Lunette smiled at the being she had been speaking with and smiled at the bat that landed on her shoulder "I think this little one is trying to cut in before we've even begun." Lunette laughed as she looked at her bat friend and then back at the being she had asked to dance with her and do other things with her. Lunette wanted to do so many things that she often didn't have time to do when she was stuck on tour. Singing, practicing singing, signing autographs. Lunette was sick of it, she needed something fresh in her life.
Merton grinned showing his sharp chomp teeth off to the being he danced with, when the dance ended he thank "Thanks." Then he thanked them again for complimenting his mask in return. "It's been real and nice dancing with you." Merton said excusing himself from his companions company after all one dance didn't mean they owned his soul. He wondered what a soul would go for on the open market. So many things to buy and sell. Merton was ready to do it all try it all get it all. He turned back to the being he had danced with then wandered off to look at some fancy plushies.
Sabel didn't want any more plushies and she was tired of chasing the phantom around the ballroom, she flopped down on a chair she needed a major break. She let out a long sigh as she said down huffing her breaths after running all over the ballroom hunting for a being who might have never been there in the first place. Sabel knew she was kinda crazy but hey some thought that hallows were crazy to start with being imbued and awakened in this month of the curse. Then again Sabel still thought she was great the way she was.
Danaka picked out a plushie from a table run by a junior they were really cute covered in spider webs. Danaka smiled and took her stuff to a place where they were allowing guests to keep the stuff they were given at the party. Danaka fluttered her wings and looked around the ballroom. Then she went outside to take a walk and get some fresh air. Dani needed some time to herself she walked by the area with the baby familiars and the beings cooing and smiling over them. Past the fortune tellers tent on she walked trying to get some space for herself.
Javier was being his vain grumpy self, then a rammy kin came down and bumped him in the face with its small fluffy body. Javier chocked his eyebrow at the bold little rammy kin. "You have guts little familiar." Javier said in an amused tone. Strangely he couldn't bring himself to be angry at the familiar. He petted the fluff ball and cuddled it a little before going back to sitting down with the rammy kin cuddled up in his lap. He was happy and enjoying himself finally the familiar had broken the mood in Javier that evening. He smiled and looked down at his new friend.
Rosadel was still dancing with the demon she had asked to dance with her since the start of the evening they had talked and joked a bit. She enjoyed their company, then after this last dance, she excused herself. Rosadel needed a break badly, she was hungry and thirsty. She badly needed to sit down her feet hurting her after as long as she had been dancing with the red demon. Rosadel sat down with a deep sigh finally able to drink and eat and relax for a bit before she decided she wanted to dance again or do something else.
Fiametta looked around for someone to dance with but saw no one that caught her eye so she kept dancing with her plushie. They wouldn't reject her. Perhaps that was what Fia feared being rejected so striking out to ask strangers things like if they wanted to dance with her was kinda scary. So she took the safer choice she decided to dance with the plushie that would let her down. Perhaps later she would put the plushie away and try out doing stuff with live beings instead of toys. Fiametta smiled maybe someone would ask her to dance and she could look cool.
Galen looked around calmly but he didn't see anyone free to dance with him he felt a bit sad about that and went for a walk instead. He looked around at the various things there were to see the baby familiars, the fortune tellers tent. It was a nice set up indeed Galen hadn't attended the school himself. He had private tutors when he was a freshling. His family had always had a great deal of money. Galen had always gotten whatever he wanted it might have been why he found everything in his life so dull. It was all taken for grant it.
Esther looked at the ghostly little cockatriel she smiled and said "Greetings." She got some snacks from the snack table to share with her little friends. The rammy kin and the cockatriel. She was happy with them it was rather funny that a little ghostly familiar had joined her considering she was a funeral home owner. Esther had spoken with real spirits, she was pretty sure that the cockatriel wasn't a spirit but one could never really be sure since sometimes spirits looked as alive as every other being. Esther had gotten some very strange looks from other beings while talking to spirits she thought were alive.
Aleanette smiled happily as the kumiho agreed to accompany her to the pumka patch. The beginning of the walk outside was filled with an only slightly awkward silence. “Uhm, have you been around here long?” She realized how lame it sounded, but she was truly curious. Besides, she was trying her best to be sociable. When they came to the pen, she cooed over the small pumkas a moment before turning back to the other. “I'm probably keeping you from something,” the hybrid murmured softly, pushing her mess of curls from her face. “Thanks for coming out here with me. I, uhm, I get it if you wanna go back in.” She was rather proud of herself. She'd actually interacted with a complete stranger without completely panicking.

