Archimedes normal reaction would have been to say no, or grump or growl. He paused though looking at the being before him and he thought of the parent who had healed some of his old wounds. He knew they would want him to step out and make some friends, take someone's hand and have some fun. He could still live in a cabin in the woods, go to school. Date be a being with a full life and still be a grumpy wood carver on the side. It was then the desire to dance came over him as well and he nodded and in his gruff tone he said "Yes." Arch stood up and took their hand and started walking out to the dance floor.
Helios blinked as he found another bottle of potion in his hand and again he lost sight of the junior that came and went very quickly. He shrugged and put the potion in his other pocket he really needed a bag or something he never imagined some many things ending up in his hand at a ball. Helios went to get some punch and snacks and he went to sit off to the side to drink and eat. While he watched the other beings in the room dancing and smiling. Wearing their beautiful dresses, classy tuxes, and amazing masks. It was a wonderful site.
Lunette looked at the pretty familiar that floated down to the being she had been speaking to, and she laughed when they remarked on the large plushie. She smiled "No harm done, and thank you again." Lunette said warmly. She saw a ghostly vespercat come over looking at the rammykin that had joined them, this familiar seemed to have joined Lunette. She got up and smiled "So would you like to dance or go get some drinks or snacks with me?" Lunette asked curiously she liked this being so she wanted to spend more time with them unless they wished to go off alone.
Merton was distracted by the gold masked figure who he had asked to dance he was also asked to come play bobbing for apples and he declined to instead dance with the being before him. He was under a spell clearly he could have started a betting pool on the bobbing for apples game and instead he was going to dance with this being for had put him under a spell. Helpless he took their hand and lead them out onto the dance floor. Then Merton started them dancing across the dance floor holding them carefully and being careful not to step on any toes.
Sabel was pretty sure she had bumped into this cotton candy ghost already tonight they teased her senses and her mind a fog of madness and confusion. Sabel was going to find this cotton candy ghost and that was the end of the story!! Ahhh this was going to drive her nuts till she found them bumping into them and them disappearing was driving her up a bloody wall. If this was a haunted hallows trick gah she had to figure this out and if this was a joke Sabel might beat someone up because this was crazy chasing after a ghost or a joke who knew?
Danaka was in her tux and her mask she went over to the table with candy apples on it and she saw a bright green plushie on another table nearby she smiled and picked it up and added another plushie to her collection. This was really nice and she would be able to decorate her dorm with all this plushies. She was looking forward to starting her classes at Asterion soon. She wasn't really sure what her major would be though. She sighed trying to think what she wanted to do with her life besides learning more and more. Unless professional student was an answer.
Javier picked up the plushie not really caring about it but he took it anyway, then he went to sit down to watch the other beings dancing and complimenting each other's masks. He rolled his eyes he didn't know why they were doing it unless there was some sort of enchantment hidden in the room making everyone do strange things. Either that or everyone wanted to get it on, what other reason was there to compliment someone? He continued to watch his new plushie sitting next to him taking up the seat to his right side. Javier didn't care though.
Rosadel took a break from dancing and she went to the table with the lovely plushie she smiled and thanked the junior there where they gave her a plushie. She pushed it's tummy and watched it light up. Rosadel was enchanted with the wonderful toy. She figured she would put it in the room she kept in her house that she hoped to someday put her children in. Rosadel really wanted them and Esther her best friend would help but they still didn't know if they were in love or if they were just friends. Did Rosadel want kids more than she wanted love?
Fiametta ended up with yet another plushie in her arms this one much bigger than the last and she liked it it looked like it had a bloody handprint on it that was sooo cool. She danced around the dance floor with her plushies Fiametta would never care if someone was dancing with her or not. She was a free spirit she did what she wanted when she wanted end of story and she refused to let anyone stand in her way of having fun and living her life the way she wanted to live it. Fiametta would gladly punch someone who questioned her being her.
Galen saw the ghostly familiar coming towards him he was curious and he smiled at little looked at the spooky familiar. Galen ran his hand over the familiar and then went out of the dance floor to see if he could find someone to dance with or to talk to. He was new to the area having lived in a far away city. He also did a great deal of traveling between the above and below which was how his family had made their money. Galen wanted for nothing and he was bothered by nothing he sailed through life calmly.
Esther looked curiously at the bobbing for apples game why not she thought she went over and attempted to get one of the apples. She got very wet and she finally managed to get an apple with her teeth. She came up and got a towel from one of the volunteers. The chill didn't bother Esther she was often cold but it didn't phase her it was just part of being a litch to Esther and one of the reasons she decided to own and run a funeral home. She worked well with death and the dead and comforted her in a way.
As the kumiho moved about anxiously, she couldn't help a knowing smile. The poor thing was probably fighting to be sociable just as she was. It had taken her a lot of courage to come and find her mystery compliment dropper. “I do, actually!” She beamed as the other picked up a cute little plush. While they fell into an only slightly awkward silence, she overheard a nearby group talking about a baby pumpka patch. “Uhm.. So I heard about this baby pumpka petting thing just outside. Would you wanna go with me? I bet they're really cute.”

