Sleep was always such a foreign action to the Undead ghoul, so when it was time for everyone else to wake up it had taken her just a little bit longer for her body to process that it was indeed time to wake up. When she finally did, it was slow and almost methodical. Eyes opened first, then a twitching of her blackened fingers to then getting her upper body upright. Her head felt abuzz with many whispers but she shook her head to clear them away as she turned to stare at the others for the moment, puzzled of what they had been doing.
Clearly something. And had been working on it for sometime while she was a dead weight on the ground. It seemed they were trying to solve something. A riddle maybe? She pondered as she pushed herself to her feet and walked over to where the runes were being place and some sort of device. A few others had been going past her, placing items and trying to get matches it seemed (haha, it looked like a face) but it only took the wight mere seconds to declare herself confused. And oddly a little frustrated at the fact.
Spotting the flame demon not too far, Olivia wandered over to Andrew. Maybe he would fill her in on what was going on? OuO (Or maybe she should pressure him to do it... wait, what was that thought?)

Meanwhile, Maple felt terrible. Not only did her head hurt from falling asleep so suddenly - and without memory of doing so - but the response of waking up in a near panic. She was upright so quickly and looking around frantic. Where was she? How? Why? Oh Hecate, was this another thing the villagers wanted them to do? Were they going to have to fight a new thing?
Calming down took a little effort, her hands were twisting in her hair with worry but eventually she got to normal Maple levels of every day life - slight anxiety, usual stuff. From where she had been, she observed and frowned. Apparently they were trying to all solve a puzzle. Something she... sometimes didn't mind doing (she felt a little bad for coming into this all late now).
The witch got to her feet and dusted her skirt off from what had collected on the fabric and soon moved to walk around the area that they were now entrapped in - it seemed - retracing a few of the steps the others had taken to get herself up to speed.

Ah, this was far more of a pleasant surprise.
"Puella, it is good to see you again. If only it were in better circumstance."
"I'm afraid I haven't. Puzzles are not my strong suit. This riddle is particularly difficult." And riddles were something Silannas normally enjoyed but not when her freedom was impeded.
"But it is good to see a friend here." A soft smile spread across her face.

Oh was that Olivia? how had he missed her unconscious body. he was probably feeling a little overwhelmed by the fact they were trapped and with no way out but the sealed door. She was staring at him, clearly looking for some direction. And big eyes. Was she hoping he could solve things for her.
"I got nothing." he just gave her a helpless look. "All I got was some paper and numbers. And pie." Pie was a theme with the numbers, but he couldn't for the life of him figure out what it meant. Maybe someone had an unhealthy obsession with circles. Andrew just didn't know, and couldn't figure it out on his own. He was starting to think they would be stuck in this city forever.
Or worst stuck in this cave forever, neither of which he wanted. Though with Olivia here it wouldn't be that bad... except that their powers would overwhelm each other eventually.

Maybe it was bedtime, maybe he used up too much energy, AJ yawned and stretched his muscles, realized he slept. He was like a blank page for a while, eyes glazed over and not moving until everything clicked. Like someone had switched on the lights for him, he could slowly raise his hand and scratch his head and begin to look around. Vision still blurred but he would feel the sufficient light, it was free of fog.
He might be a bit late for the party, faces he saw from the same bus were talking and moving objects already. He touched his temples calmly, feeling the stingy pain that subsided and fading away. Looking up the ceiling, he understood he was somewhere indoor and from the table in the middle of the area, it seemed someone lived there.
He stood up, dusted himself and walked towards the end of the cave. AJ brushed across the delicate carving, he looked closer when he heard of the voice - it was loud. A final test, he smiled, their efforts finally caught the villagers' attention. A riddle? So it's time to test their intelligent level huh?
After the voice didn't say anymore, he studied the carving carefully. Runes? And the drawing above the empty rectangles should be a pumpkin, in black color.
He contemplated, first he had to get the rune before he can do anything. He hoped after this riddle, the villagers would tell him the way to get home. It was getting late, and he had classes tomorrow. Furthermore, he knew there were some freshmen on their ways to Amityville, how unlucky.

Zar was used to not knowing where he was and waking up without ever remembering falling asleep, when you lived with a Sloth demon such things were very much an inherent part of life. It also meant that he had been in no major hurry to wake up where he was coiled and had stayed there in quiet slumber while the others tried to free themselves and did a great deal of legwork which he completely missed. When he woke, people were milling around and gathering strange blank squares to do....something with.
He wasn't the smartest creature there was and finding himself trapped in a cave with no way out, he simply resolved to watch the others.
"I am assuming the door is locked?" he asked, stating the bleedingly obvious.
Sayael was brimming with miasma, about to explode or something. Had anyone else felt like this? Had anyone else heard the same voices she had?
Glancing around wildly, she made an exaggerated gesture, bringing her finger up to her lips and looking very cross.
"SHHH! Some people are trying to talk!"

Marosa glanced over at the fellow faerie that had eaten a piece of popcorn on the ground, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. Had she seriously done that? Some faeries just had no manners, or no sense of what they portrayed to others.
Seeing Red, however, brought him back to his early days. He had never known her personally, and figured she probably didn't remember him save for one class he might have been in a long time ago, but he'd heard a lot about her.
Approaching her respectfully, he smiled. "Ye probably don't remember me, but you were kind of a big deal when oi first attended here, being the gym teacher and all. Oi've heard you were a bogeyman. Is it... worth it?" After his run in with the hunters, it was one job the gancanagh was thinking seriously about. He was nearly in his third year... and didn't want to be caught doing nothing with his life. Of course, he could have been wrong in her being a bogeyman currently. But she did used to be a teacher, that much he knew for sure.

