Damage Caused: 2 Aedus kept a hold of Astra and sighed as they apologized once again and then pretty much passed out with him holding them up. Aedus shook his head and kept holding them even though he was tired and hurt he faced Phobos again and aimed his amulet at the general. This had to end at some point others were depending on him to keep fighting, which became clear when Eirian had healed him, he didn't get to pass out and take a break Aedus had to keep fighting no matter what happened.
