Mielle stuck her tongue out causing the older hybrid to roll his eyes. Araceae had done the kid run last year since Alrai had been caught in bad finals so he had kind of volunteered both himself and Morginn this year. Luckily the Lunar Fey had said yes and Alrai totally didn’t have to admit to volunteering said fey.
He totally did it because it was nice to have help with the small mob they had… right? Okay so he liked talking with Morginn, it was rather nice and Alrai was trying to figure out how he felt, especially before he sacked his younger brother on the fey. Yeah, no matter what he had said to Morginn a few days ago he was making sure what his feelings were before he allowed his younger brother to come to the house again.
“Ah… maybe over to that stand. The crystal balls kind of amuse me. Plus I totally roped Arinas into helping looking after said kids as well” Alrai replied conspiratorially.
Oh he was late. He was soo late. Everything had just been conspiring against him to make sure he didn’t get to the school grounds and thus the festival. He had promised to meet up with Rowan, but such a huge crowd was a disaster so he had to find some way to disguise most of his traits. Then his sunglasses had broken and he had tried to hunt down Seraph but Seraph had already left… which meant that he then had to go and find his dad. Luckily he was able to tackle Meris before his father ran out to go do a Valentine ’s Day concert and bumed a pair of sunglasses off his dad and a sort of bandanna thing from his mom. They were a bit bit on his face and with the bandanna he looked more like a gypsy but no one would recognize him and ruin his outing. “Hi Rowan. Sorry I’m late. My house tried to keep me inside its clutches” Giotto stated when he finally maneuvered through the crowd to where his friend was. His hands where resting on his upper thighs as he caught his breath. He had practically run most of the way here after jumping the portal. “Ah… sorry too about the get up, but I figured it was this or get mobbed later on”
Mielle was so excited. It was the festival, she had a friend this year to hang out with . Plus the best part. SHE WASN’T SICK!!! Araceae had been one unhappy purple mommy when she found out how sick Mielle had been that one day with Huginn. So the poor daydream hybrid had been stuck in her room and recuperating for like ever. Fiore and the others had even brought home her homework and assignments from school. It was the worse. She wanted the sunlight. Her poor leaves wanted the sunlight.
Then of course it had rained… and rained and.. yeah Mielle wanted to be up and doing things now. So she was a bit exuberant in going to meet her friend and stumbled over the pavement getting a smart alec comment from Uncle Alrai. She stuck her tongue out at him before continuing the journey to Vincent.
Along the way she even got a friendly passenger in the form of a vespercat, that winded its way through her ankles almost causing her to trip again. Luckily Uncle Alrai was looking the other way this time. Oh there was Vincent.“Hiii, sorry I’m late”