Leo wasn't quite sure how she'd gotten here. Last she remembered, she'd been... she paused, thinking hard - doing tasks in the village? Yes, that seemed right. What task exactly had preceded this, she had no idea though. It all sort of swam together in her head.
Her arms were heavy when she tried to move them; the slightest finger twitch was the response she got. This would have made her panicked, should have made her panic, but her head was heavy as well and panic just felt like entirely too much effort. She tried her legs and the response was slightly better - ah yes, now she could feel sense coming back to her limbs. They prickled, like they'd been asleep for a long time, but surely that couldn't be right. Had it been that long since she fell asleep?
She didn't know, having lost track of time. Examining her surroundings revealed - a cave, dimly lit, and a lot of creeple. Some were familiar faces, creeple she'd seen through-out the day at the village, others were unfamiliar to her. She groggily turned her head, taking in more of the cave, but it didn't look like anywhere she'd ever been before.
By now most of her senses had come back and she stretched, working out the kinks in her joints.
It figured something like this would happen though; this village had been shifty right from the start, in her opinion. The multitude of tasks hadn't made it any less so, even if they'd just been designed for getting all the newcomers out of the villagers' hair. But really, if you were sending someone up a dangerous mountain, at least warn them about all the sand whales residing there!
But the village had brought some good things with it too, if nothing else; she'd met a lot of awesome creeple, even made some new friends and yes, the sand whales were a pain, but the adventure of it all had been fun. Not that she'd be looking to settle down here or anything, but it'd been a surprisingly nice trip - she wasn't looking forward to the plethora of worried messages from her family waiting on her phone when she got home, though. If she got home.
She wasn't too worried, to be honest, even if the cave was sealed off. There were a lot of creeple here after all, and there'd been a boogeyman in the village; their disappearance would be noticed, and something would be done about it.
The other creeple in the cave seemed to have examining it well in hand too, so for now Leo just waited for a chance to be useful.

What would pie have to do with getting out of a weird cave? Did they have to eat it? But as Olivia looked around where the two of them stood, she didn't seem to see any food stuffs around them at all. "I don't see pie..." Just the papers he had indicated and apparently some blank looking rune things. One seemed to be underfoot, so she picked it up and flipped it over a few times in her hand. How weird (hopefully she could keep it).

The first thought she had when she awoke was one of panic.
The bus was still stranded. They still hadn't figured out how to leave. How had she ended up on the floor? Had these strange citizens of this weird village done something to her? What of the other horsemen? Would they be alright, or were they trapped in here, too? Why did she feel so groggy? How had she even gotten here? She was not exactly light --
Nkosazana noted that all of her limbs felt much heavier than usual, and she strained to pull them up, to pull herself up to a sitting position and look around at what she was surrounded with. Even turning her head felt like a struggle, like she had been drugged versus having just fallen asleep. Had she awoken from a dream? If she had, she could not recall it. Had her abilities as a priestess faded that much?
Eventually, her mind settled itself, as she took a deep breath and let herself calm. This was not the time for panic, and she knew that. Nkosazana should know better, perhaps more than the average mare or stallion, that there was no point in riling herself up. They had gone through much worse as horsemen, much worse than waking up on cold ground and wondering how one had gotten themselves there.
When she was able to feel the sensation in her limbs again, more than just the feeling of her limbs being too heavy for her body, Nkosazana placed her hands on the ground and used it as a way to push herself back to her feet. That was better. Perhaps, here, she could get a better view of her surroundings. There were a pile of runes off over there, near what looked to be blood. There was a table, and papers, and a coffin that was a chair that was currently occupied by what was clearly a citizen of Halloween, along with a mob of denizens surrounding her. Was she a professor at one of the schools? Perhaps she had some idea of what was happening here.
From what she overheard, it appeared that in order to leave, the group of them would need to solve a riddle. Luckily for her, it appeared that some were already on the case of solving it. Considering they appeared to be much further along than she was, Nkosazana decided that she would look for fellow horsemen instead, making sure that none of them were in even worse predicaments than she had been when she had awoken.

It was a peculiar place that she found herself in, and Saoirse wasn't sure how she felt about it. There was something about riddles, tricky little things that they were, but they weren't her strong suite. Oh the sneakiness and deception to them was, but not the rest of it all. Of course, if she had any idea what she was doing, or what the riddle actually was, then perhaps she could get started on it.
Of course, getting started was the hard part. She was about to just go sit on the table to watch everyone else work when someone started moving it, and that didn't seem like the wisest idea. Instead she went to stand by the water, watching for several moments before starting to get bored. Absentmindedly she stared at the water for several moments before it occurred to her that perhaps she could kick the water somewhere else. And at least trying to kick water into the hole in the ground would give her something to do while everyone else worked on that puzzle.

It seemed as though most of the individuals around had slowed down, no one really examining the room or trying more runes in the slots left by the crystals. They were runes that she wasn't sure about. Somehow they had obtained them, and it was true that there were a few scattered about, though some seemed glued to the floor.
Not too far off was one that looked loose, and after looking around for a few more long moments she meandered over to it, nudging it with her toes to make sure it budged. It would hardly be dignified if she tried to pry it off the ground and it was well and truly stuck.
Fortunately it did move, so she knelt down and picked up one of the blank runes from the floor, holding it close to examine it, turning it over and over in her hands. There seemed to be nothing special about it, and she didn't have a second one to try the mechanism with. She'd just hold onto it for now, which would be a lot more useful if she had pockets.
Dresses were awful in some ways.
Since she didn't have a pocket she did what any lady would do. She slipped the rune down the top of her dress so it rested in her cleavage, then looked around nonchalantly.
