Sesha was feeling... very foolish suddenly. He looked down, which made the rammykin on his head slide forward. It righted itself and floated by his shoulders but the helmet Sesha wore slipped over all 6 eyes. He pulled away from Arch and tried to right the helmet, but ran into someone. What a strange... sweet smell... He pushed the helmet off his face. "Archimedes?" He didn't see the imp anymore.
As she danced, Nora was starting to feel thirsty. Almost as if on cue, the strange kid in the odd suit handed her a brown potion. Just how many of these things did he have? ... She wasn't feeling adventurous though.

Nicolae: 1 rammykin
He smirked at Arthur. "At least mine is useful. I can always send my rammykins up to dust the corners of the room. Though I would have to give them a bath after, because I do not want a cobweb covered familiar..." He thought about this a moment. "But yours are very cute." He laughed. Nicolae really did like familiars, even if he was particular about which ones he bonded with. Rammykin were his weakness though. As if on cue, a purple rammykin bumped into Nicolae, gently bounced off and floated into the blue rammykin near him. "... ... I may be a rammykin magnet. I'm not sorry." He stated proudly to his roommate.
Gallius did like parties, that was for sure. He slithered into the dance hall, and was instantly tangled in the long tendrils of an aether jellyfish. He gave an undignified squeak as he dislodged the thing from his hair. ... He knew one could often find familiars hanging around large gatherings, but this was a little silly.
Naosu It was hard for Naosu to contain her excitement as she entered the masqurade. Her mask was store-bought and her dress wasn't nearly as frilly as he might have preferred, but she was happy with what she had on anyway. She had painstakingly given herself several small braids that she'd then tied back with a larger braid in the back and made the effort to makeup away the freckles not covered by her clothes. It was a silly gesture since it was unlikely anyone she knew was there and also that they wouldn't know her in spite of her efforts, but even a pretend disguise was still thrilling. The only thing that ruined her mood, and then only briefly, was when a bat flew down and startled her. The squeak she emitted seemed to startle the familiar as well, and it landed on the floor. Naosu hastily scooped it up before something happened to it.
"It's okay, little loff." She said softly to the bat. "You only startled Naosu." Ah, right. She was going to have to break her habit of third person speech for the night, or she'd definitely give herself away immediately. She put the bat on her shoulder and gave it a little scritch to encourage it to see her as a friend.
Aurora With an elaborate mask that hid her eyes and drooped down her cheeks, coupled with a dress of a fabric that shimmered with colors as she moved, Aurora was feeling mightily satisfied with herself. It had taken nearly a year of work just for this one night, but it was completely worth it. If she was lucky, she could even sell the dress afterward and then get to work on a new one for the next year.
She spotted a junior at a booth and headed over to them. "Oh well now." She commented, looking at the plushies. "You say you made these yourself, and they light up? You're quite the crafty one!" She picked one up and squeezed their belly, laughing in delight when it lit up just as the junior said they would. "You could make money off of these!" She pulled out a card from a small bag hooked to the sparkling belt she wore, twinkling like stars in the light and handed it to the junior with an exaggerated wink. "Hang on to that, and if you ever feel like a collaboration, or just need a recommendation, I've got your back." The card had a time spell on it, and while it appeared blank at first, the next day her information would appear on it. It was good to have connections. She hoped the junior hung onto it, and she took one of the plushies as a reminder to try to find the saavy junior another day, and also an endorsement. She loved this kind of thing.
A junior sits at a booth near the quintet, beaming proudly under their mask. These plushies light up when you squeeze their belly! The junior designed them specifically to give out at this Ball.
Gemini Gemini wasn't the snazziest by any means, but they'd been able to find a passably good mask in a thrift shop and with sparkly purple pants and a purple jacket over a green shirt, they at least made an impression. 'Bad fashion sense' admittedly wasn't the best impression to make, but they were there to have fun, not be fro fro.
But then they saw it, someone wearing a mask too awesome to ignore. They headed straight for them. "Hey." They said. "I couldn't help but notice your awesome mask. It really looks great! I'm envious." They grinned.
You see a stranger with the coolest mask. Find someone who is not currently interacting with someone else and give them a compliment!