Syblia had been at the table since entering the grand hall. After a while, they began to feel quite lonely despite the multiple furry and feathery friends they had accumulated. Casting their eyes about the crowds, they wanted to find someone to talk to. There were so many beautiful clothes and masks that they decided that would be a good ice breaker. Standing, they strode into the throngs of people. They came up to various people, but every time they tried to compliment them on something, the other would walk away before they had a chance to even speak. Their ears fell on their head, tail dropping to drag the floor. Perhaps tonight wouldn't be as fun as they had originally thought.

Cearnaigh had snorted rather unattractively at the fortune teller as they had read the demon’s fortune. Which turned out to be a load of crock, but she had found it amusing all the same. As they came out and she asked her question, he shrugged while she looked around. She seemed to be looking for someone so he took that as his cue to leave. “Since it seems you're looking for someone, I'll leave you to it,” the chimera smiled, reaching out to take her hand and press a rather gentlemanly kiss to the back of it. “It was pleasure, miss.” As he took his leave, he was approached by a volunteer who tried to talk him into bobbing for apples which he politely declined before wandering deeper into the crowds.

Mbizi was making his way back inside when he ran into someone. Immediately sputtering out an apology, he tried to rectify the situation but the stranger just turned and winked at him. The smell of cotton candy hit him and with a moment of bewilderment, the stranger took off into the hall. Confused and feeling a bit of deja vu, the nixie wandered into the hall, keeping an eye out for the mysterious person.
Frost's blush only deepened as Thoth reached out and grabbed his hand, the butterflies in his stomach soaring up in to his throat. "You could tell the letter was mine then ... " Frost's head bowed, his eyes peering down at the ground, though behind his mask the litch-geist was touched, a small smile curling his pale lips in to a sincere smile. Thoth is the sweetest boy ...
The hybrid's attentions were recaptured as Thoth mentioned his gift, holding out the floppy, somewhat limp skyfish plush. Frost gently lifted his mask to get a better few, giggling at it's perfectly derpy face. "It is a beautiful gift, Thoth. Thank you ... I got you something too." Frost slid the skyfish plush in to his hand and replaced it with the fluffy nezubat plushie had had been holding since before Thoth's arrival. "I pray to the Nine that you like it ... "
"Thank you, so very much." Carmen replied and took the offer arm. "Aren't you a proper gentlemen." She beamed at him, and nodded as Kelvir started to talk about his familiar. So the cute little bat was Ned. How adorable and he had a Kidden and a Vespercat.
"My name is Carmen, it is very nice to met you Kelvir." She startled slightly as someone whispered something in her ear and seemly melted away before she could catch them an ask what they had said. How very, very rude. "Did you catch that?" She asked, reaching up to rub at her face slightly.

“I do hope that wasn’t’ rude of me, but your hair is just so gorgeous. I can never really do anything with mine.” Sally motioned to her sleek purple hair. “Though I wouldn’t even know how to start, truly.” Worrying about her hair wasn’t really a lunar cherub trait. It seemed a bit troublesome and just so many things that she could spend her time on that were more important… but, she sort of wanted to do things with it now.
She was so distracted she bumped into someone. Who smelled oddly of cotton candy, a body spray? She went to make an apology but then they disappeared. “Would you like to do something? Go somewhere?” She asked.
"Well, I try my best," Kelvir said with a humble chuckle. The look in her (strange) eyes gave him the impression that he had her attention. More points in his favor, perhaps? "It's nice to meet you too, Carmen." He tried his best to flash a winning grin at her. At that moment, he thought he saw a shadow, and when Carmen asked him if he caught something, he felt a bit befuddled. "Catch what? Did that guy say something to you? It better not have been anything mean." Because if it was something mean, he would have to... do things.
At that point, a red and brown Nezubat swooped down and knocked Ned off Kelvir's shoulder. "Huhwhat?" Squeaking, Ned flitted back up to Kelvir's shoulder, apparently grumbling. Kelvir chuckled again, uneasily. "I wonder if he was trying to warn us about incoming Nezubats."
