How many more had to suffer because of these creatures? Anabelle? Coco? Vanna? Eilwen? Kingston hated to see people he knew, people he cared about turn into these... things. Even those he didn't know, that fey who'd been attacked, that hybrid over there... No one deserved to be like this! Kingston launched another attack, aiming to claw at Muffy's stomach.

Aedus leaned agaist the wall that he had landed agaist after the queen had attacked him. He watched the others fight Muffy for all they were worth. Aedus knew that Niamh wasn't in her right mind but hearing her say that he had deserved to be hurt and beaten killed a part of Aedus he wasn't sure he would be able to look Niamh in the eye after this was all over if she ever went back to normal.

Eirian kept up their mantra of apologies as they waited for the amulet to recharge. They didn't know what else to say and couldn't help but feel that Aedus' current condition was their fault. If they had just stayed more on top of the elf... Eirian knew that Aedus seemed to be the favorite punching bag.

Eirian wiped tears from their eyes every once in a while, trying to keep their vision clear. The ones leaking from their middle eye was particularly annoying as the sensation of it dripping down tickled their nose. They took a moment to glance over to the fighting, glad to see the others had picked themselves up.

The fey hybrid felt their spirits drop as they saw the new wounds everyone was sporting. Eirian was doing such a fail job as a healer. They just weren't enough. This amulet wasn't enough. Eirian suddenly rose their arm as if they were going to chuck the amulet as far away as possible, fed up with its mediocre job.

The amulet indicated it was ready for another round and Eirian lowered their fist. This was all they had, good or bad. They had no right to throw it away when so many people still needed its power. Eirian sighed and cast the pink glow on Aedus. At least they finally stopped muttering about how sorry they were. Apologies weren't helping anyone.

Kingston should have known better then to get so close and stay so close. He gave a sharp yelp of pain as Muffy slashed at him. He was sure part of his left ear was missing now. In retaliation, he snapped, lunging and attempted to bite her hand.

Muffy was slowing down, surely. She panted, feeling defeated for a second time that night, lashing out at anything that would catch on her claws. She had tried so very hard not to fail her Queen once again... but she also knew that once this was all over, once they'd added more to their ranks, she'd still be a favorite. Muffy was always so good. Or at least, she tried to be.

Coco was so hungry she needed to eat, she had to eat something. She jumped at Kingston not realizing it was him and attempted to bite him as hard as her little teeth could. Her infected eyes blazing with madness. She had lost everything that was sweet and cute in her moment of starvation. She didn't have room left for wishes or dreams as she was biting someone she had considered a dear friend.