Rowena Rowena didnt really dress up she just put a mask on and headed out to the ball. She didnt really want to impress anyone so she didnt really try with her outfit. When she arrived to the ball she seen a pile of pumpkin that other where taking pictures with. She love pumpkin and so she decided to take a picture. She sat down and something movie next to her. She looked over and there was a weird colored pumpkin. She picked it up and brought it to eye level. All of a sudden two red eye popped open with a smile. Rowena jump but didn’t scream “ no, how did you get here little one.?” The pumpkin started to make a cute noise. Would you like to come with me. The little pumpkin wrapped is vine around Rowena and cuddled her. “ i guess that is a yes” Rowena hugged the pumpkin back and then she heya snap. The camera man took a photo of them hugging and handed it to them. Rowena smiled at the lovely picture. Points: 17+
"They'd better not muss your tux. That'd be an awful dry cleaning bill," Kelvir quipped as he tried to suppress the terrible realization that these familiars had to relieve themselves somewhere. He hoped up and down that there were easy ways for these fellows to get out and do their thing. In any case, the lady was talking to him. "Relax. Even if you think you're going to be a klutz, I'll be able to catch you. And I assure you that I won't step on your feet, either."
Kelvir arched an eyebrow when the mysterious junior foisted a potion bottle on Carmen. "Must be some kind of party favor. It's either delicious or dangerous." At that point, he noticed something out of place on the refreshment table. A peculiar green and orange plushie was perched next to a set of candy apples. Grinning, he picked up the Sealpup plushie and offered it to Carmen. "Speaking of party favors, I think this one was looking for you too!"
Suhail continued milling about. Nice party, interesting people. No, he's not yawning...
Well, he lost his opportunity to feel drowsy when a masked junior in a bizarre yellow tux foisted a swirly orange and white potion on him. Just walked up, shoved it in his hand, poofed like nothing ever happened. What kind of wizardry was that? Suhail stared at the bottle, wondering what was in it. Creamsicle? Orange juice? An illicit screwdriver? Why was it warm then? So weird. He took another look around for the kid (with a suit like that, they should be easy to find), but couldn't find them. Where did they go?!
After the incident with the Rammykin, Dax kind of kept to himself, enjoying the music (and secretly, the companionship of his new familiars). Quiri (his tail) seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere too, though Dax didn't appreciate that folks were staring at the mouth tendrils. Yeah, yeah, a Geist had imbued with a Shade somewhere along the line, what of it?!
Out of the corner of his eye, there was a skyfish plushie perched on the table next to him. He touched it to investigate. It was soft, but his Shade fluff was softer. Not even a comparison. Depending on who you asked, he was probably just as plush as this plushie. Take that, plushie!
Just as she was asking her sibling about the potion and the junior running around handing them out, a similar bottle was shoved into her hands. A curious look crossed her face as the yellow clad stranger grinned at her before darting away again. She shared a look with her sibling before they both laughed heartily and resumed their chit chat.

A small snort escaped their lips as their sister sat her bottle on the table. So far they'd seen an orange and a rainbow potion. How many more did that junior have? Where were they hiding all of them? While contemplating that thought, they were handed a monochromatic sealpup plush by a kindly looking volunteer who kept on their way when Syblia had accepted it with a smile.