Clove was sitting down his tail curled around him, and reading a book, he was not expecting anyone to come over at all, and was enjoying his reading time. Clove did not realize what day it was at all, hearing the know on the door, he went to say come in when there she was Willow. "Hi willow" Clove blinked at her, and looked over her to see her holding a plant, when he heard her remark about taking care of a plant he looked at her with big eyes. "Really, please, i would love to take care of a plant with you" Clove got a big goofy grin on his face, and gently took the plant in his hand. Clove stoped for a moment, "wait Willow where did you get this?" Cloved blinked at her while he held the plant, and wondered if she planted it herself, or if she got it from somewhere.
Feeling a bit more at ease about leaving their children's' stones with Malachi's mother, Hailey sighed and then smiled happily. This was going to be a great jubilee and she was ready to have fun!
Malachi was relieved to see that Hailey was more relaxed and happier now. Of course, his attentions turned towards a small critter that he couldn't seem to resist. "Hail... I'll be right back!" he said as he ran off to snitch one of the chocolate salamanders up!
Kitty giggled as Malachi ran off to get a new pet. She saw a game she wanted to try and pointed towards it. "Can we go play it, Hailey?
Popple couldn't help but laugh at her sister's remark about other peoples' kids... Of course, she had to agree to a degree. "At least we aren't responsible for the ones that are here!" she said with a laugh in return.
Tullio couldn't help laughing as well, especially when Popple said what she did. "You guys are both so very right." he remarked as he scooped up the revenant he hadn't realized that had attached to him until now.
As the group stopped and noticed the revs that had attached to them, Bambi laughed. "Looks like we got ourselves a new kind of monkey attached to our legs instead of the ones from at home."
The trio saw a table with weird little rocks on it and decided they were going to wander on over to it.
Piero reached his little finger out, ready to poke one of the googly eyed things when he was told not to poke their eyes. "Why not?"
"Would you like it if someone poked you in the eye?" the person replied. "These are living rocks. I'm sure they wouldn't like being poked in the eye like that."
The trio ooooooooh'd together, reaching out and grabbing one up each of different colors. They were all very amused and excited by the living rocks!
As Hideki's hand was taken once again by Apollyon, a ring was slipped on his finger. "What's this for?" he asked curiously. Apollyon normally didn't do gifts or anything like that, so he was quite confused. Not that he was complaining -- this time -- as he admired the colors.
"It's to get you distracted from your thoughts, you goof." Apollyon answered, smirking as Hideki's cheeks had puffed up and blushed at the same time. "You may be annoying sometimes, but you're still my annoying so I put a ring on it." and he laughed. A rare occurrence.
As Purrsia wandered he found several games to play, but he wasn't very good at them. Poo.
When Sharkura wasn't rejected for clinging to Missy, she smiled a little bit. It really was a big help for her to have someone to hold to while her nerves got a chance to calm down.
Missy sighed again when the other kid didn't let go of her arm after she had been nice enough to pat pat her. Wasn't that something that should work in this situation? Oh well. "Wanna go play a game or something?" she asked, trying to at least be nice.
Doki was instantly drawn to a little weirdly cute slime that was squishing about the grounds. "You won't count against my cat limit!" she said with a laugh as she scooped it up. Of course, the feel was awkward and gooey.
Morginn smiled broadly. "Sounds like a good first stop," he said, then began to slowly wind his way through the crowd towards the table.
"We better enjoy this while we can though. One day Arinas is gonna find him someone special, and we won't be able to use him as a baby-sitter as often!" It would actually delight Morginn to no end, since he was a bit of a sucker for romance and Arinas could be shy around people sometimes.
Fiore and Florence were getting old enough to the point where they didn't need as much looking after, but he wasn't sure they were quite ready to be left in charge without adults around.
They reached the stand and Morginn eyed the various crystals. "Oooh, are these like for divination," he asked, picking one up and turning it about to look at it. The crystal glowed a pretty pink, and there seemed to be a heart shining inside it. "They're quite pretty!"
Rowan noticed a really strange figure approaching them. Giotto? They looked to be about the right size and shape. Rowan didn't quite understand the whole disguise thing, but then they weren't really the type to idolize someone to the point of mobbing them or their relations if they happened to spot them in public. Seriously, whatever happened to a polite introduction and simple compliment? Ah well. Rowan had the feeling the disguises were for more than hiding Giotto's identity, but it wasn't something they knew how to bring up so they just let their suspicions stay in their mind.
Sure enough, the person came right up to the bench, and it was definitely Giotto. "Ah, no, it's fine," Rowan said, noting how his friend was breathing heavy. How long had they been running? No one was chasing him, right? Rowan took a moment to peek over Giotto back, but didn't see anything. That was a relief.
"I wasn't waiting too long, and it's kind of madness over there anyway," they said, eyeballing the crowds again. Socialize, they reminded themselves. This was about socializing more. They hopped off the bench and noticed something weird on the ground. Was that a rock? They bent over and picked it up. Weird-looking thing...
They shrugged and turned their attention back to Giotto. "Anything you wanna look at first, or do you want to wander and see what all there is out?"
Vincent grinned broadly as soon as he saw Mielle approaching. Though they'd made the plans a while back and there hadn't been word of canceling them, he'd heard she was sick and wondered if she would be able to make it at all. Well, heard was a slight exaggeration. He'd noticed she seemed to have gone missing from the Academy and had tracked down her brother (he thought the junior was her brother, anyway) to find out what was up.
"Don't worry about it, I don't mind! Just glad to see you're feeling better. Here," he said, reaching out and taking her hand, then placing a pretty trinket in her palm. "I ducked inside for a bit to see if there was a pet rock table somewhere, and I spotted these and thought of you."
Tancred wandered into the festival, looking about he picked a pick the lollipop game, he picked one up and got a small prize of a little house plant. It was cute and he liked the little hearts on the pot it was in. Tancred nodded and took the plant, softly thanking the imp running the booth. Then he left to go see what else was going on during the festival. He stopped and sat down at a table with his little plant, watching the others walking about the party. He wondered what was going on in each of their minds. It was always curious to wonder.
Saki's entrance into the festival was rather lackluster, he didn't spot any games he wanted to play right now. He needed something to do, something more than the way his life was going right now. He had applied to worked at the academy but he hadn't heard back about that, so he would have to find another job soon. Unless he wanted to end up working for his little brother which wasn't high on Saki's to do list for his life. He was also kinda lonely he really hadn't gotten out to be social since he had moved to the area and he needed to fix that.
Father and daughter set off to the Jubilee, little silver claws wrapped tight around larger clay fingers. They were dressed in matching sweaters, June's torso wrapped in white with a red heart in the center, her father's sweater the opposite. Shortly before arriving, Joseth hoisted his daughter up onto his shoulders, her pace having slowed considerably from the walk there, little legs dangling on his chest. They wove through the booths, stopping briefly at a simple 'spin the wheel' booth. The tall Litch took a knee so the little girl on his shoulders could reach the colored wheel and give it a spin. After she had collected her prize, Joseth gave her legs a little squeeze. "Think you could give the wheel a spin for me, June-bug?" He asked, and a moment later the wheel spun again and he stood again to move to the next booth.