While attempting to reprimand the two creatures that had seemed to take a liking to them, someone had shoved a rather large flitterat plushie into their arms. Syblia grinned widely, setting the giant plush atop the table to admire it with their newest friends. “It’s not so bad, huh? Little bigger than you but that's okay!” They joked to the flitterat still perched on their lap, eying both the plush and the bird warily. Chuckling, they patted the animal and continued to try and get to get along.

Cearnaigh smiled at the woman he towered over. At a little over six feet in height, he was a giant compared to her. Though that didn't stop someone from shoving a huge flitterat plush into his arms as they dashed by. How peculiar. As the demon before him asked for his company through the fortune teller’s tent, he nodded. “Sure, be fun to see what they say,” he chuckled with a shrug. He had personally never been quite into that kind of thing, but it was certainly an interesting concept.

Mbizi wandered the room aimlessly as he took in the sights. They had truly splurged on the decorations and entertainment for the night and it most certainly showed! The lighting was gorgeous and the food and drink they had made for the night looked and smelled delicious. He strolled outside and looked about the courtyard letting out a surprised chuckle as a pumpka meandered its way up to him. “Looks like I've made another friend.”
Ada Ada was super excited for this ball. Looked at her reflection and she smiled with joy. Her gown made her look like a beautiful princess. The mask that covers her face was decorated with feather. She felt so beautiful. Her parents drover to the ball since she didnt have a date. She started to walk up the door and she heard a noise. She looked down at ber dress and a vesper cat was hidding like it seen a ghost. Ada smiled and and started to walk into the building the Vesper cat states to fallow her. “ Are you lost little one?” The cat didn't respond to her talking. I didnt nothing but follow her. Ada decidded to ignore the cat till it goes away. Isley
Rowena
[promp for both isley and rowena] Isley and Rowena are very close friends so of course they would go to the dance together. Isley dressed in her green ivy covered dress and Rowena dressed in a purple and black ball gown. Of course Rowen had to get a cute bow around him. They head off to the dance and they seen that to ball wall filled with students. They walked into and seen that whole room was very decorative and they smile wide. Then someone walked up to Isley and Rowena but the music was so loud they could hear. They stranger was trying to tell them that they looked great, but both Rowena and Isley didnt not hear. So isley smiled then waved. Rowena looked at the steanger and said thank and the stranger smiled back and walked away.
As that warm golden gaze washed over him, Thoth's nerves settled and he smiled--though it wasn't visible beneath the helmet-like mask. He reached out a hand, leaning forward a little to be able to see what he was doing. As cool as his mask looked (Thanks, Fem Thoth!), it was rather cumbersome. He couldn't exactly move around with ease, and his peripheral was non-existent.
Fishing for Frost's hand, he gave it a squeeze. "You look wonderful," he offered, shuffling closer. He pulled out the Skyfish plush he'd picked up for Frost for this very occasion and offered it.
"I, er...got you something to commemorate the occasion..."