You can ignore this since it took me forever to fill in. Stressful events in rl kept me from doing it sooner.
After dealing with the cockatriel, Cearnaigh had spotted a couple dancing. Or at least they looked as if they we're going to dance. They looked good together. On a spur of the moment whim, he walked up to them and waited a moment while they spoke to one another. “Sorry for breaking it up, but you too look pretty good together.” He flashed them a smile as the female commented on his facial hair. With a wink he thanked her and left them to it, not wanting to endanger the possible budding relationship between them.
“Hmm, well hopefully it is delicious instead of dangerous,” Carmen replied, setting it carefully on the table to be picked up later. She wasn’t going to dance with it in her hand. She paused and smiled sweetly at Kelvir taking the sealpup plushie. “Is that so? Is that right, did you want to come with me?” She addressed the sealpup plushie and gave it a squeeze.
“Well,” She said, setting the plush down by the potion and taking Kelvir hand. “I will trust your capable hands, sir.” She grinned brightly. “And your familiars abilities not to mess on my wardrobe.” She paused, looking out. “Ooh, Kelvir, do you know them. ” She asked, motioning to Cearnaigh.
Sally was enjoying herself as she worked on keeping in step with the fey and she laughed as she was twirled, hair flowing around them before settling back into place, face flushed and eyes bright. “Well, where did you learn to dance? Or is it a fey thing?” She questioned, enjoying herself immensely. Dancing, parties, elaborate costumes were much more solar pastimes then lunar but this, this was just nice.
In moderation. She certainly couldn’t see herself doing this week after week though. “Perhaps we can try twirling again? Or maybe something a tad bit faster?” She was certain she could keep up, probably. She missed the brightly colored fennekit till it ran over their feet, with a yip.

"Advantage? You?" He placed a hand to his chest, faux shock! "I can't see you doing anything I would mind!" He gave her a cheeky wink. "I am learning newspaper reporting, I love a juicy story to sink my teeth into! What do you do Miss Netty?"
Rex ;-3 Rex stood near the hall's entrance holding the Brown potion in his fist, not really sure what to do first, he was feeling a lot less confident now he was here.
A Brown Nezubat swooped down and perched on Rex's shoulder, he jumped slightly at the (A little sharp) Landing, but was soon stroking the tiny floof under it's chin. - What a cutie!

Booker ;-12 Booker walked across to the dancefloor with the delightful Netty when a Candy-corn coloured Vespercat curled around his ankles, making him stumble ever so slightly - he looked down and the verspercat looked up with smirky looking eyes, Looked like Booker had been chosen! He hoped Dewitt his Gryftoo would welcome his new friend fondly! Well Dewitt wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, he'd probably be fine with it! She definitely looked like an Elizabeth to him!
Sander ;-11 He bowed deeply to the pretty Sluagh as their dance ended, he walked towards the refreshment table and chugged down two little papercups full of the punch in a big glass bowl.
He felt something fuzzy under the table, her bent down and found a tiny little fluffy Bat plushie, he wasn't really one for Trinkets but he figured he'd keep it and maybe find someone to gift it too, if not it would look quite cute on his shelf~
Merlyn ;-20 Merlyn Looked around them, they were feeling so over-excited they needed to dance with someone, they jittered around to try and catch someone...
“I think I could think of a few,” Netty replied and smirked slightly as she settled into the dance steps with the stranger.
"Finish Highschool, go to college, and create my own line of moisturizers," Netty replied easy enough. "Just have to graduate, which shouldn’t be hard, and not sure what college... Might end up going to community till I'm surer about my dream and plans." She gave a small shrug.
A fennekit ran behind them, starting to bark at Brooker. Netty laughed and reached down, scooping up the familiar. “Just seem to be finding you all over, aren’t I?” She cooed, petting the soft fur.
"Bork Bork Bork!" Booker grinned at the Soft looking Familiar, He held up his recently acquired Candy corn colored Vespercat and pretended to make her talk "Hewwo I'm Elizabeth." The Vespercat was not amused at his shenanigans.
"Wow, that sounds like alot of fun actually, what will you call them?" He glided her with ease, thoroughly enjoying himself. "I'm at Arkham myself currently, I'll probably go on too do more about my writing. But the joy about the future it can change at the drop of a hat!" He dipped her with a grin~