Her planned outfit ended up changing half a dozen times before the date arrived, but arrived stunning nonetheless in a little lace burgundy dress, a garnet choker adorning her neck that glimmered and caught the light. She had to take care to mind her wings in the more crowded alleys between the stalls, pressing them against her back and sides to slide through. A Chimera boy sporting his Ordinem Aurum letters offered her a chocolate from his heart box, which was accepted with a flutter of eyelashes and a mysterious smile. She popped the candy in her mouth before continuing to peruse the aisles, trying her hand at a bean bag toss game, missing by a fraction. She turned to flit to the next booth, her tail swaying behind her.

Freddy roamed through the crowds of Hunter's Jubilee, taking in all the sights and sounds and bouncing a little with energy. He loved festivals since they were always a great place to have fun or meet new people. He had a particular fondness for Hunter's Jubilee, cause that was when he'd met Nef!
He wondered if he'd see her here. Classes had been keeping them busy lately so he didn't know what she was up to. He hoped she was doing alright!
As he wandered Freddy came across a stand giving away pet plants. Pet plants! He laughed, but wandered over to get a closer look anyway. In the end he wandered away with a new "pet" tucked under his arm.

Laurel looked around everything with interest. It was a lovely day for festivities, and if the weather still had a bit of a n** to it well there was tons going on inside to see. Her fur kept her plenty toasty, though she was on the lookout for potential cold carriers since the season was still in full swing and she'd rather not get sick if she could help it.
She was trying to stay to the edge of things, hoping to spot or be spotted by Flax so they could enjoy the festivities together. She'd come across a really strange rock and was currently holding it in her palm. It was a nice rock, really pretty looking, though the eyes were a bit strange. Was it enchanted?

Kansuke looked around with excitement and interest. This was his first time attending such a festival, and there was just so much to see! It was worth taking a break from his art projects, and helped to fuel ideas for something new!
A sudden gurgling sound startled him, then he flushed with chagrin. He'd been so busy rushing to finish a project before he got here that he'd forgotten to eat. Again. He spotted a table handing out boxes of candy and walked over to pick on up. It wasn't anything close to healthy but he'd get something better later. Or so he told himself, at least.
Alyssum wandered through the festivities. She wasn't as much of a shadow as she had been during her first festival while still a freshling, though she was still very quiet and slipped through the crowds with little notice. There hadn't been anyone she felt like asking along, though she was hoping to maybe run into some friends and spend a little time with them.
Since she was keeping an eye out she was quick to spot a salamander hanging out near one of the food tables. Alyssum moved over, grabbing a piece of fruit as she went, then knelt down and showed it to the salamander. It seemed startled at first, but upon spying the fruit it quickly got over it's startlement and moved forward to get the treat. Alyssum was able to coax it up onto her hand where it happily munched its prize. Looked like she had a new pet!
Iris was starting to love this Holiday. It was a great time to spread the love around. He had two siblings that he loved dearly, so this was a chance for him to find some good gifts for them. Something to really show how much he cared about them both. Now, what exactly should he get for them? Chocolates, lockets, plants; there were so many options! As he was looking at a table of rings he felt something rub up against his leg. He looked down and spotted a cute Vespercat. Their coat was lovely! And all that hair, he'd have a chance to try out some styles on him!
"You're such a cutie! How about you come home with me? I'll keep your hair looking fabulous!" This was going to be so much fun!
Hiro was enjoying the festival with her best buddy Diana. The two of them had been inseparable since they met at a Concert. It was the perfect chance for them to pal around and have a good time together. It had been a little while since they saw each other, so the chance to reconnect was exciting.
"How have classes been this semester?" She asked her friend as they looked over a table of Jubilee jewelry. There was a cute bracelet decorated with little hearts. Quite adorable, she slipped it on and was happy with the look of it.
Diana was spending the day with Hiroko. The end of semester exams had taken their tole on the both of them and they had spent their winter break apart. Hiro had to go home and see her family and Diana had ended up doing the same. So they both had some catching up to do and where better to do that than at the Hunter's Jublilee festival?
"The usual grind. This semester doesn't look too hard. How does yours look?" They had moved past the jewelry now and came across a table full of potted plants. She could use something to take care of in her apartment. It would make a cute, refreshing addition to her desk.
Brailyn was walking around the Jubilee looking for a good gift for her twin brother. Bonus if she could find some good gifts for her family in Above as well. For now though, she was on a mission. She definitely wanted to give him something that would remind him of her. She came across a table full of lockets near a photo booth and thought it would be a cute idea to put a picture of herself in the locket. That way even if they were apart, he wouldn't forget about her! That would be pretty hard considering they were twins, but it was the thought that counted!
Calista was flying solo for the Jubilee event. She didn't really have any friend yet, but she was pretty quiet anyway and usually kept herself entertained. Maybe she could find some friends today though? It would be nice to have someone else to eat lunch with and talk about class projects with.
As she was walking around she was startled when a chocobee landed on her shoulder. It was a friendly little guy though and she grew attached after giving it a couple pats and watching it buzz it's wings happily.
This was Errai's first event on the school grounds, in fact, they were still rather new to the Academy but their big brother and sister already went here. Errai's eyes flicked around, trying to figure out where to go first when they spotted a stand full of candy.
